The book explains and contextualises many current media issues, from the ‘trad wife' and nostalgic gender politics, to the complicated politics of mumsnet, blogging and business coaches. Dave talks with Jessica Martin, Bryan Hughes and Chris Miller. The show starts part way through Jessica Martin's interview.
We've talked a lot about AI on the show this year, but this week's conversation might be my favorite take yet... because instead of talking about how to save time or write faster, we're talking about how AI can actually make your work more creative and more personal.I'm joined by Austin-based photographer Jessica Martin, who's using AI in ways that honestly surprised me. She's building tools that help her connect more deeply with her clients; from personalized prompts that make her seniors feel seen to playful ideas that keep family sessions fun and interactive.Jessica shares how she uses ChatGPT to brainstorm and customize ideas, how she turns those digital concepts into real-world client experiences, and why she sees AI as a creative partner rather than a replacement. If you've been curious about AI but aren't sure how to make it feel authentic or human, this episode will show you what's possible when technology supports your imagination instead of competing with it.LINKS:Home of Jessica's photography work, senior prompts, and her upcoming custom GPT project.Follow Jessica on InstagramMonthly Marketing Magic for Photographers: Get your first month of The Consistency Club for just $1Resources: New to the podcast? In this episode, I'm joined by Jessica Martin to explore neurohacking for boundaries which sounds super techy, but don't worry, we break it down into real-life, relatable magic. If you've ever struggled to actually uphold the boundaries you set this one's for you. Jessica walks us through her “triangle method” to rewire our brains and stop letting old patterns win. We talk about setting boundaries with others and with ourselves (like not doom-scrolling before sunrise), why rewards matter more than we think, and how to start small instead of waiting for a perfect Monday. This is about ditching the shame spiral, picking one doable shift, and reinforcing it with dopamine. Whether it's finally asking people to text before dropping by, or reclaiming your mornings from social media chaos, you'll leave this convo with practical steps and permission to evolve. In this episode, we discuss: How your brain processes boundaries, habits, and resistance. Why boundaries often fail and how to make them stick. Boundaries with others vs. boundaries with yourself. Why “just this once” turns into a lifetime of resentment. Why upholding boundaries isn't selfish, it's self-respecting. On today's episode, we meet a Texas-born couple who started RVing several years ago and opted to get training to become certified RV inspectors. Bobby Greenwell and Jessica Martin started their journey into the RV lifestyle like many others – with a desire for freedom, adventure and more quality time together. After spending nearly two years full-time RVing in a fifth wheel, they transitioned to part-time travel in a Class A motorhome. But along the way, they made some rookie mistakes that ultimately led them to a new calling: becoming RV inspectors. Today, Bobby and Jessica operate Double Diamond RV Inspections out of southern Illinois where they use their hard-earned experience to help others avoid the same pitfalls and make smarter RV buying decisions. The couple didn't set out to become RV inspectors. It just happened naturally. After buying and selling multiple rigs, they realized how easy it was to overlook critical details when emotion gets involved in an RV purchase. A simple online search led Bobby to the National RV Training Academy Their business, Double Diamond RV Inspections, was born shortly after he completed the inspector certification in fall of 2023. Today, Bobby handles the technical side of the inspections while Jessica manages the logistics and marketing. Together, they bring a personal, compassionate approach to every inspection, knowing firsthand the importance of getting it right. Their business primarily serves a five-state area – Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. They’ve found a strong niche in a region where RV inspectors are scarce, and they've even built relationships with nearby competitors to promote mutual support. Their personal RVing experience, especially with boondocking and long-distance travel for ultra-marathons, gives them unique insight into how different rigs function in real-life situations. That background, combined with Bobby's technical expertise from a prior career in network engineering, ensures clients receive thorough, honest, and detail-rich inspection reports. Jessica and Bobby named their business “Double Diamond” as a nod to both their partnership and their rustic, farmhouse style. Although only Bobby is a certified inspector, they work as a true team, just as they have for the past 25 years of marriage. To learn more about their business, visit www.doublediamondrvi.com, or find them on LinkedIn and Facebook by searching for Double Diamond RV Inspections. Whether you're new to RVing or a seasoned traveler, their story is a great reminder that, sometimes, the best opportunities arise from the lessons learned on the road. Today's episode is brought to you by the featured employers at Workamper.com. These Workamper Employers have taken the extra step to share some photos and detailed information about their Workamper programs with you. Check them out today! Opportunities exist for solos, couples and families, whether they are full-time, part-time, seasonal or even long-term jobs. If you are an employer seeking to hire Workampers, then you can learn how to benefit from year-round recruiting by becoming a Featured Employer. Visit www.workamper.com/fedetails. That's all for this week's show. Next time I will be speaking with an RVer who has been Workamping for several years. That's long enough for her to provide some advice to employers on how to recruit Workampers. I'll have that interview on the next episode of The Workamper Show. Thank you for listening!

Slam the Gavel welcomes Marineka Bowman to the podcast. Marineka was last on Season 3, Episodes 104, 131, 159, 160, 174 and 184, Season 4, Episodes 22, 48 and 61, Season 5, Episode 149. Last time Marineka was on the podcast we discussed Judicial Harassment, Neglect, Abuse and the Child Support Law in Delaware. Today we updated Marineka's case where Delaware Judge Natalie Haskins STILL is not going by the Child Support Law in Delaware and the opposing Attorney Laura Brooks has stepped down. The new opposing Attorney is Constance Dorsney. Apparently, her ex voluntarily stopped working for one year and is still demanding child support without providing W-2. Also, her child is on Medicare, while forcing Marineka to provide Medical care and the conference officer, Jessica Martin just sits back and allows this. Marineka only gets to see her daughter once a week on Sundays, when the father hasn't been in the child's life for four years. Now, Marineka is paying child support to her ex, via Judge Natalie Haskins (who also constantly denies Marineka's requests for ROCO), so he can use Marineka's money to provide for his whole new family. Not only is Child Support WEAPONIZED, so is the child. To Reach Marineka Bowman: dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.com****** Supportshow(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/maryannpetri)Maryann Petri: dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.comhttps://www.tiktok.com/@maryannpetriFacebook: https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/guitarpeace/Pinterest: Slam The Gavel Podcast/@guitarpeaceLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maryann-petri-62a46b1ab/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@slamthegavelpodcasthostmar5536 Twitter https://x.com/PetriMaryann*DISCLAIMER* The use of this information is at the viewer/user's own risk. Send us a text“Great, now I have another reason to hate Christmas…The worst thing that ever happened to me was on Christmas. Oh, God. It was so horrible. It was Christmas Eve. I was 9 years old. Me and Mom were decorating the tree, waiting for Dad to come home from work. A couple hours went by. Dad wasn't home. So Mom called the office. No answer. Christmas Day came and went, and still nothing. So the police began a search. Four or five days went by. Neither one of us could eat or sleep. Everything was falling apart. It was snowing outside. The house was freezing, so I went to try to light up the fire. That's when I noticed the smell. The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.” Happy Holidays! “Gremlins,” (D. Joe Dante 1984) Starring: Zack Galligan, Pheobe Cates, and Hoyt Axton. All of which happens to be true. Mark is the author of After America, which was a Top Five bestseller in the United States and a Number One bestseller in Canada; America Alone: The End Of The World As We Know It, a New York Times bestseller in the United States and a Number One bestseller in Canada; and his most recent bestseller, The [Un]documented Mark Steyn. His most recent CD is his cat album, dedicated to his own beloved cat Marvin: Feline Groovy: Songs for Swingin' Cats was a Number One jazz bestseller, a Top Twenty album on the Billboard chart, and a Top Thirty album on Amazon's pop chart. Their subsequent full-length Christmas album, Making Spirits Bright, reached Number Four on the jazz chart. "Nine Lives", the song he co-wrote with Kevin Amos, was a Top Thirty smash on the Moldovan Hit Parade. Thank you, Moldova! Steyn's human rights campaign to restore free speech to Canada led to the repeal by Parliament of the notorious "Section 13" hate-speech law, a battle he recounts in his book Lights Out: Islam, Free Speech And The Twilight Of The West. Mark hosts The Mark Steyn Show, which airs every evening Monday to Thursday. He also presents Steyn's Song of the Week every Sunday afternoon on Serenade Radio. In New York he can be heard with his longtime EIB comrade, Bo Snerdley, every Tuesday on 77 WABC. For a decade and a half until Rush's death, Mark was a hugely popular guest-host of America's Number One radio show The Rush Limbaugh Program. He regularly drew some of the highest ratings in all US television as a host for Tucker and other top shows. With fans around the world, Steyn has appeared on stages across the planet from Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. His 2016 nationwide tour of Australia was sold out coast to coast. He has spoken in the Canadian Parliament, the Ontario Parliament, the Danish Parliament, and the Australian Parliament, where he was introduced by the then Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop. Over the years, Mark's writing on politics, arts and culture has been published in almost every major newspaper around the English-speaking world, including Britain's Daily Telegraph, Canada's National Post, The Australian, The Irish Times, The Jerusalem Post, The Wall Street Journal, and many more. Mark's other books include A Song For The Season, Mark Steyn's Passing Parade, Mark Steyn From Head To Toe and The Face Of The Tiger.
