H1 - Segment 3 - Fri Aug 29 2025 - Mark in Lockhart. I have an Idea to beat Lindsey Graham with 13 percent turnout .
A public feud has erupted between Donald Trump and the Republican leadership in the Senate, revealing a deep divide within the party. The transcript claims that Senate Republicans, led by Chuck Grassley and John Thune, are actively blocking Trump's judicial and other nominees. The speaker argues that this is not only an act of sabotage but a "hostage situation" designed to force Trump to abandon his plan for spending cuts, known as "Doge Cuts." This internal conflict, the transcript suggests, is a consequence of the Republican party becoming the "biggest spending party" in history, a reality that the leadership is allegedly trying to hide. The broadcast challenges prominent Republicans like Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott to take a side, highlighting the high stakes of this intra-party war. It's a look at a Republican Party at a crossroads, where loyalty to the party's leadership is in direct conflict with the agenda of the president.

Interview with SC Senator Lindsey Graham

And welcome to the program on this Monday afternoon as we are broadcasting live from the Anderson. I call it the Civic Center, but I think the actual name is the Anderson, Sports And Entertainment Complex. That's we wanna be very precise about that as we were getting ready for representative Sherry Bigg's Salute to Liberty, that is gonna be going on this afternoon. I'll tell you what. I just walked into the main auditorium. We're in the VIP area right now. Just walked over into the main auditorium. It looks fantastic. It really, really does. It looks absolutely amazing. So it's gonna be a great event tonight. And, if you haven't got your your tickets yet, you can always go online. I think you can go to salutetoliberty.org, or you can go over to Eventbrite and, check out those there now. For an event like this, first term congresswoman, you know, expecting maybe four or 500 people, except tonight, they are saying they've already had reservations for over 1,200, and that is, that is gonna be a huge event. Of course, we got, governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders gonna be here later on this afternoon. And, that is, that's a oh, a huge draw. She is what a a a wonderful, wonderful conservative Sarah Huckabee Sanders is. Let's see. Charlie, I just read an interesting article about Laura Loomer and Lindsey Graham. We'll talk about that article coming up because I have seen that all weekend long. But I guess the big news right now is that Volodymyr Zelensky, was at the White House today. And let me tell you something. You wanna talk about a change between what happened today at the White House and what happened a few months ago at the White House. Everything was different. A couple of months ago, Zelensky walked into the White House with an attitude. So once the Zelensky walked into the White House with with a sweatsuit on and and combat boots, he walked in with with just such arrogance and it you know what? It did not play well with Donald Trump. It did not play well with JD Vance. Today, much more subdued, much more relaxed. In fact, they were joking and kidding around there in the White House about Zelensky's suit. I said the one that attacked you last time. I wanna go back and get this this whole comment here. President Zelensky, you look fabulous in that suit. I said the same thing. Yeah. Look. You look good. I said the same thing. Yeah. It was good. I said the one that attacked you last time. See? That was an I remember that. I apologize to you. Look you look wonderful. No. My first question for you, president Zelensky. In the same suit. You see, I changed your eyes. Maybe yours is better. Much more levity, much more lighthearted, much more, shall I say, respectful of the office of the presidency of the United States. So that happened today. Also, there was there there was some talks about, Zelensky, giving up some land. He said there's there's not gonna be any redrawing of maps. Of course, this is all a negotiation. We will see about that. But remember, it was during the, during the Biden administration that everybody said in order for there to be peace in Ukraine, Ukraine was gonna have to give up something. And old Joe Scarborough even reminded us of that over on Morning Joe today. Let's take a listen to what he said there. Here we go. Hold on just a second. Here's old Morning Joe. Oh, I'm turning the wrong knob here. Hold on. I got a 100 knobs here. Here we go. Wait a minute. Doggone it. Here we are. Thanks, sir. Just again, to set expectations, to be realistic. Even during the Biden administration, every Biden official, including the chairman of the joint chief says they're gonna have to give a plan. They're not gonna like giving up land, but they're gonna have to give a plan, number one. Number two, they're not going to become members of NATO. There may have been people writing articles in the Wall Street Journal or elsewhere saying they have to be members of NATO, but you go around to every European leader, th ...
Send us a textMark Lynch is challenging the political establishment in a race that could dramatically reshape South Carolina's representation in Washington. A successful businessman who transformed his family enterprise from 5 employees to 110 while maintaining debt-free operations since 1999, Lynch brings a refreshing perspective to a political landscape dominated by career politicians. The conversation reveals Lynch's deeply held convictions about returning America to its constitutional foundations. Having invested $5 million of his own retirement funds into his campaign, Lynch demonstrates his commitment to remaining independent from special interests while mounting a serious challenge to Senator Lindsey Graham's long-held seat. His decision to run stems from years of community involvement and growing concern about the direction of the country.Lynch's platform centers around putting "God first," advocating for constitutional governance, eliminating what he views as unconstitutional federal agencies, implementing a biblical flat tax system, and enforcing immigration laws. His pro-life stance and emphasis on manufacturing revival resonate with conservative South Carolina voters. Internal polling suggests a promising path forward, with Lynch reporting that 57% of South Carolina voters say they'll never vote for Graham again, while 60% prefer a successful businessman. While acknowledging the challenge of running against an incumbent with President Trump's endorsement, Lynch remains confident that his business experience and America-first platform will ultimately win over South Carolina voters in the June 2026 primary. For those interested in supporting his campaign, Lynch invites listeners to visit Lynch4Senate.com to volunteer, donate, or learn more about his vision for representing South Carolina with integrity and conservative principles. As Lynch emphasizes throughout the conversation, this campaign is not merely political—it's a calling to restore godly leadership to the United States Senate.Support the showhttps://www.jacksonfamilyministry.comhttps://bobslone.com/home/podcast-production/

The race for the Governor's chair is filling up. Who's in and who gets DJT's endorsement? Plus, will Lindsey Graham face a significant challenger for the U.S. Senate? And a lowcountry school is in hot water over a recent hiring. Why are parents (rightfully) upset?

And welcome back to the program. Let's go to the WRID talk line. We'll talk to Tonda in Spartanburg. Tonda, welcome. Hi. It's Charlie. Yes, ma'am. I did just have one thing to talk about. But since you've been talking, I have three things to talk about now. Alright. What you got? Okay. The EBT cards. Yeah. Years ago I mean, I just turned 60. And years ago when I was, like, 20, I worked at a large grocery store. And when they would come by with their EBT card, it wasn't just junk food, but they would buy, like, five, ten steaks that that cost way more than I could ever afford. Yeah. And I'm thinking, you know, why why is this, you know, even Permitted. Yeah. Permitted. Yeah. I know. I know how I trust me. I know. I've seen grocery cards full when I'm sitting there counting out change. Mhmm. It's not right. The same way. It's not right. It isn't. So The older people like me and my husband, we live on, limited income. Yeah. And then I tried one time to get food stamps, and I was only gonna be able to get $5. And I was like, well, I was like, $5. I was like, no. That's not even worth that. That would get you a pound of steak. I know. Right? Right? You're right. What else is on your mind, Tonda? Okay. The Greenville parking. Yeah. Okay. Spartanburg, they have pretty good parking, but I guess they'll they'll do what Greenville's doing. Sure. But, this baseball field, that they've created, you know, not everybody likes baseball, but they didn't even take any survey of, you know, what the citizens wanted. And they got rid of Spring Fling. They, they got rid of another, that thing that they had down in town that I can't remember it. Festival? And I might have Once county council, city council get something in their minds, it's hard. It's hard to get them to change their minds. It really is. That's that's why they spring these things on you at the last minute. Yeah. That's what they did. And, you know, right before spring fling, they said that's canceled because, you know, the ball field well, I don't like to go to the ball field. You know? Yeah. That's not and plus, I have a neighbor that said he went and things were ex really expensive, you know, to get anything to eat. So, even if I wanna go to the ball field, I wouldn't because, like I said, we're on a limited income. We can't do that kind of stuff. But we always like to go to Spring Fling and whatever else was downtown. Yeah. Well, now they don't have anything downtown. Tonda, running tight on time. Do you have another another comment? Yes. Lindsey Graham. Yes. He's gotta go. I'm sorry. I've lived here my whole life I know. You know, since, I was 30, I think. And, I I know. I feel the same way. Lot of people do. I appreciate it, Tonda. I wanna go to Christina, and talk to her. Christina, how are you? I'm okay. Alright. What's up? I have a question. Okay. Monday morning, Tara had on her show and she, verifies to the nth degree before she had stuff on. She had an audio and for all I know, I mean, it was actually for real people who have TVs that might have been audio and video. But she had an audio of an upper, level Metropolitan Police officer in DC describing in detail the prescribed manner of how the powers that be in the blue controlled cities, how they changed and and who knows? Are they still how they have been changing all of the reporting so that it does not go into the FBI crime statistics. Yeah. So my question Yeah. Is why has no one else on W 0 R D and and Mike Gallagher on Salem? How come this is such a a a significant thing? Why has no one else talked about that? I don't know where you've been, Christina, because that's pretty much all we've been talking about, how they're changing. We even played that clip, from from not not only the the metro police, but also the, the, police union leader, talking about how they've they've jerryed the books. Well, and they they say they'll be at a crime scene, and they were attempting to do their job. And here ...
I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies for amber waves of rain for purple mountain majesty America is back. Absolutely. America's back. We gotta get it back even more. I mean, we'd all know that I mean, just hundreds of arrests have already been made in Washington DC now that president Trump has federalized, the, the, police department there, the law enforcement in DC, and they are now they seem to be a little more brave. They seem to they seem to be a little more brave about what they're doing. We'll talk about that coming up in just a second. So we just got off the phone, with Brian Frank. Brian Frank was the guy that held the signs up at the Lindsey Graham event at the Beacon Theatre, and a lot of people lost their minds over this. You know, it was like a a retire Lindsey and dump Lindsey and things like that. Joining us right now is Jason Shamus, the mayor of Campobello. Let me see if I can get him on the phone here. Jason, welcome, sir. How are you? Hey, Charlie. How are you? I'm doing fantastic. Now you were at the Beacon Restaurant, and you're telling me that Brian Frank's story just doesn't quite jive? No. I'm at well, I'd like Lindsey and I. I went there to to meet some other folks over there to to be at Lindsey Graham, event. Yeah. But like Lindsey or Dot, I mean, you really shouldn't be doing those kinds of things. So I was standing there, and you could see them behind the glass. Brian and Evan Molch talking and and collaborating, and he would go outside and put signs up. The police would take him back in. I mean and they were harassing folks as they were coming out. I mean, there's really no room for politics like that. You know, we always talk about, you know, we want a bigger voter turnout and those things. You saw that in the sheriff's race. Yeah. 11% of the people showed up. So do you think those kinds of actions are going to boost voter turnout? Absolutely not. Because most people don't wanna deal with that kind of rhetoric. You know? And I like Lindsay or not, at the end of the day, Trump has endorsed him. Trump doesn't endorse him for just no reason. Obviously, there there's a a really good reason why Trump wants it there. It's because he can get the Trump agenda American First done. That's why he wants them. So why would we put a freshman back in congress that is it's gonna have to learn all this from the get go. I I understand that, you know, I I'm not saying I agree with everything that Lindsey does. I know there's a lot of people that don't agree with Lindsey. But but why would you take one of the most prolific, presidents in US history and put a freshman in there when president Trump is saying, I want Lindsey? Well, I say I well, I in in my opinion, since you brought it up, I think Donald Trump just needs Lindsey Graham to pass all of his nominees. Yes. Right? I mean, I I don't disagree with that. But would you want a freshman in that spot? Well, I'll be honest with you, mister mayor. I would want somebody in that spot that wasn't gonna stab me on the back on NBC every chance he gets. I I don't I don't disagree with that. I don't disagree with that. However and then again, I I don't I'm not saying I support Lindsay with everything he does. But specifically talking to the Beacon and what happened at the Beacon, these people that are holding up signs and doing those kinds of things, you know, they're they're saying I'm Christian Christian values. Now if you're looking at that, does that say I'm for Christian values? Does that say that I'm a Christian and I'm walking like Jesus? Well, I mean, but why so let's go to that. Was there anything there that was, I don't know, obscene? Is was there anything there that wasn't I don't know. You you tell me you were there. I just don't I mean, if I just don't understand why you would d ...

Yeah. 11% of the people showed up. So do you think those kinds of actions are going to boost voter turnout? Absolutely not. Because most people don't wanna deal with that kind of rhetoric. You know? And I if I'm not, at the end of the day, Trump has endorsed him. Trump has endorsed him for just no reason. Obviously, there there's a a really good reason why Trump wants him there. It's because he can get the Trump agenda America first done. That's why he wants them. So why would we put a freshman back in congress that is is gonna have to learn all this from the get go? Well, I mean, but alright. So let's go to that. Was there anything there that was, I don't know, obscene? Is was there anything there that wasn't I don't know. You you tell me. You were there. I just don't I mean, if I just don't understand why you would do that if somebody else's account. I m ...
Lots of folks on the phone. Let's go to Todd and Anderson. How are you doing, Todd? I'm doing good, sir. Yes, sir. What's on your mind? So the question is is has anybody asked Donald Trump why he supports Lindsey Graham? I don't think anybody has. No. Yeah. I mean, we all we all remember what Donald Trump said about, you know, Lindsey Graham at, in Pickens that he helps with the Democrats, and I don't know how you help with the Democrats if you're a solid conservative. Exactly. And then the the mayor from wherever was talking about how we don't want a new guy in there. Trump is the new guy in there. Exactly. We don't want a him. We don't want a freshman president. Right? Right. Yeah. Exactly. But how do we invoke change if we don't get new people in? Man, we just we gotta some of us have gotta start putting our name in, and then we gotta start showing up at the polls and supporting these people. That's a big thing. Showing up and and getting out there and voting. I appreciate it. Todd, let's go to Mike in Greenville. Mike, what's on your mind? Yes, Charlie. I just wanted to comment on the mayor of Capobello and his statements. I would not know him from Wild Rice if he walked in front of me. Okay. But I will say this, that I'm gonna give this credit to Tara Servation. Alright. The only reason that Trump supports Lindsey Graham is Lindsey Graham is head of the budget committee in the senate. Yeah. He has to have him to get that passed. He also has to have his votes to get his people nominated and through the process. Yeah. Lindsey Graham I am I am loosely related to Lindsey Graham by marriage, and he is a terrible human being. As far as signs, listen. I would put a 12 year old in that senate because just like my 12 year old, all I wanna hear out of his mouth is yes, sir. That's all you need to say. Yes, mister president. That's it. I said that. All you need to hear out of him. Exactly. We have to have fighters. We don't need beta males in the senate or anywhere in our government. So the mayor of Campobello, I get his point. I understand. But it sounds like to me he's an establishment guy. He's status quo, and we need fighters. We need men that'll stand up and women that'll stand up, and that's what we want. I live in Lindsey Graham's district. I I know him well. Yeah. He is a snake in the grass. He goes whichever way the wind blows and who's got the wallet out. And that's how it is. A lot of people do it. I appreciate it, Mike. Now let's talk to the speaker of the house of the sovereign state of Jamestown, JR. How you doing, JR? Oh, it's another JR. It's not that JR. I got two JRs. JR, welcome. You're out there in Possum Kingdom. What's going on, man? Hey. Yeah. This is JR. I was gonna I was gonna holler at you. Oh, Lindsey. Here, every every time he comes up for reelection, he always does the same thing. He wants to say that no one else needs to go in there because they wouldn't know how to get things done. Right. And he proves time and time again that he don't know how to get things done or better yet, he does. Like, here a while back when he pushed that abortion bill and ruined us in the midterms Yeah. Lindsay. Yeah. He knows what he's doing, and he knew it wasn't gonna fly, but he just had to mark that box on his full check list. You're exactly right, JR. And let's not forget that. Lindsey Graham was the one that came out and said, no. No. Abortion needs to be a federal issue. Wait a minute. What was the president saying? What was Trump saying? It needs to be a state's issue, not a federal issue. Lindsey Graham was like, let's let's do this as a because he knew that had the potential of hurting Trump. Lindsey Graham also said that no better person has God ever created than Joe Biden. And if you've got a problem with Joe Biden, you need to do some self reflection. But I think the most interesting thing that Lindsey Graham has ever said was this. It wasn't peaceful. I was there. If it had been up to me, ...
Alright. I wanna read you a story. This comes from 05/13/2024. It's from the Center for Immigration Studies. Again, this is 05/13/2024. Foreign born population grew by 5,100,000 in the last two years. Largest two year increase ever recorded. The foreign born immigration population hit new records as of March 2024 of fifty one point six million and 15.6%, 15.6% of the total US population. Okay? Now that was from May 2024. They did that study, compiled it, got it all together. Foreign born population grew by 5,100,000, basically, under Joe Biden. Well, here we are in 2025, little over a year later, and quite the opposite has happened. Overall foreign born population is down 2,200,000 from January to July. 2,200,000. That's a trend I can get behind. I wanna talk to Brian from Gaffney. Brian, you were at the event with Lindsey Graham? Yes, sir, Charlie. I went there, last week. I promised I'd take my wife out to eat for lunch Yeah. About a week ago. And this is before I I I knew I was to be off work. This is before I knew Lindsey Graham would be there. Right. And once I found out Lindsey Graham would be there, I decided that's where we're going. Oh, wait a minute. Hold on. This are you the Brian? Yes, sir. I am. You are the Brian. So can I say your name? Yeah. Brian Franks. Brian Franks. There you go. Alright. There you go. You were the guy that had the signs. Right? Yes, sir. I made them at home. So why why did you so tell us the whole story. What was all that about? Well, I made them, not to go in there into his rally with those signs. I made them, and I put them all over my car, taped them to outside of my window, all four windows, the back and the front. And I wanted to park by the road so other people can see. Right. But I wasn't wearing anything inappropriate or anything anti Graham when I went in there. And when I got to the door, Lindsey Graham's people would not let me in. They would not. They said it was a pry private, gathering. You're not you can't you're not welcome. I said, what do you mean? This is public. I heard it on the radio. It's public. And I found out the reason why is I am one of the admins on the dump Lindsey Graham 2026 Facebook page. Were you were you wearing the dump Lindsey hat when you walked in? No. I was wearing my Disney hat, actually. Okay. And I got I got the Dump Lindsey hat from a friend of mine once I got there. So did you who who was the well, I don't wanna know the name, but there was a guy there that got his picture taken. He had that cap on backwards, and on the back of it, it said That was me. That was you? Okay. Okay. Alright. So you did get in? Yes. I I I didn't get in the part where he was speaking. Okay. I tried to get in there before Lindsay even showed up, and his people recognized me because I run the Facebook, dump Lindsey Graham 2026 page. Me and a few other guys started it in 02/2007, and I kept not having to change the year over the last several years. Yeah. We wanna dump them. So you got you got you did not get a welcomed response from Lindsey Graham's people? I did not. I did give one of my signs to a fellow I met in the area I was in eating at the Beacon, and he got behind Lindsay with the cameras behind, that were pointing at him. And then I I went to my car, and I grabbed two more signs that I got behind Lindsay at the cameras. And I was told by the officer to please leave this area. Ah, I guess because you were behind them in security issues and all of that according to them. I was behind I was behind the window. Yeah. So the window was right behind Lindsey Graham, and I wanted the cameras to see because I knew the news was there. Yeah. So, what is the response been from what because we know that, you know, some folks over there, Nate Loype, has spoken out against your your actions. Several other people have. How do you feel? Was this just a freedom of speech issue? It is. And, Lindsey Graham, we've been wanting to get rid of him, and I know I know ...

Our August break is continuing with a replay of one of our favorite chats we've ever recorded. This one is really fun. Over the next few weeks we'll be re-sharing conversations with some of our favorite guests as they share their stories of independence, integrity, information, inspiration and definitely impact. We're kicking the series off with a conversation with comedy legend Sam Bee. And if you're a Lindsey Graham fan, this one is not for you. Recorded live from the Manhattan Classic Car Club back in 2019, this episode is a candid, no-holds-barred conversation with one of America's most important voices in comedy and journalism. As you'd expect, Sam doesn't hold back, delivering a blistering critique of the administration, the politicians who enable it, and the moral compromises being made in Washington to placate Trump. Sound familiar? This episode is a look back at 2019 when we were just getting started. America's got a long and shameful history with eugenics, and, while history doesn't repeat itself, it rhymes. In this podcast interview, Martin Armstrong provides a critical geopolitical analysis of current global tensions, focusing on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and potential escalation towards World War III. Armstrong argues that the 50-day deadline imposed by Trump is an unrealistic negotiation tactic that fundamentally misunderstands geopolitical dynamics. Armstrong suggests that Ukraine is on the verge of collapse and that NATO's interventionist strategies are deliberately provocative. He criticizes neoconservative influences, particularly figures like Lindsey Graham and John McCain, for consistently pushing for military confrontation without understanding the long-term consequences. He highlights how these interventions have historically failed, citing examples from Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The discussion emphasizes the economic implications of ongoing tensions, with Armstrong predicting a steep recession lasting until 2028. He argues that sanctions against Russia have accelerated the formation of BRICS and are driving countries to seek alternative economic arrangements. The movement of gold and capital away from traditional Western financial centers is seen as a significant indicator of these shifts. Armstrong is particularly critical of European leadership, describing them as the "worst crop of world leaders" in history. He points out the economic challenges facing Germany and the broader European Union, including capital controls and increasing governmental restrictions on financial movements. Regarding potential conflict, Armstrong warns that Putin is unlikely to capitulate and that the current strategies risk escalating into a broader global confrontation. He suggests that the financial capital of the world will likely move to China after 2032, drawing parallels with the historical decline of Athens due to internal polarization and continuous warfare. The interview concludes with a stark warning about the potential for significant geopolitical and economic disruption, with Armstrong emphasizing that the current trajectory benefits no one and risks triggering a catastrophic global conflict.
