Well hello there everyone and welcome back to another episode of Trophy Talk. In this our second to last episode of 2024, the crew has all assembled together to chat about the games that have been grabbing our attention during the final weeks of the calendar year. And what an exciting end of year it's turning out to be with the game awards announcements, PSN Wrap Ups, and new games still releasing at a steady clip. 2024 will undoubtedly go down as a great year in gaming for many of us. However, while we were intending to talk about our official PS wrap ups during this episode, at the time of recording the roll out of the year in review feature was experiencing significant delays and issues, with most people unable to actually access it as intended on December 10th. The end result is that most of this episode is spent discussing Patreon submitted questions, plat shout outs, and Rage God mentions from our Discord. There's nothing wrong with that though, not in the least, as celebrating this community that we've built and the accomplishments that you all have had is one of the best parts about making Trophy Talk episodes. Topics include, what would change in our trophy hunting habits if we got banned from PSN Profiles, what game we think Trump would be an excellent commentator of, and what movie released this year would have had a great opportunity for a tie in AA game. In terms of our individual hunts and successes, Darryl talks up and praises his time on PS Extra this year with two more titles, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and Killer Frequency. All the while, Josh continues his vole exterminations while also taking time to become incredibly proficient at a tough rhythm game Spin Rhythm XD. Finally, Colin takes some time to discuss one of his favorite ever GameCube era games in Time Splitters 2. We hope that you all enjoy the content and the episode, thank you for listening!

Xbox sigue en su alza con noticias negativas, menuda rachita llevamos este año... pero bueno, se subirá el precio de Game Pass pero no restan las ganas de jugar a Avowed, Indiana Jones, Fable y compañía. Nintendo está en modo juguetona con el tema de quién es Emio, a ver si sabemos que quieren contar y otro temita a tener en cuenta es Bioshock 4 y su imagen filtrada ¿Es real? ¿Es mentira? ¿Es otro juego cancelado? Queda la última bala del No-E3 o E3n't; la de Nintendo. Pero antes hay algunos titulares que dar y casi todos protagonizados por Ubisoft y EA. La primera tuvo su clásica presentación veraniega; con protagonistas como Star Wars Outlaws y Assassin's Creed Shadows, dos títulos esperadísimos y que pudimos ver bastante cosita. Eso sí, lo del teaser de Prince of Persia ¿Por qué? EA y Bioware parece que convencen, dentro de lo que cabe, con la cuarta entrega de la saga tan vitoreada y galardonada del estudio -con permiso de Mass Effect- y verlo en movimiento despejan muchas dudas negativas. Nintendo, en cuanto se publique este podcast aproximadamente, ya debería habernos emplazados a la tarde del martes. De no ser así, reclamad que os lleváis un premio. De verdad. Así que tocará hablar de ella la próxima semana. Tom Warren también ha dado una pildorita que, de ser cierta, sería la mayor bomba para un año 2025 inolvidable para Xbox. Por otro, también comentamos brevemente los juegos del PS+ Extra y Premium; nada reseñable. Xbox is entering the VR space by partnering with Meta to create a limited-edition Meta Quest headset bundle - this news comes to us as apart of Meta's recent announcement that they will be powering third-party headset makers such as Lenovo and Asus. Fallout fever has gone and got us down! The Prime Video show has ignited a flurry of Fallout popularity resulting in Fallout 76 hitting one million players in a single day and a surge of players on Fallout 3, 4, New Vegas, and Shelter. Even we've been playing Fallout 76 again in anticipation of the new update that's already in the PTS! The much anticipated Fallout 4 next-gen update has finally come out...and in typical Bethesda style has been suffering from a collection of issues. On PS5 some users can't even claim a free copy if they own it via PS Plus (a bug that is being addressed for PS Extra and (maybe) PS Plus Collection owners), Xbox users are having issues with the update's capabilities only having a 60fps mode with no 4k resolution...and PC users are having a myriad of random issues including missing textures and some guns firing stop signs instead of projectiles.

Repaso a 3 de los títulos que he estado jugando en las últimas semanas. 3 juegos que encarecidamente recomiendo y que realmente me han gustado. El exclusivo de Sony Horizon Forbidden West, secuela del aclamado Zero Dawn que nos lleva de vuelta a un mundo post-apocaliptico gobernado por tribus y máquinas. Shadow Warrior 3, un shooter en primera persona gamberro y sin demasiadas ambiciones pero satisfactorio y divertido en su ejecución. Y Metro Exodus, la última entrega de la franquicia que está disponible para jugar con la suscripción PS Extra en su versión mejorada para PS5, una experiencia inmersiva.

PS+ Extra por fin ha llegado, el "game pass" de Sony, con bastantes titulos de lanzamiento.
