The Deep State Runs Deep. Mike Morrell, former Deputy Director at the CIA, now admits he got some 50 ex spies to write the letter slamming Hunter Biden laptop report as 'Russian disinformation' to help Joe Biden win the election. And it gets worse. You're not going to believe WHO asked Morrell to orchestrate the letter. Remember: this same cast of spooks and political hacks not only wanted America to think that the Biden laptop was FAKE, they also wanted America to think the so-called "Trump Dossier" was REAL. And you wonder why Americans have no faith in government right now? As Donald Trump soars past all others in a brand new WSJ poll, one must wonder: will the same group of intelligence professionals in the Democrat Party once again prevent Americans from knowing the truth? Trump is the front runner for Republicans amid growing frustration with Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is embroiled in a massive brawl with Disney...and, a growing number of conservatives are questioning his motives. The transgender scandal is consuming Youtube with parents worrying their children may become 'indocrinated' as the trans issue is a new theme in popular shows. Cast in point? The world's most popular YouTube star is a 24 year old named "Mr Beast". (His real name is Jimmy Donaldson.) Mr Beast has built a $500 million empire around his schtick as a regular guy hanging out with his regular guy friends and doing incredible things. Well, one of those guys... Chris Tyson...is now, Christina. It could be a big problem for the business (unless, of course, Bud Light is the sponsor) but, the bigger concern for the conservative community is how the show will play with kids. Bud Light shares continue their stuggle. On Friday, shares of Anheuser-Busch closed nearly flat, while shares of Bud's rival Molsen Coors rallied again. So, while AB Inbev has lost billions in market cap since the Dylan Mulvaney promotion became know earlier this month, Bud's rival keeps seeing a higher share price. I'll explain what's going on. And - yes - Biden's woke agenda comes with financial penalites for hard working Americans that pay their bills on time. A new Biden plan begins May 1st and will result in people with more than 680 on their credit score paying an additional fee of an estimated $40 per month to secure a home loan. The Biden admnistration is doing this to help offset the costs of borrowers with bad credit scores. Sounds a little like Venezuela-style economics to me! All that said - you still need to pay your bills on time which is why I'm thrilled to welcome Rachel Cruz on the program today. Rachel is the daughter of financial planning guru Dave Ramsey and a financial planning and budget expert herself. She's the author of several books and host of The Rachel Cruz Show. What are your thoughts about investing in yourself and your health? How do you overcome the mental barriers you have when it comes to spending money on yourself and your well-being? It's so important to be open to seeing that you're worth whatever you need in your life and to be able to receive it openly and graciously. In this world of managing breast cancer, we all know that treatments, therapies, and support come with an expensive price tag. So, we need to allow ourselves to explore all the options and not close ourselves off to therapies that could support us because of the dollar amount attached to them. The universe is rich and abundant, and we never know what may be available to us. Some of us don't have financial resources on hand, but some of us do and still choose not to use them on for self-care and support. This is a common mindset that we need to shift. Sometimes we need to prioritize ourselves and our health over other things. We need to adopt the thinking of "I deserve this" and "I am worth this." just as we would tell a loved one in need. Investing in ourselves and our health is not a selfish act but a necessary one. Listen now and start embracing your worthiness today. Ever feel over-scheduled, over-committed and over-tired in today's world? That we do so much, yet somehow, feel we're not doing enough? Christy Wright, bestselling author of Take Back Your Time and host of The Christy Wright Show, is an expert in cultivating balance, ditching distractions and prioritizing what actually matters. If you or someone you know is seeking a guilt-free tool to cut out what doesn't matter, prioritize the things that do and take back your time and your life, this episode is for you. SHOW NOTES: "Making it" because of struggle: Growing up, how Christy's mom launched a small bakery business was pivotal in teaching character, integrity, persistence and work ethic her formative years. Before becoming a speaker full-time with Ramsey, Christy said "yes" before knowing how and stepped in for Rachel Cruz while she was a project manager. "Some of the most incredible career opportunities are not positions that are posted but problems that are solved." - Sheryl Sandburg "If you wait until you have success to commit, you'll have neither. You have to commit before you have success." - Seth Godin What if "balance" isn't so much what you do but something you create + become in your life? Life balance is not doing everything for an equal amount of time. It's about doing the right things at the right times. Start doing what matters, stop doing what doesn't matter in today's season. "If we are not careful we will spend our entire lives checking boxes and never stopping to ask ourselves if those boxes represent anything actually worth doing." Create an ideal schedule. Take your current calendar and a blank calendar: Move over the things you have to do. Move over the things you want to do. Add whatever is missing. "We judge others by everything they do and we judge ourselves by everything we don't do." Money. It’s a topic that makes us squirm. But why? Money itself is neutral. The problem is when it becomes an idol or when we look to it to afford us a certain lifestyle. But the truth is, money has a subtle way of captivating our hearts. We need to be mindful of how we’re relating to it! We go to Scripture to find counsel in how to handle our money in a way that glorifies God. We are also joined by Rachel Cruz who offers us practical tips on how we should approach our money. Is comparison stealing joy in your life? So Rachel Cruz's episode from 2018 is one of the most downloaded episodes for the Mom Inspired Show so I am kicking off December "Best Of" with her episode. If you missed it the first time around I know you will enjoy this. If you have already heard this episode, I find when you listen to something more than once you learn different things since you are in a different phase of life than when you first heard it! Rachel and I discuss everything from how comparison is killing us, and that social media makes it super easy to to feel like we don’t have enough! Do you ever find yourself scrolling through social media wishing you had a different house, maybe you feel like you are the only one that doesn’t go on vacations as much as you like or have fabulous friends? Rachel shares with us that she too can fall into this trap. She shares a story about coming home from a vacation and then getting on social media to find someone that she follows on Instagram on vacation and feeling like she is missing out, yet she just got home from a vacation! We also talk about saving money so that you can have the life that you truly want. One story that stood out to me was when Rachel was talking about saving for college and how expensive it can be to send your kids. She shares with us that college is a blessing not an entitlement and if you are not able to pay for your kids college that doesn’t make you a bad parent! Hear what she says about this topic and more on the podcast. Meet Rachel Cruz, an easy going, successful trans woman who has a lot to say about her life and experiences. Listen in as she shares her insight on her gender transition and also tells us a little but about her career as a DJ.
This episode, we have Kris' cousins Rachel and Brandon on! We talk about Chads and how Ethan's elementary school experience was different than ours. We also react to a Reddit post about poopy socks. And of course, we talk about how Kris' TikTok recently went viral. Hosted by Ralph Ramos (@rlphrmos2) Featuring Ryan Tocheri (@rytoc12) Ethan Zuchkan (@EZuchkan) Marina Yap (@anirampay) Kristoffer Bradley Cruz (@krisbradleycruz) Rachel Cruz (@rxchelcruz) Brandon Ramirez (@bjrr12) Edited by Kristoffer Bradley Cruz
Like a modern day siren, Rachel lures her listeners in with haunting melodies and a soulful voice. Once entranced, she takes her captives on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment guiding them safely through the storms and shipwrecks of life. There is a saying that, “Stars are made, not born,” and that couldn’t be more true for this actress, singer, dancer. Talk about a triple threat! Music, dance and acting have always been a part of this starlet’s life. Brought up in the entertain- ment industry, Rachel has grown up around music, theater, film and dance! From the tender age of 3, she has been dancing, eventually becoming a professional hula dancer, competing in the top hula competitions and traveling the world enchanting international audiences. It was actually thanks to her dancing abilities that she was introduced to the television and film industry. She was asked to dance in commercials for companies like Hawaiian Airlines, in televised parades like Disney World’s Winter Parade, for major televised events like The International Children’s Festival sharing the stage with the Sesame Street Gang and even at major football games like the Pro-Bowl for four years. All this before she was even thirteen years old! It was around this age that she discovered her gift, passion and love for music! Engrossed with the rhythmic vibes of her culture, this Hawaiian Native began playing the ukulele, eventually writing her own lyrics and melodies. Though her creativity was heavily influenced by her island home, her taste in music con- trasted the happy and light-hearted sounds of the islands. Instead, she found solace in artists like P!nk, Evanescence and Adele who’s music mirrored the hardships and realities she faced in her own life. Behind the lights, cameras and smiles, Rachel was haunted by traumas and abuses she’d been going through for years. Welcome to Episode 41 of the Mommy Daddy Time Podcast!!!In this episode, we have a conversation about sex that no one else is having. We brought in a very special guest this week. Caitlin Zick and her husband cole are the leaders of the Moral Revolution Podcast and ministry based in Redding California. Moral Revolution is a company of radicals helping to define healthy sexuality.A lot of marriages struggle with sex. In fact, it's one of the top 3 reasons marriages fail! The struggle with sex is not limited to certain groups, ages, or even past experiences. It's something that ALL couples have to work on and be intentional within their marriage. The worst part is, more often than not, the one place that should be talking about sex (the church) is often silent or vague. So what happens when couples are left without answers to the real questions they have about sex? What happens when couples don't have people they can turn to and openly talk about their sex issues? Well, things don't get better. In fact they often get worse. But, it doesn't have to be this way. The truth is, you don't have to keep struggling alone in your marriage with sex. Cole and Caitlin Zick have an incredible story where they share what sex was like when they first got married. SPOILER ALERT!!! It was not the rolling in the sheets, hot-n-heavy, Hollywood movie kind of honeymoon that often gets portrayed. In fact, it was anything but. Confused, distraught, and feeling defeated they took matters into their own hands and did something that even surprised us! In this episode, you'll finally hear an honest conversation about sex and marriage. + What happens when sex is something you don't enjoy? + Can a couple still be happy without orgasms?+ How does sex change after kids?+ What do we need to change in our sex life in order to have a happy marriage?+ A LOT MORE!!!**WARNING** This episode may not be suitable for all audiences. If you normally listen with young ears, this is an episode you will want to filter through first! You shouldn't have to struggle with sex in your marriage. There is incredible hope out there if you do find yourself struggling with sex in your marriage. This episode will give you hope, healing, encouragement, and laughter. You will know you're not alone and there is a community of people you can turn to for help. We hope you like, subscribe, and share this episode with the people in your life. Welcome to episode 40 of the Mommy Daddy Time Podcast. This week, Kristy sits down and answers questions about what life has been like for her as we've navigated the waters of not having a job for the past 6 months. Kristy talks about her real fears, the mental battle, and also the spiritual battle that takes place moment by moment and how she overcomes them. She also describes what it was like at the moment she found out that Eric was about to lose his job and there was no plan in place for getting a new one. From the practical logistics to the emotional and spiritual responses, Kristy gets very real and very vulnerable as a wife, mom, and Enneagram 8 in this episode. This episode, more than many others, will make you feel like you're sitting down in the kitchen with us for a deep dive into the realities of going without a job, hustling for work, providing for a family, and facing some real fears in identity. If you or someone you know has gone through the loss of a job or is in one now, share this episode with them. They will be encouraged, filled with hope, and love that they aren't the only ones going through the range of emotions. Want to get exclusive content no one else gets? Obviously. Because friends are the ones you can laugh with, get angry with (as in alongside :)), make bracelets with, start podcasts with, and so much more! Friendship leads to so many great things - try it today! Friendship; the best kind of ship. Notable Notes: What the Internet has to say: This article from Living Well Spending Less gives tips on how to maintain friendships while becoming debt free! What Jen and Jill have to say: Refine how you spend time with others. Good rule of thumb: “If a night out on the town for the two of you costs more than the GDP of a small country, it’s time to scale back your quality time.” Have a heart-to-heart - explain your goals to your friends and how this may impact relationship and make suggestions for how to spend quality time together going forward! Make hard decisions. We like this quote: “You should never kick a friend to the curb over money. However, if you are tempted to overspend or go into debt merely by having a relationship with someone else, you may want to identify whether or not you’re allowing a friend to have too much power over your finances and life.” More from the Internet: This article from Our Next Life takes a different look on this topic and discusses how to build a frugal community, and make new friends based on the common ground of frugality! More from Jen and Jill: We like the tip to look for thematically appropriate meet-ups Send signals through your actions - by living frugally you will most likely attract like-minded individuals BILL OF THE WEEK - Thank you Amarylis for sharing your bill with us! If you want to submit your bill of the week visit frugalfriendspodcast.com/bill to leave us a bill Lightning Round We thought it was important to offer four ways to lose friends and make enemies! 1. Assume they don’t care about their finances - don’t ask them, just assume that because they spend money, it’s not because they feel overwhelmed by their finances, but rather they just don’t care 2. Shame them when they make a purchase you don’t approve of - don’t consider you probably would have made the same purchase several weeks ago, just let everyone know you wouldn’t do it now. 3. Talk only about Dave Ramsey - seriously, only topics from the latest radio show, book, Financial Peace University class, that’s it. Occasionally you can mention Rachel Cruz or Chris Hogan but don’t go crazy. 4. Only advertise your successes - Did you bust your budget? Did an unexpected expense cut your student loan payment? DON’T TELL ANYONE. Only post on social media about how well you’re doing and that God is obviously smiling on you because of your choice to become financially secure Frugal Friends Book Club: We’re finishing up The Soul of Money by Lynne Twist for book club! In this episode of Beyond the Sectors, Chelsea and Ana lovingly dissect Bren & Six, the cage-matches, the trauma, there-is-more-to-life-than-revenge tropes, flawed found family dynamics and the collision between the political and relational storylines as the O'Kanes try to unravel what has gone wrong in Sector Three. Bren has been guiding and training Six as she gets to know the O'Kanes, face her past and learn to trust and hope again, but when a villain from his past re-surfaces his need for revenge exposes cracks in his relationships with the gang and almost destroys his relationship with Six. Listen as we discuss Bren and Six's relationships with their pasts, their kinks, the gang and each other in Beyond Pain. Also mentioned in this episode are some of the future leads, Noah, Emma, Mad, Scarlet, Ace, Rachel & Cruz including a discussion of Ace's role in helping Six understand Bren's desire and need for pain. Books mentioned: The Gideon's Riders Series, Beyond Jealousy (4), Beyond Ruin (7), Beyond Temptation (3.5) We also allude to Beyond Doubt -- Bren and Six's post-HEA #OkaneforLife story.
With a qualification in veterinary bio science, Rachel Cruz thought that she had her future all mapped out, but after starting down that career path and missing the customer service elements of her part-time job selling shoes, she realised that she needed a more people focused career. In this episode of Quit the 9-to-5 with Ben Handler, Rachel shares how, after a friend suggested that she try real estate, she found her calling. She discusses the transition into the property sector, how and why she then moved from the sales side of the business into the property buying side and talks about some of the challenges she met along the way. Rachel reminisces about her first client and explains where she plans to take her career going forward while Ben reveals the skills that make a good buyer's agent.
You guys, I can't believe this is the 100th episode! With that, I thought it would be great to have Rachel Cruz on the show to talk about her book Loving Your Life, Not Theirs! Rachel and I discuss everything from how comparison is killing us, and that social media makes it super easy to to feel like we don't have enough! Do you ever find yourself scrolling through social media wishing you had a different house, maybe you feel like you are the only one that doesn't go on vacations as much as you like or have fabulous friends? Rachel shares with us that she too can fall into this trap. She shares a story about coming home from a vacation and then getting on social media to find someone that she follows on Instagram on vacation and feeling like she is missing out, yet she just got home from a vacation! We also talk about saving money so that you can have the life that you truly want. One story that stood out to me was when Rachel was talking about saving for college and how expensive it can be to send your kids. She shares with us that college is a blessing not an entitlement and if you are not able to pay for your kids college that doesn't make you a bad parent! Hear what she says about this topic and more on the podcast.
