If you, or anyone you know is dealing with thoughts of suicide, contact the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or https://988lifeline.org/ Feeling the shame of relapsing on drugs, and struggling with the sexual abuse of her past, Nancy went to an affirming therapist to help her deal with her soul-crushing depression. She told her therapist that she had this desire to be a man - which the therapist was ready for. She also told the therapist that she wanted to explore why she might want to be a man - which question couldn't even fit into the therapist's realm of cognition. Instead of exploring the question Nancy posted, the therapist began to insist that it came from a place of hidden transphobia from her childhood. This caused her to spiral further into depression. Her journey out from her depression is miraculous and encouraging. Nancy Charles is an ex member of the LGBTQ community who had a miraculous conversion to Christ through finding and praying the rosary at one of the darkest moments in her life. She now leads a life of chastity and shares her story to help reach others who struggle with same sex attraction and believing in God. Nancy carried a grudge against her parents for years. They didn't help her or take her to therapy. They didn't accept her as a part of the family. To boot, they got divorced. And as far back as when she was 6 she felt like she didn't fit in, almost anywhere. To top it all off, she could recall having her first same sex attraction to her teacher in the 3rd grade. For years she identified as a lesbian and lived that lifestyle, until she came to a realization about all of these issues with her own life and with her parents: it started when she was sexually abused as a very young child. The trauma in her life had led her down the path she was on. Along her healing journey, she discovered that much of the anger she felt at her parents was misplaced and that they had worked to help her heal. Nancy Charles explains the first half of her story with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse on episode 243 of the Dr. J show. Nancy Charles is an ex member of the LGBTQ community who had a miraculous conversion to Christ through finding and praying the rosary at one of the darkest moments in her life. She now leads a life of chastity and shares her story to help reach others who struggle with same sex attraction and believing in God. Consider this: there is a concerted effort to shape our children's minds, to feed them a perception of truth that could be detrimental to their mental health. That's the stark reality we'll be confronting today in our compelling discussion with Tom Hampson. Together, we'll unpack the pervasive ideologies undermining the education standards, giving rise to a disconcerting cultural revolution. We're diving headfirst into the murky waters of educational influence, with a particular spotlight on the subtle yet powerful pull of the American Communist Party.Pivoting away from political indoctrination, we'll also be exploring the aftershocks of the sexual revolution on our national sex education standards. It's high time we scrutinized the teaching of critical theory to children, its inherent dangers and its contribution to mental illness. We'll be dissecting the concept of 'sex ed for social change,' posing the question: Should schools be the primary educators about sex? This is a conversation we all need to be a part of, for the sake of our children's future. So, buckle up and join us as we wade through these critical issues.Coming soon: Tom and Jack's weekly show "Stolen Innocence" on Rumble:How many children must be sacrificed at the altar of "Woke" before we "Awaken"? Can you imagine a world where we truly understood the divine design of our bodies and the profound purpose of our creation? That's the journey we're embarking on in today's episode as we delve into the heart of St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body. Unveiling the truths found in these 129 lectures, we connect our human experiences to the Gospel, shedding light on our creation as male and female, and the eternal quest for true love and fulfillment. Join us as we appreciate the beauty of the Mass and the powerful symbolism of Jesus taking on a human body to bridge the gap between humanity and God.Ever wondered about the havoc wreaked when we lose touch with our true selves? We're diving into that chaos in this episode, dissecting the destruction caused by contemporary gender ideologies that distort our understanding of being created male and female. This isn't about molding ourselves into 'holy little people'; it's about embodying the majesty and fragrance of "Life in the Spirit." By embracing purity and virtue, we open our hearts to the Spirit, who sets us free from the chains Pride and lust. Experience the transformative power of the Ruah, the breath of God, that expands our boundaries and propels us towards the heavens.Lastly, we turn our attention to the gifts of purity and piety from the Holy Spirit, and how they reaffirm God's design for our bodies as male and female. We scrutinize how prevalent gender ideologies mock the dignity of men and women, leading to a disconnect from our true selves and birthing societal chaos. Reflecting on St Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 6, we ponder on the sanctity of joining ourselves to the Lord, becoming one with him - the ultimate sacramental sign of purity. Gazing at the fiery orb of the sun, its splendor always reminds me of the divine beauty and bounty that God bestows upon us. Despite the strife and evil man brings into the world, I find solace and peace in prayer, a practice as natural and life-sustaining as breathing itself. I'm Jack Rigert, your host, and today, I am eager to share my reflections on the power of prayer and how its absence can lead us to seek fulfillment in finite worldly things, triggering insatiable desires. Our hearts, you see, are made for the infinite, and it's only through the divine connection of prayer that we can truly flourish. Have you ever yearned for something so deeply, you could feel it in your bones? That's the thirst we all carry for God. In this discourse, we will delve into how prayer is the meeting point of God's thirst for us and our thirst for Him. We'll explore the profound plea of Jesus to the Samaritan woman, and the wisdom in the Catechism. Join me as I share my personal journey to faith, and how my early interest in philosophy led to the discovery of truth. Unless you look out at creation with a sacramental lens to discover with awe and wonder what these icons are pointing us to discover, you run the danger of living like a Cut-Flower, disconnected from the Source of all that we discover through our senses. What we see, smell, hear and taste…what are they telling us about this mystery of life and love? In the Lord of the Rings, Sam Gamgee, devoted friend of Frodo…about half way through their perilous journey says, “I wonder what sort of tale we've fallen into?”There is nothing more mystical, beautiful and filled with awe and wonder then when we SEE it through the sacramental lens. This includes the human body, especially human sexuality, created male and female, expressed in and through the body…”I wonder what sort of tale we've fallen into?”…what am I experiencing through my senses and it seems in touches upon a very deep place, the core of my being, the HEART. Something important is going on here, a perennial attraction to the woman and her femininity for the man, attraction to the man, and his masculinity, for the woman. Join Jack and Linda for Audience #55 presented by Pope John Paul II on February 4, 1981."Every day the power of "Man and Woman He Created Them, a Theology of the Body"...the great body of work that John Paul II began to share almost as soon as he became Pope, becomes more relevant for our time."--JackDon't forget to sign up for our Newsletter!! We hear ad nauseam about the need for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. What's really behind this constant barrage of propaganda? Joining me today is former undercover crime investigator and author Thomas Hampson to unpack his recent article Pride Month . Tom writes:In his proclamation creating what has become known simply as Pride Month, President Clinton made this comment:“America's diversity is our greatest strength. But, while we have come a long way on our journey toward tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect, we still have a long way to go in our efforts to end discrimination.”What's interesting is the use of the phrase “diversity is our greatest strength.” It is a concept that has been around for many years but became popularized during the nineties, especially in business publications.Several books and articles focused on what made for success and failure in the business world. Researchers determined that diverse teams were better at innovation, creativity, problem-solving, decision-making, and meeting the challenges of a global marketplace. This is true, depending on what you mean by diversity. This is not true if you mean diversity alone.Diversity of height on an NBA team, for example, would ensure the team's defeat. Diversity of skill, regardless of certification, for welders used to build our submarines would guarantee no sailor would volunteer to become a submariner. Diversity of character in our elected officials would assure out-of-control corruption in our government—which we have.Diversity, alone, is not a strength. Calling diversity a strength is an empty phrase that sounds good but is meaningless in real-world application except when combined with other qualities. What is most important is unity of purpose.Coming soon: Tom and Jack's weekly show "Stolen Innocence" on Rumble: How many children must be sacrificed at the altar of "Woke" before we "Awaken"? We just finished PRIDE month, but Racheal Levine, a man who dresses as a woman, invited us to extend PRIDE for the whole summer…a summer of PRIDE he called it. It's more than that isn't Richard Levine? It is a life of PRIDE that you seek. One that the so-called wise and learned, the arrogant and the proud, seek for the whole culture...a culture of “WOKE”. Lets define “Woke” culture. It is made up of so called Modern man, men and women, who are living as if God did not exist, what St. Paul called life in the flesh, men and women, who have normalized sin. Modern man, who certainly is among the most hedonistic and barbaric to have ever inhabited the earth, have fallen for the oldest LIE in history, from the father of lies himself, who just before the Original Sin, would tempt Eve to eat from the fruit from the knowledge of good and evil by saying, “You certainly will not die! No God knows well that the moment you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods be who know what is good and what is evil.”NEW YORK (LifeSiteNews) — At New York City's drag queen parade celebrating “pride month,” LGBTQ activists were heard chanting, “We're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children.”Another group walked behind a huge banner with Satan in bold letters. So what are we to do? How many of us, I am a baby boomer, have failed the next generation by allowing this attack on marriage and the family, the Church and has since spread throughout the whole of Culture and Society, without speaking out? You see the WORD that we speak when we proclaim the gospel is THE WORD, the LOGO'S…the power of truth, goodness and beauty, the Divine Person of Jesus Christ, who unites us all together in One Body, with the Father in the Holy Spirit who take up residence within our hearts. This is a high stakes battle. Here we have our answer to the WHY. Enter the tempter, the Mysterium Iniquitatis. Satan does not have his own clay. He, along with men and women who have rejected God, can only twist, distort and seek to destroy the Imago Dei, the sign of Trinitarian Love, marriage and the family, that God created good. Into this proud and arrogant humanity comes the Messiah, The King of Glory, meek and humble of heart. To Rescue and Restore what He created good. This act of mercy and love demands a response and our eternal life depends on ours. Finally, how many children must be sacrificed at the altar of "Woke" before we "Awaken"? Sex trafficking, hook-ups, rape, pornography, abortion, gender ideologies...millions upon millions of victims. If you saw these children of God as He sees them you would weep. Today we learn to respond to one of "Woke" cultures greatest lies. Welcome to “Woke”, simply the newest version of a very old story, mans rejection of God…In Genesis Soon after the fall, Cain kills his brother Abel. And in Chapter 11, we hear the story of the House of Babel. Men already building an earthly city without God. And like all revolutions “Woke” culture comes with a number of slogans and Trojan Horses. Dei, diversity, equity and inclusion is a mainstay. It is a lie. In fact the only diversity is that there is no truth, so what it means is a diversity of moral values, all subjective. Equity, remember is not equality, but is another word for Socialism. An artificial new version of the Marxist system to make everyone the same by separating them, welcome to Socialism 3.0. The sleight of hand where everyone is made equal through the forced equity of intersectionality. Inclusion comes next. Though you are but a clog in the collective wheel, you gain importance depending on your intersectionality group ranking. You then add your label and a pronoun, learn to accept them as your identity, this makes it much easier for the Orchestra leader to manipulate you. They then send you out, full of PRIDE of your new group, label and pronoun, to demean and attack your fellow human beings. This is the perfect set up for the strong man, the tyrant to take power. For if there are no constraints, those that lust for power will find a way to rule. And all the little tyrant wanna be's, take their place as bureaucrats in the deep state or the deep church. dei, a trojan horse is a cover and a lie. It is a very old lie, from the father of lies. It's interesting that we are created Imago DEI, Latin for Created in the Image of God. dei on the other hand has the opposite meaning…of man creating god in his image and/or you even create yourself in your own subjective image. How many children must be sacrificed at the altar of "Woke" before we "Awaken"? Sex trafficking, hook-ups, rape, pornography, abortion, gender ideologies...millions upon millions of victims. Learning to Love in the Truth, and Speak the Truth in Love, is the fundamental path that Jesus Christ has provided for us in the Gospel. Unless we learn to walk this path with Christ humanity as a whole, but especially children, will continue to pay a heavy price. Modern culture, having been hijacked and debased, is no longer a culture of life, but has become quite literally, a culture of death. A culture that has has profaned, and ultimately seeks to destroy, all that is true, good and beautiful. No group has been more savagely attacked, oppressed, manipulated and exploited for sex, commercial gain and power than our nations children. As societies most vulnerable, defenseless and innocent, the only thing that stands between children and the wolves in sheep's clothing who prey upon them, are intact families. Weaken marriage and the family and the whole structure falls. The true oppressors of humanity are well aware of this. Too many of our fellow citizens are not. How many children must be sacrificed at the altar of "Woke" before we "Awaken"? Sex trafficking, hook-ups, rape, pornography, abortion, gender ideologies...millions upon millions of victims. Jesus said, "but from the beginning it was not so" (Matt 19:3-8). And then He points us to the beginning, to the book of Genesis. Grandma Agnes would have loved the brilliant star filled sky. She grew up on a farm and loved Gods creation...nature, the family and the Church.…Last night reminded me of her. The crescent moon and Venus were spectacular as were the incredible array of constellations. How someone could have looked up at that sky filled panorama and not be filled with the awe and wonder of the Cosmos truly amazes me. As I stood there, in humility and thankfulness, I knew that the next morning I would read about another PRIDE event. Human beings filled with so much PRIDE as to miss the reality of their minuscule existence. From outer space the whole pride parade would not even show up as a speck on the surface of our gas-fired planet . My grandmother Agnes, an orphan from Poland with a third grade education, knew that the speck she was mattered. That each and every human being mattered. Not for their size, power or sensual appetites...but because they were created in love by God who knew each of them by name. Agnes, with her third grade education, did not overly concern herself with dogma and doctrine, as important as they were to her. For she had encountered the Person of Jesus Christ and intimately knew Him and Our Blessed Mother. She innately understood what another Polish Native, Pope John Paul II, meant when he spoke of the need to become a "Conscious Catholic". To know that human dignity came from God, not from men. That we are beings endowed with reason and free-will and therefore are personally responsible, both impelled by our nature and bound by moral obligation , to seek the truth, especially religious truth. Our inherent human dignity also binds us to adhere to the truth once it is known, and to direct our whole lives in accordance with the demands of truth.Don't forget to sign up for our Newsletter!! This is Part 2 of Making Sense of Woke“Woke” is the world, “life in the flesh” as St. Paul called it, a world without God…St Augustine would go on to refer to as “the City of Man”. The “Gospel” then is life, St Paul called it “Life in the Spirit”, Per St Augustine, the “The City of God.” And here you have it, two opposing sides, that in a sense all comes back to Adam's fall from grace in the garden of Eden that is told in Genesis. God made everything, and it was good. The Crown of His creation being Adam and Eve, it was very good. Then the fall in Gen 3. The Serpent begins to temp Eve and after she explained what God said He lied to her by saying, "You certainly will not die, (of course death entered)…No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods who know what is good and what is evil.”And human beings have been spreading this lie throughout history. Not to be outdone so-called modern man, who is the most barbaric of all men in many ways…for example more human life has been destroyed in wars since the beginning of the 20th century than all the other wars throughout history combined…not to be outdone, that number pales next to the human life destroyed by abortion. Evil continue to accelerate. Today we hear that the life inside the womb is not a baby. That marriage is meaningless. That there is no truth, only your truth or my truth…we have even gotten to the point that a biological man can become a woman just by thinking about it, and on and on. Try to help someone in this condition, other than affirming them in their confusion, and you could be arrested. Insanity. This is “Woke” the new version of Genesis 1.0…In Genesis Soon after the fall, Cain kills his brother Abel. And in Chapter 11, we hear the story of the House of Babel. Death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny (Catechism of the Catholic Church #1013)Lord, for your faithful people life is changed, not ended. I call it, “Crossing the Bridge”, opening the smaller story of your life to the transformational power of “Connection”. The bottom line is that we were created for eternal life in God, but original sin separated us from the tree of life. It is as though we are left stranded on the bank of a deep, fast-moving river that we cannot cross. We thirst for the peace, happiness and eternal life that is offered to us on the other side, but our broken humanity cannot move any further. We need a Bridge over the Abyss.Saint Catherine of Siena in her “Dialogue with God” heard the Father describe His Son as this living Bridge:“Wherefore I have told you that I have made a Bridge of My Word, of My only-begotten Son, and this is the truth. I wish that you, My children, should know that the road was broken by the sin and disobedience of Adam, in such a way, that no one could arrive at Eternal Life."Don't forget to sign up for our Newsletter!! This is an extremely important episode. Here is the answer to the many currents of evil that surround us today. Christ has come to set us free from sin and death. The oppressor is not found in an economic model as the early Marxists proclaimed. Nor is it in Critical Theory as the later disciples of the marxist philosophy stated. Christ has come to set our freedom free. Only in liberation from sin and ultimately liberation from death will man find eternal life. John Paul II begins with a question. What is the meaning of the Statement: “the flesh has desires contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit has desires contrary to the flesh” (Gal5:17)? Then he addresses the human heart. And specifically Jesus Sermon on the mount about how we look at one another, and the battle for purity of heart. Now St Paul JPII says opens horizons before us that are even vaster. Christ came into the world/fallen world, world no longer filled with the Spirit but the world of the powers and principalities of Satan, demons who rule the fallen world. A world that God, Jesus Christ, enters to restore to the children of God, what has been lost. Their purity of heart as they battle the 3 fold concupiscence, Eyes, flesh and the Pride of life. Christ comes in to Redeem us, Save us…”Redemption of the body” also has a cosmic dimension, all of creation, but at its center stands man: man constituted in the personal unity of spirit and body. It is precisely in this man, in his “heart” and thus in all his behavior, that the redemption of Christ bears fruit, thanks to the powers of the Spirit that bring about justification, that is, that cause justice to “abound” in man, (Matt 5:20), “For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”Join Linda and Jack as they discuss Audience #52 that Pope John Paul II presented on January 7, 1981...but might as well have been this very MOMENT! ..we would have gone on, but thankfully dad, a 96-year-old world-war II veteran, wondered out loud, “most of this just doesn't make rational sense.” He is right of course. It never does when the morally corrupt rule the world. I answered him, “dad, what is even more disconcerting is to think about how many citizens of our country not only vote the corrupt into office but go one further; they accept and condone their practices and policies. Do you want to know why? The answer comes from a prophet who saw all this unfolding sixty-years ago. “Only those who live by faith really know what is happening in the world; the great masses without faith are unconscious of the destructive processes going on, because they have lost the vision of the heights from which they have fallen.”—Bishop Fulton Sheen“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armor of God, the SWORD of the HOLY SPIRIT, that you may be able to withstand the evil day” (Eph 6:10-13). “No one is safe”...one of the best Covid-19 insanity, propaganda, summaries I have ever seen. "Life in the Flesh" or another way to put it, "the World without God," has desires contrary to the Spirit, the Holy Spirit. This life of sin and death runs deep within man. Original sin forms in us along with our body and soul and a conflict ensues. The body/flesh easily gets the upper hand. Our desires are impure (Romans 1:28-32). Our action confirms this in the evil man does to man. The man who lives "according to the flesh" is the man disposed only to that which comes "From the World": he is the man of the "senses" only, the man of the three-fold concupiscence. Only the power of Christ himself working in man's innermost being through the Holy Spirit can free us from this bondage. (Romans 8:5-11). Apparently, he asked questions that were not supposed to be part of the sex ed teaching for the day. Health class is where our children learn all about sex. There is something about the challenge of raising children in a world gone mad that is finally motivating the slow learners (some of them at least) to enter into a discussion beyond sports, romance novels and the latest social media fad. Anxiety, depression, self-harm, gender confusion and talk of suicide among teens is reaching pandemic levels. Join Jack and Tom Hampson as they reflect on the mess in the public school system and beyond. A mess that has the potential to take down the Nation. Read Toms latest article "Our Cultural Challenge" Tom Hampson has been an investigator for over 50 years. As Chief investigator for the Illinois Crime Investigating Commission he directed an eight-year investigation into the sexual exploitation of children, including the commercial sex trade. Please consider financially supporting the Truth Alliance Foundation and the John Paul II Renewal Center!Follow Tom Hampson and support his work to protect our children!truthalliancefoundation.orgDon't forget to sign up for our Newsletter!! Two consistent questions I get "What is CRT.?.. and once understood...but why would anyone seek to divide humanity?"Marxism claims that some groups and classes of human beings are good and others bad, so to perfect itself, humanity must isolate and eliminate the bad people. Solzhenitsyn came to realize instead that the dividing line between good and evil lies within every, single, individual human heart.Pope Benedict XVI wrote, “the fatal flaw of Communists and Socialists is that they had their anthropology wrong. They did not understand man.” Socialism considers the individual person simply as an element, a molecule within the social organism, so that the good of the individual is completely subordinated to the functioning of the socio-political mechanism. Socialism likewise maintains that the good of the individual can be realized without reference to his free choice, to the unique and exclusive responsibility which he exercises in the face of good or evil.It all comes down to a choice between two very different world views. Do you choose to base your life on materialism and the "City of Man" or Do you seek eternal life and choose instead "The City of God?"...two very old choices, two ways to live. The Italians have a beautiful expression for Love: ti voglio bene. Though commonly translated as "I love you," more literally it means "I want what is good for you."This phrase reminds us that love is not primarily about what good feelings may be stirring within. It is a decision of the will...to see the good in another and "ti voglio bene"...To want their good, to desire what is good for my beloved! Love and Responsibility is truly life transforming. John Paul II's vision for love is so captivating that it will change the way you think about love, friendships and relationships as a whole!Book Referenced: Men, Women and the Mystery of Love by Edward Sri Practical insights from John Paul II's Love and ResponsibilityDon't forget to sign up for our Newsletter!! "We must face the difference between two philosophies of human nature which must be traced back to fundamental differences in their philosophy of God--anthropocentric humanism and theocentric humanism: theocentric humanism recognizes that God is the center of man; it implies the Christian conception of man, sinner and redeemed, and the Christian conception of grace and freedom. The second kind of humanism believes that man himself is the center of man and applies a naturalistic conception of man and if individualistic freedom, that leads to the degradation of man."--Jacques Maritain, the crisis of humanismDon't forget to sign up for our Newsletter!! Eros, which according to Plato, is the impulse, or desire, of pure ideas that lifts the soul toward the transcendent...and all that is true, good and beautiful. In the Symposium, Plato describes the stages of ero's influence: it lifts the soul of a human being from the beauty of an individual body to that of all bodies, thus to the beauty of science, and finally to the Idea of Beauty itself. Many Young people, and many older people... have had the the experience of feeling they were in love with someone who at first seemed absolutely wonderful, only later to become greatly disappointed in the person, disillusioned about the relationship and perhaps even pessimistic about the opposite sex as a whole. John Paul II explains why this often happens to both men and women, and how we can avoid such disillusionment in the future. Love and Responsibility is truly life transforming. "I always knew I was different. I could never quite put my finger on it but I always knew that I was not like the other boys. I always felt disconnected from my same-sex peers like I somehow just didn't belong.Today I am a forty-something east coast-dwelling, happily married father of three wonderful children. I am a public high school teacher and a lifelong Catholic Christian who is very active in the Church and passionately in love with Jesus Christ (and my wife). I have also struggled with homosexuality in the form of same-sex attractions since my earliest years."-- AJ BenjaminAJ Benjamins book: "When the Son Frees You: A Catholic Man's Journey of Healing From Same-Sex Attraction"Visit his website!
