We're back for Season 3! On this episode I had the pleasure of having a conversation with Stephanie Anderson of The Anderson Law Practice, LLC. The Anderson Law Practice, LLC, is a boutique Atlanta law firm in Buckhead focusing exclusively on legacy creation, asset protection and the efficient transfer of generational wealth. After experiencing first-hand how the lack of planning can impact a family, Stephanie decided to transition her practice from helping people when there is a problem, to helping them avoid problems altogether. She opened this practice because of the love she has for her family and enjoys working with people who have those same values. The majority of her practice is helping families plan for the future, but Stephanie's unique background arms her with the confidence and knowledge to move forward with litigation and representing individuals in court, if necessary. This background is helpful for clients when it comes to probate matters. She understands that sometimes probate cases can become difficult and believes an attorney should be capable of helping clients if things take a turn for the worse. In this episode we discuss: + What Estate Planning is and why it is important + How having an estate plan can help ease the grieving process for your family once you are gone + How simple it is to set up an estate plan + Some tips when it comes to setting up your estate plan Stephanie Anderson's Information: The Anderson Law Practice, LLC (404) 267-1377 info@atlantaestateplanning.com www.atlestateplanning.com https://www.facebook.com/andersonlawpractice Links mentioned in this episode: S1: Episode 1 Who's That Girl? Summary: Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue. In Jesus' most famous sermon, he taught that angry, critical words can very easily explode from our mouths and rip like shrapnel into the most tender, sensitive part of a person's soul—his self-esteem. In contrast, is God the Father's use of words to build up The Son. Two of the three times that God the Father spoke audibly in the NT, God used his words to praise his son, This is my beloved son IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED. If we are to pattern our fatherhood after God's, one of the first things we need to give attention to is OUR WORDS. This episode helps dads IMPART LIFE to their loved ones through the power of their tongue. For Further Prayerful Thought:What is your biggest struggle in controlling your tongue?Growing up, did you hear, “I'm proud of you” much from your dad?Why do you think these words from our dad have so much power? How can you do a better job of praising those under your care?Biblical Lists of Godly CharacterEight beatitudes: Matt 5:3-12Fruit of the Spirit: Gal 5:22-23Peter's Golden Chain of Virtues: 2 Peter 1:5-8James Wisdom from Above: James 3:13-18Past Series HighlightsFatherhood Is Irreplaceable in God's Design of Humans  Season 1 Episode #32 6/14/20  Responding to the Argument that the Bible Teaches Patriarchy  S1 Episode #33 6/21/20 For the printed version of this message click hereFor a summary of topics addressed by podcast series, click hereFor FREE downloadable studies on men's issues click here

We interrupt our regularly scheduled Podcast series of chronologicalness to bring you special news:  Jesus rose from the dead.  Crazy news. Critical news.  Without this message our faith would be in vain.Everybody gets their own moment with the resurrection.  We all get "Easter-Eyes".  Let's do the best we can with these EYES and our SOULS.We will look at the resurrection with the fresh eyes of the FIRST EYES to see it:  Mary Magdalene.  Mary of Magdala. I cannot WAIT to have lunch with her in heaven.  She is the real deal.  You'll see. If you have an extra seven minutes listen to me being AMAZED by Mary of Mag in S1-Episode #54, one of my favorites of all time. There is unbelief, or at least not-quite-yet-belief.  There are angels and almost arguing.  There is speaking with angels which is under any other circumstances, the highlight of the story.  Then there is the appearance of the gardener, I mean Jesus.  You just gotta love the details of this story.  Then Jesus calls her by name.  That part just kills me.  Then there is a hug perhaps and Jesus reveals an ascension.  Yet another precious precious truth given solely to a woman.  She was then to share it with her declaration of what she believed with her eyes, "I have seen the Lord!"Today you too will see the Lord through her eyes.  Let's be a quick believer.  Happy Easter.  He rose! Whew! Please share this podcast with all your family today. The Apple Podcast QR code is the image above.  Just point your phone camera at it...
