Sarah and Jacob Hoggle disappeared in early September 2014 from Montgomery County, Maryland. They were last seen in the care of their mother, Catherine Hoggle, who gave conflicting accounts of their whereabouts before ultimately refusing to disclose where they were. She was later arrested. Catherine, who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, was deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial and has remained in a psychiatric facility ever since. The children's fate remains unknown to this day. Their father, Troy Turner, continues to seek justice and answers. Their case remains one of Maryland's most heartbreaking and high-profile missing children cases. We've been hearing a lot about the shortage of affordable housing in this province and across the country. Last week, CBC Newfoundland Morning brought you a story about the Town of Gander's plan to rezone some of its green spaces for residential housing. Some residents of the town are opposed to the idea, because they say the green space is needed for recreation and play. Marc Eady owns a property management company in Gander His company does not have plans that involve the land proposed for rezoning, but he says the community is in dire need of affordable housing. He spoke to the CBC's Troy Turner.

Intrigued Full Effect: Curious Cases, Disappearances and Other Stuff
In episode #45 of "Intrigued Full Effect" I do my 3rd update on the disappearance of Sarah and Jacob Hoggle. There are new developments in the murder case involving the kids mother Catherine Hoggle. I spoke to the father Troy Turner, his private investigator Jared Stern and Catherine's attorney David Felsen about the case. I also have new photos of search sites and court documents as well in the YouTube video version of the podcast. This is always a tough one to do especially when I see the pictures of the beautiful kids with their bright smiles. I think about who they could've become in this life, lives that some say were taken by their own mother.
For the past 15 years, companies were not allowed to harness NL's robust winds and export the energy that they'd provide, but the ban on onshore wind farms was lifted recently. In episode #40 of Intrigued Full Effect I get an update on the Sarah and Jacob Hoggle case from family members on the fathers side of the family (Troy Turner). Today we sit down with John Hwang, the owner of Rainier Arms, a high-end firearms manufacturer, specializing in high-end customization of hand-guns and rifles. Troy Turner also sits down with us, the head of their military and Law Enforcement Agency division. We talk all things guns, self-defense and Second Amendment and how Christian's can responsibly own and use guns as tools for self-defense. NOTES: This Weeks Whiskey: 1806 Hillrock Estate Distillery Single Malt Whiskey Guests: John Hwang, owner of Rainier Arms in Auburn, WA and Troy Turner, head of Rainier Arm's military and LEA division. https://www.rainierarms.com What is the role of guns in society? Can Christian's own and use guns? How does the 2nd Amendment affect Christians? When did men become such pansies in the American culture? Firearms are a tool. There are good people with guns and bad people with guns. What's the role of the mainstream media in how guns are depicted in society (normally you only hear about guns in the news, when there is a "mass shooting" or some other tragic mis-use but you never hear about the crimes and violence against innocent people, when guns are used to stop crime and protect the innocent). Guns are the great equalizer of force and appropriate to use for protecting yourself, your family and the ones you love, when others wish to do you or others harm. There are some parallels with guns, just like with alcohol, it's a matter of a man's heart. God never says, "don't drink" but rather says don't get drunk... don't abuse this good thing I gave you. Moderation is key. A significant issue with the violence in our culture, whether via guns or otherwise, is due absent fathers and a lack of fathers in the household. Firearms are a tool - Primarily for self-defense, sporting or hunting. Not all gun owners are enthusiast but all gun owners should know how to responsibly use their firearms. Proverbs 16:9 - "The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps." - Plan your life but allow God to guide us Second Amendment - The right to bare arms: God gave us our life, so we have a natural right to keep and preserve that life by whatever mean necessary, from individuals or a tragical government... that is at the core of the 2nd amendment. Siblings Missing from MD since September 2014. An interview with their father- Troy Turner
In Episode 3, FOX 5's Bob Barnard introduces you to Montgomery County State's Attorney John McCarthy, who talks about the murder case against Catherine Hoggle. The question is posed: Could Hoggle be faking her mental illness to avoid standing trial? Montgomery County Police Capt. Darren Francke talks about the ongoing police investigation, and Troy Turner talks about his growing sense of gloom-- that his two babies are in fact dead.
The series begins with an in-depth interview with Sarah and Jacob Hoggle's father, Troy Turner. He describes, in vivid detail, those first frightening hours when his 2-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter went missing in September 2014. You'll also hear the tall tales the children's mother, Catherine Hoggle, initially told Troy about what happened to their children. Host and FOX 5 DC reporter Bob Barnard relives with Troy the events of that day leading up to Catherine's own disappearance.
