Here it is nerds, the finale to 30 Rock and Go To There. Come on dummies, we can't waste too much time, there's a lot happening here this week! As Liz starts her new life as a stay-at-home mom, she's quickly thrust back into the world of TGS before the second act can even begin. As Kenneth notifies her that one final episode of TGS must be created of NBC has to pay 30 million dollars to Tracy, will Liz be able to leave the TV world behind? Elsewhere, Jack is doing well in his new CEO role of Kabletown, and despite reassuring Kenneth he's happy, has accomplishing his dream satisfied him, or is there nowhere else to go for this Alexander of the corporate world? Back at TGS, Jenna struggles being a non-actor (thereby not getting attention) and seeks out to find her new role in entertainment. Will she also find her new career? Finally, Tracy is struggling with TGS ending as the family and friends he's made are harder to say goodbye to than he ever expected. Will the gang stay in touch, or will their lives be forever changed after their last goodbye? It's been an absolute pleasure bring your Go To There every week for the last two-and-a-half years, and we cannot thank you all enough for joining us on this journey with us. This isn't farewell, but simply "goodbye for now..." As always, if you'd like to donate for production costs, website hosting, etc, hit up our Ko-Fi link to do so. So shines a podcast episode in a weary world! With only one more episode left, 30 Rock is nearing that finish line, with many of its character's lives changing and stories wrapping up. As Liz's work world is crashing down around her, with Jack giving her one more chance to save TGS, can she make the magic happen again; all while her adoption is closing at the same time? Speaking of Jack, in his new role as CEO of Kabletown, his first task is determining the new president of NBC, and despite not having a chocolate factory and indoor boat at his disposable, he's going to "Willy Wonka" his candidates. But when Kenneth takes it too seriously by misunderstanding the idea, will Jack's plan backfire, or will a goon win in the end? We're at the penultimate episode of 30 Rock and Go To There, so hurry to the airport to grab your chili, it's podcast time! As Liz and Sarah gear up for the premiere of Fantasy Island, they‘re doing a lot of press — which can be daunting. But they have a plan of action! Knowing what they want to say and remembering to express their passion are key. In Take a Hike, they reveal how they're mentally preparing for the Fantasy Island reviews. It's never easy! In Hits and Bombs, they give BOTH to the same thing — the cancelation of the Fantasy Island premiere party. (Yes, Covid strikes again.) The Artish Plunge shares an uplifting chat with Liz Murphy, a New Jersey-based painter, interior designer, illustrator and graphic designer who grew up in Surrey, England. Inspired by her mother's ability to inject joy and stability through art and creativity into an otherwise turbulent home life, Liz has used her design skills to create meaningful spaces, and ultimately, found her own voice and truth through painting. Liz talks about learning to be okay on your own and creating a sacred space to hear your inner voice. When you design and work in your own sacred temple, you create from a place of authenticity. Did you know 37 BILLION diapers are thrown away each year? It's a number that feels too big to compute. Today, we welcome Liz Turriginao, mama and co-founder of Diaperkind and Esembly, to help us parent more sustainably. Although Mother Nature seems like the obvious reason for switching to Esembly (see previous gigantic statistic), it's not the only reason. As Liz explains in this episode, their bespoke system and innovative design is made of natural organic materials for your baby, saves you time (big win), and also reduces the chance of diaper blowouts. For 15% off your Esembly order, use code THEFULLEST at checkout.
As Liz and Sarah start to hand over cuts of Fantasy Island to the studio and network, they have to accept they don't have control over how other people react. And that's okay! In Hits & Bombs, Liz gives a Hit to Bravo for bringing Heather Dubrow back to the Real Housewives of Orange County. She also gives herself a Bomb for not succeeding with her post Puerto Rico clean slate. In The Mailroom, Liz and Sarah answer a question about their process of breaking story. This week's guest is Liz Byrne aka “The Gentle Minimalist." Liz has been a professional organizer for 10 years, is a mom of 2 boys, and overall is a bright, beaming light in this wild world. I invited Liz on the podcast to talk about our home environments, which most of us are spending an immense amount of time in these days, and the "why" and "how" to clear our clutter as a spiritual practice. Liz shares inspiration and wisdom around this process of clearing our homes so as to change our lives. She shares her own journey of moving through depression by simply getting rid of the excessive stuff in her home. Liz talks about shifting our vibration through the practice of decluttering and reminds us that our “home is the body for our family." I loved our chat and know that you will get the juice for your own home clearing. Here's the image referenced by Liz in our conversation. As Liz says, "this diagram walks anyone through 20 spaces of decluttering - thoughtfully laid out easy-to-hard. Start easy and move to harder. Lived-in spaces are easier; storage spaces are harder. Paper is HARD! Memorabilia is HARD! ABOUT OUR GUEST: LIZ BYRNE Liz Byrne is a professional organizer-turned-gentle minimalist. Her interest in minimalism started when organizing was too exhausting and the stuff was too overwhelming. Oddly enough, minimalism seemed easier than organizing. Living with less was easier than managing it all. Her background is in professional organizing, working elbow-to-elbow with her clients for 10 years before transitioning to become a minimalist coach. She now coaches clients through a 12-week, online, self-guided program, called “the CLEAR circle." Liz knows that minimalism seems extreme and strict, so she named her business, The Gentle Minimalist. Grace, self-compassion, ease, and micro-decluttering projects are the foundation of her work. Besides minimalism, her interests include hiking with her two young boys, playing tennis with her competitive husband, and reading amazing books. Follow Liz on Instagram and Facebook, and learn more at TheGentleMinimalist.com.
As Liz and Sarah dive into their new project — a reboot of the iconic Fantasy Island — they discuss why it’s crucial to make your own relationships at work. Yes, it takes time and energy to get to know everyone, but relationships are often the key to success. In Take A Hike, they talk about the importance of committing to taking certain days off — and then following through. Pro tip? Relaxation leads to greater productivity. In Hits & Bombs, Liz and Sarah give a Hit to their former assistant, Mary Mehrkens, for offering to help their new assistant get acclimated to the job. They also give themselves a Bomb for not returning emails promptly. This week’s Hollywood Hack will help make your presentation more memorable: Go for the gimmick! "I love relationships. I like observing them. I like thinking about them. I like back in the olden days going to the coffee shop and sitting there with my coffee and my laptop pretending to write and watching people around me," today's guest, Liz Crowe, tells me. Liz Crowe is a novelist who has published more than 25 books with two more coming soon. Her focus is romance but before you put her in a box of stereotypical romance authors, you'll have to wait. Liz is a serious writer whose books push the parameters of conventional romance novels. As Liz says her characters get into "messy situations" and she's not into HEA, short for "Happily Ever After," which is most often a requirement of romance publishers. At the core of every novel she pens is this fascination with relationships and how the evolve--or don't--and how they affect people. For her writing process, Liz admits to being "a 100% died-in-the-wool 'pantser'."What is a 'pantser'? (You'll have to listen).Liz decided she wanted to write romance because she fell in love with the work of Charlaine Harris, who is especially known for Sookie Stackhouse series picked up for the HBO True Blood series. Liz’s characters are both snarky and humorous—much like she is--as well as authentic and, she admits, troublesome. In our conversation we discuss her craft, how she approaches creating the characters who populate her books, her writing process, some of her roadblocks and she offers advice for others who might want to start writing their own fiction. We also discuss how Liz got into writing and how her stints traveling from the States to Istanbul to Japan to London, helps inform her writing. We also discuss her love/hate relationship with horror giant Stephen King, who, while she hasn't loved everything he has written, is a "master of internal dialogue" of his characters and obviously well-loved the world over. Much like Stephen King and other authors in the horror genre, Liz says there are accomplished authors in romance who don't get credit for their mastery of storytelling and writing craft. Our conversation is a deeper dive into the process, the challenges, and the mindset of an authentic, original character who happens to be a published novelist on an upward trajectory. I hope you enjoy my conversation with Liz.Links:FirebrewOther writers Liz loves:Marian Keyes Olivia DadeTalia HibbertNeil GaimanOther mentions:Fermenta, Fermenta is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit trade group initiated by women, committed to education, networking, diversity, and empowerment within the fermented beverage and food industries.Annette May, CiceroneLiz on InstagramLiz on FacebookIntro/Outro Illuminate graciously provided by Wildes
Please, have a seat and make yourself comfortable listener, it's therapy time at 30 Rock! As Liz and Carol's relationship struggles to get stronger, Liz finds an outlet in the lowest level employee at the last place network in America: Kenneth. but will her problems unlock his hidden mental issues, or can Jack rescue him before it's too late? Speaking of Jack, he gets an opportunity to invest in Donald's (Tracy's son who's older than him) theme restaurant featuring Godzila® (with ONE "L" for trademark reasons) but it might unlock his hidden mental block(s) inscribed by his own father. Finally, when Jenna's getting ready for what she hopes is the next step in her and Paul's relationship, he turns the tables on her and has her second guessing if that next step will ever come. After a rocky episode last week, Go To There and 30 Rock return to form in this week's mental episode. We just hope you can keep it together and didn't have to eat your father-pig to download this episode. This week's episode of 30 Rock has the TGS crew (and head crewman Daniel Sunjata) loving Liz, Pete bonding with "Jack", and Jack learning that his legacy is something to never expect to last forever. As Liz reminisces her first two weeks as the cool college dorm resident, she soon quickly learns that some roles are assigned to you via the universe and are inescapable. Elsewhere the Writer's Room nerds learn Jack's voice powers the website Pronouncify.com and prank Pete into building a one-sided friendship with Jack, but their plan may prove to garner favor for both in the end. Finally, as Jack's trip down microwave-division lane shows that his time there has long come and gone, it has him second-guessing his next move in his career. This week's Go To There is reminded that 30 Rock has its ups-and-downs, and College may be the DOWN of season 5. Professor Jim Al-Khalili talks to Liz Seward, Senior Space Strategist for Airbus Defence and Space. Liz's young interest in Science Fiction led to a career designing spacecraft and robots for exploring our own earth, other planets, and the stars. From a library in the US where the science fiction section stood next to the children's section, Liz took inspiration from Robert A. Heinlien and Arthur C. Clarke through a degree in Physics and Space Science at the University of Leicester to begin a career at EADS Astrium (now part of Airbus), initially as a Thermal Engineer. As Liz explains to Jim, thermal engineering lies at the heart of any successful space mission. Any metal box floating in space has to deal with the searing heat of the Sun on one side and the deep, deep freeze of the cosmos on the other. Engineering solutions to cope with these extremes means the difference between triumph and failure. Liz has worked on several missions and international collaborations, including a design for a landing (since de-scoped) on Mercury aboard the current BepiColombo mission due to arrive at Mercury in 2025, and the experimental Aeolus satellite that currently keeps our weather forecasters up to speed on global wind dynamics. A large part of Liz's career was spent with the ESA Martian rover, named Rosalind Franklin, which should have been on its way to the red planet this summer, but has been delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Nowadays at Airbus, Liz works on the strategy of maximizing commercial potential in space, whilst abiding by issues of responsibility around exploration, pollution, and even space traffic management. What if a launch to Mars collides with a long dead weather satellite on its way there? Or that the first detection of life on Mars turns out to be a cold virus from Stevenage? But as she explains to Jim, miniaturization and cheaper launches suggest a bright future for human activity in space. And one day, it may include vertical satellite launches from Scotland, and even passenger flights from Cornwall.
Today’s guest is Liz Grantham. Liz is the founder of The Optimal Me, a fitness app created specifically for those over 50 and it focuses on getting people functionally fit with exercises that take just 15 minutes a day. Liz and I dive deep into the importance of movement as we age. And not just moving (like me, with running) but by doing exercises that help with every day movement--like lifting your luggage into the overhead bin of a flight. As Liz points out, 2.8 million people die each year from obesity. 2.8 million! But no one is talking about that (likely because it’s not contagious). But it’s for this very reason that she’s motivated to help people keep their mobility and stay healthy well into late life. While it wasn’t her intention to create an app that would keep us in shape during a pandemic, the timing of this is quite good as we should all be staying active and functional and staying happy and fit so that when we get out of this, we’re in the same or better shape than when this whole thing started. Liz’s blossoming relationship with the mysterious ‘P’ goes to the next level with the arrival of a (semi) naked selfie from the man who calls her LL (that’s Lovely Liz). If only she didn’t look like ‘cauliflower couscous’ when she was naked she might return the favour. As Liz herself says, ‘It’s just like Love Island but with cellulite.’ It’s another riotous podcast with Britain’s ultimate ‘Marmite columnist’ and her hilarious sidekick, Nic. Liz Wiseman is a New York Times bestselling author of three books, including Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter. She has been listed on the Thinkers50 ranking and in 2019 she was recognized as the top leadership thinker in the world. She is a researcher, an executive advisor, and the CEO of the Wiseman Group, a leadership research and development firm. Some of her recent clients include Apple, Disney, Tesla, Facebook, and Twitter. Previously, she was the Vice President of Oracle University and the global leader for Human Resource Development at Oracle Corporation. She frequently guest lectures at BYU and Stanford University. In Liz’s book, Multipliers, she describes two types of leaders that we have all encountered--diminishers and multipliers. As Liz says, organizations cannot afford to have leaders who are diminishers. The good news is multiplier leadership can be learned and developed. Diminishing leaders vs. multiplier leaders Liz gives a great metaphor for these two types of leaders. Diminishers tend to keep people on choke chains while multipliers let people off the leash, but they still hold on. It’s as though the employees are kites allowed to soar while the leader is still hanging on to the kite strings. It’s not that diminishers are necessarily horrible people trying to control everything. As Liz shares, “Some of it comes from that micromanaging bully, narcissistic boss who, you know, gives you a little task to do rather than challenges and opportunities. But most of it's coming from what I call the accidental diminisher. And these are leaders who care about their people, want to be good leaders trying to do the right thing. Like in my case with Ben, I was just excited to be collaborating with him. Where I needed to say, this is yours let me back away. Hold the strings of the kite rather than suffocate you because of my enthusiasm.” The multiplier effect As Liz researched for her book she interviewed well-respected professionals and after asking them to identify some multiplier leaders they had worked for she asked them what percentage of their capability those leaders had been able to get from them. On average it was 95%, however she found that a lot of people gave answers of over 100%. At first she challenged that, saying your intelligence and capability is always capped at 100%, it’s not possible to be over that. But these individuals said that the leaders were able to not only get 100% of their ability, but they stretched them and caused them to become smarter over time. Liz says, “We know this, that intelligence. It languishes. It shrinks essentially when it's not used. And when intelligence is challenged and used and applied, it grows. We literally get smarter and more capable around certain kinds of leaders and people and colleagues and roommates and family members. And that is really the multiplier effect. It's getting all of people's capability plus a growth dividend. And then the dynamic that happens across an organization where people come to work knowing that not only are they going to be fully utilized, they're going to be challenged. That you need to show up, game ready. That's the multiplier effect.” The five disciplines of multipliers For the book, Liz analyzed data on over 150 leaders and she found several areas where multipliers and diminishers act similarly including customer service and market insight. But she found five active ingredients unique to multipliers. They are: The Talent Magnet: They attract and optimize talent to its fullest. They get the best out of everyone, regardless of if the people report directly to them or not The Liberator: They require people’s best thinking. They create an atmosphere that is both comfortable and intense. The Challenger: They extend challenges. They lay down challenges that stretch, but they also generate the belief that it can be done The Debate Maker: They debate decisions. By allowing people to debate decisions early on they help people understand the change and be a part of the execution. The Investor: They instill accountability. They have high expectations, but they also provide necessary resources needed to deliver and sustain results. Diminishing behaviors to watch out for There are several diminishing behaviors that leaders can look out for, and to do this you have to practice self-awareness. As a leader most likely you won’t have employees coming to you to point out your flaws, you have to be aware of them yourself. One of the first behaviors Liz points out is being idea rich. If you as the leader provide all of the answers, all of the ideas, people around you tend to either get lazy or they are so busy running around trying to bring your ideas to fruition that they don’t have time to think of anything on their own. She suggests leaders keep a notepad or sticky notes around to write down ideas as they come up, and keep them to yourself until the next group meeting to discuss with your team. Another behavior to watch out for is being optimistic all the time. Optimism in itself is not a bad thing, but there are times when individuals or the organization as a whole is going through a tough time. It is important to acknowledge the struggle sometimes. Especially as we look at the times we are going through now, try to understand what your people are going through and let them know you acknowledge this is a tough time. A third one to be aware of is being a rapid responder. Liz says, “If the manager is so quick to respond. Then nobody else gets to do their job. Nobody else gets to take accountability because that manager has just taken it from them. So the little rule I use, I've had some rapid responder tendencies in the past is I use a 24 hour hands off rule, which means if an email comes in and one just came in on Friday, it was sent to me and one other person on my team who is actually the one responsible for this project. Well, I knew he was out for a bit. In a meeting and he wasn't going to get to this and my fingers on the keyboard. About to reply because I'm like, oh, this is important. And this person is going to want to hear from us. And I just take my fingers off the keyboard and I'm like 24 hours. Hands off. Which gives him a chance to come back from his meeting, come back from his son's Little League game, whatever it is, and take ownership and responsibility. But people can't take ownership for something unless the manager lets go of it.” By being aware of these behaviors, and other problem ones, and embracing the traits of multipliers we can get the absolute best from our team. Imagine what our organizations could do if we allowed our people to operate at 95% and greater.
As Liz is looking for love at her YMCA, Jack's love life gets even more complicated as Nancy is back in town for his birthday. Unfortunately he cannot tell her about Avery and decides to "Three's Company" them both to decide which is best for his future. Elsewhere in 30 Rock, Toofer learns he was a diversity/affirmative action hire and sets out to right the wrongs, but Liz learns her past isn't squeaky clean either. This week's Go To There rings oddly poignant and topical given the current world events with racism around the world, and we urge you to donate and participate in the Black Lives Matter movement in any way you can. Liz has worked on several missions and international collaborations, including a design for a landing (since de-scoped) on Mercury aboard the current BepiColombo mission due to arrive at Mercury in 2025, and the experimental Areolus satellite that currently keeps our weather forecasters up to speed on global wind dynamics. Producer Alex Mansfield, Sound production by Giles Aspen.
On this episode of the Life in the Carolinas podcast, Carl sits down with Liz Parham, the Executive Director of North Carolina Main Street Center. She works with designated Main Street communities across the state to conduct strategic planning and education programs. These initiatives, among others, are designed to increase the economic capacity of communities. The Main Street program was inspired by the National Main Street Center, which began in 1980. The idea behind the program was born out of the increasingly commercialized society that developed in the late 1970s and 1980s, with malls and strip centers popping up everywhere. Because of these rapid developments, there was concern among communities that their downtown districts would become vacant. The Main Street program was started, then, to “put new uses back into those really key properties, those buildings, that were in our downtown districts all across the state.” “The heart and soul of the community is in the downtown,” continues Liz. “Historic buildings are unique to that town. If you lose that heart and soul, you do not just lose it downtown; you lose a community’s identity. Even today, industries do not move into a community that does not have a heart and soul.” The Main Street program has brought life back into these communities. Residents develop a sense of pride upon seeing physical improvements to historic buildings, as well as new businesses coming to life. It inspires the citizenry to share the good news and invest for the good of the community in their own, individual ways. Just last year alone, $270 million was invested in Liz’s designated Main Street. Collectively, $3.2 billion was invested since the beginning of the program in 1980. As Liz says, “It’s very much a public-private partnership, which I think is good for everyone. They are sharing in the expenses; but they are also sharing in the success.” Liz actually began to do downtown work when she was finishing college. Upon graduation, Liz moved around for a number of years serving on the Main Street programs of different cities. In that time, she has seen directors of the program grow in number, from a small handful when she started, to about 20 now spread out among 64 designated Main Street communities. Asked about how the Main Street program is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, Liz says that they are working with a lot of small businesses to help them build an ecommerce presence through websites and social media profiles. The Main Street program’s website has a dedicated COVID-19 resource page that is extremely active and updated with new information every day. Beyond looking at federal resources, the program is helping small businesses to develop and execute innovative marketing and investment strategies amid quarantine measures all around the country. All of this builds towards the long-term goal of recovery and resiliency. In this interview with Liz Wilson, we focused the conversation far more on culture, people, leadership and systems. Like all mortgage brokers, Liz has needed to embrace the change of recent time so she and her team can remain relevant to their clients and continue to deliver outstanding levels of service. What interesting to hear is Liz's mindset and openness to personal change, growth and thinking differently in order to achieve different outcomes. Not only does she embrace change, but moreover, Liz also engages her people in the process so there is buy-in at the ground level. As Liz would know first-hand, the more the buy-in, the easier the transition. In terms of Liz' personal growth, as she eloquently said, “The only way to survive is to grow”, and that's a very healthy mindset so she can continue to explore new avenues for optimising the engagement and focus that her team members bring on a daily basis. Liz also touches on how employing and engaging the right people and helping the wrong people get off the bus has made a profound difference to how their business operates and the energy & attitudes that are brought into the office. If you'd like to find out more about Liz and her team, you can visit their website here.

Episode 39: Liz On Finding Excellence Welcome to Tea, Toast and Trivia. Thank you for listening in. The search for excellence is intertwined in the story of humanity. Consider the Chinese philosopher, Confucius who said centuries ago, that “The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” In our world, there is a plethora of books that guide us on our search. My question is – will we ever find excellence? Or will we be able to know when we have reached the exalted state of excellence? For answers, I turn to my dear blogger friend, Liz from the blog Leaping Life. Once again, we are linking Edinburgh and Vancouver, which is 7,059 kilometers or 4,387 miles. So, Put the kettle on and join in the conversation. We would love to hear your thoughts on TeaToastTrivia.com I am your host Rebecca Budd and I’m looking forward to sharing this moment with you. Thank you for joining Liz and me on Tea Toast & Trivia. The search for excellence is ongoing. It is a state a mind that celebrates being “excellent in the moment.” As Liz said, “I’m so pleased that I persevered with it all. Those few weeks of trial and much error now seem totally worth all the irritation and frustration.” And a very special thank you to you Liz, for sharing your insights and wisdom. I’m looking forward to our next conversation coming up in a few weeks. Connect with Liz on Leaping Life! Pause, Breathe, Live! Until next time, dear friends, safe travels.
This week, we look at three MRIs with four different price tags, and an enormous range. Liz Salmi and a view of her brain. (Photo: Kaiser Health News)The first two price tags come from listener Liz Salmi, who has been living with brain cancer for more than a decade.Liz gets MRI scans twice a year, to make sure the cancer isn’t growing. A couple years ago, Liz changed insurance, changed providers… and got serious sticker-shock when she saw the bill for a scan: $1,600 — AFTER insurance. So when she needed a follow-up scan, she shopped around — and found an option that set her back less than 90 bucks.Which is great news, and useful — as far as it goes: As Liz points out, not everybody has six months to shop around. But Liz’s experience isn’t even the craziest MRI-price-tag story we look at this week. Stick around for that.Coming in to bat cleanup — to help us understand why these prices are so crazy, and so variable — is journalistic super-star, friend of the show, and my new colleague:Elisabeth Rosenthal, editor-in-chief of Kaiser Health News and author of An American Sickness: How Healthcare Became Big Business and How You Can Take It Back. She breaks it down in an authoritative, funny, clear-as-glass way.(Reminder: Kaiser Health News — our co-producers for this season — is not affiliated with the health care provider Kaiser Permanente. It’s a great story, and we’ve got it for you right here.)This is the first of three episodes where we look at where health care prices come from. So this week it’s MRIs.Next up: Prescription drugs. And then: Insulin. Yep, we are going there. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
As Liz and Ben prepare for one of the year's biggest premieres, one question comes up: How is HBO planning to take advantage of GAME OF THRONES' final season, and how are other networks reacting? Liz Lovely brings you cookies with a higher purpose. As Liz puts it, "Authenticity from start to finish." That means an uncompromising commitment to perfection, and a relentless approach to social responsibility. We don't cut corners, and we don't prioritize profits over people or the planet. We've come a long way since 2003. It's been a treacherous road frought with peril. Every day requires courage and dedication. But the rewards are many. Like the encouraging emails, phone calls, and visits we get every day from our fans. On Today’s show Liz will share: -What’s Your Personal Mission Statement Be relentless, more relentless than everyone around you. -Biggest Business Mistake Taking on investors too early in the business. -How Do You Handle Business Stress and Uncertainty I ride the ups and the downs. Business is like a roller coaster. I celebrate all the ups, they need to be acknowledged. Staying in business is a battle and each up is like a little victory. Whether that’s just making payroll, launching a new product successfully or getting a big chain of store to pick us up. I can’t lie and say I don’t take the downs personally but I try and find the reason in them. I ask myself, what good is going to come from this bad thing happening? I also try to live a balanced life to cope with the immense stress of the day to day. I take time for myself every day to workout. I make sure I have food that makes me feel good with me at all times so I don’t eat out of stress. I take time with my kids and my family so I remember why I am working so hard. I remind myself that I am only going to go out of business if I don’t show up. -Greatest Business Decision That Changed Everything Listening to my customers (and my partner) to release gluten free cookies. It saved the business. -Best Book For The Entrepreneurial Mindset I mostly read cookbooks. They inspire me to think about what is next. -Plus much more...
