After lengthy delays due to director turnover, the pandemic, studio shake-ups, and behind-the-scenes drama featuring its lead actor, DC Comics' Scarlet Speedster finally raced onto movie screens this past summer. Director Andy Muscetti helmed the pic, staring Ezra Miller as a Barry Allen who goes back in time to meet another Barry Allen, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Ben Affleck as Batman and also bringing Michael Keaton back as Batman. Despite bringing back your Dad's Batman and boasting a multiverse of meta-references, the film failed to find success in the Father's Day frame and fizzled out, making less than its production budget at the domestic box office. This all but sealed the fate of the DCEU, with James Gunn taking the reins. But don't despair! Starling Tribune - Season 4 Edition – Episode 8: Legends Of Yesterday   The Official Arrow Podcast of the Gonna Geek Network   It's a special edition of The Starling Tribune as the reporters discuss the Arrow and Flash crossover, Legends Of Today and Legends Of Yesterday. The GonnaGeek network steals a page from the CW network and does a crossover of our own as The Starling Tribune sends Reporter Neil this week to The Crimson Comet and Jonolobster from The Crimson Comet is welcomed to the reporter's pool for the week. We love the Geek And Avengers references this week ala the superhero loft party and the farmhouse scenes. They three reporters talk about how great these episodes are for new viewers to start on, why the Arrow Lair's computers have been acting all weird, and how some characters and secondary characters were not given their full due. What an awesome complete death scene! The reporters give their take on Big Boss fight scene #1 and Bg Boss fight scene #2. Damian Darhk and Vandal Savage see a speedster for the first time. The reporters have a theory on Vandal Savage and the League Of Assassins. The reporters are wowed by Felicity's tech-fu being able to play a BetaMax on a dime using modern equipment. Even while he is on the road for the week, Neil reports remotely from Central City. Going deeper into the episode, the reporters discuss is Felicity is acting out of character and if Samatha Clayton is asking too much of Oliver. Those issues bother's Stargate Pioneer so much he reached out to Anna Hopkins to get her take on what happened in the episode. Rosario Dawson had an incredible performance. Jiaying telling Gordon to "take care" of Gonzales, meaning blasting everything to pieces to destroy every evidence. Sure Lauren did the "maaaahp" sound from Sterling Archer, after they blasted the building. Like me. Holy Frak how Skye took out that Agent! But May really shouldn't try reason with her right now. Jiaying's plan to distrust seems to work. Ugh! Man, all that plus the May vs. Skye bonnanza, and that was just the pre title logo sequence! Perfect, so Jiaying has powers like X-Men's Rogue! Aaaaargh, pushing that needle under Bobbi's fingernail is too brutal for me. Gutting, chopping off heads, no problemo, but this...uhrrrrr. Really beginning to dislike Agent Weaver. How disrespectful she talked to Mack. Simmons finding out about Cal's substances...I have a BAAAAD feeling about this! No surprise that Jiaying would kill Raina, but that Skye would see it from the bushes. Please! I was so freaking out when Skye let her mom come closer...to freaking touch her and suck out her life energy!!!!! How they decided to make Skye's eyes bleached out, hen Jiaying tries to kills her. Though Skye still had some energy left for that power move to push the plane from the ship. So that happens when two different objects try to exist in the same space: Bye Gordon, really liked you but Jiaying had you already around her finger for many years. FRAAAAAK!...was that quick thinking by Mack! Jamie Lannister sends his regards. Awwwwww, Cal doing the deed for Skye to snap Jiaying's neck. Daddy really loves his Daisy. Well that concludes everything, right?? Oh, what happened to Ward in the meantime?? What plans is Coulson printing back at base? So he will become a Real-Life-Decoy? Jay is subbing this week for Agent Lauren who found herself with an uncontrollable urge to touch The Diviner and is now in recovery from her rather extensive Obelisk caused injuries. This week’s podcast crew also will run down the week in Marvel news, and review down all the awesome Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. feedback.   Ye Who Enter Here” Episode Discussion [5:13]     Everyone debates what Skye’s dream actually was and what it really meant. Especially since it was not referred to again in the episode. No one really knows why she had the dream either.   Mack’s toy Lola comes just in time for the Christmas season. But will it convince Coulson to let Mack touch Lola – once he recovered from his exposure to whatever was at the bottom of the shaft plus the subsequent fall down that very same shaft! Wing really liked Mack but Stargate Pioneer is still hesitate about what exactly Mack is doing with Mockingbird.   Haley thinks that Mack and Bobbi are actually in another secret Marvel style organization like SWORD sent in to monitor Coulson and the remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D. in hiding. Last season Marvel did the bad secret organization. Haley thinks that this season Marvel wants to do the good organization so not to be too silly.   Also, Bobbi Morris is being played as the evil spy agent but it will really turn out to be a Hydra brainwashed Simmons made by Bakshi and Whitehall to “comply.” Haley also thinks that the S.W.O.R.D. type organization will be involved in Avengers 2 as well.   Haley also thinks that Bobbi and Lance Hunter will breakup and that is the oncoming storm that Mack was referring to.   Haley and Jay were pleased to see Trip with a more prominent role in this episode.   Everyone loves Evil May (Agent 33) and her scar / damaged face mask.   The Skye-Agent 33 fight wasn’t exactly the quality of the May-Agent 33 fight but it was still a good addition to the show. And reminiscing about May without her dress was tops on everyone’s mind.   Haley was disappointed that Skye didn’t shoot Ward in his foot on The Bus.   Why was Raina not in the interrogation room? Why did she have a lanyard?   Just how many Koenig brothers are out there? And they get all the cool toys wlike a cloak umbrella. Simmons seems more fancied with Trip. Haley also hopes that Fits is brought down the super villain path because it would be great for the story and bad for the feels. Wing thinks that killing Ward will be what turns Fitz to be a Villian.   Would Fitz been able to shoot Mack? And Is Mack Dead? No.   Stargate Pioneer is smitten with Mockingbird’s tasing batons.   Haley feels that Fury’s body count number would have been 3 million. Jay and Wing think it would have been much, much higher. Coulson is minor league here.   Where is General Talbot with Corporeal Mustache these days?   Stargate Pioneer wonders if Ward really killed his parents and brother or if it will lead us down yet another deceptive path.   Stargate Pioneer rants and raves about a “Cold War Frequencies.” There is no such thing. Haley says yes there is in Comic Book Science.   Haley jumps at the chance to talk about how awesome May is.   And why in the world does Skye willingly go with Ward?   Jay wants to see Oliver Queen from Arrow and Melinda May fight. And of course it would end up with them sleeping with each other. And Stargate Pioneer loved May hitting the Hydra guys with the van just like Felicity did in the penultimate Arrow Season 2 episode with Ravager.     Raina and Skye have very intense conversations.   Ward was not only being strategic taking Skye as a bargaining chip but also because how much he loved Skye.
