Therese Charlotte Roppel ist Vikarin in der Evangelischen Kirche Mitteldeutschland (EKM). Im Gespräch mit Tobias erzählt sie von einem spannenden Projekt, das sie in einer Kirche umgesetzt hat - ein Exit Game basierend auf der biblischen Jona Erzählung. Sie nimmt uns mit hinein in den Entstehungsprozess, von der Idee über die Konzeption bis zur Fertigstellung und erzählt auch von Widerständen, die sie dabei erfahren hat. Darf man das eigentlich? Einen kirchlichen Raum komplett umgestalten, mit Licht und Dekoration und allem was dazu gehört und ihn anders nutzen als für den klassischen Gottesdienst? Und sie erzählt von ihren Erfahrungen und Learnings aus diesem Projekt. Von Teamaufbau, Rollenverteilung und wie ein solches Projekt dabei helfen kann, Kirche im Ort zu einem relevanten Faktor zu machen.

In Folge 83 der Sendung „Was Isch Los?“ hat Moderator Markus Lang Marco Kiefer aus Baden-Baden zu Gast. Marco Kiefer betreibt mit seinem Team in Baden-Baden und Karlsruhe unter dem Namen „Escape the Room“ sogenannte Exitgames/Escape-Rooms. Marco war einer der ersten in Deutschland, der einen Escape-Room in Deutschland eröffnete. Die Idee brachte er aus einem Städtetrip mit Freunden aus Prag mit, da ihn das Thema nicht mehr losgelassen hat. Auf die Frage, was genau ein Escape-Room ist, heißt es in der Regel, dass man innerhalb einer Stunden in einem Raum zu einem bestimmten Thema Rätsel und Aufgaben lösen muss, um eine Mission zu erfüllen. 90 % der Teilnehmer schaffen es die Rätsel zu lösen, wobei man auch über ein Walkie-Talkie Hilfe bekommen kann. Der bisherige Rekord bei seinen Räumen liegt bei unter 30 Minuten. Die Rätsel entwickelt er mit seinem Team selbst, oft muss er hierfür lange nach Requisiten suchen oder selbst welche bauen. Mittlerweile gibt es Firmen, die Escape-Rooms und Rätsel als Dienstleister zum Einkauf anbieten; die Mehrzahl der Betreiber entwickeln jedoch die Rätsel und Aufgaben selbst. Alle 2-3 Jahre werden die Räume bei Marco Kiefer komplett neu konzipiert. In Rastatt und Baden-Baden gibt es von Kiefer und seinem Team entwickelte Exit-Game-Stadtführungen, die sich immer größerer Beliebtheit erfreuen. Exit-Games sind in Deutschland als Freizeitbeschäftigung mittlerweile etabliert und kein Trend mehr.
