São como nuvens sem água que o vento leva para onde quer. São como árvores de outono sem fruto, completamente mortas e sem raízes. São como as ondas bravas do mar, atirando para o ar a espuma das suas ações vergonhosas. São astros errantes, para os quais está reservada a sombria escuridão, para sempre. Já o patriarca Henoc, o sétimo descendente de Adão, anunciava a sorte dessa gente, dizendo: «Aí vem o Senhor com os seus milhares de anjos para julgar o mundo e acusar os maus por todas as más obras que praticaram e por todas as palavras de revolta, que os pecadores pronunciaram contra ele.» Essa gente não faz outra coisa senão murmurar e lamentar-se; fazem o que bem lhes apetece, falam com orgulho e mostram-se amáveis para com os outros, mas só por interesse. Judas 12-16 devocional Custa imenso lidar com gente interesseira, que sob uma capa de afabilidade apenas quer “fazer o que bem lhe apetece”. Agudiza-se a situação quando tal ocorre no seio de comunidades cristãs. É extremamente difícil apurar a motivação das pessoas e no fundo, verdade seja dita, essa competência não nos assiste. Cabe a Deus ajuizar o que move o íntimo de cada um. E que nenhuma dúvida reste que Ele o fará. Daí ser altamente recomendável que todos nós comecemos por assegurar, através da prática introspectiva, que não somos precisamente daqueles que contribuem negativamente para a molhada egoísta. Que lamentável coisa é pensar com o umbigo! No fundo é como ser uma “nuvem sem água que o vento leva para onde quer ou uma árvore de Outono sem fruto, completamente morta e sem raízes.” Não nos queiramos assemelhar a “ondas bravas do mar, atirando para o ar a espuma de acções vergonhosas.” Deixemos de andar por aí a bater com a cabeça nas paredes, de tanto insistir na satisfação dos nossos interesses, acabando por ficar com ela cheia de galos de murmuração e queixume. Además han sido encontrados varios fragmentos en arameo y uno en hebreo, en Qumrán. La tradición atribuía su autoría a Enoc, bisabuelo de Noé. En una hoja de papel -preferiblemente la libreta que estés usando para apuntar tus experiencias de estos retos- contestes las siguientes preguntas: 1. ¿Cuánto tiempo dedicas a la oración cada día? ¿Cuántas veces haces oración y cuantas veces te acuerdas de Dios en tu vida? 2. ¿Cuánto tiempo dedicas, en cambio, a deportes, entretenimiento y redes sociales? Contrasta estos dos números. 3. ¿Cuánto de tu dinero mensual lo destinas a la Iglesia? 4. Y en cambio, ¿Cuánto de tu dinero mensual se va en restaurantes, ropa, videojuegos, etc? Contrasta, de nuevo estos números. 5. Por último, ¿qué es lo primero que sientes cuando alguien te invita a hacer oración, ir a misa, o participar de alguna actividad religiosa? Si tu primera reacción es alegría y altas expectativas, parece que tu corazón va por buen camino. Si tu primera reacción, en cambio, es ‘qué hueva' (pereza o tedio), significa que algo en tu corazón tiene que cambiar, porque no disfrutas estar cerca de Dios, y estás separado de Él.
