Aber keiner möchte seinen Lebensmittelpunkt aufgeben. Für ihn hängt an dem Haus die Geschichte mit seinem verstorbenen Vater, für sie wäre ein Umzug ein schmerzhafter Autonomieverlust. Wie viel Kompromiss ist gesund? Und woran merkt man, dass man sich für die Beziehung vielleicht selbst verliert? Außerdem geht es um eine Ehe, die von außen stabil wirkt: Haus, Kind, Alltag. Und innen um Panikattacken, alte Wunden und ein Versprechen, das vor neun Jahren in einer völlig anderen Lebensphase gegeben wurde. Wie viel Verständnis darf man vom Partner erwarten, wenn man selbst gerade erst beginnt, die eigenen Ängste zu verstehen? Und kann man ein altes Versprechen einfordern, wenn sich beide Menschen längst verändert haben?
