46 Which of you shall convict me of sin? If I say the truth to you, why do you not believe me?Quis ex vobis arguet me de peccato? 47 He that is of God, heareth the words of God. Therefore you hear them not, because you are not of God.Qui ex Deo est, verba Dei audit. 48 The Jews therefore answered, and said to him: Do not we say well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? 49 Jesus answered: I have not a devil: but I honour my Father, and you have dishonoured me.Respondit Jesus : Ego daemonium non habeo : sed honorifico Patrem meum, et vos inhonorastis me. 50 But I seek not my own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. 51 Amen, amen I say to you: If any man keep my word, he shall not see death for ever.Amen, amen dico vobis : si quis sermonem meum servaverit, mortem non videbit in aeternum. 52 The Jews therefore said: Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest: If any man keep my word, he shall not taste death for ever.Dixerunt ergo Judaei : Nunc cognovimus quia daemonium habes. 53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? and the prophets are dead. Whom dost thou make thyself? Quem teipsum facis? 54 Jesus answered: If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father that glorifieth me, of whom you say that he is your God.Respondit Jesus : Si ego glorifico meipsum, gloria mea nihil est : est Pater meus, qui glorificat me, quem vos dicitis quia Deus vester est, 55 And you have not known him, but I know him. And if I shall say that I know him not, I shall be like to you, a liar. But I do know him, and do keep his word.et non cognovistis eum : ego autem novi eum. 56 Abraham your father rejoiced that he might see my day: he saw it, and was glad. 57 The Jews therefore said to him: Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham was made, I am.Dixit eis Jesus : Amen, amen dico vobis, antequam Abraham fieret, ego sum. 59 They took up stones therefore to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple. St John shows us the growing hatred of the Sanhedrin. Those who ought to have recognized in Jesus the Son of God, greater than Abraham and the Prophets, because He is eternal, disregarded the meaning of His words. They insulted our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messias, whom they declared to be possessed by a devil, a blasphemer, whom they would stone to death.

He walks upon the sea and discourses of the bread of life. 1 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is that of Tiberias.Post haec abiit Jesus trans mare Galilaeae, quod est Tiberiadis : 2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the miracles which he did on them that were diseased.et sequebatur eum multitudo magna, quia videbant signa quae faciebat super his qui infirmabantur. 3 Jesus therefore went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. 4 Now the pasch, the festival day of the Jews, was near at hand.Erat autem proximum Pascha dies festus Judaeorum. 5 When Jesus therefore had lifted up his eyes, and seen that a very great multitude cometh to him, he said to Philip: Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?Cum sublevasset ergo oculos Jesus, et vidisset quia multitudo maxima venit ad eum, dixit ad Philippum : Unde ememus panes, ut manducent hi? 6 And this he said to try him; for he himself knew what he would do.Hoc autem dicebat tentans eum : ipse enim sciebat quid esset facturus. 7 Philip answered him: Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little.Respondit ei Philippus : Ducentorum denariorum panes non sufficiunt eis, ut unusquisque modicum quid accipiat. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, saith to him:Dicit ei unus ex discipulis ejus, Andreas, frater Simonis Petri : 9 There is a boy here that hath five barley loaves, and two fishes; but what are these among so many? 10 Then Jesus said: Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. The men therefore sat down, in number about five thousand.Dixit ergo Jesus : Facite homines discumbere. Erat autem foenum multum in loco. Discumberunt ergo viri, numero quasi quinque millia. 11 And Jesus took the loaves: and when he had given thanks, he distributed to them that were set down. In like manner also of the fishes, as much as they would. 12 And when they were filled, he said to his disciples: Gather up the fragments that remain, lest they be lost. 13 They gathered up therefore, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above to them that had eaten. 14 Now those men, when they had seen what a miracle Jesus had done, said: This is of a truth the prophet, that is to come into the world. 15 Jesus therefore, when he knew that they would come to take him by force, and make him king, fled again into the mountain himself alone. 16 And when evening was come, his disciples went down to the sea. 17 And when they had gone up into a ship, they went over the sea to Capharnaum; and it was now dark, and Jesus was not come unto them. 18 And the sea arose, by reason of a great wind that blew.Mare autem, vento magno flante, exsurgebat. 19 When they had rowed therefore about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking upon the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship, and they were afraid. 20 But he saith to them: It is I; be not afraid.Ille autem dicit eis : Ego sum, nolite timere. 21 They were willing therefore to take him into the ship; and presently the ship was at the land to which they were going. 22 The next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea, saw that there was no other ship there but one, and that Jesus had not entered into the ship with his disciples, but that his disciples were gone away alone. But other ships came in from Tiberias; nigh unto the place where they had eaten the bread, the Lord giving thanks.aliae vero supervenerunt naves a Tiberiade juxta locum ubi manducaverunt panem, gratias agente Domino. 24 When therefore the multitude saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they took shipping, and came to Capharnaum, seeking for Jesus. 25 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him: Rabbi, when camest thou hither? 26 Jesus answered them, and said: Amen, amen I say to you, you seek me, not because you have seen miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed. 28 They said therefore unto him: What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?Dixerunt ergo ad eum : Quid faciemus ut operemur opera Dei? 29 Jesus answered, and said to them: This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he hath sent. 30 They said therefore to him: What sign therefore dost thou shew, that we may see, and may believe thee? What dost thou work?Dixerunt ergo ei : Quod ergo tu facis signum ut videamus et credamus tibi? quid operaris? 31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert, as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.Patres nostri manducaverunt manna in deserto, sicut scriptum est : Panem de caelo dedit eis manducare. 32 Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you; Moses gave you not bread from heaven, but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is that which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life to the world. 34 They said therefore unto him: Lord, give us always this bread. 35 And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger: and he that believeth in me shall never thirst.Dixit autem eis Jesus : Ego sum panis vitae : qui venit ad me, non esuriet, et qui credit in me, non sitiet umquam. 36 But I said unto you, that you also have seen me, and you believe not. 37 All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.Omne quod dat mihi Pater, ad me veniet : et eum qui venit ad me, non ejiciam foras : 38 Because I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.quia descendi de caelo, non ut faciam voluntatem meam, sed voluntatem ejus qui misit me. 39 Now this is the will of the Father who sent me: that of all that he hath given me, I should lose nothing; but should raise it up again in the last day. 40 And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth in him, may have life everlasting, and I will raise him up in the last day. 41 The Jews therefore murmured at him, because he had said: I am the living bread which came down from heaven.Murmurabant ergo Judaei de illo, quia dixisset : Ego sum panis vivus, qui de caelo descendi, 42 And they said: Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then saith he, I came down from heaven?et dicebant : Nonne hic est Jesus filius Joseph, cujus nos novimus patrem et matrem? quomodo ergo dicit hic : Quia de caelo descendi? 43 Jesus therefore answered, and said to them: Murmur not among yourselves.Respondit ergo Jesus, et dixit eis : Nolite murmurare in invicem : 44 No man can come to me, except the Father, who hath sent me, draw him; and I will raise
1 Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.Huic ostiarius aperit, et oves vocem ejus audiunt, et proprias ovas vocat nominatim, et educit eas. 4 And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. 5 But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This proverb Jesus spoke to them. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures.Ego sum ostium. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.

Music: Forty days and forty nights.
Pastoral Reflections Finding God In Ourselves by Msgr. Don Fischer
Gospel John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30 Jesus moved about within Galilee; he did not wish to travel in Judea, because the Jews were trying to kill him. But the Jewish feast of Tabernacles was near. But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, he himself also went up, not openly but as it were in secret. Some of the inhabitants of Jerusalem said, "Is he not the one they are trying to kill? And look, he is speaking openly and they say nothing to him. Could the authorities have realized that he is the Christ? But we know where he is from. When the Christ comes, no one will know where he is from." So Jesus cried out in the temple area as he was teaching and said, "You know me and also know where I am from. Yet I did not come on my own, but the one who sent me, whom you do not know, is true. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me." So they tried to arrest him, but no one laid a hand upon him, because his hour had not yet come. Reflection Jesus is coming to the end of his ministry. He knows that he's about to die. And his anxiety, I would feel, is about whether or not people are going to believe him. And he has something so beautiful, so powerful to teach them and to say to them. But it sounds so different than the temple that they're just confused. Where does he get this authority? And he makes it clear. What I'm saying to you that is truthful is not from me. The man that grew up in Nazareth. It's from God. So he is witnessing something that you and I have to believe in. If we have an intention to bring truth into a relationship, into any situation, we have to trust that it is not from us, but through us. The Closing prayer Father, your intention is to use us to be an instrument like you were to the people of God, to those around us. Bless us with confidence in the insights we have so that when we share them, we can trust more in them as coming from you the source of all good, the source of all transformation. And we ask this in Jesus Amen.

Today's Reading: Matthew 1:18-2Daily Lectionary:Isaiah 34:1-2, 8-35:10; Revelation 6:1-17She will bear a Son and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. (Mt. 1:21)In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. Names mean a whole lot. Your mother and father chose yours for a reason. Maybe it was a relative's name, maybe your name was found on an internet search for neat, contemporary names; regardless of how you were given your name, your name is how you're known, remembered and the means by which you're addressed.God became a Man and was given a name too; Gabriel the Archangel as he comforts worrying Joseph says that the name of the Child in Mary's womb, the Child that is to come into the world was conceived by the Spirit and was going to do some extraordinary stuff. What though? He'd have a name, and He'd save His people from their sin. The name Jesus, is derived from the name Joshua. Joshua in the Old Testament is pronounced Yeshua and Yeshua who was and is and will be Jesus (remember how we talked about this on Friday?) Yeshua is Jesus, Jesus was in the OT, you probably remember Him there by another Name (Yahweh: the pre-incarnate Christ). So Yeshua was the Promise that God gave to His people through the prophets and all History. Yeshua/Jesus is the one long promised Who was bringing salvation. Salvation by His blood, His death and His atonement for our sin.To help this make a little more sense, understand that the word salvation, in Hebrew, literally means “Yeshua”. Psalm 14:7 for example: "Oh, that the salvation (Yeshua) of Israel would come out of Zion! Or Psalm 51:12 “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation (Yeshua) and sustain me with a willing spirit. Gabriel says the same to Joseph and us: Jesus comes to save us; from sin, from death and the power of the Devil. But don't forget one of the other Names this Yeshua has: Emmanuel. This Savior Who is true man like us, is God with us.There's a whole lot in a Name and now you know a little more about Jesus. But lastly know this, Yeshua, Jesus, Emmanuel has come to give you a name, a family, a life, peace, joy and forgiveness. The day when the old Adam was drowned in your Baptism you were given another Name. The very name of your Lord and Savior, Christ-ian. He names you! He claims you and says that all this is rightly His has been bestowed to you. In the Name of Jesus + Amen.Stir up Your power, O Lord, and come and help us by Your might, that the sins which weigh us down may be quickly lifted by Your grace and mercy; for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.-Pastor Adam DeGroot is Pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.Audio Reflections Speaker: Rev. [51]I am the living bread which came down from heaven. Ego sum panis vivus, qui de caelo descendi. [52] If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world. Si quis manducaverit ex hoc pane, vivet in aeternum : et panis quem ego dabo, caro mea est pro mundi vita. Litigabant ergo Judaei ad invicem, dicentes : Quomodo potest hic nobis carnem suam dare ad manducandum? [54] Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. Dixit ergo eis Jesus : Amen, amen dico vobis : nisi manducaveritis carnem Filii hominis, et biberitis ejus sanguinem, non habebitis vitam in vobis. [1] Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. Amen, amen dico vobis : qui non intrat per ostium in ovile ovium, sed ascendit aliunde, ille fur est et latro. [2] But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. Qui autem intrat per ostium, pastor est ovium. [3] To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. Huic ostiarius aperit, et oves vocem ejus audiunt, et proprias ovas vocat nominatim, et educit eas. [4] And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. Et cum proprias oves emiserit, ante eas vadit : et oves illum sequuntur, quia sciunt vocem ejus. [5] But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers. Alienum autem non sequuntur, sed fugiunt ab eo : quia non noverunt vocem alienorum. [6] This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what he spoke to them. Hoc proverbium dixit eis Jesus : illi autem non cognoverunt quid loqueretur eis. [7] Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. Dixit ergo eis iterum Jesus : Amen, amen dico vobis, quia ego sum ostium ovium. [8] All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not. Omnes quotquot venerunt, fures sunt, et latrones, et non audierunt eos oves. [9] I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures. Ego sum ostium. Per me si quis introierit, salvabitur : et ingredietur, et egredietur, et pascua inveniet. [10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly. Fur non venit nisi ut furetur, et mactet, et perdat. Ego veni ut vitam habeant, et abundantius habeant. Introit: 4,Esdras 2.36,37 36: Flee the shadow of this world, receive the joyfulness of your glory: I testify my Saviour openly. 37: O receive the gift that is given you, and be glad, giving thanks unto him that hath led you to the heavenly kingdom. 36 fugite umbram saeculi huius, accipite iucunditatem gloriae vestrae. ego testor palam salvatorem meum. 37commendatum Domini accipite et iucundamini gratias agentes ei qui vos ad caelestia regna vocavit.
Today's Reading: John 3:16-20Daily Lectionary: Proverbs 3:5-24; John 11:38-57For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:17)In the Name of Jesus + Amen. Ours is a dog-eat-dog world. Selfishness, greed, lust, envy, and strife pervade our world and our own lives. It's every man, woman, and child for himself. Who's watching out for you? If you believe much of what you see tweeted, or on Instagram and Facebook, it's difficult, if not impossible to find the answer to that question. Who's watching out for you? Thankfully John addresses this crucial question, at first objectively and then subjectively. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). That's quite a BIG statement. The world is a BIG place, with BIG things happening–what about little ol' me? God sent Jesus for the whole world: That's objective justification. But who is watching out specifically for you? This is where John makes the subjective point: God didn't send His own Son to hunt you down and punish you for your sin. Far from it. The Father sent the Son to seek you out and to bear your very sin to death. He came not to condemn, no, no, no–He came to seek you. He came and took on your flesh, became like you in every way but one. Jesus your Savior was without sin, yet He humbled Himself, lowered Himself into the Jordan River and had all your sin washed onto Him! Every bit of it! He carried the full weight of it all to Calvary's Cross and put it to death with Him, and when He went down into that tomb on Good Friday your sin stayed dead in that tomb! But even before all that–remember the blood and water that flowed from His side? That blood and water was FOR YOU! His blood flowed into the chalices of all Christendom, and the water is one and the same water that was washed over you on the day you were baptized! Who's watching out for you? The same Christ Jesus who knew you even before He formed you in the womb, the same Jesus who took on your very flesh, who took all your sin and suffered your death, the same Jesus who rose as the firstborn of the dead so that you, too, would rise forever with Him on the Last Day. He's got you covered. He's watching out for you by the blood and the water, the bread and the Word, now and forever. In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. Almighty and everlasting God, You have given us grace to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity by the confession of a true faith and to worship the Unity in the power of the Divine Majesty. Keep us steadfast in this faith and defend us from all adversities; for You, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, live and reign, one God, now and forever. Amen.-Rev. Heyy My Courageous Beauties it's Wisdom Wednesday!!! My Husband aka Benny will be Joining This wisdom weds to introduce the First episode of season 4 of Courageous Beauty Podcast!!! First I want to say thank you Lord for this opportunity for allowing me and my husband to share our love for you and our life through the Holy Spirit on this platform. We you ask Lord that you continue to order our steps that our words are your words and not our own in the mighty name of Jesus Amen, Amen and Amen!! Listen, God is always up to something he is always working things out on our behalf. Even when we don't see it ,can't see, won't see it. Those are all different things. Even if it feels that we are going through a whirlwind and there is not way out trust and believe God is working out how he wants to stop the whirlwind or how he wants to take you through it. Psalms 91Psa 91:15 KJV He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. So that means that he will be with us in trouble so that is indicative that trouble will come. We have to remember the trouble doesn't last always but while you are going through we are never alone. Refer to the book of Daniel for this story: Take Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego the 3 of there were put in the firey furnace but they say a 4th person that was One like the Son of Man (Whom is Jesus!!!!) Jesus didn't turn off the fire he got in with them and it doesn't say they felt any of the pain of the fire but they came out without even the smell of smoke therefore we know God always has a way of escape for us from everything. As I always I believe new ways for us were already created even though God can do a new thing I believe it's only new to us because we were not in a position for it to be revealed to us yet. We haven't possibly gone through enough yet for God's Glory to be revealed. Refer to the book of Exodus for this story: Take the children of Israel God raised up Moses in the enemies camp to take over and to be the led to set God's people free and told Moses he would harden Pharaoh's heart so that he could show his power. If no trouble came how would we truly see what God's power could do. So trust and believe that God is always up to something for his Glory and our benefit. Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/courageous-beauty/message

Signs of warfare means God's getting ready to unleash your blessings,.your potential, straighten your path and or open the floodgates of heaven and pour you out a blessing you have not room enough to receive and so God may need to enlarge your terrorty. The emeny however, wants to try to thwart God's plan. But in these times we need to know that if we stay in God's Word he will lift up a standard which is his word that will block Satan's tactics. Trust and believe that Jesus went through all sorts of trails but he knew what the end game would be. He knew he was born to die and to conquer the world and defeat Satan's kingdom: death, hell, and the grave. So trust there is always a battle going on somewhere if not in your current situations and circumstances but in someone else's so we must prepare for war and trust that God said he would be with us in trouble. Know that trails make us stronger through Christ because when we are weak he is made strong and we get to.see and opportunity for God to move on our behalf and take out the emeny and his imps. Know that God will protect us always and know that weapons will form in some capacity of our lives but we know that with God the weapons will not prosper they will not succeed. Why? Because loves us and has planted a seed down on the instead of us that knows will grow and he will get the Glory out of our lives so he is not going to allow the emeny to completely destroy us. We have to however keep up our part in our walk with Christ and that is to stay in his word and be obedient to God in everything he asks you to do. We are not perfect and we all miss the mark but just as soon as you know you have get back up, dust yourself off, and try again!!! Sometimes it feels in life like a merry-go-round in and out of sequence, up and down and round and round but in this life everything that God will allow to happen to you, for you, and through you sets the tone of who you are and what you shall be! We have to know that God will often times in the words of Bishop T.D.Jakes put problem in front of our blessings and that our problem might be the very thing he wants to use and get the Glory out our your life. So just know whe ln trails come, victory comes, and then the blessings. I'm not saying God.cant and won't bless us without first going to trails always but what I am saying like I've often said before that God wants a return on his investment he put into creating you therefore he will by his will get Glory out of your life even if he has to use people, places, things, ideas, and events to get to and through to you. He is the Potter we are the Clay. We have have flaws but God says we are fearfully and wonderfully made so we ought to be careful judging folks and ourselves over what we don't like because we are judging God's masterpiece!!! Just know when trouble arises God is by your side and he will work it out if you let him. Your breakthrough is just that breaking through whatever obstacles were in your way. The blessing, the sugar or cherry on top is that in our breaking through and breaking chains we don't have to go at this life alone. God will never leave nor forsake us we just need to not forsake him and his will, his purpose his plan for our lifes and learn to trust in him even when we don't have a clue of the outcome!!! Thank you Father your love, your annointing, your favor, mercy, and most of your love we can't live this life without you so I rather be in your will than my own even when I have concerns about the road I might have to travel even when there are scary things along the way I know you will.see fit to comfort me through it all and I van trust that before, doing. And after you would not have changed my love so I pray my faith only stays strong in your and my love runs deep because yours is everlasting. Jana White joins me today to talk about discernment: a topic we all need to talk about and grow in as women of God. Jana and I were at Southeastern Seminary at the same time but I was didn't meet her until a couple of years ago.Jana is a wife, mom, teacher, writer, and friend.Hannah AndersonJana White on IGDiscernment article Liturgy for Discernment:Father - we know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We desperately need more of you so that we can gain a heart of wisdom. We ask that as we live in a fast-paced world, with streams of media always around us, that you would give us hearts that long to be discerning women of God. That you would show us how Christ lived a wise life. Put other women around us who love you and love your word and may they pour into our lives. Give us discernment on how we use our time and other resources Give us discernment in what we read and how it will impact our heart and lives and the lives of those around us. You desire us to be discerning women and those who love you and walk closely with you. We know that you can make us discerning and wise. We ask that now in the name of Jesus - Amen.

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, Luke 15:18 KJV It's time to rise! Time to rise is time to fight Time to rise is decision time. Time to rise is action time. Time to rise is time to put a stop to demonic activities. Time to rise is time to win. Child of God, I don't know what your situation is. I don't know what powers have held you bound or what battles you are currently fighting. It's time to rise! Time To Rise Above demonic manipulation Above ancestral covenants Above generational curses Above demonic yokes/oaths Above affliction and addiction Above depression and oppression Above Suicidal thoughts Above mental and financial poverty Above failure Above marital delay/setback Until the prodigal son came to himself and decided to arise and return home to his father, he still ate from what he fed the swine. That is living like an animal, below normal. (For anyone reading this who is still subjected to living below God's standard, today! That affliction is over in the Name of Jesus) Amen! If you sit and do nothing, nothing will happen. Until you decide that enough is enough you might remain in that situation for a longer time. RISE UP and give life and destiny a fight. RISE UP and say no to the devil RISE UP and take back what is yours RISE UP and recover all you've lost. AMEN, a customary statement at the end of a prayer or during preaching to express our agreement with what is said and the hope that it will take place. But, AMEN is much so more than just a statement.AMEN is a Person, and His Name is JESUS - Revelation 3:14 (ESV) “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation. AMEN is who God is molding you to be - Romans 8:29 (ESV) …he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son… AMEN is an attitude, a posture, a way of life.AMEN is the resounding YES to all that God says. AMEN is the response that unlocks the abundance of Heaven. We have all found ourselves in a position where we have agreed and then regretted. That car you bought that you really couldn’t afford, or that car that turned out to be a lemon. Or, that “party” you agreed to go to that involved a “great opportunity”. Or agreeing to a date that you really didn’t want to go on.Sometimes we have agreed for all the wrong reasons; to avoid an argument, because it was easier, to make someone happy. And, there are times that our yes (AMEN) is resounding but, falls to the ground the moment it comes out of our mouths. Like when we whole-heartedly agree but, really have no intention of making any changes. (Watching a weight loss show while eating a bag of Doritos). AMEN IS NOT ABOUT BEING AGREEABLE. IT IS AGREEING, EVEN WHEN IT IS THE LAST THING YOU FEEL LIKE DOING.The Bible is quick to point this out to us - James 2:18-19 (ESV) But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!Your “AMEN” is the language of faith…accompanied by works. What works? Acting on what you know that God has spoken.LIFE IS GOING TO HIT YOU HARD. EVEN KNOCK YOU DOWN.“Everyone has a plan ‘till they get punched in the mouth.” - Mike TysonIsaiah 41:10 (ESV) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (ESV) We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;AMEN Is Most important When You Have Been Knocked Down! The countdown begins when we hit the mat. We will either lay there and be counted out or we will get up and keep fighting.Your AMEN Stirs Your Heart. A Reminded Spirit is a Fighting Spirit. Our Amen makes a statement about what we believe. It is not just based upon what we see. Not like an illusion or delusion; we might really be knocked down. We might really be confused. But what do you believe? That God is for you? That He is fighting on your behalf? That no matter what he will never leave you no forsake you? That you can be healed/restores/forgiven/rescued?God’s people have always been encouraged to remind themselves of what God has done. “Teach them to your children, talk of them when you sit in your house,” “fan into flames.”AMEN Is Not Agreement with Victory But, His “Right Now” Word. It is agreeing without having any idea how it will turn out. Victory isn’t raising our hand in triumph, but just standing. ROCKY LOST THE FIGHT! His victory was just standing back up. There is always another fight. There is always another trial. We will win some battles and we might lose some. But we overcome by getting back up!So often we want to get so excited about the victory that we try to jump over the obedience. No victory is won without obedience. Consider Jesus!Jesus’ “AMEN” meant he would be knocked down on the mat and the countdown would begin.Jesus even asked the Father if there was another way. “Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done.”Your AMEN Breaks the Heart of the Enemy.Ephesians 6:13 (ESV) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.Jesus walks in on Satan’s victory party and takes his keys!Rocky eventually becomes the champ. In nearly every huge bout he gets knocked down, his opponent celebrates, and Rocky gets back up. And their spirits are shaken because he just took the worst and he is still standing.Adversity doesn’t define you. How you respond to it does. JESUS OFTEN TOLD PEOPLE TO “GET UP!” - “Get up, take up your bed and go home.” “Get up and walk.”You no doubt know what it means to be knocked down. And you may be struggling with the strength to get back up. Jesus is saying “Get up.” Right now, your “AMEN” is hearing his voice and standing to your feet. There are people in your corner rooting for you. You are not alone.
