Suicide Squad Was ist hier passiert? DCEU: Wie geht's weiter? Did anybody say Star Wars?

The team consists of Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) a 5,000 year old witch possessing the body of archaeologist June Moon. The squad is controlled by Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) a special forces operative who Waller has maneuvered into her control and his right hand samurai Katana (Karen Fukuhara) who fights with a sword that captures the souls of it's victims. Suicide Squad will be the second most hyped film of 2016 behind Star Wars Rogue One which is released later this year. There has been much conjecture about the film with rumours of re-shoots and problems with the tone and pacing of the film. But is it that bad? We recorded our first thoughts are stepping out of the cinema after an advanced screening on Wednesday night. What is Suicide Squad About? Concerned about the possibility of an evil version of Superman one day attacking the earth U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains for a top-secret mission to save the world. The team of despicable villains including Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc and other must learn to work together. Well they are actually force to worked together or there heads explode. And the villains actually aren't portrayed as all that despicable, infact they are kind of charming and you feel sorry for them. And then you have Batman's diabolical nemesis the Joker (Jared Leto) launching an evil personal agenda of his own. Did this new Joker cut the mustard? We duke it out during the podcast and agree to disagree on whether this joker sucked or not. Jono: 6/10 Jim-Bob: 7/10 Karlos: 7.25/10 This is well worth watching just so you can make up your own mind as this film will be one of those films which is really hard to rate. The Joker is really the major concern, and the use of another vortex in the damn sky, oh and the numerous number of gratuitous hot-pants shots which we lost count of during the film. It is better than Batman vs. Superman ... that is all.
