Glenn plays the portion of yesterday's press conference in which Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray read the text messages between Kirk's assassin and his trans-identifying roommate/boyfriend. ABC News reporter Matt Gutman described the text exchange between Kirk's assassin and the roommate as "touching," prompting immediate backlash. Capital Research Center investigative researcher Ryan Mauro joins to discuss why President Trump must take action against George Soros and his influence on American politics. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, WREC's Ben Ferguson fills in for Mark. Political violence is a rising trend driven by radical left extremists radicalized by the Democratic Party. Democrats, including leaders like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, are using inflammatory rhetoric—labeling Republicans as fascists, Nazis, and threats to America—to incite people against opponents like President Trump and Charlie Kirk. We are witnessing a hardcore desensitizing to the idea you can kill anyone you think is a threat to what you believe in. Also, the media echo's the Democrat Party. They won't tell you the real story of what happened to Kirk. Some in the media are even claiming that nobody on the left is cheering Kirk's death. ABC's Matt Gutman gushed over Tyler Robinson, the alleged assassin, and his transgender romance. He called Robison's text's touching and intimate. The texts read like a psycho covering for his transgender lover. In a normal world Gutman would have been fired. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they rip into ABC News over its repulsive coverage of Charlie Kirk's accused killer and slam Democrats for overwhelmingly embracing socialism. They also applaud former West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin for slamming his former Democrat colleagues who attacked our system of government in the pursuit of power.First, they welcome Sen. Manchin blasting President Obama, President Biden, and Senate Democratic leaders like Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer for systematically trying to "weaken the very guardrails that have protected our democracy for generations—all in the name of advancing their agenda." This includes tactics like killing the filibuster on nominations and trying to kill the legislative filibuster. Jim says Manchin is right to point it out. But are any Democrats listening?Next, they dig into the charges filed against the alleged murderer of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and torch ABC News reporter Matt Gutman for gushing about the “touching” text exchanges between the accused killer and his partner as the shooter seemed to confess. Jim unloads on Gutman and the entire mainstream media, which seem to have perfect clarity on right and wrong when someone on the right is accused. But when a lefty is charged, all of a sudden the media lose the plot and just find everything so confusing. Finally, they're disgusted but not surprised to find that Democrats are overwhelmingly supportive of socialism. CNN is reporting that Democrats are now a net +36 on socialism and a net -13 on capitalism. This is now the mainstream position of the Democratic Party. Karen Read Trial Aftermath: Breaking Down Albert's & Proctor's ABC Interviews Description: In this episode, we unpack two pivotal ABC 20/20 interviews that unfolded in the immediate aftermath of Karen Read's acquittal on second-degree murder charges for the 2022 death of her boyfriend, Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe. Firstly, crime scene host Matt Gutman sits down with Michael Proctor — the now-disgraced former Massachusetts State Trooper who led the original investigation and was later dismissed after a string of shocking, misogynistic text messages about Read were made public. Proctor candidly addresses every major controversy: from the crudeness of his private texts to the explosive accusations that he may have tampered with evidence—such as the taillight of Read's vehicle. He refutes all conspiratorial claims, insisting there was “no conspiracy” and that his investigative methods followed protocol, even conceding that perhaps “we could have looked at other people's cars just to say we did it” to avoid the conspiracy narrative. Secondly, we break down an insightful interview with Brian Albert, whose suburban Canton home was the scene of that tragic night when O'Keefe's body was found in the snow. Albert weighs in on the defensive theory that O'Keefe was injured inside the house—possibly during a physical altercation or dog attack—and then staged to implicate Read. His ABC segment adds emotional depth and scrutiny as he voices lingering concerns over jurors' doubt and calls the verdict “a devastating miscarriage of justice” . Through extensive analysis, this episode contrasts Proctor's steadfast defense of his legitimacy with Albert's heartfelt challenge to the acquittal. We proceed chronologically: evaluating the strongest rebuttals Proctor issues, the live reactions from both the investigator and the victim's inner circle, and how these interviews shape public and legal discourse around the case. We also assess the broader implications—how Proctor's firing and testimony may impact police accountability reforms, and whether Albert's spotlight will pressure the ongoing civil lawsuit filed by O'Keefe's family. Listeners will come away with a nuanced understanding of the emotions, contradictions, and lasting tensions that persist after one of Massachusetts' most divisive trials. This is more than a post-trial recap—it's a layered examination of power, perception, and the pursuit of justice. Karen Read, a 44-year-old woman from Mansfield, Massachusetts, who is accused of second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, John O'Keefe, broke her silence in a never-before-seen interview aired on ABC's *20/20* on Friday. In the interview, Read spoke at length about the night O'Keefe, a Boston police officer, was found dead in a snowbank outside a home in Canton after a night of drinking at two local bars. Read, whose first trial ended in a mistrial in July, recounted the moment she discovered O'Keefe's body on the morning of January 29, 2022. “As you come down Fairview, there's a bit of a decline, and it curves to the left, and my eyes are peeled, and I said, ‘He's right [expletive] there,'” she told *20/20*. Read jumped out of the car and found O'Keefe on the ground with injuries, including two black eyes. “His eyes were shut, and he had spots of blood in different areas on his face, and he was still — not stiff, but still,” she said. O'Keefe was not dressed for the blizzard conditions that night, which raised further questions during the trial about the circumstances leading to his death. The prosecution claims Read and O'Keefe had been fighting and that she struck him with her SUV after leaving a party. "Would you say that you were angry with John that night?" *20/20* host Matt Gutman asked. "Yes," Read admitted. However, the defense argues that O'Keefe was beaten up and dragged outside after an altercation in the basement of fellow officer Brian Albert's home. The defense contends that O'Keefe's injuries were inconsistent with being hit by a car. They allege that O'Keefe was beaten and bitten by a dog inside the house before being left outside to die. Read went on to suggest a cover-up involving other officers present at the scene, telling Gutman, “Because he's dead,” when asked why anyone would want to conceal the truth. Prosecutors have faced several setbacks during the case, including a mix-up involving surveillance footage and a Massachusetts State Police trooper being suspended after inappropriate text messages surfaced. Despite these issues, the prosecution is moving forward with a retrial set for January 27, 2025. Judge Beverly Cannone recently denied Read's request to dismiss the second-degree murder charge and another charge, signaling that the case will proceed. In addition to the criminal charges, O'Keefe's family has filed a civil lawsuit against Read and the two bars where the couple had been drinking that night. The family argues that Read's defense has “outrageously created a false narrative” about O'Keefe's death and seeks damages for both compensatory and punitive losses. O'Keefe's cousin, Renay, expressed the family's grief during the *20/20* interview. “He was lost in this whole circus. And I think none of us want him to be lost. I think that's the saddest part of this whole situation, that he's not remembered as who he is and who he was during this whole thing,” she said. As both sides prepare for the retrial, the case continues to captivate public attention, with many eagerly awaiting the outcome. For now, the legal proceedings are moving forward, and the civil lawsuit will likely follow after the criminal trial concludes. #KarenRead #JohnOKeefe #20/20Interview #SecondDegreeMurder #BostonPolice #CantonMassachusetts #TrueCrime Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE?
