Today's funny podcast kicks off with important cultural education: what exactly is a punchki (and why does it sound like something you shouldn't Google at work)? It's International Pancake Day, it's March 4th (the only holiday that's also a command), and somehow that spirals into Cardinals ticket math, dynamic pricing debates, and the realization that yes — $29 for unlimited ballpark hot dogs will absolutely test your personal integrity. Then we unleash one of the most chaotic listener games in show history: Two Truths and a Lie. Disturbed superfans who've never seen Disturbed. Woof Wednesday regulars who may or may not be hoarding dogs. A dude slimed on Nickelodeon who also traveled the country playing competitive dodgeball. We don't just guess — we overanalyze like it's a true crime doc.Meanwhile, Rafe returns from Trailer Trash Tammy's Pontoon 2 cruise with tales of:A completely full cruise jail.A man under house arrest at sea.Moo-moo themed fights. And a potential invitation to be indoctrinated into the Blackfoot tribe (yes, really).Somehow in the middle of all this, we also break down HBO's “DTF St. Louis,” debate whether St. Louis suburbs really look like Atlanta, and question why every fictional TV station west of the Mississippi still starts with a “W.” We're looking at you, Hollywood. There's celebrity chaos (Christina Applegate ditching Brad Pitt for Sebastian Bach), Twisted Sister news, casino roulette stories, and enough side quests to make your GPS give up entirely. If you're here for a funny podcast that blends daily comedy, pop culture commentary, weird news, St. Louis pride, and just enough chaos to make you question your life choices — congratulations. You found your people. This funny podcast is part morning show, part group therapy, and part “who let these guys have microphones?”And yes… we absolutely try to generate Rafe's Native American name on-air using a questionable internet quiz. Today on Like It Matters Radio, Mr. Black is going to be talking about Patterns. The focus of today’s hour of Power is the 4 Cs of Leadership. We are shaped by our thinking. The outcomes of our lives cannot be better than our Pattern of thought. It is the patterns in our lives that get us what we are getting! Many patterns are unconscious. It is hard to deal with anything at the unconscious level, so we must bring it into the consciousness so it can be dealt with. Today’s pattern is about staying committed, being productive and handling whatever the world throws at us. In life obstacles are called; Death, disease, doubts about the future based on the past, dire pain, disappointments, depression, devaluing and many delusions. In my training environments obstacles are called, Pontoon boats, acid rivers, spider webs, fire, frustration, and yellow ropes and notes! As a Warrior, I would rather be prepared for a battle that does not take place, rather than not be prepared for one that does! The Pattern that Mr. Black will discuss today is the Pattern from his Leadership Breakthrough 2 class- Leadership Adventure! You will hear from graduates who have just completed the great Adventure and the impact it has made on their lives. Listeners will be introduced to the successful pattern of moving a group of leaders through the ups and downs of business and life. Commitment, Communication, Clear Vision and Consensus, is the Pattern being pushed today! Once those are in place then we add the +1, Consistency. Tune into Like it Matters Radio where listeners are inspired and equipped to LIVE LIKE IT MATTERS- it is the Way of Warrior! This week we took the chance to get out of the studio and do a little fishing beforehand so we did the podcast on the pontoon from the lake. We had a good old fashioned fish off between Joey and Carter and debated our asses off about whether you'd rather hunt solo or with a group all the time. Tough to imagine only being able to do one but for the sake of the argument we present our cases. We also draft our best reasons for being late to a hunt! Adam welcomes back notable comedian Brad Williams for a wild ride with stories about wives punching men in their sleep, ayahuasca imaginings, and Adam with a hilarious dating story from his youth. They volley various amusing stories about people who never take responsibility, and we learn about a time that Adam had to wear a helmet to and from his office because of a maniacal bird. Next, Chris introduces the news with a story that's relevant to Brad and his sentiments concerning an unveiling of the new ‘Snow White' movie and how it ditched using dwarves for their film. Chris then shows an animated video of a brawl in Alabama involving men from a pontoon boat and a security guard, as well as a young teen who jumps to the rescue. To finish the show, Adam welcomes visionary and good samaritan Dave Fishwick who, is not only a self made millionaire, but had a Netflix movie made about him and his story. He created a community bank to assist people in his community and gave loans to businesses who were struggling to get help from conventional banks. Dave says, ‘People who rob people go to prison, banks who rob people get bonuses'.
