I 10-året for flygtningekrisen genfortæller vi historien bag billedet af 'Spyttemanden'. Vi taler også om Højesterets dramatiske opgør med efterretningstjenesterne, og så skal vi til autokratisk topmøde i Beijing   Husker du billedet af Spyttemanden? Ham, som stod på en motorvejsbro i Rødby og spyttede efter de flygtninge, som gik nede på vejen? Billedet blev et af de mest ikoniske billeder på flygtningekrisen i 2015, men det fik også store konsekvenser for den kvinde på billedet, som fejlagtigt blev forvekslet med spyttemandens kone – og det blev skyld i både søvnløse timer og flere års dårlig samvittighed for Informations fotograf Sigrid Nygaard, der stod bag kameraet. I anledning 10-året fortæller hun hele historien om 'Spyttemanden' – og den mediestorm, som siden fulgte. Ugens sensationelle dom i Samsam-sagen er et led i et dramatisk opgør om retsstaten, og budskabet fra Højesteret til efterretningstjenesterne er ikke til at misforstå: Ret ind. Tirsdag beordrede landets højesteret – helt undtagelsesvis – vores to efterretningstjenester til offentligt at gå ud og indrømme, at Ahmed Samsam har arbejdet for dem som agent. Den højeste retsinstans har dermed tvunget efterretningstjenesterne til at gøre noget, som de normalt aldrig gør. Hvis den indrømmelse var faldet for nogle år siden, da Ahmed Samsam tryglede og bad efterretningstjenesterne om hjælp, var han sikkert sluppet for flere års fængsel. Så hvordan endte vi her? Mette Frederiksen vandt armlægningen mod Lars Løkke Rasmussen. Når regeringen skal nå til enighed om en økonomisk plan, bliver det ikke - som Løkke ønskede - en gigantisk plan, der rækker langt ud i fremtiden. I stedet har han selv fremlagt sin plan for danskernes pension, og det er ifølge Løkkes tidligere rådgiver et perfekt afsæt til en valgkamp, hvor Løkke så kan tørne sammen med Mette Frederiksen. En af årtiets vigtigste højesteretsdomme om forholdet mellem borger og stat. Sådan karakteriserer professor i forfatningsret Frederik Waage den dom, som syv Højesteretsdommere netop nu sidder og forbereder, inden thi kendes for ret den 2. september. Dommen er endnu et skridt i udviklingen af Grundlovens § 63, og det er historien om borgerens ret og statens immunitet. Advokaterne leverede deres argumenter den 19. august, og Waage var en af få professorer, der var til stede som tilhører i Højesteret, hvor han var stærkt begejstret over det håndværk og de argumenter, henholdsvis statens og Samsams advokater leverede. Kernen i sagen, og det der helt overordnet er på spil, bliver udlagt af professoren, der også forklarer, hvorfor han anser beslutninger, som retssystemet allerede har taget – selvom de ikke har taget stilling til Samsams fundamentale spørgsmål – som retshistoriske. You can retire with rental properties faster than you think. That's right, toss out the “wait until I'm sixty-five and HOPE I have enough” mentality.
