Hey hey Thrive Tribe! My session with Dr. Sharita Gaskins-Tillett was nothing short of insightful. I gleaned so much from the Boss Lady Dream Builder founder's wisdom and progressive view of Self-Care. We have been socialized as moms to be all things to everyone but ourselves. Our minds have a way of sabotaging us and lying to us that everyone else we care about matters more than us. Did you know that just because you think it doesn't mean it's true? It is so important that we learn to investigate our thought patterns because our lives take the shape of our thoughts and decisions. Dr. Sharita challenges women and moms to constantly give ourselves to change, to evolve. Dr Sharita runs ‘'A weekend for me'' retreats that help women reinvent themselves and innovate ways that will continuously improve their lives. She emphasizes the need for a like-minded community that should push you to become the greatest version of yourself. As you improve yourself, so does everything about you. Refuse to settle. This summer we are working our way through the Milspouse Transformation Series, an entire series focused on small shifts you can make today as a military spouse, that can transform your life and lead to some really big results. Each week, we focus on one particular area of our life that will help us truly live a life that we're excited about, one with more meaning and less overwhelm. There's one aspect of our health and well-being that we haven't talked as much about on the podcast. This is perhaps because we don't always have great language for it. However, research indicates that it deeply impacts our mental and emotional well-being. So today we're diving into our spiritual health. I sit down with Dr. Sharita Knobloch (also a milspouse) to discuss her research on religion, spirituality, and military spouse mental health. I can't wait to share this conversation with you! It's natural as we get to the end of a year to think ahead about what we might expect for the next twelve months. You may have already made your plans. But I find it's also helpful to hear what the stars have to say about it. That's why I've made it a tradition to end each season of Dream Power Radio with a visit with astrologer and numerologist Sharita Star. If you listened to last year's episode, Sharita told us to expect more of the uncertainty that's cast a shadow over the world for the past few years. And major astrological events did in fact coincide with headline making events such as the start of the War in Ukraine and the eruption of the Kilauea volano, to name a few. So what does she see in 2023? Sharita tells us:•Why the return of Pluto will continue to shake up this planet•When it's not a good time to start a new business•How America's personal year affects you•Why Mars retrograde is important and when it will happen•What you can do to create serenity in your life•And much much moreJoin us for this powerful episode of Dream Power Radio to see how and why the movements of the planets can help you plan the best times to create successful outcomes for you.
