Send us a textThis is 20 minutes of a 2 hour show. Join the patreon for full show link below. The first part is gossip about Teresa Giudice new show that has not been announced. We then move on to Bo Dietl article people asked me to read "Bo Dietl interviewed by feds amid probe into ex-Adams adviser Tim Pearson" What does this mean for Luis Ruelas affiliation with him? I then start to highlight Hollywood Demon Ep 4 which is the Housewives scandals episode. This includes Danielle Staub's ex, child hood friends of Jen Shah and a revisit of some of her victims, Teresa Giudice cops discussing her case and Taylor Armstrong talking about Russel Armstrong's death on the season I was her best friend on the show. I take you through the highlights and the receipts. I also listen to Taylor Armstrong's story and tell you how it differs to what was happening at the time that I was told and witnessed and what was true from my perspective. You will find this very interesting and is exclusive content as you know I was friends with Russel and Taylor at this time and was privy to what happened. We discuss Tiger 21 club and the possibility of murder etc. I then wrap up the show with not being able to find Kenya's live she was supposed to do Friday. Me confirming RHOSLC Meredith was not suspended and not from Brice Sanders (wink) and fans wanting me to call out that Teresa's story of her indictment gets further from the truth as time goes on and in light of Hollywood Demons cop testimony hard to stomach.  To sign up and listen to the full episode click here, it is only $6.00 per month. https://www.patreon.com/DishingDramaWithDanaWilkey Support the showDana is on Cameo!Follow Dana: @Wilkey_Dana$25,000 Song - Apple Music$25,000 Song - SpotifyTo support the show and listen to full episodes, become a member on PatreonTo learn more about sponsorships, email DDDWpodcast@gmail.comDana's YouTube Channel

Despite calls to resign, Mayor Adams says he's not 'stepping down, he's stepping up'

This week, Mayor Eric Adams made it clear that he has no plans to step down — even with a federal indictment hanging over his head. The exodus of his top aides continued, as advisor Tim Pearson became the fifth high-ranking member of the administration to announce their departure in just three weeks. Are the recent changes a response to a warning from Gov. Kathy Hochul? NY1 political reporters Bobby Cuza, Kelly Mena and statehouse reporter Bernadette Hogan discuss the likelihood of Adams surviving the indictment and the changes within his administration in the past week. After that, much has been made about the mayor's legal strategy. His lawyers tried to get the bribery charge against him thrown out and accused prosecutors of leaking details of the case. The feds, meanwhile, say it's possible the mayor will face even more charges and that it's likely others will be indicted. The "Off Topic" team looks at celebrity lawyer Alex Spiro's strategy thus far and discuss how the feds still haven't cracked the password on the mayor's phone. Four top members of the Adams administration were the subject of search warrants this week, with some of their phones seized. That included First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright, Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks, Police Commissioner Edward Caban and Adams aide Tim Pearson. NY1 investigative reporter Courtney Gross and political reporter Bobby Cuza discuss the latest. After that, Labor Day weekend in NYC means the West Indian American Day Parade. The carnival and its preceding party, known as Jouvert, celebrates West Indian culture and heritage. This year that parade turned violent; five people were shot and one of them died. Despite that, Mayor Adams said the celebration was safe. Statehouse reporter Bernadette Hogan joined the team to discuss the city's response to the tragedy. And finally, a former aide to two New York governors was charged Tuesday with acting as a secret agent of the Chinese government, allegedly trying to advance China's agenda. The “Off Topic” team looks at how Governor Hochul has reacted to this surprise allegation of espionage. Leave a message: 212-379-3440 Email: yourstoryny1@charter.com

Technical challenges and client relationships are freely shared in this weekly podcast. For our “cold open,” listen in on our candid chat about the work that goes into producing a weekly show for nine years, how we share the workload, and what we hope to get back from our community. We discuss the great response to our recent Patreon-only show with Tim Pearson. Joe recaps some of the recent Patreon-only episodes that supporters have enjoyed recently, including Mistakes and Adventures in Billing, Rates & Service Offerings with Tim Pearson of CreativeTechs (mentioned above), an interview with Richard Wingfield of GObytes and Envision Design about productivity, organization, and time management, and an upcoming episode about client frustrations. Jerry brings up email hosts and we discuss Microsoft 365 vs. other options like Fastmail, Rackspace, etc. Joe describes an issue helping a client recover their Microsoft 365 hosted email account when the client-managed admin account was compromised and the recovery email address was changed to a non-existent email address. Sam shares a personal story about someone near and dear to him being scammed and having funds taken. How can we help guide clients to evaluate scams accurately? Business idea that probably already exists: a website to forward your emails to in order to determine if it's a scam. Could something like that work for phone calls too? Wouldn't it be great if we had stories to share with clients to motivate them to care more about their own online security? Send us your stories! We hope to see some of them in an upcoming TidBITS Content Network article. As Adam Engst says, “People respond better to narrative than nagging.” Speaking of helping people understand the importance of security, Joe wants to remind listeners about honest.security (by our supporter Kolide) and the 5 Tenets of Honest Security.

He helped bankroll two Presidential campaigns before he found himself on a ticket, winning and serving under Benjamin Harrison. He would get along with the former General, but he would disappoint him on one important vote. He would also be one of the few vice presidents to be more successul after holding the office. And as our guest Tim Pearson, the author of Second Fiddle, tells us he had a big role in the construction of The Statue of Liberty.

ABOUT THE WINELANDS #2 - An interview with Tim Pearson owner of Seven Springs Winery, South Africa Seven Springs Vineyard is a premium wine producer, situated on the R320 Hemel en Aarde Valley road, between the seaside town of Hermanus and the spa town of Caledon, in the picturesque Western Cape, South Africa. The vineyard nestles between Shaws Mountain to the north and the Teslaarsdal Mountain Range to the south, with Walker Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond these mountains. It is this oceanic influence, coupled with our shale derived soils, known locally as Bokkeveld Shale, that gives our vines the potential to produce exceptional grapes from both north and south facing vineyards. Noble varieties, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and Pinot Noir, have been planted to express the full potential of each cultivar. Monroe's Vice President is known for maybe two things.  A park in the East Village of New York City, and that he was a drunk.  Yet, as we discuss with Tim Pearson, the author of Second Fiddle, The Strange, Sick, Silly Sad and Soused Men We Elected Vice President a book about Vice Presidents (highly recommended), there's much more to Daniel D. Tompkins than that.  He was also a democratic superstar who defeated older aristocrats, prepared New York's defense in the War of 1812, and ended slavery in New York.  Music from Lee Rosevere in this episode and Chris Novembrino.
