Catherine (Space and Time) breaks down why blockchains alone can't power complex apps—and how a verifiable, decentralized database with ZK proofs closes the gap for enterprises, devs, and AI agents. We cover: what SxT is, how its patented ZK approach offloads compute to a single node and proves correctness on-chain, why institutional adoption is sticky, and marketing tactics that actually work in Web3 (what to outsource vs keep in-house). She also shares the Indonesia education rollout (UGM + Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison/IOH), token-powered payments, and what she'd do with unlimited community budget.Key timestamps (YouTube format)[00:00:00] Opening clip: From “future of money” to “verifiable data for smart contracts” [00:01:00] Live at Token2049: who Catherine is and what we cover [00:02:00] Origin story: joining Space and Time to solve crypto's database gap [00:03:00] Mission: empower devs/enterprises/AI agents with verifiable data [00:04:00] Why chains ≠ databases: limits, complexity, and enterprise SLAs [00:05:00] The core innovation: patented ZK proofs for database compute [00:05:45] How it works (plain English): single-node compute, on-chain verification [00:06:30] Catherine's background: technical marketing roots → Web3 [00:07:00] Founder tip: what to outsource vs keep internal (PR, events, community) [00:08:00] Campaigns that win: enterprise/institutional stories beat gimmicks [00:09:00] Example: Microsoft Fabric integration momentum[00:10:00] Listening to the market: community as your feedback engine [00:11:00] Indonesia rollout: IOH partnership and 100k+ students onboarding [00:12:00] UGM framework: verifiable diplomas/records; SXT as payment rail [00:13:00] Longevity question: decentralization and community node operators [00:15:00] If starting today: what they'd build vs leverage in the ecosystem [00:16:00] Why institutional demand is slow but sticky (and good for cycles) [00:17:00] Competing for attention vs building fundamentals and partnerships [00:18:00] What Space and Time needs now: builders to ship with verifiable data [00:19:00] Who they admire: Chainlink's dual GTM (community + enterprise) [00:20:00] Unlimited budget thought experiment: country leads and community depth [00:20:45] Advice to community managers: shared values, inclusion, tight feedback loops [00:21:30] Close: links, how to try SxT, and why this matters for Web3 buildersConnecthttps://www.spaceandtime.io/https://twitter.com/SpaceandTimeDBhttps://discord.gg/spaceandtimeDB https://www.linkedin.com/in/catherinehdaly/https://www.linkedin.com/company/space-and-time-db/DisclaimerNothing mentioned in this podcast is investment advice and please do your own research. At the Crexendo UGM, Doug Gaylor, President & COO of Crexendo, told Technology Reseller News Publisher Doug Green that AI is the next industry “game changer”—not just for cost savings, but for making money. Gaylor outlined how Crexendo's ecosystem now includes pre-integrated, ready-to-sell AI applications—such as an AI receptionist—that partners can brand, lightly tailor, and deploy quickly. “It's not about how they save money with AI—it's how they make more money with AI,” he said, citing examples like a 15-person HVAC firm in Phoenix using AI to book, reschedule, and triage calls 24/7, driving more completed jobs and higher dispatch efficiency. Gaylor emphasized that these AI services layer onto Crexendo's concurrent-use UCaaS model, enabling partners to widen margins versus per-seat competitors and expand account value. The typical customer paying about $350/month could grow to $500/month with AI-enabled workflows—“a win for the end customer, a win for our partners, and a win for Crexendo,” he noted. He also highlighted hospitality use cases (e.g., guest services requests, spa scheduling, towel deliveries) where instant responses boost satisfaction while human associates focus on higher-value tasks. The UGM itself reflected strong momentum, with record attendance and sponsorship and partners asking for Gaylor's slides to brief their teams. Looking beyond the Crexendo community, Gaylor invited BroadSoft and MetaSwitch operators to consider migrating, pointing to multiple recent conversions and asserting that the move delivers gains in technology, cost structure, and partnership support. At the Crexendo UGM, Jeff Korn, CEO of Crexendo, spoke with Doug Green, Publisher of Technology Reseller News, about the company's record growth, customer-first philosophy, and expanding global capabilities. The conversation took place at the historic Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach — a fitting venue for a company celebrating both legacy and innovation. The event marked a major milestone as Crexendo approached (and soon after surpassed) seven million users, underscoring its status as one of the fastest-growing platform providers in the communications industry. “We're the fastest-growing platform provider in the country,” Korn said. “Our growth is driven by the best people, products, and service in the industry — bar none.” Korn attributes much of the company's success to its “sessions, not seats” pricing model, which allows partners to pay only for what is actually used — a flexibility especially valuable in large environments such as hospitality. “Our model provides real value,” he explained. “If your phones aren't in use, you're not paying for idle capacity. It's simple, fair, and efficient.” Beyond its pricing innovation, Crexendo continues to invest heavily in open APIs and its EVP program, a new company store where licensees and developers can access or offer third-party applications to customize and extend the NetSapiens platform. “We're giving our partners limitless possibilities to differentiate,” Korn said. “It's an ecosystem that keeps growing every year — just look at the number of vendors and integrations showcased here at the UGM.” Korn also highlighted the company's global expansion powered by its partnership with Oracle Cloud. “We can now turn up an instance in one or two days and meet data sovereignty requirements anywhere in the world,” he said. “That capability has already enabled us to serve customers in regions like Africa — and we're just getting started.” At the heart of Crexendo's success, Korn emphasized, is a commitment to service and community. “We are a company of service,” he said. “We listen, we act, and we care about every one of our licensees. Our success is built on their success.” To learn more about Crexendo's UCaaS and NetSapiens platform solutions, visit www.crexendo.com.
At the Crexendo UGM, Dave Michels, Principal Analyst & Founder of TalkingPointz, sat down with Doug Green, Publisher of Technology Reseller News, to unpack “UCaaS Mobility 3” — a pragmatic, mobile-first model that moves enterprise calling from over-the-top apps to the cellular layer itself. Michels framed three generations of UCaaS mobility. Mobility 1 (find-me/follow-me) forwarded calls but split voicemail and caller ID. Mobility 2 (OTT softphone apps) worked well on strong internet — but faltered in truly mobile conditions (highway handoffs, variable coverage), pushing users back to personal cell numbers. Mobility 3 fixes this by placing the enterprise line on the SIM/eSIM: users choose business or personal at dial time, and enterprise calls ride native cellular voice for reliability, with full logging, recording, and policy control. The result: intuitive smartphone use (native dialer/contacts), optional UCaaS app, and clean work/personal separation without MDM intrusiveness. Michels highlighted why this matters now: Reliability on the move: Native cellular voice eliminates OTT fragility in transit. Compliance & CX: Enterprise calls and texts are captured and governed (finance, healthcare, education), and contact centers can transfer to subject-matter experts without losing recording/analytics. Frontline & deskless workers: Mobility-first roles (e.g., field services) can finally get enterprise-grade mobile that “just works.” Simplicity for IT & MSPs: One number can move across hard phone, soft client, and smartphone; less training and fewer behavior changes. Carrier convergence: With MVNO models (e.g., Crexendo's newly announced Xtend approach), service providers can bundle meetings, UCaaS, messaging, calling, and cellular — even globally — under a single brand and bill. Looking forward, Michels envisions “no more softphones” for many roles: users keep one phone, one dialer, two identities (business/personal), and enterprises preserve governance and data for AI-assisted analytics. For MSPs and resellers at UGM, the message was clear: Mobility 3 is a near-term, standard approach that elevates UCaaS into true mobile telephony, expands deal size and stickiness, and opens regulated and frontline segments. Explore more of Michels' analysis at TalkingPointz.
At the Crexendo UGM, Jonathon Alarcon, Senior Director of Technology, and Jake Jacoby, CEO of TELCLOUD, joined Doug Green, Publisher of Technology Reseller News, to discuss the company's channel-driven approach to modernizing analog infrastructure. With the copper network being decommissioned, TELCLOUD is helping partners capture new revenue by replacing POTS lines with smart, compliant, and resilient connectivity solutions. “We transform copper,” said Jacoby. “We're absolutely making analog great again for our partners. There's real opportunity in POTS one last time.” He explained that TELCLOUD's solutions enable MSPs and telecom providers to modernize elevator lines, fire alarms, blue-light phones, and other regulated endpoints—without compromising reliability or compliance. Alarcon, who has deep expertise in life-safety communications, emphasized how the company's technology supports critical applications. “Every elevator, every fire alarm, every emergency system still needs a phone line to stay compliant,” he said. “What we've done is create a platform that meets and exceeds those requirements while giving our partners new capabilities for video, data, and monitoring.” At the heart of this transformation is TELCLOUD's new POTSCAST line of devices, launched at UGM. These multi-purpose units use cellular connectivity and PoE backup to ensure continuous operation—even during power outages—and can stream video from elevator cameras directly to central monitoring stations. TELCLOUD's infrastructure is UL listed and adheres to NFPA and NEC standards, making it both compliant and future-proof. Equally important, TELCLOUD's model is 100% channel-focused. The company empowers partners to bring these services to their own customers under their own brands, offering either full-service white-label delivery—including porting, billing, and compliance—or flexible integration into existing telco and MSP environments. “We don't sell direct,” Jacoby noted. “We empower our partners to deliver compliant, high-value solutions to their end customers.” As a platinum sponsor of the conference, TELCLOUD's presence at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach drew attention for both its technical innovation and its signature “Make Analog Great Again” branding—a lighthearted nod to the serious business opportunity behind POTS transformation. For many partners, the discussion was a reminder that the analog world still holds enormous potential, and that modernization doesn't have to mean abandoning the trusted systems that keep people safe. At the Crexendo UGM, Jon Brinton, Chief Revenue Officer at Crexendo, joined Doug Green, Publisher of Technology Reseller News, for an in-depth conversation about the company's expanding ecosystem, its partner-driven growth, and the innovations shaping the NetSapiens platform. The annual Crexendo User Group Meeting (UGM) has become one of the most anticipated gatherings in the communications industry — and this year set new records, with over 570 registered attendees and 66 sponsors. “It just keeps getting bigger and better,” said Brinton. “Our community is highly engaged and excited about what's next for the NetSapiens platform.” Held at the iconic Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, the event combined historical elegance with a modern focus on AI, customer value, and partner profitability. Crexendo sessions featured topics such as business valuation, AI-driven applications, and building company equity, reflecting the company's commitment to providing immediate, actionable solutions rather than distant roadmaps. “We're focused on what partners can deploy now — within 30 days,” Brinton explained. “Our goal is to deliver AI applications and customer insights that add measurable value and drive higher average revenue per user. This isn't theoretical. It's about being market-ready today.” Brinton also highlighted Crexendo's evolving AI strategy, including integrations that leverage vCons to make conversational data actionable. “We're seeing AI as a force for customer value — not just for network management,” he said. “It's about helping service providers differentiate, add intelligence to their offers, and improve outcomes for their customers.” The UGM showcased a thriving partner ecosystem, where collaboration and community remain central. “Our success is tied to our partners' success,” Brinton noted. “They're growing at double the rate of the market. This event is about equipping them with the tools, partnerships, and insights to keep that momentum going.” To learn more about Crexendo and the NetSapiens platform, visit www.crexendo.com or www.netsapiens.com.
We were happy to be able to take part in the Epic UGM conference in Verona, WI this year. If you missed it, be sure to check out all the Epic UGM announcements that we covered. In that article, we kind of glossed over the fact that Epic was working on over 100 AI projects. We did that partially because Epic didn't put too much focus on it in their UGM keynote. However, it was clear that AI was going to be an integral part of many of the things that Epic was doing going forward. With that in mind, we wanted to learn more about Epic's approach to AI, so we sat down with Sean McGunigal, Director of Artificial Intelligence at Epic during the user conference. When God Doesn't - The Book of Habakkuk Week #2 "Questioning God in the Midst of Suffering" Text: Habakkuk 1:12–2:5 Topics: Questions, Suffering, Uncertainty, Expectations, Waiting, Faith. Wrestling, Objections Big Idea of the Message: We Must Be Prepared to Suffer Well in this Broken and Sinful World. Application Point: 1.Remembering Who God is (Hab 1:12-17) 2.Waiting on God's Promises (Hab 2:1) 3.Trusting God by Faith (Hab 2:2-4) Discussion Questions: What is one thing that stood out to you from this week's message? Remembering Who God is (Hab 1:12-17) Habakkuk remembers who God is and honestly wrestles with questions and expectations Describe a time when a person or event did not meet your expectations? How did it impact your life? How did it make you feel? Discuss a time when God did not meet your expectations? How did it impact your life? How did it make you feel? How can our expectations in life toward God, people, and circumstances be a hindrance? How do you discern the difference between healthy and unhealthy expectations? In order to hold on firmly to our faith, we must let go of our expectations of how God works in situations and in answer to our prayers. What are some expectations of God and things you want him to do that you need to let go of? Waiting on God's Promises (Hab 2:1) Habakkuk waits for God to answer his prayers with patience and perspective. Describe a time in your life when you had to practice patience and the results of that patience. How can we cultivate the virtue of Christian patience in our own lives? What opportunities is God giving you to practice waiting on Him? Habakkuk goes to a tower or ramparts depending on your translation. Habakkuk goes somewhere specific to meet with God. Do you have a certain place you like to go to meet with God? Why do you think Jesus would command us to have a private prayer closet to meet with God? (Matthew 6:6) When we are suffering, we can often get hyper focused on ourselves and forget what God is doing in the world and within all of human history. What are some practices that can help us to gain a wider perspective and draw us out of ourselves and our own current suffering and uncertainty? Trusting God by Faith (Hab 2:2-4) Habakkuk receives word from God that justice will come in time but until then we live by faith. We defined Biblical Faith as 1. Intellect/Knowledge (Knowing the Truth of God's Character and Promises) 2. Emotional/Acceptance (Internalizing and Believing Truth for Ourselves) 3. Will/Obedience (Trusting and Living with Courage, Loyalty, and Obedience toward God). Given this definition, how is faith not a "blind faith" or a "leap in the dark"? What the difference between Biblical faith and Believing that God exists if even the demons believe that God exists? (James 2:19) How can we personally develop and cultivate our faith (Knowledge, Trust, and Obedience) in our lives this next week? How can we pray for one another to grow in what we've learned this week? (Remembering, Waiting, Trusting in Faith) Worship Service Video from Sunday, November 6th https://youtu.be/h5uFUW7ICw0

When God Doesn't - The Book of Habakkuk Week #1 "When Life Doesn't Make Sense" Text: Habakkuk 1:1–11 Topics: Questions, Wrestling, Objections, Frustration Big Idea of the Message: God is big enough for our questions and our objections; he invites us to bring them to him in dialogue and to trust him with them. Application Point: When we are real and honest with God and tell him what's on our hearts, he will lead us on a path that matures and deepens our faith. Discussion Questions: What is one thing that stood out to you from this week's message? Have you ever had a season when you questioned whether God saw or cared about what was going on in your life? Tell us about it. Why do you think we sometimes struggle to admit that we're frustrated with God? Can you think of other people in the Bible who struggled with what God was doing? How did they handle it? What was the outcome? When something difficult happens, or when people feel like God isn't listening, they typically do one of two things: run from God in anger or run toward God in vulnerability. Why is it important to stay in dialogue with God through difficult seasons? How can we pray for you?

"The Compassion of God" Jonah Week #4 Text: Jonah 4:1–11 Topic: Grace, Anger, Sovereignty, Mission Big Idea of the Message: God uses a vivid object lesson to teach Jonah about his sovereignty over creation and compassion towards sinners. Application Point: God will lovingly put you in situations and places where your comfort and desires are pressed, so that they might conform to his plan for your life. Discussion Questions: What is one thing that stood out to you from this week's message? Why is Jonah still angry, and who is he angry with? What do we learn through the contrast of creation's obedience (the wind and the plant) versus Jonah's disobedient heart? What do we learn about God's character through his patience and persistence with Jonah? Why is God still concerned with one rebellious prophet when a whole city just repented? How can I pray for you?
Announcements New Time and New Location - Rainier Valley Church is now located at 6020 Beacon Ave S and gathers on Sundays at 4pm for worship and 5:30 for dinner together. Fall-Kick Off - Sunday, September 25th. Mark your Calendars for our Fall BBQ kick-off event. Ice Breaker Questions What were your thoughts and impressions on the new time and location for Rainier Valley Church? Now that our church is gathering at 4pm on Sundays, how will we create new patterns of rest, worship and fellowship on the Lord's Day? How does the move to Beacon Hill give us new opportunities? (carpools, CG brunch, bringing food for dinner, hanging out afterwards at a local restaurant?) Loving One Another (1 Tim 5:1-2) - What are practical ways that we can honor older men and women and fulfill the command of Romans 13:7 to “show honor to whom honor is owed” within our church family? How can we live-out the Biblical call to treat young men and women as our own brothers and sisters? Why does Paul go out of his way to command Timothy to practice both brotherly love towards younger women as well as purity within those relationships? How can we maintain the balance of closeness and care yet appropriate boundaries and purity within our spiritual family? Practical Ways of Loving One Another Bring something to share for dinner on Sunday afternoons at Church. Get connected with a Community Group or Start a new CG. Build new rhythms around people (Movie nights, hangouts, BBQs, coffee dates, etc) Serving Our Neighbors (1 Tim 5:3-6) - Paul calls Timothy and the church in Ephesus to honor widows who are truly widows and it's declared in Psalm 68:5 that God himself is a “Father of the fatherless and protector of Widows” so how can we as a church family serve our neighbors? Who are the widows and orphans in your life? What would it look like for you to honor them? Paul encourages families to take responsibility for the elderly in their own families. How should the Christian faith impact our family? In 1 Timothy 5:5-6, Paul contrasts two different types of widows. Why is it important for the church to assess the character of those we help and how can certain types of helping actually hurt people by enabling more destructive lifestyle choices? Practical Ways of Serving our Neighbors Identifying the Widows and Orphans in your social circles (Those in need) Volunteers to serve, tutoring kids or help with child care at UGM's Hope Place Volunteering to go out with the UGM's Search & Rescue Teams to serve our homeless neighbors Strengthening Our Families (1 Tim 5:7-8) - Why is the family so important to God? How does strengthening our families enable us to serve those outside of our families? Why would not providing for the needs of our family be like denying the Christian faith and functioning like an unbeliever? How is our family living in light of the call to be fruitful and multiply (Gen 1:18) and in what ways are we nourishing and cherishing one another (Eph 5:28-30)? How have you seen God uses healthy families to love others, preach the gospel and serve their neighbors and the nations? Practical Ways of Strengthening Our Families Identifying the best ways we can practically support and encourage one another. Creating times of family worship, bible reading/discussion, prayer together. Serving together as a family within the church and out in the community.
