In this episode of the Foundher Series, Carrie sits down with Emma Lewis, an author in The Lighthouse Project, Volume 2: Beautiful Chaos. Her chapter, Believe in Your Wildest Dreams, is more than just words—it's a testament to resilience, self-belief, and transformation. An "old soul" who grew up fast, Emma carries a lifetime of wisdom shaped by lived experience. From navigating childhood in survival mode to redefining a trauma, she has turned her journey into a gift—guiding others as a life coach to break free from their past and step into their soul expansion. At just 16, Emma found herself at a Tony Robbins event, absorbing the energy of a room filled with possibility. That pivotal moment ignited a fire within her: I can do the brave things. Through strength, courage, and an unshakable belief in herself, she rewrote the narrative of her life—not as a victim, but as a creator. Emma opens up about healing from trauma, the power of taking radical responsibility, and why true transformation isn't just about mindset—it's about how you feel. If you've ever felt stuck in your story, this episode will inspire you to change your circumstances, trust in your intuition, and most importantly, believe in your wildest dreams. #BelieveInYourDreamsUseful ResourcesClick here to find links to follow all our guests.Click here to learn about FoundHer projects & events!

I know, I know… This is not skeptic-friendly. This is actually a very non-skeptic-friendly episode. But this moment would come at some point, my friends. For many, ‘manifestation' is synonymous with ‘the law of attraction', and while it is not the same thing for me, I do feel like this is important information that you need to know. You can decide if you believe in it or not once you've heard the deetz. We go all in on the law of attraction by using Rhonda Byrne's bestselling book ‘The Secret'. You might have watched or heard about the documentary of the same name. Both the film and the book attracted interest from media personalities such as Oprah Winfrey or Ellen DeGeneres, and it quickly became a phenomenon.RESOURCESBernstein, G. Justin Hayward joined the Moody Blues in 1966 and wrote and sang most of the band's singles from “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon” through such '80s hits as “The Voice” and “Your Wildest Dreams.” How much did the Moody Blues shape his songwriting, and how much did his songwriting shape the Moody Blues? Did he write to fit the albums' concepts? Did he especially enjoy writing songs with multiple parts and tempo changes? When he performs now, does he feel more emotionally connected to material from one era or another? Will he ever again perform with the surviving Moody Blues? He still has that golden voice, whether singing or discussing his days of future passed. (Photo by Joe Schaeffer.)

It has allowed me the time it has taken to recognize that I feel an emotion and that there's something in there. Mindfulness has also given me a place to help process that. Allowing myself to feel emotions as they come up and not squashing them down till a later date or time.  Thoughts on Breathing Breathing is huge. As someone who has been short of breath many times in life, a thirty second breath is something that saved me. Inhaling for ten seconds, holding for ten and then releasing for ten, and then doing that for about five minutes is simple, but has literally saved my life when I thought I wasn't going to be able to take another breath.  Suggested Resources Book: Super Attractor: Methods for Manifesting a Life beyond Your Wildest Dreams by Gabby Bernstein App: Dr. Chris Lee on Instagram – He talks about the neuroscience behind mindfulness Bullying Story I was bullied, but never because I had two dads. I grew up in Las Angeles, born and raised in Malibu. I was known as the girl with two gay dads and that was my selling point. It was something I wore like a badge. I'm also biologically related to both of my parents so that is something that was very uncommon. My dad Kevin, is my biological dad and my daddy, Dennis is my biological uncles, meaning his sister donated the egg so that my parents could have me. It certainly did more to my internal state of mind that it did causing a lot of bullying externally. I was an example for a bunch of different human rights organizations (LGBTQ) to say here is the girl who was raised by two dads and she's well adjusted, well-spoken. On the other hand I was a perfectionist and wanted to do all things the right way because I had in my mind, if I don't do things the right way, then they're going to see me as a reason why people shouldn't have kids. I recognize now that's kind of a self-centered view of the world, but as a little kid, that was what I knew and that was my place I felt I had in the world.  Related Episodes 169 Gay Pride, Mindfulness and Bullying Talk; Matt Marr 182 Love Your Body and Reclaim Your Life; Zlata Sushchik 479 Using The Whole Method To Blaze Your Own Trail; Rhonda Smith Our Sponsor Use hypnosis to help others stop struggling with their deep-rooted issues like weight loss, smoking, painful experiences. Beth Holden Graves knew she was called to do more. She wasn't sure how that "more" would look but she took one bold action and then another. Beth wanted off the hamster wheel. She felt more than just a nudge.. it was a PULL to just get started. She needed her groove back, and she knew a traditional job wasn't going to cut it. She was intrigued with the idea of making money online and began learning the options. In just three years Beth built a 7- figure business, but she didn't do it alone. Without mentorship, the connections she made attending events, and participating in masterminds and online programs, she wouldn't be where she is today.
