School Scents Candles and Home is a mother/tween home fragrance company. They make 100% natural soy wax candles and all-natural room sprays from scratch. Everything is hand crafted in small batches right here in the USA. Their products are safe for you, your home, your pets and the environment. They started their company in the height of the COVID 19 pandemic after running out of activities to do. As a family, they worked out together, played games, and on Friday nights they crafted until they stumbled upon candle making. Tiffany has always been interested in making them, but just for herself. After months of testing, they sent out over 150 sample tins. The feedback was AMAZING! People wanted more, so on January 25, 2021, the School Scents website went live, and the response has been nothing short of a blessing. They love making candles and even more, they love making them as a family. Doing this creates memorable family moments, but also teaches her children life-long business and financial lessons. The School Scents names are nostalgic. They remind you of things centered around school ranging from elementary through your college years. With names like snooze button, prom queen, study hall, power to the paper and many more, there is a scent for everyone. Although a part of the company is run by tweens, nothing is juvenile about their scents. They are mature. And they are meant to create a mood and remind you of things that bring you joy while awakening your senses. When you think of School Scents, think of great school memories, mature scents and relaxing moods. School Scents also creates custom candle scents for individuals and groups for events, corporate and other gifting ideas. Host Natasha Stevens Speaks on Expressing Gratitude and Happiness.
In this episode host Natasha Stevens sits down with Myron Fletcher as they discuss the vital need and value of fathers in the home and those seeking to be father figures. This episode is for everyone! Myron Fletcher is the Executive Pastor of Moriah City of Refuge Worship Center in St. Louis, Mo. One of his many responsibilities are community relations, along with teaching the Gospel of Christ. Outside of Church, he has filled the role of a father figure to hundreds and hundreds of kids during 13 years of coaching. Myron also coaches football and wrestling at the high school level. He serves as an advocate for those who don't have a voice, and a mentor to many who want to grow. He is adamant about being the male figure because so many of our kids are missing. This has become his passion: To help facilitate and fulfill that role. As a former Collegiate Wrestler, 2x All American, and having played on a professional Indoor Football team, as well as a personal, athletic trainer and fitness coach to all who inquire, he brings a wealth of experience as he strives to be present in the lives of the fatherless in his space and sphere of influence. Myron says, “even though I'm not perfect; I thank God that perfection is not a requirement to reach others who need help.” As a husband to LaSonta Fletcher for 17 years and father to son, Zachary Fletcher, Myron brings a well rounded approach to our heal series on “Fathers and Sons.” Myron and his family also lived through Ferguson and have all impacted the lives of young, African American boys on trauma, police engagement, equality, how to “man up,” as well as a host of other things that played out in front of the world. Behind the scenes… he was helping them heal-one boy, one block, and one brick at a time. The men, the mission and the movement! What is the legacy that you are leaving in the Earth as Leaders? Lean in and listen to a voice crying in the wilderness with passion, dedication, hope, wisdom, and faith. To connect with Myron, follow him on all social media using his name: Myron Fletcher. Heal: Bandaids OFF is described as one of the most poignant, challenging and honest, unpublished series by Natasha Stevens. Packed with powerful truths about how healing drives your decisions & destiny-she offers valuable insight to help you uncover the truth, unpack the luggage, and understand why healing NOW matters. Be sure to subscribe so that you don't miss upcoming episodes in this series where she and guests tell their true stories of what they found when the gloves and the bandaids came off! Healing is possible when you stop posing. Pretending that you're ok when you aren't doesn't serve anyone. Do you attack who hurt you? No. Your feelings are valid-retaliation isn't. So, what do you do? Tune in to yourself as much as possible. And don't forget-no one can love who you pretend to be. Healing isn't instant coffee or tea. Don't believe that lie. But, don't sit in sackcloth and ashes running the victim story for too long-especially when you're a masterpiece. Forgiveness is possible. Your relationship may never be the same again-but that's where your true freedom will begin. And it can be scary. But fear becomes your friend when you learn how to face it-fearlessly. So many of our guests have shown up healed and thriving, sharing some really painful things that happened to them, and how they overcame them. Go back and give them a listen. You don't have to know people to learn from them. HEAL: HIDDEN EXPECTATIONS ABOUT LOVE.
Have you ever encountered a truly creative person? One thing that they best enjoy is personal freedom. Listen to three of the things that they don't like.
