Growing up as the daughter of entrepreneurs in California, Nicole Humphrey's always had that entrepreneurial bug. Her passion for philanthropy had led her to an established career working in nonprofits, but slowly the 9-5 corporate grind began to weigh on her. Upon traveling to Bali, Indonesia for her honeymoon, Nicole fell in love with Balinese people, culture, and artisans. She noticed that everywhere they went, there were expat entrepreneurs who had launched their businesses right there in Bali, and it struck her - why couldn’t that be her? Within one month of returning home, Nicole and her husband Connor quit their jobs, sold all of their worldly possessions, and moved to Bali in search of a new adventure and a new life of entrepreneurship. Nicole and Connor spent much of their time traversing the island on motorbikes, donning bandanas to guard them from roadway pollution. One day, they realized just how little they know about this staple accessory that they wore everyday. Upon looking for options, all they could find was scratchy cotton, boring patterns, and suspect manufacturing. Thus, the idea for BANDITS Bandanas was born. Building upon Nicole’s extensive work in the nonprofit sector and Connor’s business background, they set out to build a bandana that would spark collaboration, inspire original expression, and create positive change.About BANDITS:BANDITS bandanas are the opposite of that scratchy, paisley bandana. Each one features exclusive, original designs by young artists around the world, from illustrators and muralists to textile designers and activists. With each bandana sold, 10% of proceeds are donated to a charity chosen by the artist who designed it. Additionally, they are Fair Trade Certified and are ethically handmade from sustainably-sourced, ultra soft, 100% Organic Cotton. Only 2 years after launching, Bandits has created over 40 different artist-designed bandanas that have helped them donate over $58K in give back funds to artist-chosen charities across the world. Their bandanas can currently be found in Huckberry, Paper Source, REI and over 200 independent retailers across the country, or online at banditsbandanas.com. In 2020, high demand has increased the company’s year-over-year sales by 200%. Instagram Pinterest

JENNIFER BITNER:Mental Performance Coach & co-host of The Mind LeadershipI have lived my life on both sides of the hustle. One side that led to anxiety, overwhelm and burnout; and the other- more of a humble hustle, that was fueled by passion, joy, and purpose. I spent 11 years of my corporate career working in the fitness industry for the largest chain of fitness clubs in Canada. I started my career in sales and quickly moved up the ladder to General Manager by the age of 23. I was a top performer, driven by success, accolades, and recognition. I thrived with goals and competition and was always chasing the next award.Eventually, my overachieving and unhealthy drive led me to a dis-eased state of mental health. When I was 22 I was riddled with severe anxiety and panic attacks. I lived with two identities— this performer, goal crusher, and high energy leader… and, this broken and burnt out skeleton of who I once was. I finally decided something needed to change. I spent a decade of healing and recovering from unbalanced mental health.I have now written and published a book called “Just A Girl With Anxiety”, detailing my journey and recovery process; I teach Mind Fitness techniques & am hired to speak to companies across the country on how success can be healthy, and teach natural approaches to mind wellness. I believe you can achieve your goals, dreams, and aspirations, without being left feeling stressed, exhausted, and defeated.I am here to teach you how to find peace amidst the chaos and bring joy + healthy success back into your days!DWAYNE SMITH: Leadership Development Coach, co-host of The Mind Leadership & member of the John Maxwell Leadership TeamI’m a certified public speaker and a mastermind group facilitator. I have been in a leadership role for over 17 years. I graduated from college with a business marketing degree and moved into one of the largest companies in Canada. In my career, I have embraced my growth by developing myself in the art of leadership. By managing large teams, I’ve learned in my career that leadership is action, and living by leader principles daily requires a great deal of intention. My journey has shaped my decision to be a part of The Mind Leadership because I have come to understand that between the tools we are provided and our intentions lies a thing called execution. Our execution is at its best when we are aware of our strengths and how to leverage them to our advantage. Our minds dictate how we operate and it’s our minds that we need to develop to be welcoming of new ideas, knowing who we are and how we become our best selves. Peace. I love you.My purpose is to live a poetic life – a life of true engagement that helps others learn and reach their potential. What do you want to know about me? I'm a dad, husband, twin, brother, and son. I am grateful to have such an amazing family who loves me despite my loco craziness—born and raised in Cali. Now I live in Austin, Texas. Scott Robinson is a Senior Lecturer & Master Practitioner for The Academy of Applied Movement Neurology. He is the creator of AMN Neuro Flexibility & has worked successfully with all levels of neurologic complexity. Scott’s approach is to first assess & then bring each individual’s nervous system towards a state of balance. If resolution of a complex neurologic or pain presentation is the objective, then achieving this (homeostatic) balance is often key. Where Movement is the primary objective, then achieving this balance within the body prior commencing a training program gives the individual’s body every chance of progressing towards their movement or functional goals, as opposed to progressing towards injury, which is often the case when training with pre-exisiting imbalances in the nervous system. Scott’s knowledge & skill set means that he is capable of transforming a person with a nervous system of a degraded output, into a person who is capable of achieving advanced callisthenics strength, flexibility and skills. As an AMN master practitioner, Scott is a specialist in dealing with: movement compensations, muscle weakness, muscle control, range of motion & sensation, historic injury & surgical compensations, pain complaints, all manner of musculoskeletal dysfunction, trauma to the emotional system, respiratory, gastrointestinal & immune systemic issues, circadian biological function & sleep disturbances, disturbances to the balance system, the emotional motor system, stiffness or dysfunction to myofascial & other connective tissues, post concussion syndrome, stroke, Hay fever, TMJ dysfunction, coordination, posture & memory. All of the above, along with many other issues, can all potentially be normalised. This is all achieved via a utilisation of the entire AMN system, from assessment to calibration of the brain & the nervous system.A former elite athlete in Taekwondo & athletics, a personal trainer of more than 20 years experience & a master practitioner with knowledge of the entirety of the AMN system along with being both a teacher and a mentor within the AMN education. About Bishop Reid: For years Bishop has passionately taken a deep dive into the personal development world, from positive psychology, mindfulness mental health study, to ancient eastern philosophy, all in an attempt to better understand the messy and outrageously beautiful story of being human. Her journey has consisted of a wide variety of different worlds, from attending an all girls boarding school in Northern Virginia at the age of 14, at 19 being one of the youngest interns within the White House internship program, and then years later making a big move from her corporate sales life to living on an island in Brazil in a shared community leading month long transformational programs for people all over the world. All of this happening in the midst of navigating her own unexpected health challenges. Throughout the last several years she began paying more close attention to her thoughts, stories, observations, self learnings, and curious wonderings about what it means to consciously experience being human. Some of the ways she goes about this may be a bit unconventional but incredibly fascinating. Website / BlogInstagramFacebookLinkedIn
