What if everything you owned was suddenly gone? What if life forced you to surrender in the most extreme way possible? In this deeply personal solo episode of the HEAL with Kelly Podcast, I share my transformative journey through the devastation of the recent California fires, which took the home that my daughter and I were renting along with all our cherished belongings. With raw honesty, I recount the emotional rollercoaster of loss, resilience, and the overwhelming love and support that all of us affected continue to receive from the greater community.   I reflect on the profound lessons that emerged from this tragedy — surrender, trust, and healing — and how my experience at 40 Years of Zen unexpectedly prepared me with the resilience I would need just days later. I also open up about my recent psychedelic journey with BUFO or 5-MeO-DMT, an experience that has forever changed me in a beautiful way.   For anyone going through a massive life change, loss, a diagnosis, divorce, or the aftermath of a natural disaster, I hope my story will provide hope that there is life after destruction, and sometimes life needs to bring everything to ashes before the phoenix of our power, purpose, and truth can RISE. Join me as I vulnerably share my path forward — embracing the knowing that I will rebuild and land exactly where I'm meant to. The magical duo of Rhonda Byrne & Kelly Noonan Gores are rounding out a bucket list week here at the Beautiful Writers Podcast. After years of dreaming, writing, podcasting, and, more recently, recording my latest book, the audiobook for Beautiful Writers: A Journey of Big Dreams & Messy Manuscripts—with Tricks of the Trade from Bestselling Authors (aka the guests of this show!) pubbed just before posting this episode.  When I thought about who, among all the writers in the world, I wanted to share the momentous occasion of my audiobook birthday with, the answer was crystal clear. Kelly is not just a dear friend but also someone whose life and career have been profoundly shaped by Rhonda's work, starting with The Secret film that captivated the world in 2006. As you'll hear, I don't think I'd have ever seen my name on the New York Times bestseller's list (in 2008) without Rhonda's influence, so I had a strong feeling this conversation would be particularly intimate, spiritual, and delightful, which is precisely how it turned out. I hope you feel it, too. Not to mention, Ms. Byrne's writing and publishing stories are mind-blowingly fun, and her FAITH (ALL CAPS) in the Universe is contagious—yes, please. Rhonda's energy feels so pure to me, even angelic, which helps me better understand why she's so beloved and why The Secret has been published in fifty languages and is one of the most successful books of this century. (On the comments on Amazon, for example, I found 33,930 5-star reviews, with a stream of testimonials from readers reporting emotional, life-changing miracles.) With beautiful Kelly, the creator of the hit documentary and book HEAL, by my side, I feel surrounded by love and the highest vibrations, like the luckiest girl at the party. Their work has inspired many millions worldwide, and I hope it inspires you too.Thank you for dreaming your dreams right along with us. Write on!Linda xo

A long overdue solo episode is finally here! In this episode, I talk about two important events that occurred in my life during the last 9 months. First, I discuss my explant surgery!  I dive into my entire journey from what drove me to get implants in the first place and why I decided to get them removed last October. I cover how the surgery went, some secrets I utilized to heal faster, and how I feel now as a result. Breast Implant Illness is a real issue affecting millions of women, so whether you have implants, are considering implants, know women with implants AND a mystery or chronic illness, or are just curious to hear my story, this is a good episode to catch. Second, I cover my profound experience at the recent Advance Weeklong Meditation Retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza. In the 7 years since I met and worked with Joe, he's been trying to get me to come to a weeklong.  Well, I am beyond grateful I finally did because it was nothing short of LIFE-CHANGING. I share my firsthand experience of the retreat, some of the deep transformation that occurred, and some of the side effects of committing to this intense and beautiful program. Including, but not limited to, a total upgrade of your nervous system and biology, deep healing, release of trauma and stuck emotions, miracles, synchronicities, mystical moments, happy tears, connection with SOURCE, and a connection to a beautiful community whose hearts and minds are changing the world through coherence. If you have ever been curious about attending one of Dr. Joe's retreats this episode is a must listen.  And lastly, after many of you reached out on Instagram about my favorite manifestation tools, I share one powerful example of how gratitude journaling helped manifest my current relationship (my husband). #262 In this episode, Guy and Kelly talked about the significance of self-healing for parents, acknowledging that not everyone has the same resources or opportunities to prioritize self-care. While Kelly has the privilege of having a nanny and other forms of help that allow her to create time for self-care and meditation, she recognizes that people in survival mode and poverty may not have the same opportunities and may be doing the best they can. Nevertheless, she believes that prioritizing self-healing and self-care is crucial for all parents, regardless of their resources, as it can have a positive impact on both the parent and their children. She also acknowledges that being a parent can highlight personal areas for growth and healing, and encourages parents to do the necessary emotional and mental housekeeping to ensure that they are not passing on their unconscious habits and beliefs to their children.  Furthermore, Kelly discussed the importance of playfulness and imagination in clarifying and vocalizing personal desires and goals. She suggests that using our imagination can help us get clear on what we want and share it with the people we love who will support our vision. She also recommends vocalizing or writing down our desires to get even clearer. However, she acknowledges that negative beliefs and limiting beliefs can often block us from thinking that we can have what we desire. She suggest identifying these beliefs and overcoming them to move forward towards our goals. Since then, she has been on a relentless pursuit of learning all she can about the personal development space. After 20 years of learning about spirituality and how it integrates into her life, she now teaches others how to integrate it in their personal lives and businesses. Episode Quotes“I was 14 years old the day before I was about to commit suicide. A teacher I had known knew that something wasn't right and asked me if I was okay. And I said, no I wasn't and that I was going home to take my life. That is when my Mom picked me up and drove me to the psych ward” - Danielle Grant“I remember looking out at the lake and consistently asking myself, how did I believe that my life wasn't worth living for?” - Danielle Grant“Meeting truth for the first time is so powerful that most people run” - Danielle Grant“We just  have to awaken a higher vibration to receive” - Danielle Grant“About a year and a half ago now I really started to hear this voice inside that said, this isn't what you're here for and what you've actually been doing over the last little while is you've been figuring out how to step into this truth and this power” - Danielle Grant“In the moment I surrendered to the spiritual truth I awoke to everything at 25. The minute I surrendered to the fact that I wasn't listening to my higher self and I was pushing something that everyone else thought I should do instead of what I thought I should do was the moment everything switched.” - Danielle GrantEpisode Resources MentionedDocumentary “Heal” Directed by Kelly Noonan Gores & Adam SchomerBook - “Ego is the Enemy” by Ryan HolidayGuest Contact Infohttps://www.thespiritualroom.co/ (Spiritual Experience)https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielle-grant/ (Follow on LinkedIn)https://www.awakeascending.com/author/danielle/ (Publication)https://open.spotify.com/show/5Qr3NhAZBme1EN0Q3dclix (The Mind Vibe Podcast)

When it comes to divine truths and wisdom, the media doesn't have a great track record showing things as they are—often portraying spiritual leaders as “crazy” or “misguided”. Kelly Noonan Gores saw that problem as well—which inspired her to create Elevate Entertainment, whose mission is to create conscious, empowering, inspiring media. Along this path she also wrote and directed the acclaimed documentary “Heal”, available now on Amazon Prime and Netflix. Top 5 Things You'll Learn from This Episode: Kelly's deep, personal  connection with the whale how the subconscious lens that gets developed within each of us from conception to age seven is the programming that really kicks into high gear (particularly when we're in a survival state) ways to navigate potentially dramatic or chaotic situations with as much health, ease, and grace as possible, tips for staying and connection with your inner wisdom, your highest self, your ability to trust yourself and your connection with the divine  how she selected some of the incredible spiritual teachers that are featured in the Heal documentary, including Dr. Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Kelly Brogan, and many more. AWAKENING THE HEALER WITHIN with KELLY GORES      “You can learn to play the instrument of your own body and stimulate healing.” -- Kelly Noonan Gores, director of the documentary “Heal”       Episode Summary:   Why do some of us get sick and others skate through life unscathed by illness?  Are we victims of our circumstances -- or do we have significant influence over our health? How do our thoughts, beliefs and emotions impact our ability to heal?   In this first episode of 2022, we talk with Kelly Noonan Gores, a well-known Los Angeles based child actress turned producer/director of the widely popular documentary Heal, seen formerly on Netflix and currently on Amazon Prime. Heavyweights in the mind body arena – foremost scientists and spiritual leaders - make up the cast:  Deepak Chopra, Joe Dispenza, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Michael Beckwith and Dr. Bruce Lipton and so many fascinating others.   Kelly's new book, “Heal: Discover your Unlimited Potential and Awaken the Healer Within” is out now.   Listen in to hear Kelly Noonan Gores' enthusiasm for consciousness and possibility, and the miraculous intelligence of the human body.     Topics We Discuss: [5:10] Starting from a characteristic teenage cloud of aimlessness and angst, how a transformative experience at age 19, reading Marianne Williamson's book “Return to Love” on a flight home from Australia, upshifted and redirected Kelly's intentions toward a spiritual path.   [8:35] The process of making the unconscious conscious, and the importance of replacing our early childhood imprinting programs with more serving belief systems.   [13:37] The easy availability of free, powerful alternative modes of healing – for example, breathwork to stimulate the vagus nerve, Joe Dispenza's online meditation courses, books, books, books. Libraries and the internet are loaded with free resources.   [18:55] The importance of balancing alternative and Western medicine methods.   [20:20] Acceptance as step one to healing, vs. resisting what is. Letting go of the fear of death, which is the ultimate resistance. And finding your joy.   [23:50] Disease prevention practices. Find what feels good! Meditate. Turn your phone off. Give your body time to rest and reset and repair. Open to your internal guidance system. Approach exercise to feel good – move your body to release endorphins, eliminate toxins, release positive hormones and feel positive emotions (vs. fear weight gain or fear ill health). Be outdoors in nature. Give yourself grace. Do the best you can.   [35:54] The importance of taking the leap to follow your heart, whether or not you know how to get there. Saying “yes” and moving forward.   [38:40] Kelly answers Amy's speed round questions.   Spirituality means…? What is something most people don't know about you? What is one thing you're looking forward to? What are you grateful for right now? What book is on your nightstand? What is the most transformative experience of your life?           FOLLOW KELLY NOONAN GORES:   You can learn more about the “Heal” documentary and podcast here and follow Kelly Gores:   Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Twitter     SUPPORT DR. On today's episode we have Director, Writer, and Producer of the Heal Documentary, book and summit, Kelly Noonan Gores. We talk about the kind of things we should allow into our bodies and then the role that stress plays in many people's lives nowadays. Stress is a natural response our body has to deal with dangerous situations, but this state can put people into a vulnerable state where they're more susceptible to disease and other ailments. We all bathe/shower every day to get rid of the gunk we've accumulated the previous 24 hours and our mind is the same way. We need to cleanse ourselves of the dirt in our heads to be in a better mental state. The placebo effect is a real thing where people are taking something that doesn't have any effect on their bodies whatsoever, but because they believe it's going to affect them, their bodies will react as if they were taking the actual thing. Doctors can have a large impact on the patient based on how positive or negative they are with the treatment the patient receives.  Getting into the journey of Heal 1:48 Be healthy and enjoy life 10:10 The effects of stress 14:03 Other rituals to stay centered and feel good 22:50 Healing with the mind 28:34 Tips of going through a journey of healing 40:32 Changing diet 43:40 The journey with a baby 49:46 The next project after Heal 56”09    “Get your foundation as clean as you can, but then you gotta enjoy life. You have to have that, I mean it's different for everybody, but if ice cream is your thing, if you have an ice cream cone, don't freak out or stress out about it. Really enjoy it. That enjoyment of that experience that brings you so much pleasure and you do it once in a while, that's not going to have a detrimental effect on your body because it can process that, but you gotta have that 80-90% of the time be really healthy nutrition dense food.” 10:17

Kelly Noonan Gores is the writer, director, and producer of HEAL, a documentary feature about the mind-body connection and our body's innate ability to heal. She also authored the follow up book HEAL which has twice the content of the film.  A Los Angeles native, she grew up in front of the camera acting on and off in commercials, TV, and film from the age of 7.  In 2012 she started Elevative Entertainment with the intention to create conscious media that informs, inspires, and empowers.  She has a passion for psychology, wellness, and spirituality and an insatiable appetite for understanding consciousness.  As such, she has spent the last 18 years studying the teachings of luminaries like Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, Ernest Holmes, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and many more.  Her intention with the documentary is to empower people to take control of their health back and demonstrate that almost anything is possible if we believe it is so.  Kelly is a seeker, a meditator, and enjoys traveling, sports, reading and writing.    GETTING OVER SELF-DOUBT Kelly shared so openly that while she had dreamt of creating a documentary with her favorite teachers about health, from an integrative perspective, it took years to take action. She talked about Brene Brown's work helping her to move through this voice in her head that can be negative. I loved Kelly's powerful quote that "self-doubt is the original pandemic". You've got to surround yourself with non-egoic people and remember that your heart's desire is here to be fulfilled. We're all so grateful Kelly listened to her heart and pursued her passion as she created one of the most powerful documentaries about the power of our bodies to heal themself. If you haven't yet watched this film, it's a must. She surrounded herself with a small but mighty team who were supportive. She had a clear vision and passion and talked about surrendering to the experience and the Universe's greater plan. Loved this quote, "If your calling is strong enough, follow the chills, messages and signs, and trust that the Universe will provide the pathway to make your calling come to life."    YOUR ENERGY IS EVERYTHING Kelly interviews some of our most influential healers, practitioners, physicians, naturopaths, and brilliant scientists, like Dr. Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Peter Crone  (make sure you tune in to my interviews on the You-est You podcast with these three), Anthony Williams, Dr. Joe Dispenza and many others, on the power of our own ability to heal and align to wellness. The book that influenced Kelly the most was The Biology of Belief, by Dr. Bruce Lipton, which in essence states that we're not the victims of our genes. Our thoughts affect our energy and by changing your thoughts and actions, you can change your energy in the electromagnetic field. Another key aspect to understand is that between 0 - 7 years old, we're like sponges downloading other programs from our parents, school, community, religion, etc. At least 70% of this programming is limiting and negative. This then becomes our subconscious programming and what's needed to make real change is breaking the generational patterns. Your genetics are just a blueprint; your prediction of the world will color the lense of looking at life.     YOU ARE MEANT TO HEAL We are co-creators with Life. Life will nudge us and tap us on the shoulder. You can listen to the nudge or wait until your wake up call is a disease, a broken bone or an accident. We have a lot more control over our health. It's never your fault for having a disease, it's always created at the subconscious level. The most powerful tools for healing are love and gratitude. Love is the highest healing energy and love is our source. When we align to source energy, we can heal. Don't forget that we are designed for tough times like this. Become aware of your choices and remember that there is powerful intelligence in our body that is a healing energy.    Connect with Kelly Noonan Gores Facebook: @kellygores Instagram: @kellygores Twitter: @kellyngores LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/kelly-gores   Enjoying the show? Writer, director, and producer of the documentary, Heal, Kelly Noonan Gores wants you to know one thing: that humans are designed to heal, and that each of us has the power to help our own bodies and minds to achieve optimal wellness. But, as with anything in the health and wellness world, things quickly become complicated. There's the clash between Western medicine and more holistic routes, the complex and often ignored mind-body connection, and the fuzzy understanding of the role that genes and “inevitability” play in all of it. But Gores believes the truth at the center of it remains the same, and she hopes her film will empower everyone who sees it to tap into their innate power and take back control of their health. We found this interview SO fascinating! Listen to learn about the nine common natural things cancer survivors did to heal, how one man healed a terminal illness through laughter, what the placebo effect tells us about the power of the mind over medicine, what our childhood has to do with it all — plus a special collaboration between WellBe and the Heal team. “If you're on a healing path, you have to remove everything that's burdening your body from doing what it's trying to do, which is heal in every moment.”On this week's episode of the Eat Green Make Green Podcast I sit down with the one and only Kelly Gores. Kelly is the Director and Author of the documentary film and book, Heal. I don't say this lightly, I think Heal is the most powerful documentary around healing and wellness I've ever seen. We talk about what led her to becoming so interested in the human body's ability to heal, why sound healing was the most interesting modality she covered in the film, how she balances wellness with motherhood, how she tries to apply all she's learned to raising her daughter, why things in life happen for us, her recommendation for beginning the healing process, what she feels she can improve on in her own life, her take on how we've reacted to the pandemic, and why we all need to be easier on ourselves. Kelly is amazing human being who's work is truly giving people the power to heal.Show NotesHeal Documentary & Book: https://www.healdocumentary.com/Heal Documentary Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5Hpm-6InxcKelly's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kellygores/Heal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/healdocumentary/

We are beyond thrilled to have Kelly Noonan Gores on the show today. Kelly is best known as the woman behind the well-known Netflix documentary Heal. As producer, director and writer of the documentary, Kelly explores the body’s ability to heal itself, in a way that often challenges modern medicine.   Kelly joined us from a beach in Malibu, talking about her experiences of making a documentary, what she learned about stress, toxicity and pressure, quantum physics and how she spent an hour and a half listening to a wizard answer just one of her questions. Down to earth and relatable, Kelly talks about the common things people do to recover from terminal illnesses, and how health doesn’t have to come from a pill or a medicine.   There’s a lot to tie in to Kelly’s approach to health, but Kelly does it really easily. Hope you guys enjoy it.   https://www.healdocumentary.com/about.html https://www.instagram.com/kellygores/?hl=en     Hosts: Art & Matilda Green Produced by: Roar Collective

M21 Wellness Guide Wellness Force Community   Power Quotes From The Show   The Feeling Creates The Healing "As Dr. Joe Dispenza says, "The feeling creates the healing." There is a lot of law of attraction as our thoughts become things and I do 100% believe that we are energy; we are frequency in our thoughts and we are sharing this energetic language with the world or in our bodies based on what we're saying to ourselves. When we combine an elevated emotion; that gratitude or that joy with our thoughts and imagination, we are co-creating our life. The body is a tuning fork and we can change the frequency of our bodies and affect our biochemistry."- Kelly Noonan Gores   Finding Your Own Peace & Happiness "Doing the work is working on yourself, finding out how you relate to life, and becoming aware of your belief systems. It really comes down to how we perceive life which again is through our beliefs. Circumstances, people, or situations will come up in life and cause us all of this chaos and stress but that's when we have to change how we perceive or relate everything. It all starts with us and we need to find our peace and happiness regardless of change and that is work." - Kelly Noonan Gores   Our Breath Is Our Connection To Spirit "I, myself, have been doing a lot of breathwork in the last year and I think it's some of the most transformational work. Our breath is our connection to spirit. It's inspiration, it's respiration. When we are in fear and stress, we are operating from a disempowering belief system like, "I am not safe," or "I am not good enough, and we hold onto our breath, we are not breathing deeply, so all of our body's natural intelligence, systems, and design are not functioning at max capacity. So, our breath is key to everything." - Kelly Noonan Gores   Links From Today's Show Cured Nutrition WFR 300 Special Edition: Top Lessons Learned From 300+ Shows Dr. Joe Dispenza Dr. Bruce Lipton 199 Peter Crone  Rob Wergin 295 Sandra Biskind  Agape International Spiritual Center Rev. HEAL not only taps into the brilliant minds of leading scientists and spiritual teachers, but follows three people on actual high stakes healing journeys. Healing can be extremely complex and deeply personal, but it can also happen spontaneously in a moment. Through these inspiring and emotional stories we find out what works, what doesn't, and why. Key Takeaways:The study of epigenetics tells us that, while our genes may be the blueprint, our lifestyle and mindset have immense power when it comes to our healthThe nocebo effect is dangerous; we need to be conscious of our beliefs around statistics- and get a second (or third) opinion about our prognosesOftentimes, medication only quiets the symptom (the smoke alarm) but doesn't heal the root cause (the fire).

What's it take to make a story go viral? Global? To top the charts as word-of-mouth carries your tale far and wide—for days, months, or even years? There's no one formula. But certain things help stack the odds in your favor. Like novelty (a unique idea). Grabbiness (where your reader is instantly pulled in). Brevity (requiring no significant time commitment—at least not to get them hooked). Universality (people see themselves in your story). The urge to merge (large numbers want to share your work, and do!).Chart-topping is something my guests for today's Beautiful Writers Podcast episode know well. Kelly Noonan Gores is the director, writer, and star of the global phenomenon, the HEAL documentary, now out in book form this month. She's joined by Anita Moorjani, who you may know of from her gob-smacking miraculous healing story. (Riddled with cancerous tumors, Anita walked out of the hospital cancer-free following a near-death-experience.) Her New York Times bestselling memoir, Dying To Be Me, inspired millions, including being the impetus for why Kelly finally made the film she'd been dreaming of for nearly a decade. I LOVE this conversation—especially hearing about the magical way in which both women were “discovered” by publishers, just as they were finally feeling ready to be seen and heard in the world, after years of resistance. (Funny how the universe knows our innermost thoughts.) As Kelly points out in HEAL, nearly half of Americans—more than 133 million of us—lives with a chronic disease. Close to 80 million of us have multiple conditions. If you're suffering or love someone who is, I believe these women will make you feel a renewed sense of hopefulness. Hope about the body’s innate ability to heal. Hope about how you were born to have a life you love. And hope about how to follow their lead to create a unique, grabby, universally beloved story of your own. I'm so glad you're here!Linda xoFor more information, go to beautiulwriterspodcast.com

We found this interview SO fascinating, listen to learn about the nine common natural things cancer survivors did to heal, how one man healed a terminal illness through laughter, what the placebo effect tells us about the power of the mind over medicine, what our childhood has to do with it all, and so much more.  Watch the video version here: https://getwellbe.com/changemakers/heal-director-kelly-noonan-gores You probably want to follow us for daily inspiration and information on Instagram. :) https://www.instagram.com/getwellbe/ Did you rate or review this podcast? One of the most important reasons to strengthen the mind is because of its instantaneous, inextricable, and profound relationship with the body. In fact, with the quantity and quality of emerging scientific research these days on the mind-body relationship, I predict there'll be a new, condensed word soon for “mind-body relationship” and it'll simply be mind-body. --- Last year a documentary came out on the subject entitled, HEAL. I went to see it in the theaters and was blown away at how many brilliant experts were included and how densely packed the film is with hugely important information and practices for us to understand and integrate so that we can enjoy life with optimal health. --- I am over the moon pumped about the fact that our guest today is the Writer, Director, Producer of the fabulous and fabulously important documentary, Heal, Kelly Noonan Gores. --- There a million highlights from this conversation. In fact, the conversation ITSELF is one big highlight. But here are a few of the moments that moved me to make a note: -5:38 - When asked WHY she created this film, Kelly references the impact that Epigeneticist and Stem Cell Researcher, Dr. Bruce Lipton had upon her. -10:22 - The Universe is a Conspiracist! - 11:55 - I put her on the spot to summarize the main message of the movie into ONE sentence, and she hit it out of the park! -18:14 - Yep. We're still a little “Cavemanny.” How our brains are still hardwired for surviving versus thriving. -19:04 - The old school Newtonian Physics vs. modern day Quantum Physics and how we Cause Effects with our minds and our hearts. -26:40 - Why mediation is so practical and important for us right now. “Decluttering.” -29:56 - The amazing near death experience and spontaneous (or not so spontaneous but certainly radical) remission of best selling author of the book, Dying To Be Me, Anita Moorjani's stage 4 lymphoma. Her transition from fear to love and how that cured her. In 5 weeks! -37:08 - Channeling Pure Divine Love. -40:30 - Gregg Barden and the mechanics of Heart Math - how the heart and brain collaborate. -45:25 - Darren Weissman and his very unusual Lifeline Technique of healing, even severe diagnoses. -58:19 - The power of gratitude and not only giving thanks for what you have but also giving thanks for the future that you're creating! --- How to follow/connect with Kelly: Facebook: Heal Documentary Instagram: @healdocumentary and @kellygores --- https://christopherdorris.com/tough-talks-kelly-noonan-goreswriter-director-producer/ --- If you enjoyed this content and you are not getting notifications of new posts, then I invite you to signup to my list. Kelly Noonan Gores had spent 20 years in front of the camera before deciding to turn her attention to filmmaking. In 2012, Gores launched Elevative Entertainment, an independent production company based in Beverly Hills, and transitioned into a career of writing and producing. However, Gores’ time in front of the camera continued as she starred in and was the executive producer for the award winning films Beneath (2013) and Take a Seat (2011). Gores also produced the feature film Tooken (2015), a spoof of the Taken Franchise.   She considers her latest project HEAL, her greatest passion and life’s work as it shares the powerful message that it is never too late for the body to heal. A combination of the books “Biology of Belief” by Bruce Lipton and “Dying to be Me” by Anita Moorjani, inspired and taught Gores that we are not victims of genes and biology but through our thoughts and beliefs we can recover and heal. As a seeker of truth, Gores and her team have a passion for creative, consciousness raising projects.   After taking a class at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, Gores learned how food affects our health and how no one way diet, toxin release method, etc. works for every person in the same way. Gores’ inspiration for the documentary HEAL stems from a collection of attending classes and conferences, reading and sharing her knowledge with others. Gores is a Los Angeles native, soccer player and has been practicing yoga and meditation for 8 years. Kelly shares how our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions affect our physical health and biology. She talks about some of the common big changes that terminally ill patients implemented to see significant changes in their health and life. She discusses our divinity, ways to find your truth, and how we come from love and go back to love. Kelly leaves listeners with the advice, "Find what you love and do more of it." In today's show we spoke about the power of our thoughts when it comes to healing. Kelly's film reveals that we have more control over our health and life than we have been taught to believe. It features interviews with Deepak Chopra, Bruce Lipton, Marianne Williamson, Michael Beckwith, Gregg Braden, Anita Moorjani and other leading scientists, teachers and experts on the mind-body connection, who describe and highlight the relationship between spirituality and science. It turns out that we are not victims of our family genes, but truly have the power to heal virtually any “dis-ease” through our thoughts, beliefs, perceptions and emotions. I'd love to know what YOU think about this week's show. Let's carry on the conversation… please leave a comment below. What you'll learn from this episode: The possibilities of the human mind and body are something we're only just starting to uncover but the examples in HEAL show that we're only limited by our beliefs. The placebo effect actually creates the same chemical response as the drug it's controlling for. There's an incredible opportunity to better understand and exploit this effect. The way we think about about something can have a greater impact on how it affects us than the actual properties of that thing. For example, whether we see our food as harmful or nourishing can affect whether it harms or nourishes us. Happiness is a great indicator of whether we're in alignment
