Hey Everyone! Marvelous Marqui, Retro Raymond and EL discuss "Solo Leveling" episode 11 & 12 which also means it's the finale of this anime! There was an official Season 2 announcement so what's in store for the future of "Solo Leveling" and what do we plan on covering next! Reminder that we are all only purely Anime watchers of Solo Leveling. We may reference the manhwa or webtoon from time to time but we're primarily discussing the Anime episode content only! "Solo Leveling" Episode 11 - "A Knight Who Defends an Empty Throne" Released on Mar 23, 2024 Out of the blue, a "job-change quest" pops up in Jinwoo's window. Feeling that it may help him get stronger, he enters the gate. Inside, he fights wave after wave of enemies, culminating in a knight who brings back memories of the Cartenon Temple. Episode 12 - "Arise" Released on Mar 30, 2024 Drained from endless battle, JinWoo sees a phantom of his past self. To overcome his own past as the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind, he struggles to find a way to clear the job-change quest. via Crunchyroll.com Overview: Ten years ago, "the Gate" appeared and connected the real world with the realm of magic and monsters. To combat these vile beasts, ordinary people received superhuman powers and became known as "Hunters." Twenty-year-old Sung JinWoo is one such Hunter, but he is known as the "World's Weakest," owing to his pathetic power compared to even a measly E-Rank. Still, he hunts monsters tirelessly in low-rank Gates to pay for his mother's medical bills. However, this miserable lifestyle changes when JinWoo — believing himself to be the only one left to die in a mission gone terribly wrong—awakens in a hospital three days later to find a mysterious screen floating in front of him. This "Quest Log" demands that JinWoo completes an unrealistic and intense training program, or face an appropriate penalty. Initially reluctant to comply because of the quest's rigor, JinWoo soon finds that it may just transform him into one of the world's most fearsome Hunters. This podcast episode is not like my typical podcasts, honestly, this is more of a rant or my ramblings on various topics. We got some DC/WB news in particular about Ezra Miller and the future of The Flash, confirmation of 'The Batman' movie releasing on HBO Max for streaming, touching the topic of 'Sonic The Hedgehog 2' and then leading to my rant on video game adaptations into TV or Film! The Flash is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Produced by DC Films, Double Dream, and The Disco Factory, and set for distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is intended to be the fourteenth film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film is directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Christina Hodson and stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash alongside Ron Livingston, Michael Keaton, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Sasha Calle, and Ben Affleck. In the film, Barry travels back in time to prevent his mother's murder, which brings unintended consequences. The Batman is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, 6th & Idaho, and Dylan Clark Productions, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is a reboot of the Batman film franchise. The film was directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig. It stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman alongside Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The film sees Batman, who has been fighting crime in Gotham City for two years, uncover corruption while pursuing the Riddler (Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a 2022 action-adventure comedy film based on the video game franchise published by Sega. It is the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), and was directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington. It stars Ben Schwartz reprising his role as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, Idris Elba and Jim Carrey. The film follows Sonic and Tails, who team up to find the Master Emerald before Dr. Robotnik and Knuckles the Echidna do, while also contending with the military organization G.U.N.

On this podcast episode I ponder the question - Am I a Trekkie? I recently watched the 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' trailer and that spurred some nostalgia feelings of when I used to watch the 'Star Trek' TV series when I was young. Now it has been quite some time since I last watched any 'Star Trek' but I wanted to check out the Paramount+ offerings since I have the subscription now. So, I watched the first episodes of 'Picard' and 'Discovery' then ended up watching some more episodes of 'Picard' which kept me up late (and hence this late podcast upload)! Also, April 5th is considered "First Contact Day" as this is in reference to the date April 5, 2063 of when Humans first made contact with the Vulcans in the 'Star Trek: First Contact' movie. About 'Star Trek: Picard' 'Star Trek: Picard' features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on 'Star Trek: The Next Generation.' The new series will follow this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. Set at the end of the 24th century, 18 years after the events of `Star Trek: Nemesis', with Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role, `Star Trek: Picard' revolves around retired admiral Jean-Luc Picard. He is still deeply affected by the loss of Lieutenant Commander Data, portrayed by Brent Spiner, and the destruction of Romulus, and steps into the next chapter of his life. The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman, James Duff, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers and Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout) serves as co-executive producer and Kirsten Beyer as supervising producer. Hanelle Culpepper will direct the first two episodes of the series. Starring: Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Harry Treadaway, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Evan Evagora, Jeri Ryan, Orla Brady, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis. Created by: Akiva Goldsman, Michael Chabon, Kirsten Beyer, Alex Kurtzman. Based on 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' by Gene Roddenberry.

Welcome to the Work Time Fun Podcast!I'm your co-worker, EL, nice to meet you! This is water cooler talk going over tv and movie reviews mostly in the superhero genre (but not only). We'll go on the tangent and talk about things that you would expect out of any co-worker but nothing toxic of course. This podcast is meant for an adult audience but I don't intend to be explicit, on the contrary, I feel like I go over things pretty smoothly and I hope you feel like it too!On this episode we're going over upcoming Marvel shows on Disney Plus. As you may have noticed I started this episode differently by including the audio from the newly released trailer for the Ms. Marvel series. I further connect the Marvel Netflix shows that are transitioning over to Disney Plus (starting March 16th at 12:01am PT) which includes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, the Defenders and not really mentioned but probably will include Iron Fist and Punisher as well. And as always I add my own opinions to all these shows and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general.
