Alexander Robotnick is a pioneer – one of the great innovators within electronic music who has helped to shape genres and sounds fusing electronic influences with that of 80's disco to create something all of his own. Best known for his take on Italo and Electro his music remains as relevant in the present as it did in the 80's with key tracks such as ‘Problèmes D'Amour' remaining on heavy rotation in clubs across the world. His own tastes have evolved with time and he is keen to bring forth a new generation of musicians and producers to breathe live into the future of the genre. This is perhaps best represented by the release of a new compilation on Hot Elephant Music which Alexander has curated showcasing a breadth of electronic music from Indian producers. As a dj his sets are eclectic as you like – they draw upon his huge breadth of musical experience and a lifetime spent collecting records which has lead him into scoring film soundtracks, playing clubs worldwide and a myriad of other musical adventures and projects. ABOUT -  STALVART JOHN (BANGALORE, INDIA) Stalvart John found his home in electronic music about a decade back when he discovered artists like Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, and Robert Miles. After taking the plunge into dance music, he found appreciation from audiences across the globe in no time thanks to his radio shows which include Frisky Radio (NY), Afterhours FM (SFO), Tenzi.fm (India), IMRTD Worldwide (NY), Powermix fm Radio (UK) and Radio Schizoid (Mumbai), 1worldtrance among many others. Stalvart have a monthly radio show at India’s first electronic music community radio boxout.fm called “Dynamite Disco Club”. When it comes to new music from Ulysses, you never know what you're going to get. His career has spanned genres from techno and house to experimental and disco, with every release delivering an exciting musical surprise. An essential pioneer of the late-‘90s electro scene in New York, Ulysses threw some of the biggest large-scale electro parties with legends such as Alexander Robotnick and Arthur Baker, as well as stars like I-f, Adult, and Miss Kittin and the Hacker. Deep Sessions VII (126 bpm Deep n’ Dance)  The seven episodes of Deep Sessions should really be called Fifty Shades of Deep. It would have been a better title and a true depsiction of what those sessions are about. Yet I did not want to make an event of 7 concomitant uploads and felt like being a bit clinical. I want to keep the blurb to a minimum and let the deepnest talk Embarking in a avalanche of Deep House uploads. I buy a lot of Deep House tunes, yet upload very few true Deep House sets. Though I believe Deep House is where I find the most consistent Talent and great quality tunes, being a slut for vocals and pretty tunes, I tend to shy away from publishing any Deep House mixes. Willingly or not, I always fall into the trap of including soulful tracks when I try to go deep. Let’s hope that by the time I am done with Deep House Sessions, I will have published something which is true to the genre. Final word, I really tried thoughout the session to showcase great artists I never uploaded before.. For the ones I know and are not featured this time ( thinking of you Petros), please accept my absolute apologies.   No particular order in the uploads but for the fact that I went up the bpm genre with every set. "Feel the Heat" from Gianni N of TrueHouse fame.. Not only do I love the track, but buying was a pleasure as I have listened to Gianni' sets free for far too long. Deep House and Kathy Perry? Well courtesy of Othersoul it is a reality! Listen to "Dark Horse" and you will never think of Kathy the same again! And continung with Othersoul a deep yet funky rendition of "Time to get Funky". Love those two spaniards.. The keys are fabulous! "Yuki" from Hideo Kobayashi, a pure deep house gem, Kobayashi is my absolute favourite japanese producer and I needed to have one of his in these sessions. DO NOT MISS!
