(Yeah, we made it…) Ayy, we put in that work, now we takin' that victory lap! They didn't see the days we stayed up, now it's our time, let's go! I used to dream of this, now it's all in my palm, Put the hours in the game, now I'm steady stayin' calm. Never asked for handouts, never begged for a chance, Now the crowd scream my name when I step on the dance. Had to run the race, couldn't take a shortcut, Now I'm ridin' with the top down, outta luck's cut. They said I wouldn't make it, told me I was too raw, Now they line up to hear what I got in the raw. I turned every struggle into a reason to go harder, Now I'm pullin' up clean, lookin' like a life starter. Every L was a lesson, every day was a test, Now I'm passin' every class, put the haters to rest. This the victory lap, we livin' what we said, From the bottom to the top, now we out here ahead. This the victory lap, we're flexin' what we built, Every move's calculated, got the trophy on tilt. They thought I wouldn't make it, they thought I was a fluke, But now I'm pullin' up in yachts, flexin' on the coupe. Champagne poppin', toastin' to the grind, Now I'm reaping what I sowed, I'm ahead of the line. Made it out the struggle, now it's time to show love, Bought the fam some cribs, ‘cause they always had my back above. Every dollar earned's a badge that I wear with pride, I was down to my last, but I never let it slide. Now I'm ballin' with the best, ain't no need to pretend, ‘Cause my hustle's the truth, I'm built to ascend. From the pain to the champagne, it's all worth it, Now the world know my name, and I'm on top for certain. This the victory lap, we livin' what we said, From the bottom to the top, now we out here ahead. This the victory lap, we're flexin' what we built, Every move's calculated, got the trophy on tilt. I'm takin' victory laps in every city I touch, They said I couldn't do it, now they showin' love too much. Every win's sweeter when you came from the dirt, Now the sky's the limit, and I'm livin' on that shirt. Rings on my fingers, and the chains stay swingin', They thought I was quiet, now they hear the bells ringin'. This is for the nights I prayed, stayed up, didn't sleep, Now I'm stackin' up the wins, never losin' a beat. This the victory lap, we livin' what we said, From the bottom to the top, now we out here ahead. This the victory lap, we're flexin' what we built, Every move's calculated, got the trophy on tilt. (Ayy, it's our time…) Every win's a step, every battle's a crown, Now we takin' victory laps, and we never look down. We just started, baby—this ain't even the peak, But for now, let's toast, we're at the top of the streak.

Passage: 1 The Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around him. 2 They observed that some of his disciples were eating bread with unclean—that is, unwashed—hands. 3 (For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, keeping the tradition of the elders. 4 When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they have washed. And there are many other customs they have received and keep, like the washing of cups, pitchers, kettles, and dining couches.) 5 So the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders, instead of eating bread with ceremonially unclean hands?” 6 He answered them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines human commands. 8 Abandoning the command of God, you hold on to human tradition.” 9 He also said to them, “You have a fine way of invalidating God's command in order to set up your tradition! 10 For Moses said: Honor your father and your mother; and Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death. 11 But you say, ‘If anyone tells his father or mother: Whatever benefit you might have received from me is corban'” (that is, an offering devoted to God), 12 “you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. 13 You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many other similar things.” 14 Summoning the crowd again, he told them, “Listen to me, all of you, and understand: 15 Nothing that goes into a person from outside can defile him but the things that come out of a person are what defile him.” 17 When he went into the house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable. 18 He said to them, “Are you also as lacking in understanding? Don't you realize that nothing going into a person from the outside can defile him? 19 For it doesn't go into his heart but into the stomach and is eliminated” (thus he declared all foods clean). 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of people's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders, 22 adulteries, greed, evil actions, deceit, self-indulgence, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a person.” (Mark 7:1-23 CSB) Song: Purify (https://open.spotify.com/track/0Gd3BYUzxIyO1vn89W3Vit?si=6086bf35354c42e7) by Elevation Rhythm and Elizabeth Rosa Lyrics: Wash me in Your blood, in the water of Your love Only You can baptize me, hmmm Bring me back to life, Holy Spirit Fire Only You can baptize me, hmmm You're enough for me, You're all I need Purify me, only You can purify You're enough for me, You're all I need Purify me, only You can purify Wash me in Your blood (In the water) The water of Your love (Oh) Only You can baptize me, hey So bring me back Bring me back to life (Holy Spirit Fire) Holy Spirit Fire Only You can baptize me, oh You're enough for me, You're all I need Purify me, only You can purify You'rе enough for me, You're all I need Glory, glory There's a party in Heaven, we're invited in, oh-woah Chains are breakin' Saints are praisin' There's a party in Heaven, we're invited in, (Ayy, woah-oh) Hallelujah Glory, glory There's a party in Heaven, we're invited in (Chains are breakin') Chains are breakin' (Saints are praisin') Saints are praisin' (Woo) There's a party in Heaven and we're joinin' in, Hallelujah Hallelujah Glory, glory There's a party in Heaven, we're invited in Prayer: I beg you, most loving Savior, to reveal yourself to us, that knowing you we may desire you, that desiring you we may love you, that loving you we may ever hold you in our thoughts. -Columbanus

The Year Of Healing comes to a dramatic conclusion this week with Connor's riskiest pick yet: Endless Summer Vacation by Miley Cyrus! We talked about Plastic Hearts in Episode 20 (check it out!), and Connor's never forgiven James for his thoughts. In this episode we'll talk about what Miley's been up to over the last few years and then take on her first Grammy-winning record, from the "song of the summer" in Flowers to the synthscape of Handstand to the piano ballads like Wonder Woman. The Mixtaper has a lot to make up for too, and we help jog his failing memory as we try to end this year of Fact Or Spin in a 50/50 tie! Plus he has all new facts about tonsils, weddings, and balloon animals... with a twist that nobody saw coming. Maybe we Used To Be Young. Maybe James was Jaded, or Connor was looking through Rose Colored Lenses. Endless Summer Vacation is definitely a lot more mature and nuanced than the maximalist Plastic Hearts, but will it be enough for Connor to achieve his ultimate goal of landing an album in James' Top 100? Will we find the Violet Chemistry and finish the Year Of Healing fully healed? The VIBRAS we want to stay away from but keep coming back to haunt and trap us! Ayy no! Let's put a stop!
Ayy fam, it's time we dive deep into this pool of thoughts, no floaties! Ever feel like as a society we're just hustlin' in the wrong direction? Like we tryna swim upstream instead of just floatin' with the vibe?
Araç kamerası ne güzel bir şey. Yollarda magandalık yapanlara kaçış yok. Hatalı sollayan, aşırı hız yapan, makas atan, sonra da kaza yapanlar kolayca tespit edilebiliyor. Her araçta standart hâle gelmesi iyi olur. Gerekirse uğruna can veririz.

Ayy we're glad to be back from our new year's hiatus, happy 2023 everyone. We thought about what would be a good episode to return with, and we landed on our producer, Doug, having a difficult and personal conversation with his father, Jim, about his addiction to be compelling entertainment fodder. We talk about how Doug was, in hind-sight, an addict from a young age, and how that affected his development. We see the perspective of addiction from the other side, of parents, and how they deal with having a son or daughter struggling in that manner. Doug's Dad recounts how he rejected a lot of advice he got about how to deal with his son, and said it was his job "to keep him alive and have a safe place to be until he was ready to get better." We talk about how this bucks a lot of the conventional "tough love" wisdom of many in the recovery community, but Doug concedes that it is likely the only reason he is still alive today. ALSO - An announcement, we will no longer be doing weekly episodes, and will be moving to releasing eps on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month...sorry, me and Debbie have real jobs too. LIBRE Y SIN MIEDO PODCAST - Comer emocional, Ansiedad, Perder Peso, Fé y Mentalidad
Mortal blasts have beset the everlasting candle, and the beauty of the celestial Youth is veiled in the darkness of dust. The chief of the monarchs of love is wronged by the people of tyranny and the dove of holiness lies prisoned in the talons of owls. The dwellers in the pavilion of glory and the celestial concourse bewail and lament, while ye repose in the realm of negligence, and esteem yourselves as of the true friends. How vain are your imaginings! Bahá'u'lláh —————————————————————- O Thou compassionate Lord, Thou Who art generous and able! We are servants of Thine sheltered beneath Thy providence. Cast Thy glance of favor upon us. Give light to our eyes, hearing to our ears, and understanding and love to our hearts. Render our souls joyous and happy through Thy glad tidings. O Lord! Point out to us the pathway of Thy kingdom and resuscitate all of us through the breaths of the Holy Spirit. Bestow upon us life everlasting and confer upon us never-ending honor. Unify mankind and illumine the world of humanity. May we all follow Thy pathway, long for Thy good pleasure and seek the mysteries of Thy kingdom. O God! Unite us and connect our hearts with Thy indissoluble bond. Verily, Thou art the Giver, Thou art the Kind One and Thou art the Almighty. ‘Abdu'l-Bahá Email: bahaioasis@gmail.com Instagram and Twitter: @bahaioasis --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bahaioasis/message

Early in the morning I went to the garden of my fantasy and after visiting all the growing flowers there, I cut one flower for you, more beautiful than you can imagine. (So help me God, so help me God,) I go around bent over like someone who's [rabbit] hunting, with one knee bent, but still walking. Ayy, if the hare eludes you You'll be left staring! 2. I salute the singers if they'll give me permission, I salute the gentlemen, and everyone in general. And I salute the flowers [ladies] as I begin singing. I'll see whether I stay or not. [They say we don't love each other because they don't see us talking]* I'd like to, but cannot talk to you with my eyes. 3. Still in the world exists s/he who captured my love S/he who clothes her/himself in pride. And that's the reason that I always sing so sadly. Once I was your beloved, and you my adored one, Now I'm the Devil, I horrify you, You say you're afraid of me, after loving me so much? 4. I am like fig candy, that melts in your mouth. The woman who tries me will go crazy with pleasure, and if she's married, she'll keep her mouth very quiet. In the jungle I saw burning the lamp of Money. I also saw at dawn an elegant firefly. How can I not want you if you were my first love? *It is difficult to understand what's being sung in this part
