The Importance of Local Insight and Financial Planning in Marketing Key Quotes; Balancing B2B and B2C: "It's always interesting to me because it's one of the biggest questions that we get is, how possible is it to run a b to c and b to b business? And I always think, well, I do it, so it can't be rocket science." 00:02:1600:02:28 "Because when you are somebody who is qualified to a high level in your area, you can give companies very different strategic support than what we would normally think of as being strategy. When you are working with both coaches, consultants from that kind of solopreneur space to working on marketing campaigns, especially when they have more budget, there's a lot more strategic guidance that goes into that." 00:09:4500:10:28 It's that as a marketer, sales doesn't necessarily come naturally to you. But when you set up your own business, you have to become a salesperson otherwise you're not going to earn any money. Some of the smaller businesses I work with, you have to speak to them about what sales they're doing because, ultimately, like other coaches and consultants I work with, they need to be doing that one to one outreach as well to generate it because marketing is not going to provide all the leads they need for generating the income they want to. 00.27.33 - 00.28.36 Key Resources Mentioned in this Episode: Tickets are now on sale for Converting Corporates 2025, use code CELEBRATE for your special discount here. Forget thinking about business in terms of B2B or B2C – It's time to think H2H; human to human. As much as lawyers and accountants will tell you that businesses are independent legal entities, in the end, they're a bunch of humans working together for some reason or other.Too many solopreneurs and founders hide behind the idea of being a “big business” when in fact they are human beings wanting to serve others. They forget that people want to connect with other people, and that connection can help them sustain their businesses financially and energetically.Human beings are hardwired to connect but we have too many barriers between us including screens, cultural biases, and our own limiting beliefs. In order to work well, we need to learn how to connect more.At the Happy Startup School, we believe in building a community around your business. But to build community you also need to build connections. And you can't really connect with others when you can't connect to yourself. It's a journey from the inside out.In his book, The Connection Playbook: A Practical Guide to Building Deep, Meaningful, Harmonious Relationships, Andy Chaleff invites us to investigate how we think about connection and to work on ourselves as well as our relationships. He asks us to foster more empathy, compassion and non-attachment in order to deepen our connection with others. The more we're able to stand on our own and not depend on others, the more we're able to connect and be in deep relationships with them.It seems paradoxical, but by not holding tightly onto outcomes and content, and focusing more on being present and the process of connection, we're more likely to bond with those before us, be they friends, family, romantic partners, or customers.Listen to this episode if you're curious about feeling more connection in your life and building a business that gives you a deeper sense of meaning through a deeper connection with those you serve.LinksJoin the conversation liveBecome a member of the Happy Startup SchoolJoin the next Vision 20/20 cohort

Jeannette is joined by Bryan Kramer, Proud Father of Human-to-Human: H2H. Executive Coach, Keynote Speaker, Investor, Virtual & In-Person Global Keynote Speaker, CEO of 2 Companies, and TEDTalker, for a discussion about how he achieved the success he's found. They discuss creating a more human brand, focusing on impact before why, the impact of AI and how to improve your public speaking. KEY TAKEAWAYS People make purchasing decisions based on emotion, which is why you must connect with them as a human. Keeping things simple makes it easier for people to see and understand what you offer and for you to deliver outstanding service. Be honest, share your challenges and imperfections. People face the similar issues and more readily connect with others who are open in this way. Be clear about the impact you want to have. Let go of who you think you are or are told to be. Replace it with who you really are. BEST MOMENTS 'Create the most human brand' 'The thing that we buy the most of is emotion' 'Put the person first' This is the perfect time to get focused on what YOU want to really achieve in your business, career, and life. The old ways of marketing your brand and selling your product are over. Brands need consumers to survive, but they have long disregarded the human side of business. Humans crave connection, and are not so easily reached by a catchy slogan or product description filled with industry words. Since the pandemic, people are now even less willing to spend time and money on a brand that doesn't know them. Humans want to trust, feel understood, and bond over shared flaws. In terms of sales, we relate to simplicity, empathy, imperfection, and intimacy. How does this translate into business practices? Bryan Kramer is on the show today to share how aiming for authenticity and creating moments that matter can give your brand that competitive edge. Called the “Zen Master to Digital Marketers” by Forbes, Bryan Kramer is a renowned business strategist, global keynote speaker, executive trainer and coach, investor, and Forbes contributor. Up to now, our Market Dominance Guys, Chris Beall and Corey Frank, have used this podcast as a platform addressing the topic of how to dominate B2B markets. But today, the guys are interviewing Jeff Lerner, founder, and CEO of Entre Institute, about the process he employs to dominate a B2C market. By placing daily video messages on social media about himself, his life, and his goal to help people improve their lives, Jeff proves to his prospects that he is a person they can identify with and, eventually, a person they can trust. It’s not as quick as a cold call: Jeff says it takes about six months of exposure to his messages before skepticism is diminished in his prospects’ minds and they trust him enough to be open to what his company offers. Chris compares the arc of Jeff’s social media campaign with that of a salesperson who makes cold calls, including the ambush of catching a prospect unaware with an unscheduled call — which is very much like what Jeff does when his videos pop up on social media, essentially ambushing his potential buyers and creating instant mistrust. Jeff explains that the more complex the problem is that you’re trying to solve for your prospects, the more mistrust there is for you to overcome. And, as he says, “You don’t build trust with knowledge or technical competence. You build it emotionally, empathetically.” Listen in while Chris, Corey, and Jeff discover more similarities between dominating business and consumer markets in this Market Dominance Guys’ episode, “B2B or B2C: It’s All About Gaining Trust.” About Our Guest Jeff Lerner is CEO and founder of Entre Institute, which provides business training, inspiration, and personal support through videos, messaging, online workshops, and one-on-one interaction for entrepreneurs who want to create online businesses and awesome lives.

“Does the Power Offer work for B2C?” It’s one of the most common questions I get. My answer is usually something along the lines of, “if people buy stuff in your market, the Power Offer will work.” My guest for this episode of Sold With Webinars – Alfred Karlsen – is a perfect example. He’s a dog trainer who sells high ticket online coaching programs for dog owners. I invited Alfred on to teach me about the dog owner market, how they respond to the Power Offer, and the results he’s seeing with his paid traffic. You’ll Discover Alfred’s first online business coach taught him to focus on organic marketing – how did that go for him? And how did he feel about it? [02:05] Dog trainers hate him! How Alfred’s scientific, anti-woo approach has earned him enemies in the dog training community [03:16] Why “High Ticket” is relative to the niche you’re in… but you can still sell $1k, $3k, and $5k+ packages [07:57] Alfred’s hesitations and concerns before joining High Ticket Courses… and what happened to his business after he joined [13:03] Alfred’s mental model of marketing before and after he discovered the Power Offer [18:28] ...And much more! ¿Podrías indicarnos algunos ejemplos a seguir? Pivot, evolution, shift ... whatever you call it, change is inevitable. It's wonderful when change happens under your control and the best of circumstances, but we don't often have this benefit. The events of 2020 have turned the world on its head. Marketers and business leaders, like all people, are being forced to adapt more rapidly than they could have ever anticipated. My guest is an acclaimed marketing leader, executive performance coach, and a great friend. He's the author of two books, "There Is No B2B or B2C: It's Human to Human #H2H" and "Shareology: How Sharing is Powering the Human Economy." We talked about the pace at which change happens, how the events of 2020 are accelerating the inevitable, and how sometimes a small shift is all it takes to make a big impact. On Episode 1 of Brand on Broadcasting with Ross Brand, PureMatter CEO Bryan Kramer talked about the value of going live in private Facebook groups vs on public Facebook pages, how Facebook is moving toward a paid content model, why he traveled to Toronto to record videos that he's giving away for free, and how Instagram's new vertical video platform, IGTV, could become the destination that everyone visits for online video. Bryan joined me for the interview in person at #SMWL18 (Social Media Week Lima, Ohio), the Midwest's largest social media conference, where we were both speakers. In addition to being one of the most respected thought leaders and accomplished public speakers in the industry, Bryan stands out among the leading social media and digital marketing personalities for his kindness, generosity and class. Today we join bestselling author and TEDx speaker Bryan Kramer to discuss the power of sharing to drive customer engagement and create lasting human connections. Viral content and the art of Shareology From sharing content to sharing rides, humans are hard-wired for sharing. But before we can share content and ideas customers will want to engage with, we must first understand why people share things in the first place. How does it relate to our brands? How does it relate to our customers’ goals? Bryan Kramer has it down to a science. Bryan gives us some valuable insights from his extensive research into the science of sharing, and how it has changed over the generations. It’s still different for everyone, so beware the tendency to assume all members of a given segment or generation share and interact with content the same way! As humans, Bryan explains, “we want to connect in ways that stands out. We want to be a part of something greater than ourselves.” The best brands strike a great balance between automation and personalization to stay efficient while forging mutually-rewarding relationships. Before you share anything else, please consider the four common elements to highly-engaging content that goes viral. Brian lays them all out for us and compares some real-life success stories from brands that get it. About our guest Bryan is an author of the recently released bestselling book There is No More B2B or B2C: It’s Human to Human #H2H.
