Being on the road too much also saw him develop type two diabetes. Only after his 11-year-old son pointed out the horrible life he was living did Bryan decide to quit it all.LEARNING: Relationships carry us through the highs, the mid-levels, and the lows. The old ways of marketing your brand and selling your product are over. Brands need consumers to survive, but they have long disregarded the human side of business. Humans crave connection, and are not so easily reached by a catchy slogan or product description filled with industry words. Since the pandemic, people are now even less willing to spend time and money on a brand that doesn't know them. Humans want to trust, feel understood, and bond over shared flaws. In terms of sales, we relate to simplicity, empathy, imperfection, and intimacy. How does this translate into business practices? Bryan Kramer is on the show today to share how aiming for authenticity and creating moments that matter can give your brand that competitive edge. Called the “Zen Master to Digital Marketers” by Forbes, Bryan Kramer is a renowned business strategist, global keynote speaker, executive trainer and coach, investor, and Forbes contributor.

Ep 12: Bryan Kramer is a Business Performance Coach, best selling author of two books, and TED Speaker. In this episode Bryan talks about the shifts social media has forced big businesses to make and why it's no longer B2B and instead it's H2H. He covers the importance of having a purpose and the impacts of losing sight of that purpose. Bryan walks through his rediscovery process, rebuilding his health and business, and the truth behind the power of the H2H concept. Marketers and business owners are always concerned about how people perceive their business. After all, customer perception can either make or break a business. However, this obsession to create a positive image for our brands causes a problem in brand authenticity. You only put out an image of perfection and people cannot know who you really are and therefore cannot relate or trust you. If you want to establish trust with your customer, you must show your true self and keep it real. Businesses are composed of people, and B2B is actually Human-to-Human (H2H) or People-to-People (P2P). Yes, you might lose some followers in the beginning, but later down the line, you'll gain more followers who actually resonate with your brand and your real and authentic self. That's why, in this episode, I have Leslie Ehm joining me to talk about Swagger and what it really means to be real and authentic and how brand authenticity can actually help you and your business be more confident, thereby unlocking your full potential.
Context & Clarity Podcast with Jeff Echols and Katharine MacPhail
How do you speak human in a technology world? That's the question we'll start with Thursday on Context & Clarity LIVE. As technology (whether BIM, AR, or VR, or Zoom, Slack, or SMS) makes it easier for us to communicate, does it make it harder for us to connect? Share your experience and advice, and ask your questions, Thursday at 4:00 pm ET. Context & Clarity LIVE is live-streamed on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitch, and YouTube.

¿Podrías indicarnos algunos ejemplos a seguir? Pivot, evolution, shift ... whatever you call it, change is inevitable. It's wonderful when change happens under your control and the best of circumstances, but we don't often have this benefit. The events of 2020 have turned the world on its head. Marketers and business leaders, like all people, are being forced to adapt more rapidly than they could have ever anticipated. My guest is an acclaimed marketing leader, executive performance coach, and a great friend. He's the author of two books, "There Is No B2B or B2C: It's Human to Human #H2H" and "Shareology: How Sharing is Powering the Human Economy." We talked about the pace at which change happens, how the events of 2020 are accelerating the inevitable, and how sometimes a small shift is all it takes to make a big impact. Does human-to-human have a place in business? Gone are the days when business is all about the big brands and huge corporations which seem impervious to who the customer is and what he really needs. This day and age is all about social business and of knowing, understanding, connecting with, and even developing a relationship with your potential and existing market. What it takes is true authenticity in the way you use technology and communication tools to make that individual on the other end feel he is interacting with a human being instead of a company or brand. This podcast episode focuses on how to be human in a seemingly non-human world and still grow your business. In this Episode: How Bryan's interest and work in human marketing was ignited How to humanize the use of chatbots in communication How to leverage technology to help with business while maintaining your authenticity as a human being/business owner Amount of time spent vs. Quality of value delivered in closing more business with customers How to silence the noise of technology and social media to permeate your target market Steps to take in humanizing your brand How talking to 10 people is better than sending emails to 10,000 How to attract the right people and build your tribe out of your authentic interests and unique passion The importance of self-care such as meditation in achieving work-life balance Bryan's free video series on humanizing marketing and branding; and one-on-one coaching All about the H2H Private Club, Hot Seat, and Master Class How doing something unexpected but needed, and in a personalized manner is an effectively humanized marketing for your business
On Episode 1 of Brand on Broadcasting with Ross Brand, PureMatter CEO Bryan Kramer talked about the value of going live in private Facebook groups vs on public Facebook pages, how Facebook is moving toward a paid content model, why he traveled to Toronto to record videos that he's giving away for free, and how Instagram's new vertical video platform, IGTV, could become the destination that everyone visits for online video. Bryan joined me for the interview in person at #SMWL18 (Social Media Week Lima, Ohio), the Midwest's largest social media conference, where we were both speakers. We sat down less than 24 hours after the announcement of IGTV. Bryan, as I've come to expect, already had formulated a strong and sensible take on the implications of this new video platform. I'm delighted to share our conversation and honored to present Bryan as the inaugural guest on Brand on Broadcasting. In addition to being one of the most respected thought leaders and accomplished public speakers in the industry, Bryan stands out among the leading social media and digital marketing personalities for his kindness, generosity and class. In the first few minutes of the episode, I talk about my reasons for starting a new podcast and how this one differs from The Livestream Universe Update and #LivestreamDeals. Morgan James Radio Episode 011: How Sharing is Powering the Human Economy with Bryan Kramer Today’s episode is all about Sharing. Today we join bestselling author and TEDx speaker Bryan Kramer to discuss the power of sharing to drive customer engagement and create lasting human connections. Viral content and the art of Shareology From sharing content to sharing rides, humans are hard-wired for sharing. But before we can share content and ideas customers will want to engage with, we must first understand why people share things in the first place. How does it relate to our brands? How does it relate to our customers’ goals? Bryan Kramer has it down to a science. Bryan gives us some valuable insights from his extensive research into the science of sharing, and how it has changed over the generations. It’s still different for everyone, so beware the tendency to assume all members of a given segment or generation share and interact with content the same way! As humans, Bryan explains, “we want to connect in ways that stands out. We want to be a part of something greater than ourselves.” The best brands strike a great balance between automation and personalization to stay efficient while forging mutually-rewarding relationships. Before you share anything else, please consider the four common elements to highly-engaging content that goes viral. Brian lays them all out for us and compares some real-life success stories from brands that get it. About our guest Bryan is an author of the recently released bestselling book There is No More B2B or B2C: It’s Human to Human #H2H.
