Tại đất nước được cho là khép kín nhất thế giới, nơi mọi hoạt động tiếp cận thông tin, mọi phương tiện truyền thông chính thức đều bị chế độ kiểm soát chặt chẽ nhưng lại vẫn có những vụ hành quyết công khai những người trẻ “mắc tội” xem các nội dung đến từ nước ngoài. Điều đó đã khiến không ít người tự hỏi rốt cuộc những thông tin này đã lọt qua được mạng lưới kiểm soát của chính quyền và đến được với những người dân Bắc Triều Tiên ra sao.  Hành quyết công khai  Hồi cuối tháng Sáu, bộ Thống Nhất Hàn Quốc ra một báo cáo cho biết chế độ Kim Jong Un đã tiến hành các vụ xử tử công khai theo “luật chống tư tưởng phản động” được ban hành năm 2020. Theo Le Monde, báo cáo dựa trên lời khai của 649 người tị nạn Bắc Triều Tiên đã trốn khỏi đất nước trong những năm gần đây, cho thấy nỗi lo ngại của chế độ Bình Nhưỡng trước những nội dung mang lại hình ảnh tích cực cho “kẻ thù phương Nam”. Trong báo cáo, tất cả những người tị nạn đều phát biểu ẩn danh. Một người cho biết đã chứng kiến vào năm 2022 cảnh hành quyết công khai một công nhân nông nghiệp 22 tuổi trong một mỏ thuộc tỉnh Hwanghae, nằm ở phía tây nam Bắc Triều Tiên. Vị thẩm phán khi tuyên án đã nói: “Anh ta bị bắt vì nghe bảy mươi bài hát và ba bộ phim của lũ tay sai bù nhìn (ám chỉ người Hàn Quốc). Trong quá trình thẩm vấn, phát hiện ra rằng anh ta đã phân phát những nội dung này cho bảy người khác.” Một nhân chứng khác thì cho biết ba người quen của bà đã bị xử bắn công khai trong năm 2023 vì họ đã xem phim truyền hình Hàn Quốc. Bà nói thêm rằng chế độ đã gọi họ là “những kẻ phản quốc.” Cha mẹ cũng bị buộc phải ký vào bản cam kết với nội dung: “Tôi đảm bảo rằng con tôi không xem các nội dung video không trong sáng tại nhà.” Không chỉ xem những bộ phim đến từ phương Nam, bất cứ ai ăn mặc hoặc nói chuyện theo “phong cách bù nhìn”, (tức phong cách Hàn Quốc), cũng đều bị gọi là “phản động”. Một số lời khai khác còn cho biết các thanh tra rà soát kỹ lưỡng danh bạ trong điện thoại di động để bảo đảm là tên được lưu theo cách gọi của Bắc Triều Tiên, chẳng hạn như “Cha”, thay vì theo cách gọi của Hàn Quốc như “Bố”. Điều này đặt ra một câu hỏi, rốt cuộc vì sao giới trẻ Bắc Triều Tiên vẫn có thể tiếp cận được với những thứ đến từ nước ngoài ? Những thông tin, bộ phim hay ấn phẩm từ Hàn Quốc đã lọt vào đất nước khép kín nhất thế giới như thế nào ? Mời quý vị cùng theo chân thông tín viên RFI Célio Fioretti đến gặp những người từng trốn thoát thành công khỏi chế độ Bình Nhưỡng và lắng nghe câu chuyện của họ.  Câu chuyện về những người truyền tin  Dù không có kết nối Internet toàn cầu và việc ra vào lãnh thổ được kiểm soát nghiêm ngặt nhưng vẫn có những thông tin lọt được qua lưới kiểm soát. Điều này là nhờ công việc của một số người, trong đó có Park Jong Ho, bản thân ông cũng là một người tị nạn Bắc Triều Tiên, nay đã trở thành người truyền tin. Ở bờ biển hoang sơ của đảo Gangwado, nơi có thể nhìn thấy bờ biển phía bắc chỉ cách vài cây số, Park Jong Ho và nhóm của ông thả xuống biển những chai nhựa bên trong chứa gạo và USB. Khi được hỏi mục đích của việc làm này là gì, ông Park cho hay :  “Chúng tôi dùng những chai nhựa như thế này, khoảng một lít hoặc hơn. Chúng tôi cho gạo vào, vì Bắc Triều Tiên thiếu lương thực nghiêm trọng. Trong thời Covid, chúng tôi còn cho thêm khẩu trang và thuốc men. Rồi chúng tôi bỏ thêm USB và thẻ SD. Trong đó có phim, phim truyền hình Hàn Quốc, và cả thông tin về Bắc Triều Tiên – những điều mà chế độ cố gắng che giấu, như tình trạng nghèo đói, suy dinh dưỡng hay bệnh tật. Sau đó, chúng tôi thả chai xuống nước, dòng hải lưu sẽ đưa chúng đến bờ biển Bắc Triều Tiên.”  Ông Park giải thích tiếp : “Khi còn ở Bắc Triều Tiên, công việc của tôi là gây nhiễu sóng radio để chặn mọi tín hiệu từ bên ngoài. Tôi bảo đảm với bạn rằng rất khó bắt được đài nước ngoài. Nhưng có đến một phần ba người dân Bắc Triều Tiên có điện thoại di động hoặc máy tính. Dù không kết nối Internet, họ vẫn có thể đọc được những gì chúng tôi gửi qua USB. Và điều đó thì chế độ không thể lần ra được.”  Khi được hỏi về hiệu quả của phương pháp này và rằng liệu nhóm của ông đã từng nhận được phản hồi từ người Bắc Triều Tiên nào tìm thấy những chai này chưa, ông cho biết : “Có. Có một câu chuyện khá thú vị. Một người tị nạn kể với tôi rằng anh ta từng tìm thấy một chai nhựa trên bờ biển, bên trong có USB của chúng tôi. Anh ta đã xem những gì trong đó và nói rằng điều đó đã thôi thúc anh cùng gia đình trốn đi. Nhưng vì sợ cảnh sát lục soát và phát hiện USB từ nước ngoài, anh ta định nuốt chiếc USB để giấu cảnh sát. Anh ta còn nói: “Lần sau, làm ơn hãy dùng USB nhỏ hơn, cái này nuốt khó quá.” “Chợ đen”, cánh cửa mở ra thế giới  Đương nhiên những chiếc chai nhỏ mang theo lương thực và thông tin về đất nước phía Nam không phải là con được duy nhất giúp người dân Bắc Triều Tiên tiếp cận với thế giới bên ngoài. Trong nạn đói những năm 1990, nhiều người Bắc Triều Tiên đã sang Trung Quốc. Khi ở đó, họ có thể mang hàng hóa về. Chính từ đó mà nạn buôn lậu qua biên giới Trung – Triều bắt đầu phát triển. Những hàng hóa từ Trung Quốc này sau đó được bày bán tại các Jangmadang, tức là các chợ tự phát. Nhưng khi nói đến “chợ”, cần phân biệt nhiều loại. Có những chợ chính thức, được chế độ cho phép, nhưng cũng có rất nhiều chợ tư nhân, do các cá nhân điều hành, hoạt động ngoài tầm kiểm soát của chính quyền Bình Nhưỡng.  Cô Anna Song, chuyên gia nghiên cứu dữ liệu về Bắc Triều Tiên, cho biết : “Hầu như có đủ mọi thứ tại các khu chợ này, giống như những gì ta có thể thấy ở một khu chợ chính thức. Nhưng điều người ta thường nhắc đến nhiều là việc trao đổi thông tin cũng diễn ra tại những khu chợ này. Ở những khu chợ phi chính thức, trong các ngõ nhỏ, dưới mái tôn của những nhà kho, hoặc ngay tại nhà riêng – cả một thế hệ người Bắc Triều Tiên đã lớn lên cùng với hệ thống “tự xoay sở” này. Chính nó đã giúp họ có được công cụ để suy nghĩ vượt ra ngoài khuôn khổ ý thức hệ mà chế độ áp đặt.”  Từ dân thường đến những người thân cận với chế độ  Để tìm hiểu sâu hơn về cách người Bắc Triều Tiên tiếp cận với thế giới thông qua các khu chợ tự phát này, thông tín viên của RFI đã đến gặp Oh Gang Myung, một thanh niên từng đào thoát khỏi chế độ Bình Nhưỡng cùng với cha mẹ mình và hiện anh đang là một chủ doanh nghiệp về công nghệ thông tin ở Hàn Quốc. Anh Oh cho biết đã tiếp cận với các chợ đen vì đã phải trải qua một tuổi thơ nghèo khó.Anh nói : “Cha mẹ tôi làm việc ở mỏ. Đó là vào những năm 90, thời kỳ nạn đói. Tôi đã chứng kiến hàng xóm chết vì đói. Vì vậy phải kiếm chút tiền ở chợ đen. Gia đình tôi bắt đầu nấu rượu và lén mang đi bán ở các chợ đen.” Chính từ đây cánh cửa nhìn ra thế giới đã hiện ra trước mắt anh.  Việc phát tán những thông tin này không chỉ dừng lại trong tầng lớp dân thường, qua các hoạt động trao đổi ở chợ đen, mà còn diễn ra trong chính giới tinh hoa, thân cận với chế độ. Cô Kang Ji Yeon, một nữ doanh nhân trẻ hiện đang làm việc ở Hàn Quốc, xuất thân từ một gia đình giàu có, thân cận với quyền lực ở Bắc Triều Tiên. Cô cho biết bản thân lớn lên với các phim ảnh và ấn phẩm giải trí của Hàn Quốc trước khi đào thoát. Cô Kang nói : “Một người bạn của cha tôi làm việc ở sở cảnh sát. Ông ấy tịch thu các USB hay tạp chí nước ngoài mà người dân sở hữu bất hợp pháp. Nhưng sau đó, ông lại chia sẻ chúng với chúng tôi. Nhờ vậy mà tôi đã xem được rất nhiều phim truyền hình Hàn Quốc. Tôi thấy người Hàn Quốc có cách ăn mặc thật đẹp và phong cách. Chính điều đó đã truyền cảm hứng để tôi khởi nghiệp với thương hiệu thời trang riêng.”  Không ít người trẻ Bắc Triều Tiên đào thoát khỏi đất nước đã thành công trong công việc và cuộc sống mới ở Hàn Quốc, dù họ phải trải qua không ít khó khăn và sự cạnh tranh với những người trẻ tại đất nước phía Nam. Tuy nhiên, kể từ đại dịch Covid-19, chủ tịch Kim Jong Un đã siết chặt kiểm soát biên giới. Nếu trong những năm 2010, mỗi năm có hơn 1.000 người Bắc Triều Tiên vượt biên sang miền Nam, thì hiện nay con số này dưới 100 người. Điều đó đã khiến nhiều người tự hỏi liệu thế hệ trẻ này có phải là thế hệ cuối cùng còn có cơ hội trốn khỏi Bắc Triều Tiên, thoát ra khỏi những hoạt động tuyên truyền của chế độ và hoà nhập với thế giới bên ngoài.

Si l'émergence du mouvement «body positive» avait permis de mettre en avant d'autres discours et d'autres corps, la minceur voire la maigreur continue d'être érigée en standard de beauté dans de nombreux pays. Des injonctions qui poussent les jeunes filles à se sentir toujours trop grosses. Comment résister à ces discours complexants ? Comment construire son identité de femme loin des stéréotypes ? Pourquoi la tradition des bains subsiste-t-elle dans des pays d'Asie comme la Corée du Sud ou le Japon ? Dans les villes occidentales au contraire, l'arrivée de l'eau courante dans les foyers et sa démocratisation, ont peu à peu transféré le bain et la douche de la sphère publique à la sphère privée, bouleversant nos habitudes, notre rapport au corps et à l'intime. Les bains publics n'en restent pas moins un espace d'hygiène précieux pour les personnes en situation de précarité. La ville de Paris compte, par exemple, 17 établissements donnant l'accès à environ 500 cabines de douche gratuitement. Un service insuffisant qui met en évidence nos inégalités d'accès à l'eau et à la propreté. Some Black leaders from the Chicago area are urging others to ditch Democrats and vote Republican. After Wednesday's GOP breakfast outside the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee Wednesday, Republican Cook County State's Attorney candidate Bob Fioretti made his case to the media that he will bring back law and order. Pip Fioretti is a Sydney-based author who has been writing fiction since 2006 alongside a career in visual arts.  In the 2021 Sydney lockdown and inspired by walks she'd taken though the arid rangelands of western NSW, Pip wrote the first draft for a novel that would become her first crime novel - 'Bone Lands'. Released by Affirm Press at the end of March, 'Bone Lands' is a highly evocative, compelling and somewhat confronting novel which delves into Australia's dark past and prosperity built on the back of the pastoral industry.  A thoroughly engrossing, sobering novel that heralds a bright future for one of Australia's newest outback noir writers.  I enjoyed a wide-ranging, fascinating chat with Pip for the podcast recently.

George was a favorite patron saint of crusaders, as well as of Eastern soldiers in earlier times. He is a patron saint of England, Portugal, Germany, Aragon, Catalonia, Genoa, Milan and Bologna. Reflection Human nature seems to crave more than cold historical data. Americans have Washington and Lincoln, but we somehow need Paul Bunyan, too. The life of Saint Francis of Assisi is inspiring enough, but for centuries the Italians have found his spirit in the legends of the Fioretti, too. Santa Claus is the popular extension of the spirit of Saint Nicholas. The legends about Saint George are part of this yearning. There is every reason to believe that he was a real martyr who suffered at Lydda in Palestine, probably before the time of Constantine. The Church adheres to his memory, but not to the legends surrounding his life. That he was willing to pay the supreme price to follow Christ is what the Church believes. And it is enough. The story of George's slaying the dragon, rescuing the king's daughter, and converting Libya is a 12th-century Italian fable. George was a favorite patron saint of crusaders, as well as of Eastern soldiers in earlier times. He is a patron saint of England, Portugal, Germany, Aragon, Catalonia, Genoa, Milan and Bologna. Reflection Human nature seems to crave more than cold historical data. Americans have Washington and Lincoln, but we somehow need Paul Bunyan, too. The life of Saint Francis of Assisi is inspiring enough, but for centuries the Italians have found his spirit in the legends of the Fioretti, too. Santa Claus is the popular extension of the spirit of Saint Nicholas. The legends about Saint George are part of this yearning. Both fact and legend are human ways of illumining the mysterious truth about the One who alone is holy.
