Where do you turn when you have been knocked to your knees? In this episode, Jeff, Jeff, Bob, and Peter discuss: Beginning an entrepreneurial journey as a 5th-grade loan shark and a middle school bookie. How parents and grandparents inform family values. Planting the seeds of giving back from a young age. Painful honesty in times of feast and famine.Key Takeaways: You can learn anything that you put your mind to. Don't be afraid to take big risks, lean into your support community, and take a chance. Make mistakes. Learn from those mistakes. Keep pushing forward. Often, failure sets you up for something even greater.Everything you learn is worthwhile. You never know what you're going to be able to use in the future. Giving is about more than writing a check. Find something that matters to you and give of your time, talent, and love. "Start paying attention to what brings you joy. I would guarantee just writing checks to a big charitable organization without seeing the impact is not going to bring you joy." — Peter Fioretti Episode References: HOPE International: https://www.hopeinternational.org/ About Peter Fioretti: Peter Fioretti is the Founder and CEO of Mountain Funding, as well as The Fioretti Family Foundation. Some Black leaders from the Chicago area are urging others to ditch Democrats and vote Republican. After Wednesday's GOP breakfast outside the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee Wednesday, Republican Cook County State's Attorney candidate Bob Fioretti made his case to the media that he will bring back law and order. Pastor David Lowery Jr., a pastor with Universal Baptist Church in Harvey, stood alongside Fioretti and said Black voters should join him in ditching the Democratic party.Support this podcast: https://secure.anedot.com/franklin-news-foundation/ce052532-b1e4-41c4-945c-d7ce2f52c38a?source_code=xxxxxx
Pip Fioretti is a Sydney-based author who has been writing fiction since 2006 alongside a career in visual arts. In the 2021 Sydney lockdown and inspired by walks she'd taken though the arid rangelands of western NSW, Pip wrote the first draft for a novel that would become her first crime novel - 'Bone Lands'. Released by Affirm Press at the end of March, 'Bone Lands' is a highly evocative, compelling and somewhat confronting novel which delves into Australia's dark past and prosperity built on the back of the pastoral industry. A thoroughly engrossing, sobering novel that heralds a bright future for one of Australia's newest outback noir writers. I enjoyed a wide-ranging, fascinating chat with Pip for the podcast recently.
Full Text of ReadingsTuesday of the Fourth Week of Easter Lectionary: 280The Saint of the day is Saint GeorgeSaint George's Story Saint George is the object of a vast amount of imagination. There is every reason to believe that he was a real martyr who suffered at Lydda in Palestine, probably before the time of Constantine. The Church adheres to his memory, but not to the legends surrounding his life. That he was willing to pay the supreme price to follow Christ is what the Church believes. And it is enough. The story of George's slaying the dragon, rescuing the king's daughter, and converting Libya is a 12th-century Italian fable. George was a favorite patron saint of crusaders, as well as of Eastern soldiers in earlier times. He is a patron saint of England, Portugal, Germany, Aragon, Catalonia, Genoa, Milan and Bologna. The life of Saint Francis of Assisi is inspiring enough, but for centuries the Italians have found his spirit in the legends of the Fioretti, too.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/stev-fioretti-91015b31In the luminal space where theater, storytelling, and clowning intersect, a metamorphosis of the mind unfolds—a dance of artistry and introspection that ignites the dormant sparks of growth within individuals. Theater's stage becomes a portal, a canvas upon which the complexities of existence are painted. Through its immersive narratives, audiences traverse landscapes of emotion, glimpsing the world through myriad perspectives. In the alchemy of storytelling, ancient wisdom and contemporary dilemmas intertwine, bridging cultures and generations with the threads of universal truths. It is here that the power of empathy blooms, where individuals grow not just in understanding, but in the very essence of what it means to be human.Enter the realm of the clown, the enigmatic figure whose exaggerated antics and poignant vulnerability transcend mere laughter. Beneath layers of slapstick humor lies a profound commentary on the human condition—an invitation to shed inhibitions and embrace the liberating art of authenticity. Through clowning, barriers crumble, and hearts open to the unexpected. In the face of absurdity, the world gains a new luster, a fresh lens through which its quirks and complexities are transformed into a carnival of wonder. The clown, with his unadorned spirit, beckons us to see the world afresh, to find beauty in the unconventional, and to celebrate the tapestry of existence with childlike exuberance.United, theater, storytelling, and clowning form a trinity of transformation. They challenge us to confront our preconceptions, to journey beyond our comfort zones, and to emerge with a perspective as kaleidoscopic as the stories they tell. As the final act draws near, the audience, now both participant and observer, carries forward the gift of expanded consciousness—a testament to the potency of these mediums to cultivate growth, to unveil the extraordinary in the ordinary, and to kindle the eternal flames of curiosity and enlightenment.

And telemedicine has been done the same way for a long time now. It just became wildly popular during the pandemic. To talk about that, Gina Fioretti, she's with Recuro Health.

The young geeks revolutionising health data in France with Covidtracker. How the pandemic has boosted demand for home-grown flowers. And Charles Perrault, father of the fairy tale genre. Some ten million people a day visit Covidtracker, which takes the government's official Covid data and presents it in an engaging and easy-to-digest way. Set up a year ago by Guillaume Rozier, a young data wiz, 40 volunteers now keep the site running. Elias Orphelin (@eorphelin), a 22-year old marketing analyst, was one of the first to join Rozier in the adventure. He talks about helping his country by "making data speak" and how the independent, apolitical nature of their platform has boosted public trust in the vaccination campaign. (Listen @2'45'') The Covid pandemic is transforming the French flower business. While the vast majority of flowers sold in France are imported from Holland, the first lockdown shut down transit routes and forced florists to turn to French growers. They're now seeing a boom in demand which they're struggling to meet. Florist Johanna Cacciamani, who sells only French flowers at her shop Fioretti, has seen her business grow and thrive during the pandemic. We accompany her to the Rungis wholesale market to buy flowers from local growers. (Listen @17'10'') Charles Perrault wrote the classic version of many of the world's most famous fairy tales in his 1697 book Histoires ou contes du temps passé, Stories or tales of times gone by, sometimes known as Mother Goose tales. The father of the modern fairy tale, whose versions of Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella are still popular, died on 16 May 1703. (Listen @13'35'') This episode was mixed by Cecile Pompeani. "We're going into these deals with the intent of partnering with Founders, that they're going to continue to be involved, and the last thing we want or need is for them to be surprised or disappointed with something along the way," states Rob Fioretti, Managing Director of Palladin Consumer Retail Partners. Rob has been in the private equity space for more than 25 years and in this chat with Pete, he provides extremely valuable information on what Palladin looks for in companies as well as the benefits of partnering with institutional partners versus using personal capital. He and Pete shed important light on the "business" of raising capital, why a firm may say no, some "behind the scenes" thoughts on valuations, what questions to ask before deciding to partner with a venture capital or private equity firm, the return of the studio model, and more!

Produsert av Mainstream AS for SRFwww.srf.nowww.mainstream.as See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Entrevista com o Diretor de Serviços Lourival Guerreiro e Leonardo Fioretti, Analista Especialista em Fluig da CRM Inteligent Services.
John Howell welcomes Bob Fioretti in studio to discuss his bid for Cook County State's Attorney. Fioretti outlines why he's more qualified than Bill Conway and how Kim Foxx's issues extend beyond Jussie Smollett.
Mercoledì delle ceneri: significato. Storia di Ninive, risparmiata dal digiuno. Storia di Sodoma: castigata per i peccati. L’importanza dei fioretti.
Kim "The Fixx" Foxx, Jussie Smollett and the March 17 Democratic Primary Seasons 2 Episode 2, February 13, 2020 Ray Hanania on Politics looks closely at the abuse of power by Cook County States Attorney Kim Foxx, or "Kim The Fixx Foxx," & her decision to drop charges against Jussie Smollett, the mediocre TV actor who lied about being the victim of a racist homophobic attack in January 2019 to bolster his sagging public image. Foxx didn't "mishandle" the Smollett case. She intentionally handled it putting politics and celebrity friendship above her job to enforce the Rule of Law. Foxx faces three good candidates, Bob Fioretti, Donna More and Bill Conway. Although I like both Fioretti and More, I think the election campaign is showing that Bill Conway is leading the pack and the goal is to oust Foxx who stumbled into the office by defeating Anita Alvarez. Many argue Foxx "beat" Alvarez, but the truth is Alvarez beat herself and Foxx just lucked into the office. It's been almost four years for Foxx and she has proven to be a terrible States Attorney who puts the interest of her political pals above justice. The biggest criticism of More is she is running one of the worst election campaigns I've seen in 45 years of covering politics. More's campaign is terrible and that is surprising. She's a friend who I admire with great credentials as a former prosecutor, and I once worked with her husband who is one of the most brilliant PR and marketing professionals I have come to meet. But there is an old saying that a person can never do their own PR and in this case, I have to think that might be the problem. I mean when I went to find information on More this week, four weeks before the March 17 Democratic Primary election, I found her Twitter page which promotes a link to her campaign website, at voteformore.com. But when you go there it opens into a page offering to sell the site to the highest bidder. Try it yourself. It's a sophomoric mistake that no candidate should make or has to make given how easy it is to create websites. You almost wonder if Donna is in the race to help Kim "The Fixx" Foxx. Bob Fioretti is also a friend who I admire and have supported in the past and I would have loved to see him build up momentum against Foxx, but that doesn't seem to be happening. AT least when you click on Fioretti's campaign website link on his Twitter account, it takes you to a detailed page about his credentials and issues. www.bobforstatesattorney.com. You definitely should go there and check it out. But the issue is removing Kim "The Fixx" Foxx from office and to elect someone whose priority is the safety of the residents of Cook County from increasing crime and violence, not someone who places a higher priority on her political cronies, pals and the famous and celebrities. Kim "The Fixx" Foxx should resign, but no one willingly leaves an office they are unqualified to hold. The leading candidate is Bill Conway, a former prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and former Navy Intelligence Officer who fought the Taliban. He is mounting a formidable challenge to Kim "The Fixx" Foxx. His website is newdayconway.com. Any of the leading challengeers against Kim "The Fixx" Foxx would be great replacements, Fioretti, More and especially Conway.

“The machines are coming for our jobs!” How many times have you heard someone say some version of this? “We’re all going to be replaced with automation!” Or, “It’s just a matter of time before they give my job to a robot or a machine.” While it’s true that AI is developing rapidly, maybe, just maybe, our fears about the irrelevance of humanity are just a bit to premature? On this episode, we heard from Stephen Fioretti, VP, CX ISV Strategic Alliances at Oracle, about AI. What we talked about: The future of AI and customer service. How to efficiently use AI in your customer service organizations. Why no matter how advanced AI gets, you still need a human side. Showing a marked curiosity. Blurry Photos is in search of the truth behind stigmata in this episode of the podcast! A supposed phenomena where a person physically exhibits the wounds of Jesus Christ on the cross, stigmata is considered holy by some and hoaxes by others. Cases of it have been reported for centuries. Flora takes a passive observer's approach and looks at both sides of the debate. The Roman Catholic church has recognized it as a miracle, though not every case. Skeptics have found fraud in many cases. David looks at a few of the many cases and also how science has viewed it over the years, leaving you with some thoughts to consider as to its validity. Have some faith in this informative episode of Blurry Photos! Meditation tips from a guy who once meditated himself into a massive Kundalini overload and almost died. Yeah, He might have learned a thing or two, the value of taking it slow.
Reality shifted one hard knock at a time. Louis Fioretti endured a mind-numbing intense road of consciousness transformation. Gritty and compelling, his life story flushes out the bricks in the walls he obliterated on the way to spiritual awareness.
