How dangerous is Tucker Carlson? So dangerous that it isn't enough that the host of the most-viewed program on cable was relieved of his duties by Fox News; now the New York Times and other mainstream media outlets must also assassinate his character and reputation. Tuesday night, the NYT fired what it hopes is a kill shot to Carlson's reputation. The Times, the voice of the alphabet agencies, published a personal text from Carlson to a producer that Times editors believe paints Carlson as a bigot. “Tucker is a nagging, dangerous thorn in the side of the surveillance agencies and globalists. ... Carlson challenges authority. He asks troubling and important questions.” Jason believes there's a larger message being sent in the assault of Carlson and that it should change the way God's people engage in the culture war. “Fearless” contributor Royce White adds his perspective to the Tucker discussion. Plus, Steve Kim joins the show to discuss LeBron and the Lakers' Game 1 win over the Warriors and Jordan Poole's questionable shot at the end of the game. LSU's Angel Reese has capitalized on NIL, parlaying her disrespect of Caitlin Clark into a brand-new Benz on her birthday. Jason and Steve debate the message this sends to other NCAA athletes. In Tennessee Harmony, Anthony and Virgil Walker help us understand the role of slavery in the Bible. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
A day after the news broke that Fox News was parting ways with Tucker Carlson, Jason collects and shares his thoughts on what contributed to the decision to end cable news' top rated show. “Tucker Carlson is a white man who used his platform to promote Judeo-Christian culture and the patriarchy. There was a time when his dominant ratings would have protected him from the special-interest groups. Ratings used to be the box hosts were required to check. That time has passed. Message is king.” Former Fox employee and Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake joins the show to share an important message to Tucker Carlson. “Fearless” contributors Delano Squires, Shemeka Michelle and Bryson Gray add their voices to the conversation. And, Steve Kim drops in to discuss a parade of sports news, including Aaron Rodgers becoming a New York Jet, Jalen Rose calling Phil Jackson a racist and LSU's Angel Reese tells Shaq to back off. The two Tiger teammates share how their tight knit bond has motivated one another, held each other accountable and supported each other through the highs and lows of the past couple months while building a championship mentality every time they stepped on the court. Both women growing up in single mother households, attribute their determination and swag to their mothers who paved the way for them to have the opportunities they do. Angel took Flau, a freshman, under her wing after bumping heads early in their season and led by example to show Flau and her other teammates what it takes to have a heart of a champion. Angel, named the Most Outstanding Player Of 2023 NCAA Championship, is known for her dominant play on the court just as much for her voice off the court as well. Amassing over 1M social media followers, Angel shares how she has used her position in sports not just to be one of the best to do it but setting out to be most influential as well. She shares with the guys her thought process for some of her comments and double downed on her words being proud of the lane she has created for herself and women who look like her. Pursuing a passion of music all her life, Flau'jae was always doubted that she could be successful as a rapper and a basketball player but being named SEC freshman of the year after winning the NCAA title has proved the naysayers wrong. Flau' said her “ahhh moment” was Sunday evening when the confetti was pouring down and she was hugging the championship trophy while her song blared through the speakers of the arena…Flau' emotionally shared how meaningful it all was to have everything click at once and grateful to her mother for never giving up their plan and paid a special tribute to her father who was killed before she was born. Channing gets the girls laughing and asks about Coach Mulkey's fashion style for game days asking if they get to hold her accountable for her outfit choices just as she holds them accountable for their play on the court. “I'm pro-secession. That's the only path forward for those of us that believe in God.” Jason minces no words when it comes to what he describes as America's inevitable collapse. The indictment of Donald Trump for political gain prompted Jason to face the uncomfortable truths that have fractured our country along spiritual and political lines. “We have no common ground with the other side. They believe men can get pregnant, and they want to have discussions about that.” Host of “Please, Call Me Crazy” and “Fearless” contributor Royce White wants America to adopt a completely different strategy and joins the show to lay out his plan for returning the United States to its former status as a global power. Rogan O'Handley is known to millions on social media as “DC Draino.” The conservative commentator left a career as a Hollywood entertainment attorney to help with Donald Trump's mission of “draining the swamp.” He joins "Fearless" to offer Jason some hope that America isn't beyond the point of no return. On today's episode I discuss what happened after the LSU-Iowa Women's National Championship game. Iowa's standout player Caitlin Clark made a "John Cena hand gesture" earlier in the tournament, but when LSU's Angel Reese did it after the game, she was criticized by many. Clark is White and Reese is Black, thus the attacks of racism began. The problem is, if we are being objective, the two acts of taunting were not similar and yet that is being glossed over by the national media members who are declaring racism. I discuss the commentary of Shannon Sharp of FS1 and Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. Both commentators said the incidents were exactly the same. Again, I don't know how any person can make that claim. The bottom line is race is once again at the forefront of an incident due to different opinions. It is a disturbing trend, and we should all think twice about why that is. The Women's National Championship game between Iowa and LSU was the most watched women's game in history with 9.9 million viewers. It is a shame thought that almost all of the conversation is centered around Iowa's Caitlin Clark and LSU's Angel Reese. Clark is White and Reese is black and unfortunately the narrative has turned into claims of racism due to the criticism towards Reese for her taunting at the end of the game.
