In this emergency episode of Ungovernable Misfits, we explore the potential cosmic and earthly threats that could impact our world. Return guest, Kerim, presents a theory that combines astrophysical phenomena with the current state of our planet, suggesting that we may be on the brink of a significant event. 1 - Solar Maximum - The Sun is at the maximal peak of it's 11 year cycle, there is a confirmed increase in solar flare activity which suggests an increased risk of a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME).https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/solar-maximum-could-hit-us-harder-and-sooner-than-we-thought-how-dangerous-will-the-suns-chaotic-peak-be/https://science.nasa.gov/science-research/heliophysics/nasa-noaa-sun-reaches-maximum-phase-in-11-year-solar-cycle/https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/14/science/sun-cycles-solar-maximum-minimum-corona.html2 - Earth's magnetic field is weakened - The magnetic field that sheilds us from solar plasma is at a low which leaves us more vulnerable to solar particle radiation and plasma discharges such as a CME.https://www.esa.int/Applications/Observing_the_Earth/FutureEO/Swarm/Swarm_probes_weakening_of_Earth_s_magnetic_fieldhttps://www.space.com/23131-earth-magnetic-field-shift-explained.htmlhttps://www.sciencefocus.com/planet-earth/earth-magnetic-fieldhttps://www.livescience.com/62577-earth-magnetic-field-drifts.html3 - Local Nova activity & Energy storage - Two confirmed Nova are currently visible. V462 Lupi (in the constellation Lupus, the wolf, one Ptolomy's 48 constellations) and V572 Velorum (in the large constellation Argo Navis, a great ship shaped constellation) are both classic nova. These are binary star systems that undergo periodic explosions. Exploding stars pulse a direct current through the normally alternating current plasma system of the galaxy. Almost all astronomical bodies have alternating layers of conductive plasmas and insulating uncharged matter (Earth's layers include the Ionosphere, Plasmasphere, Magnetosheath, Magnetosphere and could include the oceans and or subterranean plasma layers) in this manner they can act as multilayered capacitors. When an Alternating Current (AC) is applied to a capacitor, it acts like a resistor in a DC circuits, dissipating energy and attenuating it's flow. When a Direct Current (DC) is applied to a capacitor, it acts as a battery as electric potential difference builds between the conductive plasma layers. This stores energy in the system increasing the risk of plasma discharges such as a CME.In short, the local Nova activity generates DC pulses into the local plasma system making bodies act as batteries instead of resistors increasing the energy potentials and the risk of a CME. https://www.iflscience.com/for-only-the-second-recorded-time-two-novae-are-visible-with-the-naked-eye-at-once-79824https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1364682617303711https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/B0122270908001445https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1364682612000995https://www.nature.com/articles/s41550-019-0819-74 - The Taurid meteor stream - The presence of a conductive material into the solar system (such as a comet stream made up of metallic meteor fragments) could mediate an electrical discharge by lowering the resistance of the system.Meteors are largely comprised of Iron. The meteor stream could act as "Iron filings" sprinkled between highly charged conductive plates. This could trigger a plasma discharge (arc discharge, essentially lightning) or CME.An even more dangerous scenario could see the discharge diverting one or more meteors from the stream towards Earth. This could be a beautiful display of shooting stars and Northern Lights or a Younger Dryas Level event. We pass through the stream every June and November.5 - Psychosocial Temperature - Pick any issue, any fucking issue. Epstein, JFK, 911, Macron's Husband, Mass migration, the Genocide of the Palestinians. The people in power are acting like they will never face accountability for their crimes. In fact they are behaving like they know everything is coming down and they've known about it for a while and are prepped, ready and taking advantage of teh situation like the parasites they are. There are rumours of a 21 Trillion dollar breakaway civilisation (Caroline Fitz solari.com). Underground structures and spaceships. Elon Musk is boring tunnels and he and Bezos are sending rockets to space. It certainly seems like the people who would know about this are acting exactly as you would expect them to if it were true. The Sun will have dropped back to minimum activity levels by 2030. The greatest risk is over the next three months. If we make it past November then the immediate danger is over and we could have hundreds or even thousands of years before this level of risk is approached again.FOUNDATIONhttps://foundation.xyz/ungovernableFoundation builds Bitcoin-centric tools that empower you to reclaim your digital sovereignty. As a sovereign computing company, Foundation is the antithesis of today's tech conglomerates. This black hole, catalogued as LID568, was observed by the Webb Space Telescope and is providing new insights into the rapid growth mechanisms of black holes shortly after the Big Bang. The findings challenge existing theories on how these cosmic giants formed so quickly and open new avenues for future research.*Uranus' Magnetic Mysteries UnveiledNew analysis of 38-year-old data from NASA's Voyager 2 spacecraft reveals that a space weather event dramatically compressed Uranus' magnetosphere just before the flyby in 1986. This event provides clues to the planet's unusual magnetic field and suggests that Uranus' moons might be more geologically active than previously thought. The findings are crucial for understanding this enigmatic ice giant and its unique characteristics.*New Satellite to Track Earth's Surface MovementsScientists are preparing to launch a new satellite, the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR), designed to measure ground movement on Earth's surface. What would you like to see more of? Let us know!In this episode of Discover Daily we explore a new revelation: scientists have discovered that NASA's historic 1986 Voyager 2 flyby of Uranus occurred during an extremely rare solar wind event, leading to decades of potentially misleading assumptions about the ice giant's magnetic environment. The spacecraft encountered Uranus during a powerful solar wind compression that occurs less than 4% of the time, capturing the planet in an unusual state that may have skewed our entire understanding of its magnetosphere.T he compressed state observed during the flyby likely pushed plasma out of the system while intensifying radiation belts, suggesting that Uranus's magnetic environment might be more similar to other gas giants than previously thought. This discovery challenges long-held beliefs about Uranus's "vacuum" magnetosphere and unexpectedly intense radiation belts, indicating these might be temporary features rather than permanent characteristics. This revelation has major implications for future space exploration, particularly in the search for subsurface oceans on Uranian moons. Scientists now believe that Uranus's largest moons, Titania and Oberon, spend most of their time within the planet's magnetic bubble, making future ocean detection missions more feasible than previously thought. The findings will significantly influence how we plan future missions to Uranus, emphasizing the need for extended observation periods rather than brief encounters. From Perplexity's Discover Feed:https://www.perplexity.ai/page/we-might-be-wrong-about-uranus-12krxS2oQOq.kkW8sici9QPerplexity is the fastest and most powerful way to search the web. What if the Earth's core suddenly stopped spinning? Well, that would be wild! The magnetic field protecting us from harmful space radiation could weaken or even disappear, making Earth a target for solar winds. This could mess with our technology, causing major disruptions in communication and navigation systems. Climate patterns could go haywire, leading to unpredictable weather and possibly more extreme natural disasters. It's a pretty scary thought, so let's be glad the Earth's core is still spinning! Let's take a look upward and downward and examine the center of the Earth as well as its far-flung outer boundary.

Implications from the velocity profile of the M87 jet: a possibility of a slowly rotating black hole magnetosphere

Implications from the velocity profile of the M87 jet: a possibility of a slowly rotating black hole magnetosphere by Motoki Kino et al. on Thursday 15 September Motivated by the measured velocity profile of the M87 jet using the KVN and VERA Array (KaVA) by Park et al. indicating that the starting position of the jet acceleration is farther from the central engine of the jet than predicted in general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic simulations, we explore how to mitigate the apparent discrepancy between the simulations and the KaVA observation. We use a semi-analytic jet model proposed by Tomimatsu and Takahashi. consistently solving the trans-magnetic field structure but neglecting any dissipation effects. By comparing the jet model with the observed M87 jet velocity profile, we find that the model can reproduce the logarithmic feature of the velocity profile, and can fit the observed data when choosing $c/(100r_{g}) lesssim Omega_{F} lesssim c/(70r_{g})$ where $r_{g}$ is the gravitational radius. While a total specific energy (${cal E}$) of the jet changes the terminal bulk Lorentz factor of the jet, a slower angular velocity of the black hole magnetosphere (funnel region) ($Omega_{F}$) makes a light-cylinder radius ($r_{rm lc}$) larger and it consequently pushes out a location of a starting point of the jet acceleration. Using the estimated $Omega_{F}$ we further estimate the magnetic field strength on the event horizon scale in M87 by assuming Blandford-Znajek (BZ) process is in action. The corresponding magnetic flux threading the event horizon of M87 is in good agreement with a magnetically arrested disc (MAD) regime. arXiv: http://arxiv.org/abs/http://arxiv.org/abs/2209.07264v1

Radiative reconnection-powered TeV flares from the black hole magnetosphere in M87

Radiative reconnection-powered TeV flares from the black hole magnetosphere in M87 by Hayk Hakobyan et al. on Tuesday 06 September Active Galactic Nuclei in general, and the supermassive black hole in M87 in particular, show bright and rapid gamma-ray flares up to energies of 100 GeV and above. For M87, the flares show multiwavelength components, and the variability timescale is comparable to the dynamical time of the event horizon, suggesting that the emission may come from a compact region nearby the nucleus. However, the emission mechanism for these flares is not well understood. Recent high-resolution general relativistic magnetohydrodynamics simulations show the occurrence of episodic magnetic reconnection events that can power flares nearby the black hole event horizon. In this work we analyze the radiative properties of the reconnecting current layer under the extreme plasma conditions applicable to the black hole in M87 from first principles. We show that abundant pair production is expected in the vicinity of the reconnection layer, to the extent that the produced secondary pair-plasma dominates the reconnection dynamics. Using analytic estimates backed by two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations we demonstrate that even in the presence of strong synchrotron cooling, reconnection can still produce a hard power-law distribution of pair plasma imprinted in the outgoing synchrotron (up to few tens of MeV) and the inverse-Compton signal (up to TeV). We produce synthetic radiation spectra from our simulations, which can be directly compared with the results of future multiwavelength observations of M87* flares. arXiv: http://arxiv.org/abs/http://arxiv.org/abs/2209.02105v1

There's so much we don't know, or take for granted, about the way life really works on this planet. There's the biosphere, which includes the soft electricity of the Terran Field. I coined the words “Terran Field” to describe the background organic electrical nature of the interplay between life on the planet's surface and its oceans, and the upper atmospheric structures that feed subtle electrical energies between the ionosphere and ground. Lightning for example - without it we wouldn't have life, or the components that create and sustain life. Over the past half century some members of the military-scientific community have discovered some of what Tesla understood, and weaponized it for their own purposes. As a result, much of what we witness or experience daily now is degrading our life experience, or the ability of the planet to sustain itself. Geoengineering, smartphones, smart meters, 5G, nano particulates, graphene oxide, mind control…nefarious activity that victimizes the unawares. We must become aware to change course…we need to understand to respond. Over the last 200 years, it's been slowly weakening and shifting its magnetic north pole (where a compass points, not to be confused with the geographic north pole) from the Canadian Arctic toward Siberia. You can learn a lot from studying the structure and dynamics of planetary magnetospheres, or at least some of us can. Michelle Thomsen, senior scientist at the Planetary Science Institute, is a long-time federal and recently won a major award from the National Academies of Science. She was one of three winners interviewed this week on Federal Drive with Tom Temin and she called from her station at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
