Listen to 102 Future Now Show We had a fun first hour of Dr. Future News, including an update on how we might actually build a warp drive for star travel, and the latest thinking of what would have happened on Earth should Chicxulub, the giant asteroid that extincted the dinosaurs, had never happened. Would we have evolved to dominate the planet as we have? Author/Investigator Brit EldersAnd this week we have an extended interview with Brit Elders, author, investigative documentarian, and CEO of www.ShirleyMacLaine.com. She has recently completed “Contact from the Pleiades, 45th Anniversary Edition,” in which the original two photo-journal volumes from 1979 are combined into one book with a new forward by Shirley MacLaine, a prologue written by journalist Jamie Maussan, and a new introduction and preface by Brit Elders. We cover the whole story arc of how she first got involved with the case with her husband Lee Elders and Col Wendell Stevens, to the evolution and popularization and proliferation of Pleidian contact experiences over the last half century. A very delightful, and heart-centered conversation, Brit takes us on a journey that opens us all to a better future. Enjoy!
Listen Now to 100 Future Now Show on Microdosing This week we start by catching up Bobby and his Costa Rican adventures, then some Future News. Most of the show, however, is dedicated to our inteview with Jordan Gruber, who just finished co-authoring the book, “Microdosing for Health, Healing & Enhanced Performance” with James Fadiman, Ph.D. We delve as deeply into the topic as you can get in an 80 minute interview. First we look at the beginnings of microdosing psychedelics and its evolution to current protocols. The potential benefits of microdosing psychedelics seem quite extensive, from studies in depression to enhancing our abilities to learn new skills, like musical instruments or languages. We explore a little of the ‘why’, such as increased neuroplasticity of the brain, and what substances work with microdosing (LSD, Schrooms) and which ones don’t (i.e. Ketamine, MDMA). Citizen science plays a big role in the unfolding of this topic, as serious research takes time and money, and neither are readily availabe, for various reasons (which we discuss). For fun we ran the book through a local AI and had it answer a couple of our questions. This book is partly the culmination of Dr. James Fadiman’s life work in the field of psychedelics, and includes many reports and correspondences that he has received over the 60 plus years he has dedicated to the topic. There is much to consider here, and we hope we have given you enough to pursue this further, should you have the interest. Thanks, and enjoy!

Listen to Future News #75 Now that US national politics is heating up, so are the cheap fakes being made of the candidates, making them heroic, silly, smart, stupid, you name it. And since are politics up, Bobby reveals to us his encounters with Kamila Harris, when she was Attorney General in Californa. Kamila Harris and Bobby Wilder Opiods have been a serious issue for some time and there is some relief in the form of alternative pain drugs soon to hit the market. And in a study of psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, researchers have disovered more detail and how they may work, with the help of MRI imaging of the subject’s brains as they are tripping. Enjoy! An MRI study finds that psilocybin can enhance neuroplasticity

Listen Now to Future News 12.20.2022 Quaking and shaking before the holidays? Only up North, but our early warning earthquake detector did wake us up at 2:30 a.m. to let us know to “Drop, Cover, and Hold on!!” Nothing happened, at least in our county. But it did get us thinking about quakes, early detection, and the Insight Lander, our seismometer on Mars, and the massive 4.7 quake it registered before the lander’s batteries died from the Martian dust covering its solar panels. What new and exciting this week is the rollout of ChatGPT, an AI powered search engine on steroids that just might set the direction for future internet searches and explorations. We and some listeners try some queries, both scientific and poetic, to see how this latest tool performs. We are impressed! One caller is worried that our explorations may speed up the arrival of the mysterious “Singularity.” We, however, are unafraid, as we believe that there is only one oneness. Enjoy!
Listen Now to Dr. Future Shows 12.13.2022 Fusion Power is the dream of generations, and finally for the first time ever, a team of scientists and engineers Gabrielle gets a makeover from Lensa AIat Lawrence Livermore National Ignition Facility have succeeded in generating more power than what they put into the equation. And now that Artemis is safely back on Earth with the Orion capsule splashing down in the Pacific Ocean, we wonder what happened to the 10 Cubesats launched near the moon. Also this week, we have a report from Gabrielle on the AI known as Lensa. With over 5 millions downloads in one week, this AI makes people look amazing, beautiful, archetypical, in the prime of life. And..is it a Uni or is it a Multiverse? Enjoy!
Listen Now to Future News 12.06.2022 What if KSCO, beyond being a radio station, also became an Ecostation? What does this mean? Dr. Future outlines this vision at the beginning of the show, prior to Space News and our Hawaiian volcano update, which includes an early experiment (1935) to control the flow of lava flows via the dropping of 600 lbs bombs! Our caller Jordan reminds us that Superman had the power to “change the course of mighty rivers,” but never demonstrated that super ability on the 1950’s TV show, and only did it once in the thousands of comic book episodes of the Man of Steel. But some good ideas on the re-direction of lava and uses as a seawall in Iceland did come through our callers this week, as did the possibiily of direct dial communication channels with Pele! Now, how does that work, exactly? Enjoy.. “Change the Mighty Lava Flows? I gotta check first with Pele.”
Listen Now to Future News 11.29.2022 Wow, the Big Island is alive with two active volcanoes right now, the first time in 38 years! Check our links for a live feed of this amazing event. And Artemis is now in orbit around the moon, and has launched the 10 cubesats it carried there. A couple of them aren’t working properly, but hey, 8 out of 10 ain’t bad! Also new minerals have been discovered on a meteorite, giving us tantalizing new info on the solar system’s formation. And if you’ve ever wanted to hear a black hole…tune in! Enjoy. Listen Now to Future News Thanksgiving Show 11.22.2022 Happy Thanksgiving dear listeners, we hope you and yours are enjoying the holiday. Still on our Keto regime, we will not be stuffing our faces as much as usual, but still…it should be good! We have in studio guests today Bruce McHenry and Gisselle Bisson, helping us dissect the latest in the Twitterverse, and online we speak with Connie Baxter Marlow and Andrew Cameron Bailey about the first Thanksgiving, a celebrated event that has been greatly misunderstood in these days of Woke culture.Connie and Andrew speak of how the original Pilgrims lived in peace and friendship with the Natives for over 50 years! An amazing story, discussed in their book, The Mayflower Revelations, they show how there was a synthesis with the Native Americans that gave birth to the American mind, spirit and democracy!. Enjoy! Dr.Mrs. Future with in studio guests Gisselle Bisson and Bruce McHenry
Listen Now to Future News 11.15.2022 A fun show today with special reports on private aviation, the Robot X-Prize, and mushrooms with coffee. In Space News we are excited to see that Artemis is finally launching, yeah! And lets thank the Dirty polluted White Dwarf Stars for giving us our solar system..Also, Greg Panos and Richard Cray report on their observations of the current Robotic X-Prize, pushing robots to new frontiers of performance, and Gabrielle Cianfrani shares with us her research and development of a new mushroom product that plays well with coffee in reducing stress and anxiety. And Marsha, oh Marsha..calling about mushroom from her treehouse in the redwood forest..how fun! Enjoy!!
Listen Now to Future News 11.08.2022 NASA has never been one to not have a few good missions unfolding, not the least of which is the Artemis space ship and it’s trip to the moon next week. And then there’s the Lunar Flashlight..On the moon, we must find…water!! And what better to find it with than a special ‘flashlight.’ And then we have the first sonification of our planet’s massive magnetic field; where we can listen to the beautiful aurora borealis, solar flares hitting the field, and other Gaian electro-magnetic phenomena. And since we are paying attention to the Earth, consider that COP 27 is happening this week, where the health of the planet is under scrutiny. For the future of power, the race is heating up towards electrification of energy or the use of hydrogen, the most plentiful element in the universe. Much progress is being had in both building better batteries and in the use of hydrogen. A promising trajectory is not just Greeen Hydrogen from solar electrolysis, but now Red Hydrogen, where high temperatures generated by the excess heat of nuclear reactors can cheaply create the gas from water. Listen Now to Future News 9.28.2022 We begam today’s show with a lively discussion of NASA DART mission, a successful attempt to re-direct an asteroid from it’s trajectory. We are visited in the KSCO studios by Billy Sunshine, a fellow talk show host, who could be George Carlin’s brother. He joins us in our DART discussions, along with the latest news from Venus, Mars, and the outer core of our planet itself, which seems to be experiening an anomoly. Oh yes, there is also a look at how to cool our plane’s poles, a geoengineering challenge if there ever was one! In the second hour, we explore the new world of backpacking cockroaches and how they could save our lives, the latest in battery tech, and a look at the role of the microbiome in our gut on it’s effect on our consciousness, with a call from Shane, in Australia. Enjoy!
Listen Now to Future News 9.20.2022 As we recorded our show today, the Megapack-powered Elkhorn Battery Energy Storage Facility burned. It lost only one of it’s 256 shipping container-sized Tesla Megapack batteries to the flames, but shut down traffic in the area for over 12 hours. This event was the seed for several stories and calls today, as we explored our energy future. Meanwhile the James Webb telescope put it’s infrared eye on the Red Planet, revealing new info on the weather, the Insight lander was able to record the strange sounds of a meteor striking the planet, rare space diamonds were discovered, and electric cars may be the end of or the saviors of the power grid. Enjoy! Tesla Megpack battery burns at Moss Landing Plant
Listen Now to Future News 9.13.2022 This is the week of new iPhones for the year, so naturally we have Taylor Barcroft in the studio, giving you the download on what’s best in the new lineup. We also share the latest in Space News, with the emergency Blue Origin almost disaster, NASA plans for a high tech Alien Clean Room, the Chinese/American race to the moon, possibly for resources like Helium 3, and new energy tech. Most fun, however, is the SeaBubble, a 12 person hydrofoil that runs on Hydrogen Electric, enjoy! The SeaBubble, a 12-person hydrofoil running on H electric
Listen Now to Future News 9.6.2022 Welcome to September, coming in rather hot, literally! And not just for us Earthfolks living in the Western US..No, no, no.. The Sun threw a coronal mass ejection at Venus just as our Solar Orbiter spacecraft was flying by, giving us some awesome data on CME’s! Fortunately the ship was designed to handle such an event! Lots of fun this week, including a nasty caller, join us! Solar Orbiter performing a Venus Flyby to get closer to the Sun
Listen Now to Future News - August 30, 2022 We got a few Dr. F stories in, but boy, the phone lines were lit up today! After our little discussion about our live show at the Stanford golf club restaurant with SID, the Society of Informational Displays, we got callers concerned about the upcoming extension of PG&E’s nuclear Diablo Canyon power plant, the last nuke plant in sunny California. Lots of pros and cons around that, regarding CA senate bill, SB 846. Not deterred, Dr. Future re-oriented the conversation towards space, and the DART mission, scheduled to knock an asteroid from its trajectory this coming September 26, Save the Earth! But callers wanted to talk about the drought stricken Lake Mead, Las Vegas drying up, and a Tesla equipped with a GM V-8 gas engine! Enjoy..
Listen Now to Future News and Views 8.23.2022 It’s getting close now, the launching of NASA’s biggest effort in years, the Artemis 1 mission, which, after a hiatus of 50 years, will take us humans back to the moon. Like the James Webb Space Telescope, it’s way over budget and timelessly late, it nevertheless will finally launch in a few days from Cape Canaveral, if all goes well. Much of the main mission will be discussed on mainstream media, but what caught our attention, are the secondary payloads of Artemis, the ten or so tiny Cubesat satellites that will be launched into space along the way to the moon, each with its own mission. The NEA Scout, for example, will unfurl its solar sail and head out in search of Near Earth Asteroids, and the Japanese Cubesat, OMOTENASHI, will attempt to land on the moon with the help on onboard thrusters and a giant airbag! The Italian Cubesat, ArgoMoon, will hover near the mothership and document the launch of it’s fellow Cubesats, before heading out into deep space to study the earth and the effects of deep radiation on it’s hardened technology. There is something for everyone on this mission, enjoy!
Listen Now to Future News and Solutions Is there such a thing as an addictive personality? Apparently, it’s not that simple, but more related to our individual reactions to the environment compounded by the mood in which we find ourselves. We review some of the latest work in this arena. Also, new rodent experiments with blood suggest there may be something to the vampire myths of old, in that senescence can be triggered in younger mice by transfusing them with elder blood. But is the reverse also true? We take a closer look..also updates on the Virgin Orbit, Europa, Exoplanet naming, fusion advances, the Tesla Android, jokes, and fixing the atmosphere! Enjoy! Virgin Orbit prepping for launch from Mothership
Listen Now to Future News Now 8.9.2022 This could be the summer of eVTOL (electric Vertical Takeoff Landing) aircraft, the long held vision for practical flying cars and cheap and easy air flight. We have our eye on several companies in that race, one of them being the “Switchblade,” in Oregon, a hybrid machine that both flies and drives on the ground. And to make it all the more greener to fly electric, the materials for the powerful batteries needed will soon be coming from Greenland rather than China or Africa, thanks to the discovery of a massive trove of critical minerals for hundreds of millions of electric vehicles. Ironically, Greenland is ground zero for many impacts of climate change, but it could also become ground zero for the materials needed to be a solution to the crisis.
Listen Now to Future News 8.02.2022 Lots to explore and chat about this week. We love the Carwheel Galaxy images from JWST, and that the moon has hundreds of temperate zones, where humans would feel comfortable with the temperature (63 degrees F), and that the visual drawing AI, DALL-E, has dramatically improved its ability to draw beautiful art from a simple description of a scene. And it looks like we have helped spawn a new ‘citizen scientist’ project with the advent of inexpensive ‘smart balls’ for canines, promising to dramatically increase their intelligence. A ways to go but we gotta start somwhere! Enjoy! JSWT captures the large pink, speckled galaxy
Listen Now to Future News and Space Artist Don Davis Future News this episode includes a discussion on space junk, a Virginal plan to print an entire neighborhood with 3D printers, a 17-year in advance blood test for Alzheimer’s, a 105-mile long skycraper plan in Saudi Arabia, and a caller with the water district discussing problems and potential solutions to our water shortage issues. Our guest, Don Davis, is a space artist known for his accurate portrayals of what is he painting, such as the surfaces and atmosphere of distant exo-planets. You can imagine his excitement at having thousands of new images of the cosmos to play with, thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope and its ability to see far beyond what has been seen before. Enjoy!
Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future Show 7.19.2022 In news this week we look at the competition to Mars Space-X is facing with new companies, Relativity and Impulse, joining the fray. Also, we discuss the new Chinese meatballs, created with stem cells, and the extremophiles found in the Canadian Artic that just might feel right at home on Mars. And if all else fails, there are ‘space bubbles’.. Hacker John Draper aka Cap’n CrunchIn the second hour, hacker legend John Draper (Captain Crunch), speaks about hackers hacking the Ukraine War, cutting off the Kremlin from the internet, the current danger of going Nuclear in the conflict, UAPs (UFOs), Skinwalker Ranch revelations, and a wireless revolution via the Helium Blockchain. Col Terry, ever watchful of existential threats, gives us his analysis and solution to Ukraine situation. Enjoy!
Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future Show 7.05.22 An eclectic summer show, and with Bobby testing positive with Omicron, some thought on treating his condition, with many suggestions from the audience and from himself. It appears Fauci also has a recurrence of Omicron now as well, and we look at his experience with Pfizer’s pill, Paxlovid. We also have some space news this week (launching Captstone to lunar orbit), light therapy news, sonically assited Out of the Body Experiences, brainwave patterms that show recognition in court, and an efficient form of synthetic photosynthesis that can work in the dark! Enjoy.. Plants are growing in complete darkness in an acetate medium that replaces biological photosynthesis.
Listen Now to Future News 6.28.2022 What a week it is, from epic space launches to the crazy artist AI, DALL-E, that will draw anything you request, on the spot. The photo you see here was generated from the description, “An astronaut riding a horse on the moon with earth in the sky in photorealistic style.” We enjoyed having Michael Olsen stop into the studio briefly to chat with us, after being George Noory’s guest the night before on Coast to Coast! We spoke about why would anyone eat Beyond Burgers, such as Dr. Future, who loves them. Shane checked in from Australia this week on how we might wake up from our collective amnesia, Mike on Earth as a vacation destination, and Marsha shared her multi-generational relationship with a local hawk family in the Redwoods. Enjoy!
Listen Now to Future News 6.21.2022 Another amazing friend has passed, a pioneer in tech and the arts, JJ Webb. We speak of him today and some of his accomplishments in space tech and online poetry. In space news, the ISS dodged some space junk, NASA’s giant rocket, known as SLS (Space Launch System), had a mostly successful wet test with fuel on the launchpad, and Space X has to address more environmental concerns as it makes its way to its next launch. And closer to home, Zuck himself outlines the features of three new experimental VR headsets, and we look at a new small whirlpool hydro-power generator, small enough to work on neighborhood rivers and canals, powering up to 60 homes! And one of our phone calls this week asked Dr. Future what his vision was for Santa Cruz in 5-10 years. Enjoy! NASA’s Space Launch System rocket rolled out for a wet dress rehearsal
Listen Now to Future News and Views 5.31.2022 How about that meteor storm that never was, eh? Less than impressive, but a great excuse to freeze outside for an hour, scanning the sky. We did see two simultaneous meteoric streaks of light at one point, which made StarlinkRV in actionit all worthwhile. This week we explore the mystery of why some supermassive black holes already existed in the first billion years of our universe (usually they form later), the mysterious giant blob of iron below Hawaii, how dinos may have begun as warm-blooded, and a new asteroid mining startup being funded. Also of interest is a new easy, cheap, and efficient way to extract water from even dry air, and our personal report on Starlink RV, a newmobile satellite-based internet service. Enjoy! The mysterious mass below the Hawaii Plume
Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future Show with Bobby B. Wilder 5.24.2022 Wow, this episode features the most number of callers we’ve ever had! Make sure you look up this coming Monday eve at 10 pm. PDT, as there may be the biggest meteor storm you’ve ever seen, with hundreds of streaks across the sky per minute! We are entering the debris field of a comet and it should be fabulous!! Meanwhile we explore the strange world of flying salamanders amongst the redwoods, invasive jumping worms from Asia, more and more miliitarized police departments, and California’s attempt to reel in this somewhat disturbing trend, audio mimicry by bats, and a new documentary,(A Tear in the Sky) of citizen scientists investigating the incredible flying ‘tic-tacs,’ and other documented alien encounters. Enjoy!
Listen Now to Future News & Interview 5.17.2022 Deshaey is our special guest today in the studio. A remarkable young man of 28, he has successfully navigated many traumatic events in his life, and credits both amazing therapy and the conscious use of Psilocybin mushrooms in resolving these issues. We think you’ll appreciate his story as told by himself. We also share with you some new sonifications from deep space, such as the supermassive black hole in the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Our fav new gadget this week are the new language translation glasses from Alphabet (Google). And finally the Feds are investigating UFO’s intelligently, or at least we hope so.. Enjoy.. R-L Desheay with Dr.Mrs. Future at KSCO Studios
