Suzy was also the first female President of the PGA of America and now serves as the President of the exciting new golf platform, Golf Nation. In our conversation, Suzy shares her insights on the recent Solheim Cup, a thrilling victory for Team USA. We discuss the possibility of creating a Presidents Cup-style event for women, giving international players a stage to showcase their talents. Suzy also reflects on Nelly Korda's phenomenal season, the sometimes negative focus of media, and the innovative work happening at Golf Nation. Missie Berteotti is one of Western Pennsylvania's greatest golfers. She helped the University of Miami win a national championship and secured her first LPGA Tour victory at the 1993 Ping/Welch's Championship, defeating Dottie Mochrie in an epic battle that went to the 5th playoff hole. Today, Missie is a leading instructor in the game. Missie and I talk about a recent charity event where she teed it up alongside Steelers legend John Banaszak, and she shares her experience of going head-to-head with Mochrie to capture her first Tour win. In our latest podcast, we travel to Dud Corner Cemetery and the Loos Memorial in Artois to discover the stories of some of the men who lie here. The podcast begins with an overview of the Battle of Loos, and we look at what went wrong with the offensive in September 1915. Like all cemeteries, every story and every name on a memorial is a tale to be told. We encounter a formidable boxer, known as the "Widowmaker", as well as two officers whose indiscipline landed them in front of the Courts, one for assault and the other for running over a police officer while joyriding on an unlicensed motorbike. No less than five VC winners are commemorated here, and we hear the stories of the deeds behind their medals. One of the finest poets of the Great War, Charles Sorley, is commemorated on the memorial. Found in his kit bag after his death was the least known of the great poems of WW1, and we hear the poem in full and consider why it is such a powerful piece of Great War literature. We hear the tragic story of the Mochrie family, who lost three sons in a single day and discovered how the showboating of a deaf rugby-playing Scottish officer sparked a near riot in the 1913 Scotland vs France game in Paris. When I heard who the ten comedians were for LOL: Last One Laughing Canada, my first thought was just give the trophy to Colin Mochrie now.Coming to Amazon Prime Video Feb. 18, the six-episode series follows similar LOL reality competitions featuring the best comics from Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Spain and other countries. It features previous brioux.tv podcast guest Jay Baruchel as host and two other past guests among the competitors – Andrew Pfung and K Trevor Wilson. The others are Caroline Rhea (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Debra DiGiovanni (Humour Resources), Dave Foley (The Kids in the Hall), Jon Lajoie (The League), Tom Green (The Tom Green Show), Mae Martin (Feel Good), and Brandon Ash Mohammed (This Hour Has 22 Minutes). That's a strong field, but Mochrie would still seem to have the edge. All those seasons keeping a straight face next to Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, Brad Sherwood and others on Whose Line is it Anyway should have him battle ready and steeled for success. Being married to a very funny lady, Deb McGrath, has also honed his skills working without a script. And, aye, being born in Scotland dona hurt either.Mochrie has also watched all of the other LOL's including the Australian one hosted by Rebel Wilson. We assess the competition, and both agree that Baruchel would be terrible at this game because he's an easy laugh. “He'd win if the game was who can swear the most,” says Mochrie.
The first episode of 2022! Kyle has played too much Shivre City, Kiyeberries had a great night, and Mochrie is fresh from a MOBA smackdown. Kyle and Mochrie hold down the fort! Kyle has had some rough games, but a Lucario spree is on the horizon. Mochrie wants some quests changed. The two also spend some time talking macro in an awesome rundown. Emails and more! Enjoy!
Kyle, Kiyeberries, and Mochrie have the details on the upcoming Pokémon to join the stadium—Decidueye (and it's looking really good). Tuning will tell, but be ready for the Friday release by joining us for the full kit rundown. Greedent and his festive pumpkins have been out for a week, and the gang delivers their verdict. Kyle, Kiyeberries, and Mochrie all share their quick play adventures—and they're berry different. We also now know that there are several differences between the individual Pokémon's score animations. This, your emails, and more!
On this berry special episode of Aeos Clubhouse, the gang has a look at the new Pokémon coming to the Stadium—Greedent. While he may not be the community's cup of tea, this defender packs a surprisingly complex and interwoven kit. Kyle got some time in with the normal mon and gives the rundown to Kiyeberries and Mochrie (who might be a bit skeptical). The crew gives a short summary of the balance before tackling the pumpkin-filled Halloween event. Festive gourds? Or pumpkin problems? You decide!

In-depth balance will have to wait for next week because this week is all about systems and the mobile release.
We stand on the precipice of mobile release! By next week's show, this game will be in the hands of some additional 5 million plus players, so naturally, news is a little slow leading up to the big moment. Mochrie has completed the battle pass and is enjoying some Blastoise play. Kyle tried his hands at the Crustle business that's all the rage. Kiye has spent this week being the game's target audience while traveling, calling in live from a hotel hot spot. As we approach this momentous moment, we thank everyone for downloading, reviewing, and supporting our show here.

Our first ever Aeos Clubhouse guest is the four-times Master climber and free agent Pokémon UNITE pro Shotty2Hotty. Kyle, Kiyberries, and Mochrie are eager to hear all the ranked tips, but there is a bigger story afoot: the degenerate Crustle madness that has seized the game. On the eve of Blastoise, we got all the goods for you, making this a complete Aeos Clubhouse experience.

Enjoy and see you in the stadium.
It's a packed show! Kyle, Kiyeberries, and Mochrie lead you through two BIG changes happening to Pokémon UNITE tomorrow. Blissey, the second healing support, is being added to the game. This kit looks like it's going to enable some serious hyper-carry action. In addition, the second balance patch has appeared, and thanks to some clever translating, we have some of the numberless details on the incoming shake up. Some items are also being changed around in hopes of bringing others in line with Eject Button. Get the scoop here and hit the stadium running.
An episode of discovery! Kyle, Kiyeberries, and Mochrie react to the previous patch, but this time with math on their side. The game's depth continues to be unveiled as the team discusses Score Message meanings, attack types, and the healing trick, yet the future is still uncertain. Mochrie and Sherwood both rose to prominence on the improv TV series as frequent players in its original incarnation on Britain's Channel 4 and then as star performers on the American version of the TV show from 1998-2006. Before making comedy history with Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Mochrie starred in a variety of commercials, TV shows and movies. He was the recipient of the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Improviser in 2000 and the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Performance on the Canadian version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? the following year. Sherwood has also appeared on various TV sitcoms, including VH1’s I Love the 70s, 80s and 90s and has headlined in Las Vegas with Drew Carey as a member of the comedy show, “Improv All-Stars.” Now, Get ready for a night of non-stop laughter for all ages. Our guest today is the fantastic Brad Sherwood. Most know him from the hit show, Whose Line is it Anyway! In the conversation we cover a lot from the art of improv, working on bits, being in the moment, lessons learned from an early life and much more. As a young hatchling, Brad Sherwood (Cranius gigantum), fled the ice plains of Chicago for the arid expanse of the Rocky Mountains, where he settled at the epicenter of art and coyote sculptures, Santa Fe New Mexico. Weaned on green chiles and isolation, he became a savant of self-amusement.Years later, he hopped a hobo train to the Pacific Ocean where he searched for people willing to employ someone with an abnormally large skull. Eventually, he was plucked from the Venice Beach Freak Show by a band of improvising gypsies who passed him from troupe to troupe, until he was sold into servitude to some British Choreographer/Pirates. They, in turn, sold him to a British improv TV show, where he was hired to teach Canadians how to be funny. Now, he is ward and caretaker of his least successful pupil, Colin Mochrie. Brad is given a stipend from the Canadian government to keep Colin from hurting himself or livestock. As part of Colin’s therapy, Brad tours with him in an improvised stage performance that helps creatively channel Mochrie’s delusions. And here is more about us! Have a question? The Mochrie family resided in Wales. The couple, Robert and Catherine had been happily married for 23 years and had welcomed 4 beautiful children into the world. They were successful, happy and polite. It would appear to everyone that all was well... however when the entire family would turn up dead, it would bring the community the shock of a lifetime. Now that COVID-19 vaccines are beginning to roll out around the world, the question of how do we confirm if someone has been inoculated has been raised. A proposed idea is that of an immunity passport but the catch is that if you're not vaccinated then you can't attend theatres, restaurants and possibly even work among other things. Could something like this actually happen and what path could it start leading us down? Guest: Michael Bryant, Executive Director and General Counsel, Canadian Civil Liberties Association and former Attorney General of Ontario - The International Olympic Committee has announced it's newest Olympic sport, breakdancing. Is this an example of the IOC being ridiculous or could this be just what the Olympic Games needs? Is comedy a vocation or a desperation? (NB THERE IS SOUND BREAK-UP 14’40”-16’20” BUT IT RECOVERS!) From a Nairobi cafe, critic Kate Copstick talks to blogger John Fleming in London about... Being homeless in Kenya, racist jokes, a new Malcolm Hardee Comedy Award judge and the hypnotist who creates comedy improvisers. Plus John says there are only two sexes, Copstick inspires a show which literally takes the piss, John turns down the stage role of God and Copstick recalls what a terribly shallow stand-up comic she was in the 1990s. http://www.grouchyclub.co.uk You can also download this audio podcast from iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/grouchy-clubs-mostly-about/id977279883 John Fleming posts occasional blogs at: http://blog.thejohnfleming.com
Graeme Duffy is not only one of the top improvisers in Vancouver, he's an actor and, it turns out, a fellow alumnus of Oak Bay high school. We bond over that and Duffy talks about kissing Colin Mochrie on the lips twice, being a bad waiter, Lev Kuleshov, and we see how he stacks up in the list of things improvisers should do besides improvising.
