God may be ready to fight your battle, but there are some things you must do to get in His Will to be the person that He will defend, protect or bless! The story of Jehoshaphat found in 2 Chronicles 20:1-26 is a good example of how hope, fear, doubt, seeking, belief, trust, unbelief, faith, walking by faith, receiving the victory are related. These are the steps, circumstances, or situations that we find ourselves in when a serious problem suddenly comes on us. Less serious problems may not include all of these relationships, but it seems like most do. I pray this message will help you in facing your present and future problems because you will know you have the ability to make the correct choices that will have to be made when you are faced with any problem, regardless how great it might seem. There is enough mercy and grace for any situation if we turn to Jesus with all our heart and ask for help, Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” ****Understanding the relationships between these words will give you confidence when you are seeking God about your problems or concerns. ****Jehoshaphat, a great story! When King Jehoshaphat heard he was surrounded by three armies, he didn't immediately know what to do and feared, then set himself and all Judah to seek the Lord. Obeying the Scripture promises, they fasted and prayed three days before the Temple, then God spoke through one of the priests and said, "Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehoshaphat, 'Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. Tomorrow go ye down against them:...Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.” Jehoshaphat accepted God's Word, Christ, and he and all Judah bowed their heads and thanked God for His answer. The next morning they marched out the gates of the city singing and praising God, and God performed the victory for them as they watched. It took them three days to gather all the spoils of the battle and then on the next day they gathered for a day of praise and worship. (Note in Psalms 22:3 that the Scripture states that God inhabits the praise of His people, so God went before them in their praises.) Summary of Brenda’s May 13, 2021, channeled Creation Energies show at BlogTalkRadio.com/brenda-hoffman: Those awakening are in their dark night of the soul. So your outer world seems filled with fear. You, in turn, have dropped your joy fizzy pill to the bottom of your glass, and the joy bubbles are starting to reach the top. Even though you’ll likely wish to avoid those in their dark night of their soul for a bit, your relationship will return once they’ve completed that phase. Those who remain in 3D will likely never again be a major part of your life. It's Their Dark Night of the Soul, Not Yours is the title of last week’s Brenda’s Blog – her weekly channeled blog for Life Tapestry Creations.com. The overview of Brenda's May 21, 2021 Creation Energies channel: As you move along your unique path, you're discovering not all are affected the same way by Eclipses, super moons, or any energies. Some of you are finding hidden dust bunnies creating sadness or fear. Others, especially those just awakening, will be in full fear. And still, others will feel as if they're playing a video game they can turn off whenever they wish.   Brenda’s Creation Energies show and Brenda’s Blog contain different channeled information.

Obeying the Scripture promises, they fasted and prayed three days before the Temple, then God spoke through one of the priests and said, "Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehoshaphat, 'Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (Note in Psalms 22:3 that the Scripture states that God inhabits the praise of His people, so God went before them in their praises.) God may be ready to fight your battle, but there are some things you must do to get in His Will to be the person that He will defend, protect or bless! If I see another meme on Instagram that tells me to think positively I am going to scream ;) Okay...well, maybe not. But you know what I mean. This episode is all about what judgement really is and how you'll never really get rid of it or “get over it.” This episode is packed with tools on how to receive the judgement (that doesn't mean you're a doormat) and know that it is NOT YOURS. Yup, that's right. It's not yours. Judgement just means that the person with the judgment would not choose what you are choosing. That's all. It has NOTHING to do with you. It just means that they would choose something different than what you are choosing. And when you judge others, it just means that you would not choose what they are choosing. That's it. AND...judgement is a call to action. It's just information for you. KEY EPISODE TAKEAWAYS:What receiving judgement looks like (it doesn't mean you're a doormat). Judgement is just information.Judgment is a call to action; You will never get rid of judgement. Greetings to the Bunker-nistas. Here's a little something from the vault to enjoy. I was just listening to this one myself the other day and was thinking of sharing it eventually so when I had the delay posting the Easter ep of HITB Podcast recently, I thought it would be a good time to share it. While there has never been an official time/date scheduled for new eps, it has become the thing that late Sunday night I fire up the Bunker Midwest Satellite Office's mainframe and post/write up that week's episode for everyone to wake up to on Monday. So here as compensation for that delay is this great early show from one of Dan's first few appearances up that Alaska Highway(I believe this was his 3rd show at Cyrano's in Anchorage). There are a few great lesser known tracks on this one(Stalking The Big White Whale, In God's Time, Not Yours, Weird Little Thing, Run Away) as well as just a great, high energy performance loaded with great chat from Dan(not to mention a nice intro from the MC talking about how great it is to watch Dan grow and develop and about him doing final mixes on his new album with Ani). Now for some technical notes...First, be careful with the volume when listening on headphones. This is a soundboard direct from Mike at Cyrano's and thus, the dynamics are kinda nuts. It goes from quiet to really loud just as Dan would in person. I tried to do some level adjusting but really don't want to mess with the dynamics too much. I did warm it up a bit with some eq'ing and the slightest addition of reverb. Other than that, it should be mentioned that this is only about 90 mins of what I believe to be a 2+ hour set. There is a chunk missing from the middle and there is a slight cut in Big White Whale as well as Talking Alien Abduction cutting off after about 2 mins. All that aside, This is a gem. I hope you all enjoy. And as always...Stay Hunkered Thanks to Mike and Rick at Cyrano's. I pray this message will help you in facing your present and future problems because you will know you have the ability to make the correct choices that will have to be made when you are faced with any problem, regardless how great it might seem. There is enough mercy and grace for any situation if we turn to Jesus with all our heart and ask for help, Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”****Understanding the relationships between these words will give you confidence when you are seeking God about your problems or concerns.****Jehoshaphat, a great story! When King Jehoshaphat heard he was surrounded by three armies, he didn't immediately know what to do and feared, then set himself and all Judah to seek the Lord. (Note in Psalms 22:3 that the Scripture states that God inhabits the praise of His people, so God went before them in their praises.) God may be ready to fight your battle, but there are some things you must do to get in His Will to be the person that He will defend, protect or bless! When King Jehoshaphat heard he was surrounded by three armies, he didn't immediately know what to do and feared, then set himself and all Judah to seek the Lord. “Embracing the entire process of discovering your purpose. It's a beautiful thing, and it's a thing of action, and fulfillment, start, feel, adjust, enjoy, embrace. Those are the words that I use to help with the construct of discovering pinpointing declaring a life purpose. So the Ultimate Life your ultimate life, a life of what purpose, prosperity, and joy created by serving others with your divine gifts.” - Kellan Fluckiger Listen to more episodes of Your Ultimate Life: your-ultimate-life-by-kellan-fluckiger.simplecast.com What you are about to learnFinding purpose - What is the purpose there's a massive movement, especially in the self-help people, and they use a word that I have come to dread. And that is the word clarity. Clarity is a stumbling block in the self-help business. Because people often don't take action because they feel like they don't have clarity. And so clarity becomes an excuse. And it becomes a stumbling block or a reason not to act in moving toward a life a fulfilling and meaningful life. How to find your purpose? Please make a list, think of your purpose to your self and, most importantly, to others, whether it is to your friend, family, neighbor, or whomever you think of.Who's purpose is it?  So what I mean by this is, if you think of a purpose. Ask your self if that is yours. If that is your purpose. Ask yourself “Think purpose that I am listing, is this my goal, my purpose?,” “This one that I am doing, is this my purpose?” You must figure out and must come with an answer to set your goal. Because listing, as my number one in this topic, will make no sense if all the purpose you took down is NOT YOURS. The main point is whether you copy that list from someone else’s, probably you think that it is an ideal goal for you too. But, MAKE SURE YOU WILL OWN IT, and you will stand for it because it is yours.Creation is done by action - So First, find your purpose. How? Please make a list, think of a purpose, and list it, enumerate. Second, ask. “Is this my purpose?” “Is this who I am?,” “Is this mine, and not someone else’s?,” or “Okay, this is someone else’s I copied it because it looks like it could be better for me too. But, am I able to accept it, stand for it, and own it?”. Finally, you have decided. You’ve already put all things together, and now what is the final step? You do it. Put everything into action and think again does this reinforce the sense that this is whom I want to be, is this the purpose of life that I have? If it doesn’t adjust it. There’s always room for improvement. Key Takeaways“I want you to do is to get a piece of paper, your journal, or get your phone out and write down five things that you want people to say about you. When they describe you,  this is like they would be describing you to someone else, not to you. And I want you to think about it carefully and put five things down that represent what you want people to say about you, which are consistent with whom you want to be. Like, this is what you want them to say.” “Clarity is overrated. It is not founded is created. Now, the creation comes by action. You're either going to be more clear or less clear about your direction. You're going to be able to either see more or see less. If it's worse than you know, it's not a good direction. If it's better than you know, you're moving in the right direction.”  Connect with Kellan on your favorite platforms:Facebook: www.facebook.com/kellan.fluckiger3YouTube: www.youtube.com/c/ultimatelifeformulaLinkedIn:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/kellanfluckigerTwitter:  https://twitter.com/kellanfluckiger

When it comes to relationships, goals, rest and anything valuable to you, I encourage you to focus on learning to protect your time. You have choices. And those choices often either include you being in control of how your time is used or you allowing others to dictate how your time is used. Because that is the truth - yes, there are always things that will happen outside of your control. That's life. But far too often, I think people allow other people and circumstances to use up their time when they'd rather be using it otherwise. That's the real topic of today - how to lead with decisions that feed how you ACTUALLY want to use your time. And this WILL inevitably cause you to get uncomfortable because it means saying no to people, turning down invitations, and having people question you. THAT can be a very hard reality for some people. You don't want to disappoint, or feel awkward, or have someone else feel awkward. But you are not responsible for the way your NO makes someone else FEEL. That's in their backpack, not yours. More on that later. So, just know that protecting your time sounds fancy, and liberating. But it's not easy, and you may offend loved ones and friends in the process. Just a heads up. Now, let's get into the three ways you can start protecting your time. And in protecting your time - creating more freedom, space, and clarity for you. To reach goals, create goals, or just do whatever the heck you want to with it! Number one… SET & EMBRACE BOUNDARIES As an entrepreneur and someone who has taken training very seriously over the years, learning to set boundaries around my time has been monumental for reaching goals and staying on course. And this is not something I am naturally good at. I don't know that anyone is naturally good at this to be honest. I can imagine for moms, protecting your time is HUGE. By default, part of your time is simply NOT YOURS. This is also why I tell single women to chase their freaking dreams with everything they have while there is no significant other or small humans to consider in that process. It's the optimal time to be selfish. So I encourage it heavily. That's not to say you can't chase dreams and goals in a relationship or while raising kids, but it would be naive and borderline ignorant to think it's the same as doing so without having other people to consider. As moms, you have the demands of other humans whose survival literally depends on you. So, protecting the small amount of time you get yourself can be a game changer. I also want to point out this doesn't have to be bath tub time or self pamper time. It's just saying you're going to spend X amount time doing Y and then setting boundaries to protect that relationship with yourself and your time. So whatever it is that YOU want to do with YOUR TIME - that's what I am referring to. So, how do we set boundaries around our time? First off, you can't have a boundary if you don't know what you're keeping in and out of bounds right? And side note - you'll find that all three of these “ways to protect your time” overlap and can be used together. For setting and embracing boundaries - you'll need to come up with the actual boundaries. If you work for yourself, this is stopping work at a certain time, or perhaps dedicating a certain amount of hours to work per week. For anyone - this could be sleeping with your phone in a different room. In relationships this could be how much time you give a certain person per week or per day depending on the relationship. How much time you give to a certain task within that relationship. Play with this. There is no boundary to boundaries. You have time, and you're simply deciding what is a yes and what is a no for that.

Charles Hanna is the Chairman, CEO, and founder of Brains II a third-party technology provider that he began in a basement in 1979 and built into Canada’s largest independent service consolidation company with offices in all of the major cities in the country. A devoted father of three children, Hanna is involved with a range of charities including organizations that help with cancer treatment, artists, and displaced or handicapped people. He has a particularly soft spot for children and animals and contributes his personal time in various ways to the YMCA and animal shelter groups. He divides his time between Toronto and Los Angeles Favorite Success Quote “Happiness is a way of thinking” Key Points 1. Your Life is Not Yours  A mistake that many of us make when we think about our lives is to believe that our lives are truly ours. We did nothing to earn this life, we did not take out a loan that we are forced to repay, we were simply given the gift of life and the responsibility to make the most of it. You have to realize that your life does not belong to you, it belongs to the world and to the people around you. It belongs to the people that you serve and the people you love. 2. You Must Take Care of Yourself Physically Before you can truly serve anyone else, you have to take care of yourself, and this begins with your body. Taking care of yourself physically is imperative, and rather straightforward. If you can get 8 hours of high-quality sleep a night, eat a diet of 80% whole foods, eliminate drugs, limit alcohol, get regular exercise, and swallow your pride when you are feeling sick and go see a doctor, then you are well on your way to the healthiest version of you ever. 3. Realize Your Insignificance in the Universe  Whenever people take something personally, they fail to understand one of the most important facts about life: You don’t matter that much. You are one of 7 billion, on one of God knows how many planets. You are a tiny speck in the universe. This is not to say that you are not important to the people around you, but rather to say that you truly hold little significance in this universe. Your flight was not late because the world is out to get you, that cute girl didn’t give you her number because the stars are aligning for you and you alone. Life simply happens and you get to take part in it. Realize this, realize your insignificance, and learn to live with a sense of humility and gratitude for where you are. 4. Taking Care of Your Body and Spirit Will Create Success in the Rest of Your Life  Whenever you decide to become successful and start pursuing success at the expense of your health and spiritual well being, you are setting yourself up for failure. You have to take care of yourself first before you can truly achieve success. If you are physically and spiritually healthy, your performance will sky rocket, your happiness will increase, and you will be able to accomplish more than you had ever dreamed. 5. Nothing is Good or Bad  All things in life are simply our perception of them. Nothing is inherently good or bad, it is just the story that we tell ourselves about things. With that knowledge, what would happen if you started to reframe everything in life as a blessing? To start to see the good in all things no matter how difficult they may be. I dare you to try it for a week and see what happens. You might just be amazed.

I tend towards non-fiction over fiction, but I have recently gotten into queer YA fiction and if I read adult fiction it is either historical fiction or crime/suspense. For reference, I have read and loved almost every Nelson DeMille and Dan Brown book. I am not a fan of more traditional literature (think Jane Eyre, Pride & Prejudice etc) and my eyes tend to glaze over if an author takes two pages to describe a chair. Otherwise, I am pretty open and trust your recommendation! All the best, -Renee   2. Hello! I’m moving from Texas to Washington state in late August and would love recommendations for audiobooks to listen to during those 35 (!!!) hours of driving! I’d love something set in the Pacific Northwest, or on a cross country road trip. Fantasy (especially with folkloric elements) tends to be my favorite, but I also like mystery, horror, sci-fi, romance and post-apocalyptic. I’m a sucker for beautiful or descriptive prose, competent and clever protagonists, and weird magical people (or creatures). Bonus points for queer characters! Here is a link to my goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/9756176-rachel Thank you! -Rachel   3. I would love to find reading recommendation on books that talk about nutrition for those not on a diet. I don’t need to diet but i would like to know more about what is best to be putting in my body. Do you have any recommendations on where to start? Thank you!! I have found so many great books to read through your podcast! -Whitney   4. YA Non Fiction Needed! Rioters! I am in a quandary… Summer is sliding in and so too is the opportunity for brain drain if I don’t stack up some books for our rising Sophomore who has found respite from studies in scrolling, Tik-Toking, picture editing and other time burglaring activities. She’s got walls of books, all read, some re-read and most of which are fiction. She likes realistic fiction, suspense thrill, social justice, psychological thrillers, a lil true crime, maybe some romance, and doesn’t prefer to linger in long prose. Books that have moved from her shelf to nightstand lately are: Mosquitoland, You by Caroline Kepnes, Dumplin, Neverworld Wake, Home by Toni Morrison, This Is Where It Ends, Eleanor and Park and others. She likes scary movies, is a great playlist maker (I follow all her Spotify lists—they’re awesome). Nothing rattles or grosses her out. She’s a wicked artist and her caricatures are requested on TikTok all the time. She plays tennis and loves to win . I am hoping you can throw all this in your mix master and pour out some great Non Fiction that can grab a Sophomore’s attention. For this I’m infinitely grateful. Thank you soooooo much!! -Wynne   5. Hi, I love the podcast and I’m hoping you can help me. I’m a teacher looking forward to my summer vacation in a few weeks and I would love plenty of book recommendations for over the summer. I don’t really know a good way of defining what I liked to read other than I typically like relatively recent literary fiction, though I like plenty of lighter fare, too. I think I tend to like authors that write very plainly, as I seem to have little patience for overly wrought phrasing and writing that, to me, sounds too pretentious. I’m currently reading Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney and I could barely put it down to write this e-mail. Some books and authors I’ve particularly enjoyed are Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, Sourdough and Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan, all of Jhumpa Lahiri’s books, and Less by Andrew Sean Greer. I also enjoy some mysteries, especially the Dublin Murder Squad Series by Tana French. The problem is I am kind of a picky reader and there are plenty of books that I thought I would like that I end up quitting on after a hundred pages or so. Authors and books that haven’t clicked with me recently are The Intuitionist by Colson Whitehead, What’s Not Yours is Not Yours by Helen Oyeyemi, Purity by Jonathan Franzen, The Wangs Versus the World by Jade Chang, and The Wife by Meg Wolitzer .I also tend to not love long books (anything over 450 pages). 350 pages seems to be the perfect amount for my attention span. What are your thoughts, based on what I’ve described about Ottessa Moshfegh’s books? I’ve read a few pages of both Eileen and My Year of Rest and Relaxation at bookstores and I was interested but I also wondered if I might end up hating them 5 chapters in. Maybe you can help me with my pickiness! Thank you for any recommendations. Best, -Kellie   6. Hello ladies! I’m working my way through the Read Harder Challenge and trying to find romance novels for as many of the prompts as possible – which has been really fun! Currently, I am looking for an #ownvoices romance novel from Mexico/Central America. This title might sound inflammatory, but it's true if we are committed to service  To deprive the world of our gifts is the most selfish thing any of us can do, especially when we do so to fulfill our own cravings. We all have our unique gifts and can influence the world in our own way. Nobody else has what you do. What would happen if you woke up and treated every encounter, every exchange, and every moment as though this were true?   Show Notes: Did something come up or trigger you when you heard me say, “Your Life is Not Yours”? Parable of the 5 foot long spoons What if you REALLY made your whole life about service? Our animal brain prioritizes our survival before anyone else's…even our children. Everything beyond the essentials is nothing more than things we've been led to desire and taught to covet Needless to say, it's important for us to be able to provide our own essential needs…after that, it's game on! The game of service and fulfillment is a 2-part formula: Impact and Income So many of us - MYSELF INCLUDED - put too much emphasis on the “INCOME” part Here's the reality bite = nobody can do what YOU do better than you Nobody on this planet can influence the way you can. To deprive the people, the planet of your gifts is the most selfish thing any of us can do, especially when we do so to fulfill our own cravings Reflection Questions: Your Life is Not YOURS…what would happen if you woke up and treated every encounter, every exchange, and every moment as though this were true? Would things become more simple for you? More complicated? What will matter more to you in the last chapter of your life: Income or impact? What if you used this ONE life you have to make the GREATEST impact you could? What would that look like? What if we all lived like this?   ~Links~   Join the RMP Fire Circle, complete with monthly calls and a private community for those ready to dive deep Instagram @therisingmanpodcast Instagram @jeddyazuma

Olivier von Argent crossed her arms and frowned, looking down at the thing that had once been her, sprawled among broken jars and scattered sundries."Oh, this won't do at all," she said. "There's still so much left to do.""THERE IS ALWAYS MORE TO DO," said a voice from the shadows beside her. "SOMEONE ELSE WILL DO IT NOW."Olivier turned to the figure beside her and sighed. Already the tension of the day was leaving her, a spring uncoiling after a lifetime of tautness. But still:"What if they do it wrong, without me there to guide them?""THAT WILL BE THEIR CONCERN, NOT YOURS. YOU HAVE WORKED HARD. YOU HAVE EARNED REST."Olivier worried at her lip, glancing down at her body even as she drifted towards the figure."There will still be parties where we're going, won't there? I'm a very good event planner, you know. I would hate for my talents to... Depreciate."The figure tilted its head at her. Beneath the voluminous shadows of its hood, Olivier thought she saw the barest glimpse of a smile; but then, of course, she supposed skulls were always smiling. The figure held out its hand, and Olivier took it."MY LADY ADORES A GOOD PARTY."This week on Roll Dice and Cry: Do I want to involve anybody else?Cast:Zachary Fredrickson (@obfuscatinggod)Mari Costa (@marinscos)Emily Riesbeck (@thebluevalkyrie)Chander (@chanderclear)Amy Sloan (@effsie) See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Leftists use whistles, stadium horns and vuvuzelas to drown out right-wing speakers at the 23rd annual memorial of Rabin’s assassination. He’s also a popular and oft-requested guest on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, CNN International, BBC World News, France 24, KTLA, KTTV (Good Day L.A.), as well as a regular substitute host on KABC radio in Los Angeles.Savvy, witty and curious, Ethan unearths truths and upends the status quo with his razor-sharp intellect and penetrating style. With a profound ability for taking the most complex topics and making them clear and fascinating, listeners clamor to hear his take on politics, science, technology, and current events.Beyond radio, Ethan is a highly-respected author, and in 2015 released his critically acclaimed book, Liars & Whores: How Big Government and Big Business are Working to Save Their Own Assets, Not Yours. In the wake of an historically unprecedented election cycle, the book has been deemed a must-read for anyone interested in the fundamentals of the intersection of big business, government, and politics.Listed as one of Talkers magazine’s “Heavy Hundred” for three consecutive years from 2014 to 2016, it’s little wonder that Ethan Bearman’s popularity is skyrocketing, as are the demands for his time and talents.
