This week Kelly and Lindsey talk into their computers with DcHe. aka Daneé and talk about the good old days waiting tables. Just kidding! Those days were horrible and we thank god every day that we aren't working in a restaurant anymore. We don't know if that's what they actually won but they won something big and we are super proud of her.  Maybe she'll release the documents to prove it and maybe she won't.   In Recess we learn that DcHe. quit everything as a child and finally learned how to kick a ball as an adult in an adult kickball league.  We also learn a bit more about breastfeeding and Lindsey's moms tatas than we bargained for.   Lindsey is then forced by Kelly to be the Math teacher and she decides she's never teaching math again because it's horrible and nothing makes sense. You're welcome everyone.    Because Daneé wanted to be a model when she grew up, Kelly takes us to modeling class where we strut our stuff and compete to be America's Next Top Model. Eyes Your eyes are more complex than any camera on the planet! Cornea:  a concave lens on the front of your eye that focuses light Iris:  the colored part, a diaphragm that controls how much light comes in (the pupil is the hole the light enters = equivalent to the aperture of a camera) Lens:  the "focuser", uses a process called accommodation to focus near to far and make the image as sharp and clear as possible Retina:  the sensor, and sends signals to the brain to translate light into an images The retina has 2 types of sensors: Rods - detect light intensity Cones - color differentiation Two special areas of the retina: Macula - right in the middle of the retina, they place that detects the most detail (that's why the center of your vision field is a clearer picture than the periphery) Fovea - the center of the macula, it contains cones (color sensors) only to aid in the translation of very fine details Support structures Extra-ocular muscles - allows your eyes to move around in their holes There are chambers of fluid that are between each structure of the eye, and that fluid helps hold nutrients that feed those parts, and remove waste Choroid:  the layer that holds all the blood vessels that feed the eyes Sclera:  the whites of your eyes, an outer coating that hold everything inside Conjuntiva:  the mucus membrane that attaches the sclera to the eyelids; produces liquid for lubrication and trapping invaders PSA Please don't vigorously rub or scratch your eyes, you could hurt them! Thus far we're at just over 30%, with a final goal of $4,000 at the end of the year.   It was mentioned on last week's show, but we just want to make sure that folks know - The ExtraLife charity IS being supported fully by the Frogpants community at large this year!  The charity event is a game-playing marathon where people get sponsored to play video games for up to 25 hours straight. It's the gamer's version of running a 5k, but without all the sweat, knee pain, and subjecting yourself to that great ball of fire in the sky. The charity will benefit the Primary Children's Medical Center. in Salt Lake City, Utah and is a great cause. If you want to join the team as a participant, or donate to the cause, look for the Frogpants Team for Extra Life Marathon post in the Community section of the forums.   A friendly PSA: Please use an authenticator if a game has one available! There have been waves of accounts getting banned for new and old games alike! Please don't get caught in the crossfire and get some peace of mind. Many games have a phone app (for some platforms)  which is free, and some others have a cheap 5-8 dollar key fob. Money VERY well spent!   Today's show is about World of Warcraft, and it will probably be mentioned, but the Fall Craft Fair is already starting to spool up. There will be a meeting this Friday (the 13th, wooooo!) at 9pm server time (so EST) on getting the ball rolling. With the new "Seige of Orgrimmar" raid content, we encourage any and all raid teams to send in their team's progression on either normal or flex by next Tuesday, September 17, and every Tuesday after that,  for inclusion into the Raid Wrapup segment at the end of the AIE Podcast. The Raid Wrapup isn't limited to just World of Warcraft.
