Today's soul story is called The Impossible Dream. It's a little snippet of my story and my experience when I ran my clothing and bag line, Bahian Gypsy Bags and Accessories. It's a prophetic call to rise, to walk by faith, and to embrace the welcoming timing of your becoming. Remember: You are loved. You are chosen. You are enough. The bible says there is a time for everything in Ecclesiastes 3:1. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: I want you to remember the sun always sets in the west and no matter what you have been trying God's in it. Gods got it and if it's in alignment with the Father's will, then He will flourish it. So, stop running east when you can run to Him to help you finish it. The Impossible Dream is a Soul Story based on Faith, Sisterhood, and Divine Possibility A soul-stirring reflection on rising by faith, embracing divine timing, and saluting the women within.In a nutshell it's saying be resilient, keep going, press in, don't give up, change something if it's doesn't work and try another but submit your plans to God and do not quit.As I said before something is brewing. Carmen Rendell recorded a short back story ahead of her conversation with painter Sue Rapley, as their connection through Soulhub goes back to our Soulhub Journal No 3, and the web of unfolding felt worthy of good air time. It shows the magic of Soulhub and the beauty of serendipitous moments in not just Carmen and Sue's life but all those touched by her artwork, the journal and Soulhub. And these are just the ones we know about. Our entwining story, leads us up to the present day, as we create our Soulful Meadows Painting Retreat this May (17-18 May 2025). What's missing in the story is Sue's raison d'etre. What led her to paint? What does she experience as she goes through her process, and for someone who spend decades estranged from her passion, how did she find her way back to it. It's a surprise story that took her back to art college, more than 30 years ago, and a squiggly path of many industries before she re-found the paintbrush. A supportive husband Dave, and a mentor who arrives just as the student was ready, meant that Sue's love of the sea and desire to sit with her thoughts and creativity, finally found the space and canvas to be explored. It's finding how you can create something that has real meaning and that's actually really coming from your heart and from your soul, really. It's a rumor she doesn't deny. The song is just the latest of Rainey's boundary-pushing moves. Her audience, and her record label, eat it up.
