Making Belief Practical—From Hiring to Customer Experience Introduction: In Part 2, we get into the how. Matt walks through what belief looks like in action—from hiring people who align with your culture, to defining values in ways people can actually use, to building customer experiences that transform relationships. This is packed with real stories from Apple, Nordstrom, and other brands that got it right, plus Matt's CADET framework that changes how you think about every interaction. Summary: We tackle the practical side of building belief-driven cultures. Matt shares how to hire for cultural fit and belief (not just skills), and walks through his experience scaling Apple retail from 10,000 to 25,000 employees without losing their DNA. We dig into why values are meaningless without tangible definitions, the power of storytelling in creating shared understanding, and the CADET framework for customer experience. Matt also explains why incentives must align with desired behaviors, using real examples of what happens when they don't. Key Highlights: Apple hired for people who loved the brand and wanted to serve, not for product expertise—then trained them Values need tangible definitions: what does "kindness" look like, sound like, feel like in your specific organization? The CADET framework: Connect, Assess, Deliver, Exceed, Transform—and why you can't skip steps Incentives and behaviors must align, or your culture breaks down (the e-commerce returns example) Key Takeaways: Hire for belief, train for skill. Look for alignment with your mission and values first, then build competence. Define your values in observable terms. Don't just say "kindness"—describe what it looks like in action and what it doesn't look like. Use storytelling to build culture. Get your team to share transformational experiences, then identify the common threads. Deliver flawlessly before trying to exceed. Master the basics (stated needs) before attempting to wow people with extras. Remove barriers to desired behaviors. If you want certain actions, make sure your incentive structure supports them, not fights them. Next Steps for Listeners: Pick one of your company values. Can you describe it in specific, observable terms? If not, gather your team and define it together using stories. Review your last few hires. Did you prioritize skills or cultural alignment? What would change if belief came first? Walk through a customer or employee experience using CADET. Where are you trying to "exceed" before you've "delivered"? Connect with Matt on LinkedIn.

Small business confidence has declined as inflation concerns rise, with 71% of owners expressing worries about ongoing price increases, according to the latest CNBC SurveyMonkey Small Business Index. This marks an increase from 66% in the previous quarter, indicating a cautious approach to spending among small business owners. The report highlights that 24% of these owners view rising prices as the greatest risk to their operations, prompting a need for strategic adjustments in pricing and customer engagement to mitigate inflationary pressures. In parallel, Gartner projects that global IT spending will exceed $6 trillion by 2026, driven primarily by investments in data center systems and software, particularly in response to the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) services. Despite the anticipated growth rate of 9.8% year-over-year, challenges remain, including constraints on computing resources and governance tasks. Gartner's analysis suggests that while organizations are currently experiencing disillusionment with generative AI, its integration into existing enterprise software is becoming more prevalent, shifting the focus from speculative investments to cost-cutting and efficiency improvements. The Kanata Report reveals that nearly half of the surveyed office technology dealers offer managed IT services, yet these services account for only 7.6% of overall dealer revenue. Among those engaged in managed IT, 73% reported an average revenue increase of 28.8%. This indicates that while there is potential for growth in managed IT services, many dealers are not fully capitalizing on this opportunity. Additionally, concerns about a potential AI bubble are discussed, with analysts suggesting that managed service providers (MSPs) may not be significantly affected, as major AI innovations are primarily driven by large corporations. For MSPs and IT service leaders, the current landscape emphasizes the importance of specialization and collaboration in a competitive market. With 75% of partners identifying these as top priorities, it is crucial for providers to differentiate themselves and focus on specific verticals. The findings suggest that while optimism remains high, particularly in regions like Latin America, actual revenue growth is slowing. MSPs should benchmark their performance, leverage distributor partnerships, and prioritize delivering measurable outcomes to navigate the evolving market effectively.Four things to know today00:00 Small Businesses Tighten Budgets While Enterprises Drive AI-Fueled IT Growth04:19 Cannata Report Shows IT Maturity Gap as Channel Weighs AI Bubble Risks07:28 Intel Returns to Profit With Government Boost, but Foundry Struggles Continue09:52 TD SYNNEX Report Shows Partner Growth Slowing but Confidence Holding Strong This is the Business of Tech. What if your brand wasn't just about marketing, but about rethinking every single touchpoint your customer experiences? That's the approach Michael Jacobson took when he bought his uncle's struggling flower shop. Today, French Florist has grown from the brink of closure to Los Angeles' largest flower shop, generating over $9 million in revenue and expanding nationally through franchising. Under Michael's leadership, the brand is reshaping what it means to buy flowers, making everyday moments feel like luxury experiences. Make Operations Part of Your Brand Your brand promise is only as strong as the systems behind it. Michael shares how upgrading outdated tools and building a custom operating system didn't just cut costs. It made every step of the customer journey smoother and more consistent. The takeaway? If you want to deliver a premium experience, start by fixing the pain points your customers feel most, even if the solution is behind the scenes. Let Values Guide Every Decision It's easy to write core values and never put them into practice. French Florist takes the opposite approach, using the acronym LOVE (Love what you do, Own your impact, Value connection, Exceed expectations) as a daily filter for hiring, franchising, and customer touchpoints. The result is a thriving brand that feels consistent and authentic at every level. Ask yourself: do your customers feel your values in action, or only see them on your website? Enjoy this episode with Michael Jacobson… Soundbytes 22:26 - 22:40 “I don't know how many people actually live and breathe by [their company values]. Our company really does. We integrate it very deeply into the blood and DNA of our culture. Every decision we make follows that framework. We ask ourselves, if we're making big decisions, do they hit the core values.” 33:24 - 33:39 “If you can take the average person, on the average day, who has the average work ethic, with the average intellect, and build a system that can produce above average results, then that's a franchisable business.” Quotes “Business is tough. Nobody said it was going to be easy.” “We want to actually contribute real value to the world as an entrepreneur.” “If we can make this world 1% better, that's a worthy mission.” Links mentioned in this episode: From Our Guest Website: https://www.frenchflorist.com/ Connect with Michael Jacobson on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelrichardjacobson/ Connect with brandiD Find out how top leaders are increasing their authority, impact, and income online. Ghislaine Maxwell's legal team opposed Virginia Roberts Giuffre's request to exceed the ten-deposition limit, arguing that the motion was overreaching and unnecessary. Maxwell's attorneys maintained that the rules of civil procedure set the limit for good reason, and that Giuffre's attempt to expand the scope was a tactic designed to harass Maxwell and drag out the proceedings. They contended that the case, at its core, was a straightforward defamation dispute—not a sprawling criminal investigation—and therefore did not warrant an exception to the established limits.Maxwell's response emphasized efficiency and proportionality, claiming that Giuffre already had ample opportunity to gather evidence within the allowed parameters. Her lawyers argued that permitting more depositions would unfairly burden Maxwell, increase costs, and create an undue spectacle around the case. They framed Giuffre's request as an attempt to broaden discovery into areas irrelevant to the specific defamation claim, painting it as a fishing expedition aimed more at media headlines than legal necessity.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Jeffrey Epstein list: See all 40 unsealed documents | Fox NewsBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein's most well-known accusers, filed a motion in her defamation lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell requesting permission to exceed the standard limit of ten depositions allowed under federal rules. Giuffre's attorneys argued that the extraordinary scope and complexity of the case, involving a vast network of high-profile individuals and years of alleged abuse, required additional testimony. They emphasized that to properly build the case, it was necessary to question not just Maxwell but also a broader circle of associates, employees, and others who may have knowledge of Maxwell's role in recruiting, grooming, and silencing victims.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Jeffrey Epstein list: See all 40 unsealed documents | Fox NewsBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

It's Tuesday, July 1, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus Chinese Communists give pastors 3 years in jail for leading church Three pastors from Linfen Covenant Home Church in Shanxi, China have been sentenced to 2-4 years of prison time for various charges related to their leading an unregistered church in the communist country. The church issued a statement, announcing that “We honor the service of Li Jie, Han Xiaodong, and Wang Qiang who suffered for righteousness, and we are willing to bear the cross with the Lord. We receive this verdict with a grateful and obedient heart.” Jesus offers this encouragement in Revelation 2:10 -- “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Brazilian homeschool mother facing $20,000 of fines Today, a Brazilian court will hear a case of a mom prosecuted for homeschooling her son. Regiane Cichelero is facing fines of $20,000 and threats of losing custody of her child, for choosing home education on religious grounds. Alliance Defending Freedom International has taken up the case. Her legal counsel, Julio Pohl, pointed out that “No parent should fear state punishment for choosing to homeschool their child. Regiane made a lawful and conscientious decision to teach her son at home. We are hopeful that the court will affirm her rights and take an important step toward protecting parental rights in Brazil.” Regiane continues to homeschool despite the risks involved. Pray for this case, which may serve as a precedent for the other 70,000 homeschooled children in Brazil. Victory of Christian Colorado camp over transgender agenda Also, Alliance Defending Freedom has announced a favorable settlement for the Idrahaje Christian Camp in Bailey, Colorado. The camp was under threat of losing its license for refusing to submit to state requirements regarding the transgendering of bathrooms and living quarters. The name of the camp is taken from the phrase “I'd rather have Jesus more than anything!” They use the first two letters of the first four words. The State of Colorado agreed not to take any enforcement action against Camp IdRaHaJe for violation of the gender identity requirements. The state has also clarified in a memo on its website that “churches, synagogues, mosques, or any other place that is principally used for religious purposes” are exempt from the transgendering requirements. Syria's own government helped massacre 1,500 Alawites Reuters has reported on its investigation of the Syrian massacre of 1,500 Alawites in March of this year. The perpetrators included units belonging to the new government based in Damascus. Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa of the Free Syrian Army and Al-Qaeda took over Syria in January of this year. The new government has also instituted a constitution stating that “The religion of the President of the Republic is Islam. … Islamic jurisprudence is the principal source of legislation.” This constitutes a step up in Islamic rule over Syria. According to Open Doors, Syria is the 18th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Iraq allows Muslim men to “marry” 9-year-old girls The new Iraqi government is also following Islamic Sharia law closely. Earlier this year, Iraq's parliament voted to give Islamic courts more control in family law, and permit child marriages for girls as young as nine years of age. Supreme Court allows parents to opt kids out & requires porn sites to verify age Here in America, the U.S. Supreme Court is allowing parents opt-out rights for their elementary-aged children from having to participate in homosexual-themed lessons. That comes by a vote of 6 to 3. Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito emphasized that “What the parents seek here is not the right to micromanage the public school curriculum, but rather to have their children opt out of a particular educational requirement that burdens their well-established right ‘to direct ‘the religious upbringing' of their children'” under the free exercise clause of the First Amendment. Another 6-3 ruling, the High Court has also upheld a Texas Law requiring pornographic websites to verify users are over 18 years of age. Only adults will be allowed into these sinful activities. Writing for the majority, Justice Clarence Thomas concluded, ”The power to require age verification is within a State's authority to prevent children from accessing sexually explicit content.” But, in Matthew 5:27-28, Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” U.S. government buying its own bonds The U.S. government is buying back its own bonds. Barchart reports the largest buyback in history occurred earlier this month. Under the direction of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, the department bought $10 billion of its own bonds. Federal Reserve on the ropes The Federal Reserve issued $150 billion of bonds in May, but only managed to sell half of them. Also, the Fed has recorded its first two-year-in-a-row financial loss, totaling $192 billion in 2023 and 2024. This is the first time this has occurred in the Fed's 110-year history. Year to date, the federal deficit stands at $1.37 billion as of the end of May. That's 14% higher than last year at this time. Dad jumps into ocean off Disney Cruise ship to save daughter Here's a story demonstrating a remarkable act of courage and love on the part of a dad. A young child fell off the fourth deck of a Disney cruiseliner on Sunday. Her father took immediate action, dove in after her. . . and held her while treading water, until a rescue boat pulled them out of the ocean waters. An eyewitness explained what happened to WPLG News. EYEWITNESS: “They were playing shuffleboard that was on the fourth floor. The parents were playing, and then the little girl was climbing up on the railing and flew off.” One passenger said, “The ship was moving quickly, so quickly, it's crazy how quickly the people became tiny dots in the sea, and then you lost sight of them.” Another passenger said, “I saw the mother crying and but when they rescued them, I think that's when the tears really started flowing. I prayed to God to save them, and He did!” The Disney Dream was heading back from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale when the incident occurred. Worldview teens share their hearts 15-year-old Titus Beran in Omaha, Nebraska wrote me at Adam@TheWorldview.com. He said, “I love the verses included in the newscast! They really help me focus back on God's Word and bring every area of life, even politics and news, into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” And 16-year-old Leah Smith in Franklin, Kentucky wrote, “I have been subscribed to The Worldview in 5 Minutes for a little over a year. I don't watch the news on a regular basis, but have been continually blessed by the ministry of this website. It is so irregular to have such a concise, non-secular newscast that makes me aware of political news, needs of persecuted Christians, and even basic information that keeps me up to date on what is going on. “When I read your newscast transcript, I am not only encouraged by stories of fellow believers, but I am also moved to pray for the issues in our world. God is truly using your Christian newscast to reach people with the truth. It has been a blessing in my life!” What Troy's three boys enjoy about The Worldview Troy in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas talked to his three sons -- Sovereign, age 12, Shalom, age 10, and Apollos, age 7 -- about The Worldview. It is so exciting to hear about donors from all over the world who are united to us in Christ. What an encouraging example to our younger generation.
