To any outsider, D. Neil Elliott was highly educated, owned a profitable consulting firm, and had a successful career and an amazing wife and family. But things were not all they seemed to be … Neil was facing a lot of challenges. In a phrase, he was in a dark place. Quite by accident, he discovered a Higher Road. As he traveled that road, he found the key to transforming his life. Over the course of the following year, Neil lifted himself to an inner state of love, peace, joy, and abundance. His perspectives on life changed entirely. His troubles and tribulations were his impetus to find the key that enabled him to revolutionize his life. He learned that the search for a better life does not entail positive thinking, saying affirmations, chanting mantras, or traveling to India to sit at the feet of a guru—or any other popularized method of “finding yourself.” …The key? To ascend in both spiritual perception and truth, you need to use the right process to break through your entrenched, human-ego barriers. For nearly three decades, Neil read hundreds of self-help and spiritual books and took self-development courses. All of them offered hope for change and improvement, but nothing fulfilled his needs or genuinely delivered on its promises. Neil's desire—and his new mission in life—is to share the knowledge he gained and the process he used on his journey to self-awareness, together with the blueprint document he discovered that was instrumental in transforming his life. He wants to give you, regardless of your station in life, the tools and opportunity to empower yourself, transform your life, and draw peace, joy, love, and prosperity into your personal situation and environment. Neil believes that as more and more people follow this Higher Road to true spiritual perfection, a New Era of Love and Peace will dawn for everyone throughout the world.SIGN UP FOR  Limited SPOTS In Mindfully Integrative CommunityEnjoy some of Our FREE Resources HereJoin Our Mindfully Integrative Private Facebook CommunityGet 15% off Pharmaceutical Grade Full Script   Vitamins & SupplementsMY  Favorite  All in One Solution For Creators  Health business, and course Kajabi  TMAC Fitness. 20 Minute Home Workouts Beginner and Advanced Workouts. The United States of America is one of the greatest countries in the world, yet we have a maternal mortality rate of almost double other first-world nations. Where is the disconnect? Why isn't there a focus on maternal health both pre- and post-partum? One woman used her own experience as a catalyst for change. When Lydia Simmons was unable to obtain the level of healthcare support she needed postpartum, she knew that everything starts with food and nutrition. So, she started MOO, Moms Official Objective, to address the devastating effects of nutritional deficiency on mothers in America. During today's conversation, Lydia shares what her own postpartum journey was like, and we discuss why the six-week postpartum appointment offered by doctors is simply not enough. You'll hear her thoughts on what it would take for the government to better support women, and we unpack what ‘maternal morbidity' really means. Learn why it is so important to have a postpartum plan and who you should communicate it to, as well as which nutrients are most important for a postpartum period and why. We are sponges in the morning. And we seem to be at our lowest point of stress right when we wake up (our problems haven't manifested yet!)... So why not stack a few good habits and get a BOOST to the rest of your day? This week's conversation with #truthseekers guest Todd McCullough was that, and so much more. "There has to be a deeper why, and a deeper meaning to what we do," says Todd, a former D1 football player at the University of Florida. What this has turned out to be is "giving people a daily connection to working out, and to God each day". Of course we're referring to Todd's TMAC 20: 20 minute workouts. No equipment. No excuses. Where each workout ends with a brief meditation, AKA the MIND RIGHT MEDITATION. We discuss frequently on #truthseekers the importance of integrating the body with the mind throughout our lives. Perhaps no one embodies this more than Todd McCullough, who has helped more than 20,000 people get in shape and get their mind right from home. Fair Play, written by Eve Rodsky has been a game-changer in Ashley and Kimberly's homes. So much so that Kimberly became a Certified Fair Play Facilitator. What is this all about? As Eve explains, "It Started With The "Sh*t I Do" ListTired of being the “she-fault” parent responsible for all aspects of her busy household, Eve Rodsky counted up all the unpaid, invisible work she was doing for her family—and then sent that list to her husband, asking for things to change. His response was . . . underwhelming. Rodsky realized that simply identifying the issue of unequal labor on the home front wasn't enough: She needed a solution to this universal problem. Her sanity, identity, career, and marriage depended on it.The result is Fair Play: a time-and anxiety-saving system that offers couples a completely new way to divvy up domestic responsibilities. Rodsky interviewed more than five hundred men and women from all walks of life to figure out what the invisible work in a family actually entails and how to get it all done efficiently. With four easy-to-follow rules, 100 household tasks, and a figurative card game you play with your partner, Fair Play helps you prioritize what's important to your family and who should take the lead on every chore from laundry to homework to dinner.“Winning” this game means rebalancing your home life, reigniting your relationship with your significant other, and reclaiming your Unicorn Space— as in, the time to develop the skills and passions that keep you interested and interesting."Fair Play LifeKimberly Didrikson: Fair Play Facilitator/Book Club Registration (Register by March 5th to receive the Fair Play book for FREE!)TMAC Fitness. 20 Minute Home Workouts Beginner and Advanced Workouts. A friend and former yoga buddy of mine, Todd McCullough, joins me to dispel some myths about what it takes to transform your body and live healthy!  He's a fitness and mindset expert and takes us through a wonderful meditation at the end of the interview.   Todd attended University of Florida, where he was a starting football player. Like many athletes, he suffered numerous injuries. He had a career in finance at Merrill Lynch, and was laid off during the financial crisis of 2008. Todd knew it was time for a new direction. His football injuries led him to a yoga studio, where he discovered a way to move with his physical restrictions. This led Todd to merge his new passion for yoga with athletic training — and TMAC FITNESS was born. It began as a personal training business, where Todd trained thousands of clients, including Olympic athletes and celebrity artists. Eventually, it was time to scale. Now, TMAC FITNESS is an online membership-based company that provides short, fast, and effective workouts — with a strong emphasis on mindfulness. You'd be hard-pressed to find a mother who hasn't experienced parent shaming or mom guilt. Today's guest, Mercedes Samudio, is a licensed psychotherapist, parent coach, speaker, and bestselling author. She has started the hashtag #endparentshaming and coined the term ‘Shame Proof Parenting' in an effort to show parents that they are already great guides for their children to experience happy and healthy lives. During this episode, you will hear about Mercedes' non-traditional upbringing, which sparked her interest in child-parent relationships. She talks about the impossible standard of perfection for parents or children, how our lack of understanding results in parent shaming, and why it is so powerful to ask how a parent has developed their values and beliefs in order to have them reassess how they are parenting their children. We discuss the identity changes that occur when you become a parent and with each additional child, and Mercedes explains that the reason for parents becoming overly permissive or restrictive is not about bad parenting, but comes down to internalized beliefs from their own experiences. You'll also hear Mercedes' thoughts about managing screen time, and her reassuring belief that being a good parent is not about being perfect, but you should always be mindful. We hope you join us to hear from this inspiring psychotherapist today!Key Points From This Episode:Why she believes the best way to provide a healthy environment for children is to stop shaming the people who are caring for them. How the standard of perfection for parents creates impossible standards for children. The Parental Identity Development Model that looks at what type of parent you want to be.How an identity shift happens every time you bring a new child into your parenting space. Why parent shaming occurs when we don't understand what it means to be a parent. How there is a disproportionate focus on the child, leaving parents unequipped. An example of a parent who felt fear about her teenage child expressing her womanhood because of an underlying fear of sexual assault. The power of asking how a parent came to have the values and beliefs that they have. Why parents becoming overly permissive or restrictive is not about bad parenting, but internalized beliefs from their own experiences.Identity changes that occur as your children's identities change. How seeing the world through your child's eyes is an opportunity to reparent yourself.Separating your parental identity from your identity as a whole to combat parent shaming. How a child acting out is not always a sign of ADHD or mental health, but often reflects what is going on with the family.Introducing your children to different cultures in order to raise non-racist kids. The power of telling your children you don't know the answer and researching it together. The goal of becoming a full human and showing your child how to be a full human as well.Links Mentioned in Today's Episode: Mercedes Samudio on LinkedInMercedes Samudio on InstagramShame Proof ParentingShame Proof ParentingMom, Slow Down!TMAC Fitness. 20 Minute Home Workouts Beginner and Advanced Workouts.
