Par amerikāņu avangarda teātra režisoru, dramaturgu un vizuālo mākslinieku Robertu Vilsonu, kurš mainījis mūsdienu teātra valodu un kura projekts "UBU" būs skatāms arī Latvijā, Kultūras rondo iztaujājam teātra zinātnieces Valdu Čakari un Zani Radzobi. 6. un 7. februārī Rīgā, "Hanzas peronā", izrādīs "UBU" — leģendārā amerikāņu režisora Roberta Vilsona projektu. "Būtu grēks neskatīties Vilsonu, ja to atved klāt," ir teicis kāds teātra kritiķis. Tāpēc, gaidot izrādi "UBU" Rīgā, nolēmām, ka par Robertu Vilsonu ir jāpastāsta vairāk. Gan par to, ka viņš radīja jaunu teātra valodu, gan kurus darbus, ko sauc par ikoniskiem, un tās nav tikai teātra izrādes, vajadzētu noskatīties. "Domāju, ka svarīgi ir pateikti, kāpēc Vilsons man liekas gandrīz unikāls. Viņa karjera ir ļoti gara. Viņš ir sācis 70. gados un aktīvi strādājis līdz pat savai nāvei, un visu laiku bijis topā. Tā nenotiek," bilst Zane Radzobe. "Gandrīz 60 gadi mākslā un visu laiku būt vērtīgam, būtiskam un pašā virsotnē — tas ir ļoti neparasti. Līdz ar to Vilsonu var skatīties hrestomātiski, jo ir liels posms, kas ir hrestomātisks postmodernisma piemērs." "Vilsona laikam arī ir viens no pēdējiem lielajiem, ģeniālajiem režijas teātra pārstāvjiem," turpina Zane Radzobe. "Režisors teātrī nozīmē nevis cilvēku, kas tehniski veido izrādi, bet lielie režisori nāk ar savu unikālu pasaules skatījumu, unikālu estētiku. Iemesls, kāpēc Vilsonu vajag redzēt kaut vai vienu reizi, jo bez Vilsona teātris, kāds tas ir mūsdienās, neeksistētu, jo viņš ļoti daudz ir izmainījis. No otras puses Vilsonu nedrīkst arī kopēt, jo tiklīdz kaut kas izskatās tāpat, bet nav Vilsons, tā ir zādzība. Īsto lietu redzēt ir ļoti svarīgi." -- Roberts Vilsons ir cilvēks, kurš radījis jaunu teātri. Viņa estētika pilnībā pārveidoja priekšstatus par to, kā domāt skatuvi: gaisma kļuva par aktiera partneri, žests — par jēgu, bet klusums — par frāzi, no kuras nav iespējams novērst skatienu. "UBU" ir iestudējums, kuru iedvesmojusi revolucionārā Alfrēda Žari luga "Karalis Ubū", kas gadsimtu mijā apvērsusi teātra priekšstatus, kā arī Žoana Miro vizuālais mantojums — mākslinieks daudzkārt atgriezies pie Ubū tēla, radot savas slavenās groteskās figūras. Vilsona izrādē šī mākslinieciskā pasaule pārtop dzīvajā skatuves glezniecībā: lelles, sirreāli objekti, apzināti groteski tēli — viss atdzīvojas, smejas, biedē un atmasko. Tas ir alegoriju teātris, kurā komiskais un šausminošais pastāv līdzās. Šeit vara ir mūžīgs balagāns, nežēlība — smieklu otra puse, bet skatītājs — absurda liecinieks, kas pēkšņi kļūst par realitāti. Ar šo darbu Vilsons runā par to, par ko nedrīkst klusēt: par tirāniju, barbarismu un cilvēka dabu, kas tiecas atkārtot savus visbriesmīgākos lokus.

Il y aurait aussi une « zone rouge », « destinée à être laissée en ruines », et « où seraient déplacés, la quasi-totalité des Palestiniens », selon une information exclusive du quotidien britannique. Pour le Guardian, il y a de quoi s'interroger. « Les plans militaires américains soulèvent de nombreuses questions quant à l'engagement de Washington à transformer le cessez-le-feu, annoncé le mois dernier, en un règlement politique durable avec un contrôle palestinien sur Gaza, comme l'avait promis Donald Trump ». Car tout change très vite côté américain, précise le Guardian, qui parle « d'une approche chaotique et improvisée pour résoudre l'un des conflits les plus complexes et les plus insolubles du monde ». Ainsi, « la reconstruction sous forme « de camps fermés pour des petits groupes de Palestiniens », a-t-elle été « abandonnée cette semaine », selon un responsable américain. Un changement de plan dont « les organisations humanitaires n'ont pas été informées ». Pendant ce temps, conclut le Guardian, « près d'un million et demi de Palestiniens attendent des abris d'urgence, et des centaines de milliers d'autres vivent sous des tentes sans accès aux services essentiels, comme l'eau potable ». L'ombre des narcotrafiquants sur un nouvel assassinat à Marseille Toute la presse française s'en émeut ce matin. « Absolument terrifiant » titre Le Parisien, « Mehdi, 20 ans, petit frère d'Amine Kessaci, militant écologiste de 22 ans engagé dans la lutte contre le narco-banditisme, a été tué jeudi par un commando. L'ombre d'un crime d'avertissement plane » ajoute le quotidien, qui parle « d'une exécution en règle par deux hommes à moto, devant une pharmacie des quartiers nord de la ville ». « Un travail de pro », selon une source sécuritaire. Le Monde cite les propos du ministre de la Justice, Gérald Darmanin qui évoque « un point de bascule effrayant », un assassinat qui « doit faire prendre conscience du danger de cette mafia du narco-banditisme à l'ensemble de la société française ». « Le narcotrafic s'immisce dans la campagne pour les municipales », titre de son côté Le Figaro, pour qui « l'assassinat du frère du militant écologiste ravive les craintes des élus locaux, confrontés à un niveau de violence et d'intimidation jamais atteint ». Quant au journal Libération, il a interrogé la chercheuse Clotilde Champeyrache, qui parle de « méthodes qui font écho à l'ultra-violence des narcos colombiens ». « L'assassinat de Mehdi Kessaci est-il un acte d'intimidation, est-ce nouveau ? » lui demande le journal. « Si c'est avéré, oui, ça serait une nouveauté en France », répond-elle […] Ce sont des façons de faire qui font écho à l'Amérique latine ».  Où est vraiment Vladimir Poutine ? Question posée par le quotidien français La Croix, qui se fait l'écho d'une enquête de Radio Free Europe, selon laquelle « le bureau du président russe aurait été reproduit à l'identique dans deux autres lieux, pour faire croire à sa présence dans la capitale ». La radio américaine « a ainsi analysé près de 700 vidéos et en est arrivée à la conclusion que bon nombre des séquences présentées comme filmées à Moscou, l'étaient en réalité dans des résidences secondaires du chef de l'État, à Valdaï (entre Moscou et Saint-Pétersbourg) ou à Sotchi ». Selon La Croix, « c'est une poignée de porte qui a mis Radio Free Europe sur la piste du subterfuge », elle a en effet constaté « que la poignée de porte était, dans un cas, quelques centimètres plus haut que l'autre, par rapport à une ligne sur le papier peint ». D'autres défauts ont aussi été relevés. Pourquoi Vladimir Poutine joue-t-il ainsi à cache-cache ? Sans doute pour « des raisons de sécurité », estime La Croix. « Sa résidence de Valdaï est dissimulée dans une forêt à l'abri des frappes de drones ukrainiens ».

Tur ir pat Valda Grēviņa taka. Kā Grēviņa dzeju lasa mazbērni Marta Dziļuma un Toms Grēviņš, kā arī, kā par Grēviņa dzeju personiskā pieredzē stāsta teātra zinātniece Rita Rotkale, interesējamies Kultūras rondo. Pat tad, ja jūs nebūsit dzirdējuši viņa vārdu, jūs noteikti zināsit kaut vienu no šīm dziesmām, kurās skan viņa  dzeja – ļoti atšķirīgas dziesmas. Raimonda Paula "Virši zied" no filmas "Likteņdzirnas", "Līvu" dziesma "Dzelsgriezējs" un Burharda Sosāra "Tas trakais kavalieru gads", kas turpina skanēt kā Dailes teātra himna, tai pievienojoties arvien jaunai aktieru paaudzei. Valda Grēviņa (1895. – 1968.) mazmeita Marta Dziļuma, kas arī sastādījusi Grēviņa dzejas izlasi "Veca cilvēka dziesmas", atklāj, kāpēc tieši Tērvetē svinam. Būt Tērvetē, iet pa Valda Grēviņa taku, apiet apkārt Tērvetes sanatorijai un sameklēt Kārļa Zemdegas veidotos cilņus, arī tas pieder pie Grēviņa 130 gadu svinēšanas. Tāpat kā novērtēt spēcīgo priežu gaisu un labo akustiku. Pie Tērvetes sanatorijas  visi var runāt bez mikrofoniem, gan dzejnieki Daina Sirmā, Ērika Bērziņa, Aivars Eipurs un Jānis Rokpelnis, gan Tērvetes amatierteātra aktieri Sandra Zuševica un Gustavs Kuģis. Katrs izvēlējies savu Valda Grēviņa dzejoli. Bet teātra zinātniece Rita Rotkale izstāstu kādu ļoti personisku stāstu par Valda Grēviņa dzeju. Jautāsit, kāpēc par Valdi Grēviņu tik maz zinām? Iiespējams, tāpēc, ka viņš pieder pie 20. gadsimta 30. gadu  jaunromantisma autoriem, nav uzrakstījis daudz, bet bijis viens no visizsmalcinātajiem liriķiem un skumjākajiem dzejniekiem. Viņa dzeja bēg no dzīves un sociālā reālisma, viņa dzejai nav pa ceļam ar padomju cilvēku. Tā to novērtē arī Vilis Lācis pēc 1946. gadā iznākušās dzejas grāmatas "Lapas lido, lapas skan". 1951. gadā seko arests, Tērvetes māju nacionalizācija un pieci gadi Irkutskas apgabala nometēs.

Stāsta muzikoloģe, Latvijas Nacionālā rakstniecības un mūzikas muzeja mākslas eksperte Inese Žune. Šeit mēs varam satikt tos, kuri, būdami izcili savā mākslā, bija arī pragmatiski savas mājas kopēji un uzturētāji, pie tam viņi to uztvēra kā relaksāciju un atslēgšanos no iemīļotās skaņu pasaules. Viņu vidū ir ar spēcīgu temperamentu apveltītā pasaules mēroga latviešu dziedātāja Alīda Vāne (1899–1969), kura teikusi, ka viņas “mākslas dzimtene ir Itālija!” Lauku darbus Alīda iepazinusi jau agrā bērnībā, un pēc atgriešanās Latvijā 30. gadu nogalē tie viņai kļuvuši par svarīgu relaksācijas veidu. Viņa teikusi: „ Tikai tagad izjūtu, ko nozīmē vārds – dzimtene. Barojot savas 30 vistas Ventas krastā, es jutos laimīgāka, nekā aplausu vidū uz Santjago vai Losandželosas operu skatuves.” (Jaunākās Ziņas, 1937. gada 24. augusts). Māju sajūta bijusi svarīga arī mūsu izcilajam tenoram Jānim Zāberam (1935–1973). Viņš pratis visus lauku darbus un mācējis apieties arī ar tehniku. Vasarās, vecāku mājās dziedātājs piedalījies ierastajos lauku darbos – siena talkās, ogu lasīšanā un ievārījumu vārīšanā, ābolu vākšanā un sulu spiešanā. Zābers ļoti mīlējis ūdeņus - vizinājies ar laivu un makšķerējis, piedalījies arī medībās. Studiju laikā Itālijā dziedātājs brīvajā laikā rakstījis vēstules, sevišķi daudz sievai Birutai, kurās cita starpā aprakstījis iepirkšanos Itālijas veikalos, domājot par dzīvesbiedri un  mājām. Šajā ekspozīcijas daļā mūs gaida arī tikšanās ar liepājnieku, komponistu Agri Engelmani (1936–2011), kurš līdzās mūzikai izglītojies arī koktēlniecībā. Savās lauku mājās “Ausekļos” viņš radījis senatnīgu kurzemniecisku vidi, vācis senus mājas priekšmetus un darbarīkus. Pats iekārtojis arī mājas apkārtni – izracis dīķi, uzbēris tur saliņu, vācis un stādījis retus augus. Lauku mājas viņam bijusi kā saikne ar Latvijas dabu un tautas dzīvesziņu. Uz Jāņiem pie viņa uz laukiem parasti sabrauca Liepājas koristi un mūziķi. Tad Engelmanis kūra Jāņu guni augstu stabā, visi dziedāja, spēlēja un svinēja. Romualds Kalsons (1936–2024) komponējis daudz un žilbinājis ar savām orķestra krāsām un enerģijas pilnajiem Allegro. Viņš prokrastinējis, ceļot māju Garciemā  un pievēršoties būvdarbiem. Bērnībā Kalsons sapņojis, ka būs šoferis un pieaudzis tiešām nopirka automašīnu un pats ar to brauca. Tā bijusi īsta relaksācija. Operas “Uguns un nakts” un daudzu citu talantīgu darbu autors Jānis Mediņš (1890–1966) bijis ļoti sabiedrisks cilvēks, liels anekdošu stāstītājs, sabiedriskās dzīves dvēsele. Ārpus mūzikas viņam bijušas vēl vairākas aizraušanās: makšķerēšana, tepiķu aušana vai izšūšana un mēbeļu gatavošana pēc paša zīmējumiem. Jāni Mediņu mēdza dēvēt par visražīgāko latviešu komponistu. Viņš rakstīja spontāni. Arvien ar iedvesmu un aizrautību un, kā mūziķi saka, ar “vieglu roku” it kā  rotaļādamies. Ekspozīcijas 7. daļā sastopam arī spožo dziedātāju Žermēnu Heini-Vāgneri (1923–2017),Viņa ļoti mīlējusi un pati kopusi dārzu, un bijusi kārtīga mājasmāte: tīrījusi māju, gatavojusi ēst, ar rokām mazgājusi un gludinājusi veļu. Savā dzīvoklī  Elizabetes ielā, labprāt rīkojusi viesības ar ģimenes draugiem. Mīlējusi skaistus traukus un labas, senas mēbeles. Nozīmīga skatuves zvaigznes dzīvē bijusi drošības sajūta, ko sniedz kārtība mājās un tuvinieku atbalsts. Pa atvērtām ledusskapja durvīm redzamās konservu bundžas mūs aizved pie čella mākslas izcilības Ēvalda Berzinska (1891–1968), kurš izaudzinājis veselu plejādi latviešu čellistu. Viens no viņiem Māris Villerušs, kuram savukārt bijusi sena kaislība uz dažādiem braucamrīkiem, motocikla blakusvāģī vairakkārt savu profesoru vedis no konservatorijas (tagadējās J. Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas akadēmijas) uz medībām un otrādi. Jā, Berzinskis bijis aizrautīgs mednieks un savulaik viņa māte tik spējusi konservēt irbes un cept zaķu cepešus. Medības ir bijušas viņa mīļākā nodarbe un aizrautība visa mūža garumā. Tomēr galvenais dzinulis, kā viņš pats izteicies, nav bijis medību azarts, bet gan iespēja būt labi nopļautā āboliņa laukā ar ideālu aromātu, būt pavasarī lapu mežā, kad visapkārt smaržo vijolītes un maijpuķītes, ar baudu noskatīties negaisa liesmojošos zibeņos. Otra Ēvalda Berzinska aizraušanās bijusi dārzkopība – viņš siltumnīcā audzējis vīnogas un pats potējis augļu kokus. Vēl 60 gadu vecumā viņš būvējis māju Baltezerā un iekārtojis dārzu. Tiesa gan, strādājot viņam bieži gadījās aizsist garām naglai, trāpot pa pirkstiem. Šogad izdotajai Ēvalda Valtera grāmatai "Rusiāde. Manas skatuves un kara gaitas" ir sarežģīta vēsture. Tajā gan poēma "Rusiāde", kuru Ēvalds Valters bija parakstījis ar pseidonīmu Ints Baltarājs un sarakstīja padomju okupētajā Latvijā, gan Valtera rakstāmgaldā atrastais atmiņu manuskripts. To atrada Aina Sļisarenko, kurai aktieru Ēvalda Valtera un Veras Gribačas dēls Raits uzticēja glabāt vecāku bibliotēku Kurmāles pagasta pārvaldes ēkā. Tā ir Ēvalda Valtera dzimtā puse, dēla vēlme ir, lai bibliotēka dzīvo, nevis paliek ieslēgta kādā dzīvoklī. Sazinoties ar Kurmāles cilvēkiem, tagad piemiņas istabu iespējams apmeklēt ikvienam, bet apgāda "Jumava" izdotajā grāmatā "Rusiāde.
