On Friday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael reacted to the Milwaukee Bucks Game 5 win over the Atlanta Hawks in the Easter Conference Finals. The Bucks take a 3-2 series lead into State Farm Arena on Saturday as they look to make their first NBA Finals appearance since 1974. While Andy and Randy talked about how Jrue Holiday was the best player on the floor in Game 5 and the contributions the Bucks got from Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis, they turned their attention to Brook Lopez who had a career playoff high 33 points. Lopez scored 26 of his 33 points in the paint, the most points he has scored in the paint in over five seasons. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

While Andy & Dylan were in Chicago, they paid a visit to Adam Smith of Luckyprints. But that was weeks ago, and we figured we'd circle back to check in on him, make sure he's okay, and see if he misses us at all. In our conversation with him we discovered that this Chicagoan is actually a Georgian in disguise, who has covered a lot of miles around the country to find himself where he is today. It's an adventure you'll wanna sit shotgun on, topics discussed include: Incubators, manpons, bathing(and not bathing), van life, customer lists, automations, separation wizards, dissolving partnerships, and the anatomy of the Kool-Aid Man.
Jason welcomes Andy Budd back to the Businessology Show for an insider look at what navigating inevitable transitions in agencies entails. While Andy also shares his personal decision to sell his company, ClearLeft, to his employees and how to think through these leadership moves.
Daunte Wright and Ashli Babbitt. Both shot by police officers and both dead. But only one was wanted on a violent crimes warrant and only one of the shooters is being prosecuted. While the loss of any life is tragic, we don't - as a society - toss out the whole of the very process we use to establish guilty or innocence; circumstance or malice. But evidently when Black Lives Matter is involved, everyone who isn't Black is guilty until proven innocent and due process doesn't exist. This month Andy and Alex turn their attention to another animated Troughton tale. While Andy shares his love of the cosy Harris residence and its Broken Sword-esque dinette, Alex gets on board with Robson's frustration at Harris's University education. Elsewhere they uncover the most often repeated phrase in the story, the gift of jumpsuits and the criminally hidden gem that is Megan Jones. All this and two quizzes (count 'em!) as well as two more spins on The Time-Space Visualiser. What more could you want? Come and get your hot and foamy dinghy action! You came for Victoria's swan-song, you'll leave wishing their had been an extra episode set at an out of town retail centre where everyone went bowling. Thank you please and kind regards. Next Time: The Ribos Operation
Alex and Andy watch the partially lost Troughton adventure The Faceless Ones. While Andy realises that there's more to this story than crouching beside aircraft wheels, Alex cottons on that this isn't Ben's first story! Although they find much to enjoy here: Pauline Collins, the postcard plot, and clappy music to name just three, Ales and Andy admit to being confused by the Chameleons plan, but are pleased that one of them at least gets to visit Dubrovnik and other European cities in order to pursue their dastardly goals. Kilts are discussed in some detail and there are tangential excursions to the BSB Doctor Who Weekend, BDO World Darts, Dimensions in Time and Upstairs Downstairs. In the quiz Alex has to guess Gold or Silver, while the Time-Space Visualiser offers The Motors and Deacon Blue on its teeny tiny black and white screen. Although they both watched different formats of the story ahead of this podcast the pair still put out a call for yet another format: the bananimated version - where bananas replace the cast. Who wouldn't want to see that?! Next Time: Something Hartnell this way comes (William not Norman).

In this week’s edition of PFN’s NFL Draft Insiders, Tony Pauline and Andy Herman discuss the latest buzz and rumors leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft, including news on Denzel Mims, C.J. Henderson, Tyler Biadasz, Jeff Gladney, Jeremy Chinn, Justin Madubuike, and others. WR Denzel Mims to be selected earlier than expected?[4:00] Tony and Andy talk about Baylor WR Denzel Mims and how some within league circles believe that he will go earlier than some expect. What is the latest we are hearing on Mims, and why are teams high on him? CB C.J. Henderson also on the rise?[7:10] Another player that may be on the rise heading into the 2020 NFL Draft is Florida Gators CB C.J. Henderson. While some reports say that Henderson has moved past Ohio State CB Jeff Okudah on some boards, Pauline throws some water on that. However, Pauline has heard that Henderson may end up being a top-12 pick on April 23. During this segment, Andy and Tony also discuss Okudah and break down his game. Who might be looking to trade down in the first round of the NFL Draft?[10:37] Pauline has been hearing some rumors about who may be looking to trade down in the first round of the NFL Draft. This includes the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Tennessee Titans. Who might be they be targeting with their trade down? Any surprises in the top 5 of the 2020 NFL Draft?[13:05] We see surprises every year, but will this year be different? While it's widely assumed that the first few picks are all but a lock, there is no guarantee on who the New York Giants will select. And now, Pauline tells us what he is hearing regarding the Giants' draft plans. QBs James Morgan and Ben DiNucci moving up the draft boards?[18:40] One of the quarterbacks in the later rounds of the draft who may be moving up the boards is Florida International University QB James Morgan. Pauline says that there are some teams who think he may slip into the end of day 2, but it's more likely that he's one of the first quarterbacks - if not the first quarterback - selected on day 3. Pauline talks about what makes Morgan an attractive middle/late-round prospect.Starting at the 21:51 mark, Pauline also talks about James Madison QB Ben DiNucci and why the news of him potentially moving into the seventh round is interesting and noteworthy. Tyler Biadasz moving down draft boards? Other OL on the move?[24:41] While Andy and Tony talk about prospects who are moving up draft boards, they also talk about some who are moving down boards. Pauline explains why Biadaz is dropping down boards, which includes medical concerns. Once considered a first-round pick, Pauline says that a few people are saying he may drop into the third day of the draft. What other offensive linemen might be on the move on the board? Pauline gives the scoop on this position group, including specifics on the likes of Matt Hennessy and Cesar Ruiz.Chase Claypool being converted from WR to TE?[28:24] Notre Dame WR Chase Claypool may have been a receiver in college, but are some teams projecting him to the tight end position in the NFL? And with that projection, have some teams penciled him in as TE1 on their board? There's been quite a bit of buzz about this in recent days and Pauline tells us what he is hearing around the league.Scouting Reports on Jeff Gladney, Jeremy Chinn, and Justin Madubuike[32:02] Tony and Andy give their breakdowns on CB Jeff Gladney, S Jeremy Chinn, and DT Justin Madubuike. Where do they project these players going during the draft and what are their strengths and weaknesses? The two take a close look at each of these defensive players to wrap up the show.

Adam and Andy come in fresh off combine tape, looking at the wide receiver class in the upcoming draft. While Andy hoped Justin Jefferson could be in the Giants future, and Adam eyed the sizable asset in Chase Claypool, the combine results may have changed that outlook but not for a lack of talent. Other thoughts discussed: Andy has punters on the mind with an impressive bench performance, while Adam finds a late round Center that may change is apporach to filling that roster need. All that plus a brief look at the cap space, retiring players and FA linebackers with familiar names! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/support

Adam and Andy take their first crack at the draft! After setting the table with some agreed upon Free Agent moves that focus on the defensive side of the ball - the guys dive in! Using Bleacher Report's(Matt Miller) latest Big Board and a "NO TRADE" scenario Adam and Andy discuss the first 4 rounds for the New York Giants in depth. Consensus is often met on round to round needs, but the names being called vary. Offensive Line depth and defensive athleticism take center stage as both Adam and Andy try to build a complete unit in New York. While Andy continues to build defensive depth, the 4th round brings a surprise for Adam, and a value pick that certainly raises eyebrows. One thing is for sure, there is endless optimism for the 2020 Draft, and the guys agree- the New York Football Giants can fill a number of needs. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/support

SPOILER: Reviewing movies, books & TV shows in their entirety
“What if everything that came from the past was influenced by the future.” This week we’re heading to Winden for the time-travelling Netflix drama ‘Dark’ and not everyone is overly impressed with this cult phenomenon. While Rachael is a dedicated fan immersed in the twists and turns of the show’s convoluted family tree, Andy is completely baffled, bored and ultimately bedraggled by his attempts to wade through all ten episodes. And while Paul is on the fence once again, he is disappointed by the fact that the series can travel to three completely different eras and not find a scrap of humour in any of them. While Andy moans endlessly about how thin and uninteresting the characters are, Rachael fights a gallant but losing battle to convince the others that ‘Dark’ is worth the hype. Paul considers whether an electric chair is an appropriate parenting aid and Andy weighs up whether he’d rather face the gallows or season 2 of ‘Dark’. Rachael bemoans the quality of the English dub and extols the importance of setting the language options correctly, something which a bewildered Andy has trouble with. Paul wonders if he’d look good in Jonas’s yellow coat. And while not everyone loves ‘Dark’, the whole team can at least agree on the greatness of Cyndi Lauper. Elsewhere, Andy and Jonny go on a quest through time to find a lost gem amongst time-travel movies of the past, including ‘Biggles: Adventure in Time’, ‘12:01pm’ and ‘Timescape’. One of the scariest questions to ask in this field is, “are you firing me?” You might have asked this yourself, out loud or in silence, but regardless of how, it's nerve-wracking just the same. Andy Racic has been in professional sales for nine years and most of those years were spent serving HR professionals. These days, Andy is with a software company called Tango Health. They offer B2B software and outsourcing solutions to help professionals across the country. The beginning While Andy was living in Houston, he was working for an agency recruitment firm called Michael Page. The agency recruitment space is 100% sales: that is 90% sales and 10% consulting. They were in the business of the oil and gas market and despite the difficult times in the business, their agency was able to establish a good relationship with their clients. Out of the blue, one of their clients asked him to help find a recruiter. That was an alarming thing to hear because to him it sounded very much like looking for their replacement. It was a source of concern because the market was going downhill so their company was looking for ways to keep their clients and continue serving them. Andy ran that client inquiry to his manager and they dug into it. They discovered that the company was having a big project that would involve a lot of hiring for them. The company was looking at 30-50% growth and they were looking for more people. Andy and his manager went back to the drawing board and built an entire recruitment process outsourcing model for that company. They then made the call and presented the model for them and convinced them to trust them a little bit more instead of hiring another recruitment agency that they hadn't worked with before. Putting the best foot forward There were doubts about whether what they did would work. The market was changing and the client could have gone in a different direction instead of working with them. Still, Andy and his team did what they could. Andy's team did a thorough briefing on the situation with their client's internal stakeholders and presented a team that would help in the recruitment process. He gave them the background of each individual along with their track record and the reasons why they're a good fit. They won their trust and worked with the company, so to speak. Andy's agency found a lot of people for them and delivered good results for them. When a problem arises, salespeople can always go back to the traditional process of evaluating the problem and going deeper to understand that challenge. When you know and understand what you are facing, you can create a solution. #SalesTips A good salesperson needs an open mind whenever he hears information because the snippets of information may make or break your business or the deal. Be on the lookout for what's going on and dig in until the third level questions to ensure that there are no assumptions on your side. Make sure that you make the best out of any situation. When you're talking to a client, listen intently to pick up something especially when things go south. Stay present when the client is speaking rather than making them repeat what they said because that's how you win a deal. The NaySayers are back with another quick-hitter episode. While Andy's off to sell glue systems, Robbe and Patrick sit down to vent about recent USMNT developments. Robbe talks about his go-to celebration (4:00);, we decide if Frank Lampard hates America or not (5:10);, Robbe gives his projections for the Nations Cup roster (18:30);, and it dawns on me that the USSF is using the D.E.N.N.I.S. system on its dual-nationals (22:55).

Happy 34th birthday, Stephanie! For her birthday, Stephanie put up a poll to have the fans decide if we should talk about Curse of Chucky or Child's Play 2. I'm happy that y'all wanted Child's Play 2 as it's my favorite Chucky movie! Childs Play 2 (1990) dir John Lafia "While Andy's mother is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, the young boy is placed in foster care, and Chucky, determined to claim Andy's soul, is not far behind." In this TechtalkRadio Show, Justin and Andy try to change up the opening we've been using since 1996 and it’s an absolute disaster. The guys ask for listeners to send audio/voice of their favorite Technology so we can use it during the show opener. The guys talk about Email hacks and now some are using phone hacks to spoof phone numbers. In this new day an age, answering the phone has become a hassle not a joy. Leave a message or get blocked. The guys have been really impressed with what is available from Logitech. Logitech even makes a keyboard, the K400 Plus which can work with Smart TV's making it easier to type in passwords for Amazon, Hulu and other streaming networks. A new survey is out still suggesting that over 10,000 people surveyed, they still use 123456 as passwords. Some thoughts shared on this and why it should be changed right away. Justin shares the website Lastpass.com as a solution for creating good passwords. In Episode #02 of the Podcast, Michael & Andy capture their concepts for the theme 'New Beginnings'. While Andy's interpretation manifests itself as a collection of practicing licks mixed together to form what he calls 'My First Rocksong' (22:50), Michael takes another route - and this time, it's personal - as he builds a song using all of the milestone elements of his 'Musical Biography' (49:35). While Andy and Mitch are gearing up for their LIVE show at Celluloid Screams, the wheels keep turning! So with that in mind and on the day that sees the Worldwide release of Blumhouse and David Gordon Green's Halloween, we thought that we would get in the spirit with an episode sure to get you in the mood!Episode 25 sees Andy and Mitch joined by actor (Beyond the Gates, The Minds Eye, Contracted) and director of Frightfest favourite Dementia: Part II, Matt Mercer. His chosen film? Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers! Following the relative flatness of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, the sixth instalment in the slasher franchise almost feels like a welcome breath of fresh air as it makes bold attempts to take the franchise in new directions, while ramping up the violence. Is it successful? You be the judge of that. Featuring the debut appearance of Paul Rudd, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is the last hurrah of a dying sub-genre. The Halloween film for the slasher fans just waiting for the release of Scream a year later. The synopsis is as follows: Since psychotic killer Michael Myers disappeared with his niece Jaime in a fire six years ago, the town of Haddonfield has been readjusting itself to come to terms with the horrors it has witnessed. Despite the warnings of psychiatrist Doctor Sam Loomis, the townsfolk are ready once again to celebrate Halloween. A shock is in store for all, however, when Michael makes a bloody return. Shout out to Simone for sending his deck for Andy and Kyle to check out. Andy and Kyle take a look at Simone's Queen Marchesa deck. All too often we all have high hopes for our commander decks and they don't quite perform like we envisioned. Simone is looking for ideas, like all of us in that situation. Kyle and Andy explore the process of tweaking a deck that has a variety of possibilities like Queen Marchesa. Kyle goes through a pressure build that would be more suited for an aggro light play group. While Andy shares how Queen Marchesa can be built to cut the throats of opponents that were expecting to cut yours with their aggro decks. Here's Simone's deck list: And here's Kyle's pressure version: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/kyles-queen-marchesa-pressure/ Find Andy's deck on coming soon (http://tappedout.net/users/LegendaryCreature-Podcast/mtg-decks/). "What is so special about Josh Baskin?” “He’s a grown up!” The Spoiler team are back and we all reckoned it was criminal that we still hadn’t looked at a Tom Hanks film yet. We’re rectifying this by kicking off series 6 with Penny Marshall’s 1988 fantasy comedy ‘Big’. While Andy and Rachael both grew up with ‘Big’, Paul lives up to his reputation for procrastination by only having seen it for the first time a couple of days ago. While this precludes Paul from joining in with the rest of the team’s impromptu recreation of the ‘Shimmy Shimmy Coco Pop’ song, the magic of this charming film proves as effective on a 41 year old man as it was on two wide-eyed pre-teens. Andy reluctantly recounts his inadvertent encyclopaedic knowledge of body-swap comedies and reveals how he himself fared when he took on the Ice Wizard (spoiler: his hesitancy cost him dearly!). The team also discuss some of ‘Big’s more questionable elements, such as the scene of “hand-on-bra action” between a 13 year old boy and an adult woman. Rachael wonders whether switching the genders of the lead characters would have made a difference to audience reactions and, of course, highlights the importance of the score in diminishing our misgivings. While Andy tries desperately to stop a determined Paul from asking all the questions you’re not supposed to ask about the Zoltar machine, everyone appreciates the authenticity of the classic ‘Heart and Soul’ piano scene, bum notes and all, but Rachael wonders whether ‘Big: The Musical’ might have been a step too far. Elsewhere, inspired by John Heard’s performance as Paul Davenport, Andy reveals his top 5 baddies who weren’t really that bad, including Walter Peck from ‘Ghostbusters’, the hyenas from ‘The Lion King’ and Eddie Cochran’s parents in the rock ‘n’ roll classic ‘Summertime Blues’. This week’s scale: Big or Gib (and yes, it is a word!)
Andy Sack is the Director of Cultivation for PRICH BIO TECH in Puerto Rico. But, his journey to island life started at Kind Love in Denver, Colorado in 2012. While Andy was working for Kind Love, they won medical dispensary of the year in 2015 from Cannabis Business Awards, Best Flower 2016 from Westword, best flower at a dispensary 2016, Cannabis Business Awards and more. About a year ago, he was offered an opportunity in Puerto Rico. After he got out there, he realized the legal medical cannabis scene there was extremely different than Colorado. The majority of the medical cannabis patients are women over the age of 60 who are using cannabis as an alternative to pharmaceutical options. Also, the governor passed a law that restricts flower sales to only terminally ill patients. Basically, despite the fact that Puerto Rico is super bankrupt, they're actually regressing their cannabis laws. PRICH BIO TECH holds the most licenses for any cultivation facility in the state. Formerly a pharmaceutical manufacturer, they currently have a 420,000 square foot grow. Most other facilities are still waiting for their licenses because of state disorganization and political turmoil. Additionally, even if those licenses were properly distributed, there isn't not enough patients because the government is stalling distribution of medical cards. As Andy stated, “There's mass confusion in the industry here in Puerto Rico in this moment. It's kind of a hot mess.” Stay tuned for more on what's happening with medical cannabis legalization in Puerto Rico, behind the scenes of a 420,000 square foot grow, seeds, strains, genetics and more on this episode of The Real Dirt with Chip Baker.
In just 25 minutes I learned how much we are capable of when we put our minds to it. Andy Amick turned his love for mountain biking into one of the most interesting legacy building exercises I have heard. As Andy's passion for Mountain Biking grew, he discovered a race called "Tour Divide", which is a 2,745 mile (4,418km) ride from Banff, Alberta to Antelope Wells, New Mexico. After a grueling 24 days, Andy completed the race at with countless stories to share. What was unique about Andy's story (aside from the run in with a Mountain Lion), was that Andy found it more challenging writing and publishing a book, then riding a bike for 24 straight days. In addition to writing a book, and completing the "Tour Divide", Andy has built an e-commerce business selling mountain bike specific first aid kits, along with a number of other great resources (find them here). While Andy grew up in an entrepreneurial family, he did not inherit any of these natural traits. He is a software programmer by day and runs this business on the side as a legacy business he would like to pass on to his children. So many industry giants are recognized for building billion dollar fortunes, having a fleet of jets, yachts, mansions, etc. We often fail to recognize the passion-preneurs who have built businesses that reflect who they are and the things they life - like Andy. “You never had a camera in my head” Have you ever had the feeling you’re being watched? The Spoiler team certainly have and we share those experiences as we take a look at Peter Weir’s comedy-drama ‘The Truman Show’, starring Jim Carrey, Laura Linney, Ed Harris and Natascha McElhone. While Andy calls ‘The Truman Show’ “one of the defining films of the 90s", Paul wonders whether his problem with Ed Harris extends beyond the hat he wears in this film and Rachael recounts how she came to see Jim Carrey as more than just a “gurning bloke”. The team get serious as they examine the psychological implications of Truman’s imprisonment and discuss the real life condition known as The Truman Show Delusion, while also wondering why on earth we don’t see more of Laura Linney and Natascha McElhone in leading roles. Rachael offers the team nuggets of trivia mined from her newly acquired second DVD copy of the film and Andy throws down the gauntlet to Richard Herring over the comedian’s assessment that ‘The Truman Show’ is a “good idea, badly and illogically explored”. Elsewhere, Rachael lists her top 5 comic actors who have successfully undertaken serious roles, including Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell and, of course, Robin Williams. “I don’t work for you. I work for the building” This week we’re watching Ben Wheatley’s film adaptation of J.G. Ballard’s supposedly "unfilmable" dystopian thriller ‘High-Rise’ and the team are at odds again, though not about Tom “so handsome it hurts” Hiddleston. With Andy occupying Paul’s usual spot on the fence, Paul wonders how anyone could possibly put themselves through this film more than once, while Rachael advocates reading the original novel as a possible way to unlock the film’s appeal. While Andy compares ‘High-Rise’ to the music of The Fall, Paul experiments with a new way of saying Rachael’s name while Rachael tries to find a point of entry, causing everyone else to look for a point of exit! Despite Paul’s hankering for some politically-inspired vandalism, everything remains fairly harmonious until the subject of ‘No Country for Old Men’ comes up. Elsewhere in two very different features, Rachael takes a dreamy look at the highs and lows of being a Hiddlestoner while Andy plunges headlong into the nightmare world of screen violence. This week’s scale: Soft, delicious mashed potato or 1980s robot-advertised instant mash
Spotted, Andy and Aaron arguing over season 3, episode 9 of The CW’s “Gossip Girl,” entitled “They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They?” HAPPY HALLOWEEN/COTILLION EVERYONE! This week, Dan has a threesome and the universe might be coming to an end as A&A discuss the consequences of carnal desires, the unwritten rules and harsh realities of threesomes, the moronic decisions of Serena and Aaron's OK Cupid "game." While Andy still believes in the good of humanity, a (sober) Aaron is breaking him down, because Tripp is headed toward a scandal and Eric has now become Dirty E. The Upper East Side is forever unclean. But at least it's a fashion award bonanza, with Dark Jenny 2.0 looking like a Queen. XOXO.

Andy Costner says his father, Mark, and his mother, Jenifer, are the inspiration for his Eagle Scout project, a healing garden at Community Regional Cancer Center-North. While Andy’s father was treated for lymphoma at Community last year, Jenifer would spend a lot of time in the waiting room during her husband’s eight hour chemotherapy treatments. Andy saw how his father’s illness affected his mother and realized he could brighten the days of other families who wait while their loved ones receive treatment, by creating a cheerful outdoor space.
