TimEscape. Tim's Cape. It's all about getting high on time. Picard draws a smiley face on an exploding reactor blast, proving that graffiti is the same in the 24th century. Troi, Laforge, Picard and Data attend the most boring /slash/ misogynistic science conference on the fanciest shuttlecraft in the fleet. But everybody keeps kitting the pause /slash/ fast-forward button. The fruit got real moldy and Picard's fingernails grew ten sizes that day. Anomalies abound as the Enterprise is found in mid-space battle with a Romulan warbird. What what what? It's timey-wimey and a ton of fun. No notes. Two Rikers! Holy continuity breakdown! This one is directed by Levar Burton, and doesn't focus so much on the science fiction of meeting your double. Instead, we get a much greater understanding of Troi and Riker's romance before the show even started. It's bold. We get tai-chi over leotard-stretching ladies and cute-sey scavenger hunt ploys from a young Thomas. SpaceTime Series 28 Episode 04Challenging the Existence of Dark EnergyA groundbreaking study from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand is challenging the long-held belief in dark energy, suggesting that the universe's expansion might not require this enigmatic force. The research proposes the "timescape" model, which accounts for variations in cosmic expansion rates by considering differences in gravitational time dilation. This model could potentially resolve some of the universe's biggest mysteries, including the Hubble tension, by suggesting that dark energy is simply a misinterpretation of cosmic conditions.Solar Wind Slowing Beyond PlutoNASA's New Horizons spacecraft has detected a slowdown in the solar wind as it travels beyond Pluto. The data reveals that the solar wind, a stream of charged particles from the Sun, decelerates as it picks up interstellar material. This discovery offers new insights into the heliosphere's outer reaches and the interaction between solar and interstellar forces.Venus's Volcanic PastNew research indicates that Venus's ancient tesserae regions, once thought to be akin to Earth's continental crust, may actually be composed of layered volcanic rocks. This finding, based on radar data from NASA's Magellan mission, challenges previous assumptions and provides fresh perspectives on Venus's geological history.00:00 New observations show the solar wind slowing down beyond Pluto00:27 New study claims dark energy doesn't explain accelerating universe11:27 If the universe has an energy field of the right kind, expansion can accelerate18:22 Some tesserae on Venus have layering consistent with volcanic activity21:07 Scientists have identified a new genetic link to autism spectrum disorder23:51 LG will release a fridge with a transparent OLED door24:58 The flip phone turns 29 on January 3rd, 199626:28 Microsoft have announced their own version of Apple's Mac Mini27:31 Space Time is available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Apple Podcastswww.spacetimewithstuartgary.comwww.bitesz.com

The band performs music from all aspects of his lengthy career and has appeared at major festivals including Hellfest, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Harley Davidson Aquitaine, and Saint Tropez and is the only rock band to play the Moscow Olympic Stadium for the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament. The current lineup of The Chris Slade Timeline features Paul “Bun” Davis on lead vocals, bassist Stevie Gee, guitarist James Cornford, Mike Clarke on keys and guitar and, of course the inimitable Mr. Slade on drums. THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE ANNOUNCE THEIR RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM ‘TIMESCAPE' EXCLUSIVE ZOOM INTERVIEW WITH LEGENDARY DRUMMER CHRIS SLADE Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I'm your host Ray Shasho. Chris Slade started his career at the age of 16 with Tom Jones before he changed his name to Tom Jones. Chris contributed significantly to Jones's world tours and recordings throughout the 60s. Slade was a founding member of Manfred Mann's Earth Band in January 1971. He was to spend seven years with the band, recording eight albums and achieving three UK Top Ten singles in the process: 'Joybringer' (No. 9, October 1973), ‘Blinded By The Light' (No. 6, September 1976 & a multimillion selling #1 in the USA) and ‘Davy's On The Road Again' (No.6, June 1978). After Earthband he spent two years with Uriah Heep, one year with Gary Numan and one year with David Gilmour in 1984. He later teamed up with Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers and bassist Tony Franklin to form The Firm. They produced two excellent albums for Atlantic in 1985 and 1986 that earned them chart and radio hits including 'Radioactive' and 'Satisfaction Guaranteed.' Chris became the drummer of AC/DC over the course of the next five years, playing on their acclaimed 'Razors Edge' Album, and giving a killer performance on their concert DVD “Live from Donington.” After his stint with AC/DC, Chris joined the prog-rock band Asia, Chris recorded with them on their 2000-2004 studio recordings, 'Aura' and 'Silent Nation' , and put forth his trademark energy-filled live performances on all the subsequent tours that ensued over the next five years. Between 2005 and 2010, Slade played drums for German guitarist Michael Schenker before forming THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE in 2012, and at that time marking 50 years as a professional rock drummer. THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE has announced their new album "Timescape" which will be released worldwide on July 19th on BraveWords Records. The double album will be available on digital platforms, CD and possibly as a double vinyl album. Feat: Chris Slade, Bun Davis, Stevie Gee, James Cornford, Michael J Clark • THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE was formed in 2012 with handpicked musicians to celebrate my then 50-year career as a professional rock drummer since starting with Tom Jones at 16 years of age, taking in Manfred Mann, The Firm with Jimmy Page and AC/DC along the way. • We, as The Chris Slade Timeline band have toured UK and Europe extensively playing hits of this lengthy career. After being asked many times if we were going to produce any new original songs of our own, I finally decided to put pen to paper and do something about it, so with the help of my band mates I present TIMESCAPE, our debut album. This album includes a playlist of 9 original songs and a selection of hits from the many artists I have been privileged to perform with over the last 60 years. I hope you enjoy it! “Side one which consists mostly of original material is an eclectic and innovative mix of awe-inspiring hard and heavy progressive rock melodies, the album plays out much like a discerning Rock Opera. On the Scars and Guitars new music show for June 2024, we kick things off with Bruce Dickinson's "Resurrection Men" from The Mandrake Project and then move into Apocalyptica's rendition of "The Call Of Ktulu," featuring Cliff Burton from their album Apocalyptica Plays Metallica, Vol. 2. Ghost brings us "The Future is a Foreign Land" from the soundtrack RITE HERE RITE NOW: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK, followed by Simone Simons with "In Love We Rust" from Vermillion. Michael Schenker's "Mother Mary," featuring Slash and Erik Grönwall, from My Years With UFO, provides a hard-hitting edge, while Cavalera's "From the Past Comes the Storms" from Schizophrenia takes us deeper into the realm of classic extreme metal. Skid Row's live performance of "Slave To The Grind" from Live In London and White Stones' "La Ira" from Memoria Viva, led by Opeth's Martín Méndez, continue to elevate the energy. Zeal & Ardor's "Fend You Off" from GREIF and Korpiklaani's "Harhainen Höyhen" from RANKARUMPU showcase unique and powerful sounds. Athena XIX reunites with front-man Fabio Lione for "The Conscience Of Everything," The Eternal delivers "Deathlike Silence" from Skinwalker, featuring Amorphis members Jan Rechberger and Niclas Etelävuori. We then feature tracks like 96 Bitter Beings' "Tripled Manic State" from "Return to Hellview" and Arka'n Asrafokor's "Walk With Us" from Dzikkuh, blending intense metal with African traditions. Higher Power collaborates with Never Ending Game on "Stillpoint," while Shun presents "Drawing Names" from Dismantle. Qaalm's "First Light of the Last Dawn" from their EP of the same name and another live track from Bruce Dickinson, "Afterglow Of Ragnarok," continue to diversify the playlist. Curse Upon A Prayer's "Black Venus Erotica" from The Worship: Orthoprax Satanism and Eternal Drak's "Haunting Place" from Imprisoned Souls add a darker tone. Nighthämmer's "Land Of Fear," Paradise In Flames' "I Feel The Plague" from Blindness, and Maudissez's "Fracture Par Fracture" maintain the intense atmosphere. Hässlig's "Apex Predator", Ancient Entities' "Pierced by Obsidian" from Echoes of Annihilation, and Bleed From Within's single "Hands of Sin" keep the momentum going. We also have Cabal's "Sort Sommer" featuring FABRÄK, Crypt Crawler's "The Immortal Realm," and Fleshgod Apocalypse's "Bloodclock" from Opera. Obscene's "The Reaper's Blessing" from Agony & Wounds, Octoploid's "Human Amoral" from Beyond The Aeons, and The Black Dahlia Murder's "Aftermath" from Servitude provide more brutal sounds. Morgue Meat's "Lesser Key Of Solomon" from Apocalyptic Visions, Traumatomy's "Womb Of The Desecrated" from Triumph of Enslavement, and Clan dos Mortos Cicatriz's "Flores cortadas, machado na pele" from Débil continue to push the envelope. Nails' "Imposing Will" from Every Bridge Burning, "Cavalera's "Nightmares Of Delirium" from "Schizophrenia," and from Saudi Arabia, Dune bring "Insidious" adding international flair. We wrap up with Exodus' live track "Piranha" from British Disaster: The Battle of '89, Blind Guardian's revisited "The Quest For Tanelorn," Orden Ogan's "The Order Of Fear," Chris Slade's "Back With A Vengeance" from Timescape, and another live performance by Bruce Dickinson with "Abduction" from The Mandrake Project. Enjoy the show!

Over the last month, we've had very little in the way of Berlin School & the more uptempo electronic genre, giving way to a large number of promos heading our way carrying the musical styles of modular, symphonic, neoclassical & diverse selection of ambient sounds. Once again, introducing new exciting artists in many fields, fifteen in total. It's been a while since we played some vintage sounds, from the late 90s into the new decade are two tracks from the group influenced by Kraftwerk, Elektronische-Maschine. To celebrate the music of the first 25 years, Timescape have a series of compilations released with Instrumental vocal and ambient highlights, with a track from their new EP “The Endless Journey” recorded in 2021, opening this edition.
