Dr. Bryan McElderry specializes in using Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to help clients understand they have the capacity to make decisions and take actions to live the life they truly desire and deserve!      How Dr. McElderry blends holistic nutrition with mindset work The importance of targeting the root cause of your issue  What inspired Dr. McElderry to integrate the mindset piece into his coaching    What Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is and how Dr. McElderry teaches to help people take action on their goals   5 Types of Personality Traits Dr. McElderry uses in his mindset and NLP coaching Different suggestions for getting out of your comfort zone  The mindset shift that helped Amber transition from working retail to entrepreneurship The value of taking calculated risks and reframing your definition of success  The power of understanding it’s your decision if life is hard or something you can handle       Dr. Bryan McElderry started his career as a pharmacist and moved into holistic health coaching, which eventually led to holistic life coaching. His goal is to help shift people out of their comfort zones and mindsets into making more purposeful decisions in any area they want to feel more empowered and fulfilled.            Powerful Quotes to Remember: What did you pretend to be when you were growing up?   I don’t believe in cookie-cutter plans for anything. Everything needs to be unique to you for you to get the best results out of it.   A lot of what holds people back is they let that hamster run and end up running on the wheel the whole time and never do anything.   I don’t want to age and then sit there and think “What if this? What if that? What if I would have taken that risk and gone after that dream?”  Take action no matter the outcome, and just be prepared for it.  Connect with Dr. McElderry: www.facebook.com/drbryanmcelderry www.instagram.com/drmcelderry https://www.linkedin.com/in/bryankmcelderry/ www.twitter.com/drmcelderry www.bryanmcelderry.com www.bryanmcelderry.com/shiftmentorship www.envizionhealth.com For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel or awesome Facebook Page!   Looking for a Competition Bikini? She now coaches both men and women on how to make better choices today in order to live happier, healthier lives for years to come.    Powerful Quotes to Remember:   It comes down to creating the right program for the individual rather than basing their programming off whether they’re a guy or a girl.   I find these time where you’re deep, deep in a hole, and there’s gonna be this huge breakthrough for you and you can look back and say ‘I overcame that’.  What you’re doing to your body now will have serious effects on you down the road. Where the real transformation starts is always internal.   Allowing yourself grace and flexibility to find yourself within your fitness journey is really important.  Fit fitness into your life instead of fitting your life into fitness.  Instead of us controlling the numbers, the numbers control us.  Connect with Jordyn: Instagram FB Fitness Page  FB Group "Crave To Be Brave"  For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel or awesome Facebook Page!   Looking for a Competition Bikini? He works to create a safe space and educate others on how to address mental health issues.   Powerful Quotes to Remember: It’s sad how society has made people react to their mental health. It’s a disease and should be treated accordingly. Nobody makes people feel bad for getting cancer.   When people are real with each other, it’s amazing what you can accomplish. We’re not taught how to be there for people even though people WANT to be there for others.    Be present and don’t treat people who suffer differently. Mason Woodruff is the creator of the successful food blog “Comfort Food Without the Calories” who has recently published two cookbooks dedicated to flexible dieting. He joins me today to discuss how his brand identity has evolved and how he’s used Pinterest to boost his business and social media following. Mason understands what it’s like to be the face of a brand and shares valuable insight on how to make solo-preneurship work for you!   Mason’s background and how he grew his following on Instagram The importance of trial and error and finding what works for you Why you should find a balance between taking action and planning The benefits and drawbacks to having a personal brand Why Mason made food his primary focus for his business Tips for using Pinterest to drive more traffic to your Instagram Why Mason chooses to be a one man business   How high expectations can cause more stress than success The value of having only one focus and sticking with it      Mason’s lifelong appreciation for fitness led him to become a dietitian, personal trainer, an online coach, and even a regional sales manager for a gym. After reading tons of business management books and listening to even more business-focused podcasts, Mason decided to take a leap of faith and dedicate 100% of his time and energy to building his business and brand. He truly believes you can have what you want and do it all on your own if you’re willing to put in the work!          Powerful Quotes to Remember: Content you don’t have to click away for is super valuable. Pinterest is a vehicle that drives clients where you want them to go as opposed to another platform you’re trying to build a following on. It’s okay to be a business of one and not want to grow into a massive company. To be unclear is to be unkind.     If you put your goals so far away and make them insurmountable, it’s demotivating—not freeing. It’s better to be focused on the one thing that’s working and do that really, REALLY well.      Connect with Mason: Instagram Facebook group Pinterest Cookbooks For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel or awesome Facebook Page! Thanks for joining another episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I’m venturing into new territory on today’s episode and talking with Braydon Ross about how to use Airbnb to make money. And I’m not talking about a few extra bucks here and there—I’m talking about a viable stream of income that will increase your freedom to pursue what you value, whether it’s traveling or focusing on building your new business!        The difference between renting and reposting vs. managing properties for a cut The benefits of running a property management business through Airbnb Braydon’s future aspirations for becoming the largest host on Airbnb The importance of having a team as an entrepreneur Advice for people trying to grow their business and their team The value of networking in person vs. online   Suggestions for beginners trying to make money on Airbnb How changing your nightly fees and cleaning rates impacts your profits Braydon’s hobbies and outlook on life   Braydon’s first entrepreneurial experience was flipping iPhones and providing health and wellness training in college. After starting a small social media marketing agency and working with Tai Lopez, Braydon shifted his focus to earning income solely through Airbnb. He has since trained over twenty thousand people on how to make a profit using Airbnb and is ready to take his business to the next level while helping others do the same!           Powerful Quotes to Remember: If you’re working every single second, you’re not rich. I believe in health over wealth because money’s useless if you’re dead. You can make a business out of almost any idea if you have the right model. Most people quit when they realize there’s pain in growth—it’s why very few people succeed past 5 years in starting a business. Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! My guest today is Matt Rosenman from CheatDayDesign and I’m honored to host him for his very first podcast interview! I invited Matt on the show because he knows how to combine what he’s good at with what he’s passionate about and it shows up as amazing content. Matt is here to share his journey, how social media has worked for him, and what it’s really like to be an entrepreneur and pursue your passion!            How Matt decided on the name for his Instagram Why Matt focuses on educating others about food and nutrition The importance of understanding diets impact everyone differently      How Matt approaches his own eating habits and dieting Why it’s important to understand what nutrition your body needs How CheatDayDesign gained more followers and evolved into a brand The benefits of networking and providing value on social media    The value of figuring out how to combine your passion with your talent The reality of entrepreneurship and creating success for yourself    Why you should prioritize what you love and do what makes you happy   After trying diet after diet, understanding nutrition eventually became easier for Matt, but he realized it’s not as simple for others. He decided to educate others by combining his passion for nutrition and fitness with his talent in graphic design and began creating and sharing nutrition-based infographics on Instagram. He loves providing value for others and believes the sacrifices and dedication his work requires are worth being his own boss!     Powerful Quotes to Remember: People think they need to try diets which might work really well for others, but you don’t need to follow that path—you need to make your own. When it comes to eating intuitively, if you’re still hungry, you’re not eating enough. People look for a secret sauce or special template but it’s as simple as showing up every day, working hard, and providing value.      It comes down to engagement on social media. Look deeper than the likes when you’re trying to make an impact or grow your own business. You might have a crazy idea, but there’s a market for it! He understands what’s required to be a successful coach online and in person as well as what it takes to be the Chief Operating Officer and the brains behind a business! He’s definitely an entrepreneur worth listening to as he shares his journey and vision for his different business ventures.          How Chris got started in fitness and established a successful gym The importance of having a clear mission and sticking with it How Chris transitioned from personal coaching to an online business The power of leading with value and sharing your expertise with others   Why Chris includes athletes of all kinds in his training program How Chris handles the challenges of online coaching How Chris manages being the COO and CEO of different companies The value of having scalable systems and processes in place The challenges of transitioning from being a solopreneur to a growing company Chris’ long term vision for the future and advice for entrepreneurs            Chris has an extensive background in the fitness industry both as a college athlete and a personal trainer. After college, he and his partner opened a gym that grew from one location in Florida to over 20 gyms worldwide! The quick wins are gratifying but it’s the long game plays that set you up so you’re not a one hit wonder or easily forgettable. I’m okay with telling people I don’t know and helping them find the support they need.   Online coaches need to focus on the value that’s included in their program and outcome they’re trying to achieve within their business.     I take 100% ownership in the business even though I only earn a set percentage. Steve Sims joins me on the show today for a blunt conversation about not being scared to take action and what it means to be authentic in a world filled with bs. Steve’s background and why he started Bluefish Why asking questions is scary and how to overcome “No Phobia” How to ask questions to get the answers what you want The power of taking action instead of giving into fear      The impact of artificial intelligence on face to face communication What it really means to be vulnerable and authentic   The difference between an entrepreneur and an intrapreneur The value of doubling down on your strengths   Steve Sims is known for saying what’s on his mind without holding back. He proudly acknowledges “he’s just a guy that spends rich people’s money” and knows how to get answers to the most incredible questions most people are scared to ask. He understands the value of just going for what you want most in life while keeping it real when it comes to success and failure!        Powerful Quotes to Remember: People are scared to ask questions because they’re scared of the no. People don’t know how to ask for what they want. Thanks for joining another episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! Today’s episode is all about CHANGE. For most people, the uncertainty that comes with change can be unsettling and scary. Kate Schutt is a change coach and she’s here today to share some valuable insight that makes change a little less daunting and explains how to face changes in your life head on, whether you feel 100% ready or not!       Why Kate calls herself a change coach instead of a life coach Common roadblocks people experience that prevent change from happening   Ways to find flexibility and work with the change that’s already working     How Kate processed her biggest change involving the loss of her mother Why you should encourage yourself to be a beginner and not compare yourself to others How to manage change by learning new things and chunking it into smaller steps The importance of letting go of self-limiting beliefs and negativity     Kate Schutt understands what it means to play hard, work hard, and overcome changes that are hard. After being a division one athlete in college, she made a natural transition from athlete to change coach when she realized how much she enjoys helping others. As someone who has experienced a significant loss in her life, she understands change can be difficult but believes it’s possible for everyone. She works to show others where change is working for them and how to use it to create even more change in their lives!       Powerful Quotes to Remember: Look for where change is already easy in your life and bring it over to the area where change is blocked. If you don’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of anybody else. Life IS change; nothing stays the same. If you can get through another day, the next day will be one more day you’re closer to something being different.     Don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone’s Chapter 20. Have a beginner’s mindset. Business is transforming from B2B to H2H. Human to human and heart to heart. The more a business acts less like a company and more like a living organism, the more people feel a sense of deeper connection and deeper meaning. As humans, we are malleable. Thanks for joining another episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! Take a minute and think about the brands you’re most familiar with like Apple or Coca Cola. When you think of Coke, you obviously don’t know the CEO, but you do know the product. You know what the can looks like and what it tastes like. The same idea can be applied to building your own business. Not everyone will know you from day one, so it’s important to put yourself out there and let people get to know you. And I don’t mean fake-everything-is-perfect-you. I mean the person who works hard, acknowledges failure and is ready to help people get the results they want. The importance of “know, like, and trust” and building omnipresence within all of your platforms The value of building relationships and connections with clients before you try to sell anything The benefit of acknowledging and referring clients that aren’t a good fit Why you need the right mindset as you approach each opportunity The power of believing in yourself and building confidence others trust The importance of helping clients visualize their journey with you When people look for a health or fitness coach, they don’t hire just anyone. They look for coaches they resonate with on a human level and someone they will actually enjoy being around. Do you want to work with someone that doesn’t want to work with you? It’s a two-way street and the easiest way to walk down it is to know your ideal client and show up for them 100%.   Powerful Quotes to Remember: Build your relationships first. Connection is a currency. Grade your clients. Start cycling out the C clients and focus on clients that WANT to work with you. Entrepreneurship takes work to be successful. How you view the “work” is up to you. Don’t be a self-sabotager and cause you to be the reason people aren’t buying your sh*t. There are people who are meant to work with you. Those are the people you should be serving and helping. There is a big difference between confidence and arrogance. Know within yourself that you can do this and others will feel it, too.   Work to support people, not sell them. His knowledge of the fitness industry is as impressive as his many accomplishments, and I’m excited for him to share this valuable information with all of you!     Brandon’s reason for business coaching How Brandon is able to work with a wide variety of clients The drawbacks of starting multiple businesses    The qualities and characteristics to look for in a team Brandon’s journey of earning money illegally to earning money legally The importance of keeping a calendar and allocating your time appropriately The value of actually being present in the present moment                 Although Brandon Carter enjoys success now, his journey to the top was far from smooth. Hailing from a rough neighborhood of Chicago’s south side, he was sent to military school after getting in trouble as a young teen. He found refuge in training and returned to Chicago expecting more trouble but instead was able to share his knowledge with others. Besides personal training, Brandon had a talent for the drums, keyboard, and making music. He had a short-lived stint as a recording artist and music producer as part of the Sony label, but was dropped after a merger with BMG. Dejected and unsure of what to do next, Brandon turned to selling drugs. Eventually, he was scouted by a modeling agency in New York but stayed mixed up with drugs. It was not until losing friends to murder and prison and even losing his own father to suicide that Brandon decided to walk away from drug dealing. He now makes an honest living helping others make sustainable changes to either their health or business.      Powerful Quotes to Remember: It’s hard to take someone who’s already good to great, but anyone who does the work is going to get results they want.   I’ve made every mistake. I’m able to show both my successes and my losses to my students.   The man who chases two rabbits doesn’t get either one. 1400 people die a day from obesity-related health issues. We have the opportunity to help change that. Learn from someone who has already been through it. Get advice from them and listen! Sometimes you have to be humble enough to go to the back and let others take charge. Every week has 168 hours. 56 hours for sleep and 56 hours for work. What are you doing with the other 56 hours?   Nobody gets the best of you when your attention is divided. Be present in the moment. Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I have an awesome guest for today’s episode. Alyssa Flores is a fellow teammate and competitor, better known as “Dumbbells and Doughnuts” on Instagram. She truly understands the mindset required to survive in the world of competitive bodybuilding. Alyssa has an incredible history of determination and successful weight loss; she dropped over 80 pounds just to compete on stage! Today, she shares tips and tricks on how to face struggles head on and how to keep a positive attitude of self-worth and self-love.    The impact of social pressure Long term vs. immediate results The power of open communication with yourself and others Why it’s okay to lean on others for support and tough love The realities of experiencing “mental fog” How a proactive approach can help you achieve your goals The value of authenticity and sharing your struggles The meaning of “Dumbbells N Doughnuts” How to handle judgemental feedback and not compare yourself to others             Alyssa’s inspiring physical and mental transformation took years and is something she still works on every day. She shares her journey into the fitness world and the challenges she faced along the way before she ever stepped on stage. Alyssa discusses the negative influence social pressure can have on your self-image and the power of being open and honest with yourself wherever you are in your journey.    Powerful Quotes to Remember: It’s not just about the stage; it’s about a long lifestyle and mindshift that’s going to keep your health in check. It’s okay to lean on others and ask for help when you need it. Sometimes you need people in your life to give you the help and the reality check you need. Every part of your journey deserves to be heard. If you don’t share all of it, how can anyone know that they can do it, too? Just because you’re in a different place now, doesn’t mean you can’t love who you were when you started. Being judged for 30-60 seconds does not dictate who you are. It should not control your emotions moving forward. Whether or not you have to work 10 times harder than others is completely irrelevant. Know what YOU have to do and work as hard as YOU can. Allowing yourself to feel emotions helps you get through them and let them go.     Alyssa Flores Instagram Dumbbells N Doughnuts For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! Today, I talk with IFBB Pro Eren Legend, who is a friend of mine and a legend in Toronto who wears about 13 different hats. Eren does it all; he’s a celebrity fitness coach that models, acts, speaks, writes, and more! He knows what it’s like to hustle and struggle, and he understands the power of networking and how to build a community around your brand and business. I’m excited to share this episode with you because Eren has a lot of valuable information and amazing business advice for those trying to make it in the entrepreneur world. Having an online presence vs. in person presence Creating relationships from networking events   Avoiding entitlement and “get rich quick” courses Creating a culture of positive influence and empowerment The power of believing in yourself and sharing your story with others Understanding failures happen and using them to teach others Time management and finding what works for you The importance of using your voice The value of understanding your audience   Eren discusses his journey to become an entrepreneur and the sacrifices he made to maximize his potential and pursue his goal. He shares the challenges of moving to a new city and how he worked to overcome them and re-establish himself. Eren also talks about his successes and failures and how he uses both to share his story and relate to others in a more real way.   Powerful Quotes to Remember: You don’t want to depend on the unknown. Put yourself in a place of opportunity. If you pursue things you’re passionate about and put in the work, things will work out for you. Share your story. Tell people this is who I am, this is what I believe in, this is what I’m doing. It lets people know they’re not alone. For every one success someone has, there’s probably about ten or so failures you don’t see. You have to be happy about the things that ARE in your life. Don’t dwell in the things that AREN’T. The depths of your struggles determines the heights of your success. Know that you’re a catalyst for others, but respect the idea it’s not about you. Lead by example. It’s more powerful when you look the part. When you live the part. When you are the part.       Eren Legend’s Instagram   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel.   For all your supplement needs make sure to browse Tiger Fitness because you're more than just a number here!

Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! Today, I have with me someone who has been on the podcast before, but not in this type of way. I have with me my husband Deni, and he’s been on the podcast before talking about stuff to do with our lives. But today I’m switching it up and talking about what he has going on in his life and how he makes his income, which is through day trading. Since I am trying to take the podcast in more of a personal development and entrepreneurial path, I thought this would be a really great episode for you guys. It shows another way that you can become an entrepreneur in your own right and create an income for yourself that isn’t based on a typical 9-5. As I always say, I’m not hating on anyone who chooses the 9-5 route, but I am a strong supporter and advocate of entrepreneurial adventures. I want to highlight different ways for you to explore creating an income for yourselves and being your own boss!        What inspired Deni to get into day trading Basics of stock trading Investing vs. trading The value of penny stocks Key mistakes to avoid when day trading Tips for day trading successfully Patterns of day trading Resources for day trading Advice for how to handle losses and to keep going       Deni shares why he chose to pursue day trading and the benefits it has brought to his life. He explains how to generate income as a day trader and the work required to be your own boss. Deni also discusses mistakes he has made as a day trader in order to help you avoid doing the same thing. He clarifies how and why you should avoid “revenge trading” and to know when you should cut your losses and step away. For those interested in day trading, Deni stresses the importance of researching, practicing with paper stocks, and understanding the psychology of trading.    Powerful Quotes to Remember: As an entrepreneur, the more work you put in, the more you’ll get out. That’s not always typical of a 9-5 job. Don’t chase a stock or hold onto a stock for too long. Cut your losses. If you’re down, you’re down; get out and move on to the next one. If you’re trading out of pure emotion, you’re going to lose money. You’re not going to know how to invest your money unless you invest in learning. Paper trade until you know you can be profitable. At the end of the day it becomes about winning more than you lose. The most important thing is knowing how much you’re willing and able to risk.       Mentions: Deni Hadziabdic on StockTwits Adam Khoo’s YouTube Robinhood Webull "Think and Grow Rich and other key reads for new Day Traders" Discord Discord Stock Market Chat Live   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I have an extra special episode for you today! Today is my birthday and I’m super excited for you guys to hear the 5 life lessons that you DON’T want to hear but that you NEED to know. I’m going to share these life lessons with you and then correlate them to either an example in business, in fitness, or in relationships, because I feel everyone can stand to learn how they can apply these life lessons to their own individual personal lives and the relationships that they have with friends, family, and significant others. Fitness is always going to be close to my heart and it’s definitely a personal passion of mine, but business is my main focus in terms of my clear path and my business consulting. I want to make sure I’m paralleling these lessons in different verticals so you can take value from whichever life lesson applies to you in this moment, in this season of your life, and take away a key actionable item that you can work on through these lessons that I’m sharing!    Lesson #1: If it seems to be good to be true, it probably is   Understanding typical/worst results vs. top student/outlier results In business or relationships, keep an eye out for red flags and follow your intuition Lesson #2: It doesn’t have to be hard, but it shouldn’t be easy. You shouldn’t hate what you’re doing, but you should have to put forth effort to get the results you want. Relationships should not be forced or hard, but they do require daily effort Lesson #3: You’re going to experience loss. Importance of knowing progress will always go up and down Focus on your goal and what you can fix and what you can control Lesson #4: There is no such thing as being “self-made”. Recognizing that support is not a bad thing Lesson #5: You can’t help everybody, and you shouldn’t try to.     Understand that people can only receive support if they’re open and willing to receive it    Focusing on impact vs. income   Powerful Quotes to Remember: Do your due diligence and research before making any investments. Take calculated risks and educated decisions.       You should never stop putting effort into something you truly love doing or that you truly want. It doesn’t have to be hard to effective. You can operate from a place of flow instead of a hustle and grind. If it’s not enjoyable, why are you doing it? There’s no such thing as linear progression; there are peaks and valleys. Don’t get caught up in the valleys of loss, so you can keep going and reach a higher peak. Get of your high horse. Recognize and appreciate the support you have and amplify it. If you’re trying to play the long game in your business, know that you cannot help everyone.   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. I’m really excited about all of the value Adam discusses today. It’s a great episode and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!! Bodybuilding vs. Powerlifting The subjectivity of bodybuilding and popularity of bikini competition Building a brand on Instagram Understanding that credibility and success is based on your customer’s experience Importance of knowing how to communicate in different ways Creating a safe space and supporting a positive mindset Ways to grab a client’s attention while being transparent How different body types have different metabolic needs The necessity of knowing and building relationships with clients How to create longevity in the sport of bodybuilding Value of having a coach for your competition Why being selective about clients helps build your business Importance of being willing to evolve   The beauty of independent coaching vs. corporate coaching Difference between using and not using social media as a coach   Adam shares his story and how he got started in the fitness coaching business. He’s been coaching since 2002, began contest prep coaching in 2009, but didn’t join the Instagram coaching world until 2011. He explains why he enjoys the bodybuilding world and how each competitor has a unique story or something beautiful to share with others. Adam discusses his perspective of bodybuilding, the excitement of being at competitions, and his passion for coaching and mentoring others.            Powerful Quotes to Remember: It’s not really about getting paid. It’s about the experience of being there. A lot of my credibility and my success speaks to my clients being happy with their service and telling their friends to join. Why hire a coach that you think is to busy to help you?      I don’t have a method. I have what works best for you. Do what’s best for your client versus what’s best for the bottom line. Today I have with me Tanner Chidester, a “fit pro”, who has successfully built his online fitness coaching business to well over six figures in under a year. He has an amazing strategy for business that he’s going to share with us today! He talks deep about business best practices, mistakes that he’s made in business, networking, and more. If you are a fit pro and you’re listening, this episode is going to be highly applicable to you, and I hope you enjoy the value that Tanner shares with us today! Importance of sales and marketing for an online business Value of validating your offer, getting more leads, and more sales Impact of a premium service, one-to-one coaching offer Power of Social media, lead flow, and building a following Working with fitness coaches vs. working with business coaches Mistakes Tanner has made as a fit pro Not trusting yourself, fear of failure, fear of success What retention means for your business Importance of networking and building relationships with successful coaches Bringing value vs. taking value Owning who you are and having integrity     Tanner shares his background and what inspired him to get into online fitness coaching. Tanner explains how he struggled to get his business going for the first two years and then he found a method that worked best for him. He now claims to be a marketer who does fitness. Some people know the fitness game but they don’t understand the market or how to do sales. Tanner stresses the value of knowing what the market wants and validating your offer. He explains that he has found more happiness and success in coaching when his focus is more about impact and integrity than income.     Powerful Quotes to Remember: The biggest mistake entrepreneurs make is trying to sell something before even knowing if the market wants it. People work with coaches who have a seven figure business, but it’s a seven figure business of signing people up trying to make money. But have they ever made money in fitness before? The easiest way to get what you want and where you want to be is to work with someone who has been through it and who has been successful. If it’s all about the money, you’re never going to be happy because you can always make more. If you want to have business for the long term, you must operate with integrity 100%. If you burn bridges you’ll be alone on the island. Sales and marketing will drive your business, but delivery will sustain it long term.       Tanner’s Instagram Tanner’s Facebook Tanner Chidester’s Website   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel.   For all your supplement needs make sure to browse Tiger Fitness because you're more than just a number here!

Definitely a really great episode and I can’t wait for you guys to listen!!    Being okay with not knowing what you want to do The power of patience and good intent Allowing your passion to evolve as you evolve Having fun and creating happiness with your work Creating content that has immediate, practical application Power of repeating or reposting helpful content Value of authenticity and vulnerability Impact of integrating yourself and interests into your content   Jordan shares his background in fitness coaching and how even though he’s been fortunate in knowing what his passion is, it doesn’t always mean it’s easy to do what you want to do. He stresses the importance of working hard, doing the right thing, and creating content that helps people.           Powerful Quotes to Remember: Working hard and doing the right thing is the key to being fulfilled. Keep going even when you don’t want to. Consistency is what is going to get you long term results. People are looking at your posts to figure out what they can get out of it for themselves. If you’re just putting out content for the likes, it’s never going to internalize the way it will if you’re providing value for others.   Social media should be about exchanging value.       @SyattFtiness The Inner Circle Unicorn Magic Coffee For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel.   For all your supplement needs make sure to browse Tiger Fitness because you're more than just a number here!

EP33: How to Handle Competition in Business

Play Episode Listen Later Oct 2, 2018 27:47

Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! We’re going to get into the topic of competition in business. This is applicable whether you’re in a B2B business or a B2C business. B2B businesses sell to other businesses like marketing agencies or coaches for coaches, whereas B2C business involves direct consumer marketing. There are two things about competition that we want to understand today. First, competition is healthy. Also, competition is relative.    Four Reasons Competition is Healthy and a GOOD THING 1-Influences your industry and yourself to constantly grow and improve 2-Benefits your client because everyone tries to uplevel their product 3-Shows the need in your market 4-Prevents you from being the “first to market” and having to educate your market    How competition influences buying decisions Serving your client vs. serving yourself Importance of operating from a place of integrity Why you should focus on your unique methodology How to gracefully discuss competing offers among peers or potential clients   Ultimately, you can look at it as competition, but realistically, people are going to have their own reasons for purchasing from you or not. While you should still always strive to improve your business, there needs to be that understanding that obsessing over what the other person is doing holds no bar because if your product is unique and it works, and it helps people —people are going to resonate with you and your marketing and what you’re offering above what someone else is offering if it suits their needs better. How well can you resonate with your audience? How does your unique product solve their unique problem? Don’t obsess about what others are doing. Focus on your business and highlighting why what you offer is AWESOME.               Powerful Quotes to Remember: People that resonate with your product are the ones who are more likely to buy from you. You’re never going to be able to do the same thing someone else is doing better than they are, but you can do your own thing and do it really, really well. If you’re doing something unique, you don’t really have competition, because no one else is doing what you do they way you do it. Keep your integrity around the uniqueness and individuality of your business. Worry about making what you do the best. The less you’re focused on your business, the less successful it’s going to be. Focus on what’s important: Your business, your delivery, your clients.   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome to today’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I brought Deni back on to the show to do an episode that was highly requested. We’re going to be talking about quitting your day job to pursue your passion. I got an overwhelming amount of amazing feedback asking if we’d record an episode about this, so let’s jump right on into it!  Why you shouldn’t base your life around fear Calculated risks and researching viable options for income How you can’t just Google all the resources you need as a business owner Understanding the value of investing in yourself Ways to earn income as an entrepreneur Realistic perspective of pursuing your passion Importance of having a support system and mentors How much time and hard work is required Being okay with not knowing what you’re passion is yet Pursuing your passion vs. your preference Impact of surrounding yourself with like-minded people Focusing on your pay vs. salary pay Common fears about leaving your job Being okay with taking risks   Deni discusses what feelings he had around when he first made the move and decided he wanted to quit his job and go into doing day trading. Deni talks about how he familiarized himself with day trading and the timeline he followed when he quit his fulltime job. As we talk, Deni and I both share just how much work is actually required if you’re going to pursue something you love. It’s not about if you have a lucky circumstance, or come from a good family, or having the stars align that allows you to make a move and jump into something you want to do. You have to invest in yourself. You have to put in the time to learn, and keep learning, keep learning, keep learning—to get better and better and BETTER! It’s okay to be scared to make the transition and pursue your passion, but don’t let fear hold you back from doing what you love! Powerful Quotes to Remember: When you decide to pursue your dream job, do the research and invest in yourself and make sure you’re knowledgeable and have the tools available. When you pursue something you’re passionate about, you don’t look at it as work. You view it as something that’s going to enhance you and learn more about what you love. Working from home or having your own business has nothing to do with luck. It’s about hard work. You have to be willing to put in the extra work. Knowing that you’re not just working for the weekend or for a vacation is a much better place to operate from.   It’s okay to be in a place where all you know is that you want to do something on your own. When you truly are your own boss, you really get to pick the people you have in your life. Surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals and mentors will only propel your forward in your goals. It’s better to try and fail than to live a life of what-ifs. If you have no plan, and are not passionate about it, and look at quitting your job just as a way to escape a 9-5 job, it’s not going to work.   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. I wanted to take a quick moment and let you know that I’m so grateful for the fact that you are supporting the show and enjoying the content, and really just allowing myself and the guests I’m bringing on the ability to bore your ear for an hour a week, and provide value. Value that I hope helps you in moving forward in your own lives and gives you a valuable takeaway everytime you listen to an episode. Thank you so much; I’m really excited about this month and the guests I have coming up. For today’s topic, I want to talk about making investments that make you uncomfortable. A lot of people get weird about the whole money issue and It can be really scary sometimes, but I recommend investing in yourself. I want to share my own experiences and what I’ve learned, and why I think it’s important to make investments in yourself that make you uncomfortable!   Pushing forward and creating space to grow High tickets vs. low ticket investments What it means to be invested Investigate your investment Investing with intention, not emotion Questions to ask about your investment Understanding strategy sessions and sales pitches Four figure investments Deciding whether or not to use credit or loans for investments Benefits of investing in yourself   As an entrepreneur, investing in myself and my business is definitely something that helps to push me forward. If you drop a high number of dollars for a program, you’re going to make sure that it works for you. Higher ticket programs help motivate you because you want to make the most of the money that you spend. Be ready to make the program work for you and work the program because you can’t just expect it to solve all of your problems. You have to do your due diligence and understand what the investment looks like by asking questions from an analytical perspective instead of just how it makes you feel. What you gain from investing in yourself is priceless. Remember there’s no such thing as a bad investment; look at it as a win or a learn. Just be sure to invest with intention and research.          Powerful Quotes to Remember: When you get comfortable with life, you get complacent. Look for ways to push yourself to move forward and grow. The people who pay, pay attention. You’re going to want the ROI or to hit your goal.   Making an investment doesn’t automatically make a result. It requires work. Take ownership and ask the right questions before you invest your money. Do your research. Invest in a program that is going to work for you, where you’re at, and for what you want to accomplish. Never invest if you are depending on the ROI to pay off the program you are investing in.       For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I interviewed Nick Tillia, who is a mindset coach and online business badass! He’s helped tons of entrepreneurs scale their businesses to levels they didn’t even think were imaginable, and he does it all through mindset work. It may seem a little odd at first, but honestly have a listen to Nick. Everything he says is so wise and so valuable. I have nothing but amazing things to say about him, and I’ve seen him help people scale their businesses. It’s a valuable episode that every entrepreneur should be listening to from front to end!   Online presence vs. In-person presence Tangible vs. intangible results of mindset work What it means to have a strong inner game   Moving past mindset blocks in business   Coaching successes and frustrations Strategies vs. mindset Impact of the Laws of Energy Purpose workshop Elevate Program      Nick discusses what mindset work involves and how he uses it to support people through their own personal development. He explains how mindset can show up in all aspects of his our lives, not just at the gym or at work. He truly believes mindset can help you show up powerfully and benefit all the people you’re meant to serve. Nick’s focus on personal purpose and building a strong foundation from the inside out is why he is able to help others find crazy, unbelievable results!      Powerful Quotes to Remember: It is a different energy and belief that begins to move you beyond what was once a barrier. Operating from the inside out improves every aspect of your life. Ease and flow over grind and hustle is more fun and you get to celebrate more.    Your inner game will create the outer game that will either create success or sabotage. Create such a foundation that strategy doesn’t matter; you will be so magnetic to what you want and the people you want to serve. If you’re meant to live a purpose, there’s a way to monetize it and be rewarded for doing so.       Nick’s Instagram @NickTillia Nick’s Website Facebook For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. EP27: IFBB Bikini Pro Lauren Dannenmiller - Building Muscle, Mindset and Longevity in the Competing Scene

Welcome to this week’s episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I brought on another fellow Angel Competition Bikinis athlete this week. Her name is Lauren Dannenmiller. If you’re not familiar with Lauren, she was actually the overall bikini champion from Miami Nationals last year. She’s an IFBB Pro with a ton of experience, and a great outlook on competing that I personally admire and feel is really going to set her up for longevity within this sport. If you’re a competitor or are just interested in learning more about the competitive bodybuilding scene, definitely take some time to listen to this week’s episode. You will not regret it! Lauren’s background in competitive sports and gym training. Preparation for national stage: time, patience, mental health. Knowing the challenges of transitioning to off season.   Understand what this lifestyle requires; stage lean vs. everyday lean.   Willpower, motivation, and the power of a coach who can teach you about your body. Meal plans, longevity, flexible dieting approach Planning for the long haul, not just short preps Lauren takes time to explain how she first got started in competing and just how many shows she did before she did her first national show. She discusses the importance of taking time off to improve both your physique and your mental health, especially if you want that Pro Card. Lauren reminds everyone competition takes the right mindset, hard work, patience, and how you can carry it into all areas of your life. I loved today’s talk and think she gives a ton of really great advice and a good setup for people’s mindset for what they need to have in order to have longevity in this sport. Powerful Quotes to Remember: Those that want the Pro Card: Slow down. Be patient. Everything you do matters. Know why you’re doing what you’re doing.   Greatness requires a level of unbalance and over-dedicating yourself. Go see a show and understand what competitors really look like! Your coach should also be your teacher. Be prepared to be let down and then keep going!     Lauren’s Instagram @LaurenDannemiller Lauren & Kyle’s YouTube Video explaining the difference between regional and national shows:    Lauren Dannemiller For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome back for another episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! Last time when I brought on Deni, it was such a successful episode and I got a ton of good feedback from you, so much so that I decided to bring him on again for another episode. I think he’d be able to provide a ton of value and a good, contrasting insight into what it’s like dating somebody who’s competing and how you balance having a relationship while prepping for a show. Deni’s experiences in dealing with someone who’s in prep.       Honest perspective about on-diet vs. non-diet, cut vs. bulk.    Accommodating schedules to make time together more meaningful.       Dedication to NPC lifestyle is no different than dedication to other lifestyles.    Both people in the relationship must have individual goals. Keep an open mind and be supportive. Be aware sex drive will be impacted by prep/competition.   Have fun on show day!        As Deni talks with me today, he gives a clear perspective on how to balance personal relationships in the world of NPC competition. My episode with Deni covers what you should expect when your partner is prepping for a show, ways to manage your schedules when they don’t match up, tips for creating a supportive, healthy relationship, and how to best show up on show day. This episode shares really useful information to help create a balance between your love life and your passion!   Powerful Quotes to Remember: Think about breaking points. If the relationship is based on always spending time together, pursue something for yourself. Both individuals need their own personal goals.   Remember it is your choice whether or not to compete; don’t guilt your partner for their actions while you’re prepping and they aren’t. Be willing to embrace your partner’s choice to compete. Be happy, supportive, and understanding. Understand both people’s perspective and keep an open mind. Your relationship is a two-way street, and it takes compromise from both people. For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome back to another great episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! Today I’ve got a special guest, Liz Morgan AKA The Halo Top Queen, on the show to discuss the ins and outs of fitness shows - from local to national and everything in between.   Liz’s fitness and competition journey - from getting started to national level competitions.      Realistic look at how much work goes behind all shows, especially a national level competition.    Setting realistic fitness goals, competition ready is not healthy long term.       Stepping away from negative thoughts - staying positive for yourself.     Navigating sponsorships. Being consistent, in all things.           Today Liz really opens up with me, and we really get into the nitty gritty of competitive fitness and fitness overall. From what you should expect when prepping for a show, handling the disappointment of not placing, keeping realistic goals for yourself, to navigating the world of sponsorships - this episode has a little bit of everything and tons of great information when it comes to the competitive fitness scene! Powerful Quotes to Remember: The fact that you’re saying you’ll never do it - is the exact reason why you should do it.   You can still be fit, happy, sexy, and content without competing. It’s not a requirement of fitness to participate in shows, that’s a whole other passion in itself.   It is not healthy or realistic to think that you will be show ready all year long - that’s not the case.     Happiness should always be your compass in life.    Enjoy and love competing, don’t just focus on the win or get yourself down if you don’t place every single time.      Liz’s Instagram @thehalotopqueen   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel.   For all your supplement needs make sure to browse Tiger Fitness because you're more than just a number here!

EP24: My Top 3 Don't Dos When Falling Off Track

Play Episode Listen Later Jul 31, 2018 34:47

Welcome back to another great episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! I’ve got another solo episode for you today, and I am excited to share it with you. We all get off track, and sometimes stall or even go backwards in progress towards a goal - but I’ve got some tips to help get you back on track. I hope that some of this resonates with you and gives you an idea of what not to do when you realize you’ve fallen off track. Three things to avoid when you feel like you’re falling off track.      Remember why you started this fitness goal to begin with.   These tips can be applied to other, non-fitness areas of your life and goals.      Refocus and recenter on your goals.    Creating positivity.          First - don’t give up! I know it can be easy to feel like once you’re off that track you’ll never be able to get back on it. But that is not true, you have the control to start back on your fitness journey again.  Second - don’t panic! This goes for both mentally and physically. Sure you might be a further away from your fitness goal, but don’t let that mentally deter you from taking the necessary steps to get back at it. Also, don’t panic or stress out your body physically - level out before you make too many changes. I suggest going back to your most recent maintenance and then make any tweaks and changes from there. Third - don’t hate yourself into consistency or success. Stay positive with yourself, and don’t beat yourself up over it. Otherwise you could force yourself to fall out of love with something that you were really passionate about. Powerful Quotes to Remember: Don’t give up! There was a reason why you started doing this in the first place and making a lifestyle change. Don’t forget that why.   Everybody takes steps backwards in life, it’s part of personal growth.   You can take as many steps backwards as you’d like, you are in control to do so. You need to remember however many steps you take backwards you’ll have to take all those steps forward again plus one in order to get ahead.    It doesn’t serve you to continue to spiral downwards.   Instead of telling yourself you won’t be good enough, tell yourself you’ll be better. Have a positive outlook on yourself.     For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. EP23: Finding Love on Instagram

Welcome back for another episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio - this is going to be a very special episode and I am so excited to share it with you! Today I invited my husband, Deni on the show, to help tell the story of how we met and eventually found love on Instagram.   Amber and Deni share their story, how they met and developed a relationship on Instagram.      Noticing people who like your content, not just your photos or looks.   Not settling in a relationship, finding what you want and need.     Tips for starting a relationship with someone online.    Not being afraid of change when it does happen, it can be the best thing you’ll ever experience.        Deni and I give you a look into our relationship and marriage, and how we found love online. Relationships are already complicated, and navigating through starting a relationship through a social media platform can be ever harder. But it can also be very rewarding and lead to a wonderful relationship. Together, we discuss how we met, how we build a solid friendship and foundation before jumping into the physical realm, making the commitment to marriage and each other, and just how important it is to know and love yourself first and foremost. Powerful Quotes to Remember: I could never picture myself being with someone that I can’t even hold a conversation with. It is important to build the connection more than just something physical. Having that distance between us originally, allowed us to build a real connection instead of a false one based on the fear of not wanting to be alone.   Don’t look for a relationship, focus on you and do your own thing and good things will follow. Don’t be looking for relationships, but don’t settle either. Nobody is perfect, it’s about finding who is perfect for you. That’s by knowing yourself, being okay alone, and decide what you need.   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel. Welcome back for another solo episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio. Thank you for joining me once again! This episode really truly comes from the heart, and I hope that you gain as much value from this message as I did. I am going to talk about something that can be absolutely terrifying, but is also necessary to grow. Today is all about facing change, dealing with change, and letting change take you to whole new levels. Change - facing it and the fear of it.     Allowing change to help you to grow.   Do not fear change or taking risks.      There is always room for things to get better and change in beautiful ways.   Knowing when to make the move towards change.           Change is inevitable, if you aren’t willing to embrace change yourself then it will force its way onto you. Sometimes the changes life throws at us are great and beautiful, but sometimes it totally sucks. Either way, change is going to happen in your life; you might as well embrace it and see where it takes you. Being able to embrace change overall can help you to notice and seize the great opportunity that change can bring. Every single moment counts, so make the most of the time that you have. Always be following your passion and dreams and embraces the changes along the way. You are the company that you keep - evaluate the people around you and let go of the ones who are not right for that season of your life. It’s not always the right thing to keep people in your life if it isn’t the right thing for both of you. So ask yourself,  who is adding value to your life and are you adding value to theirs? Don’t be afraid to cut ties with someone who is toxic or providing negative energy in your life at that time - protect your energy and space while you are following your own dreams and passions. Powerful Quotes to Remember: “Change is one of the most difficult things we face, but change is inevitable.” - Hopsin “You have to stay open to what the universe is doing now, what worked five years ago isn’t going to work now.” - Hopsin “If you’re going to be successful, you have to be willing to change.” - Hopsin Change can bring about some really beautiful things.   We do not get a refund or an exchange on time, so there should not be a moment in life that you aren’t living it to the fullest potential about the things you are passionate about. “The day that your eyes close, if you are able to count your true friends on one hand, you will be lucky. And if you can fill that hand you will be blessed.”   For more information about Amber Morningstar follow her on Instagram, click here, or check out her YouTube Channel.
