In episode 47 the Triple Vision team speaks with Sharlyn Ayotte, the Founder of T-Base Communications, now Allyant. We talk to her on the day of her retirement when she looks back on her long and pioneering career as an entrepreneur who pushed the boundaries on accessibility and universal design. As T-base the company was responsible for the Info touch system which delivered real time information to Canadians in multiple and alternative formats, as well as developed North America's first audio banking machine. I had learned some things during that whole process. I spent probably a good year on investigating how the Government of Canada made information available to citizens and constituents of the country on matters that were really important to us. Whether it was election information or it was health based or whatever it happened to be. Since we were depending so much on computer technology to help us through the process, and its all digital, why couldn't they just support digital for other formats such as digital audio, digital braille, digital large print and all of those things. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-best9/message

What You'll Learn From This Episode: How to structure, prioritize, and delegate correctly Having an evaluation list every single day Identifying something that's most meaningful and inspiring Related Links and Resources: If you go to www.drdemartini.com and go to 'determine your values' on my website, there's a complimentary free assessment of what you really, really show in your life, what your life demonstrates as value to you. Summary: Dr. John Demartini is a world-renowned specialist in human behavior, a researcher, author and global educator. He has developed a series of solutions applicable across all markets, sectors and age groups. His education curriculum ranges from corporate empowerment programs, financial empowerment strategies, self-development programs, relationship solutions and social transformation programs. His teachings start at the core of the issue, addressing the human factor and range out to a multitude of powerful tools that have proven the test of time. He has studied over 30,000 books across all the defined academic disciplines and has synthesized the wisdom of the ages which he shares on stage in over 100 countries. His presentations whether keynotes, seminars or workshops, leave clients with insights into their behavior and keys to their empowerment. Here are the highlights of this episode: 1:59 John's ideal Client: My ideal client is primarily entrepreneurs that have dreams and visions and see obstacles, and they want to see how to transform things that are apparently in the way into something that's actually possible. I help them troubleshoot, strategize, prioritize, delegate, whatever it takes to get that outcome. 2:27 Problem John helps solve: Most common is the structure; they have an idea but they don't have a strategy that's really thorough and they sometimes project assumptions about what the market needs instead of finding out what the market needs in getting a demand to provide their supplies with. So, I help them get structured, I help them get to prioritize, I help them to delegate, I help them get on into duty on what really inspires them so they can't wait to give more to serve people and people can't wait to get their service. 3:10 Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to John: When they're banging their head against the wall or the 'wailing wall' if you will, and they keep on expecting a different result though doing the same thing that they got arbitrated. I'm all about helping them get clear on their vision to help them break into those obstacles, because sometimes the quality of your life is based on the quality of questions that you're asking. I'm the guy that asks you questions to help you see past what they can't see. 3:56 What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding John and his solution: Most common thing is that they think it's an old delegation process; they think what they know on how to do it better than anybody else so I'll just keep doing it because I can't trust anybody. They inappropriately hire people that are cheaper but not necessarily really great in what they do that they can really engage in and rely on. And they get caught micromanaging, they get caught doing low priority things that they devalue themselves and ultimately, hook them back from doing something great because of this. 4:44 John's Valuable Free Action (VFA): To make an honest evaluated list of every single thing they're doing in a day, personal and professional. Right next to it after they made that list, how much do you produce per hour. Right next to that is how much meaning does it give them from a 1 to 10 scale. Right next to that how much does it cost to delegate that and look at the spreads between what's it's going to produce first off. And next to that, how much time is actually spent on it. Finally, go through it and prioritize what really produces the most, what really means the most,
