Sa video na ito, tatalakayin natin ang 10 pinaka-kahanga-hangang Eucharistic miracles mula sa iba't ibang bansa—from the oldest one in Italy to the most recent one in Poland.

Wer darf eigentlich was?

You're back. I'm back.GOTTA ASK YOU THIS:Instead of giving up on getting an audience to see your art because you'd rather scoop your cat's litter box for all of eternity than research SEO keywords for another second, What if “making content” felt more like divulging secrets to your best friend? What if content marketing was as easy for you as pickleball is for Serena? What if your content (non-derogatory) loaded people onto a proverbial express train to your work and created a scene even Warhol would envy?If making content felt fun, would you finally put yourself out there with your full chest? In today's episode, I'm going to give you a total reframe on content. And before I lose you, here's what this episode is NOT:* It's not about lack mindset!* It's not about believing in yourself!* It's not about changing your self-perception!* It's not about your fear of being seen!Don't get me wrong. I love to talk about those things, too. But that's not this episode.Today, I'm sharing one crucial shift in the actual act of making content that will make you feel like a celebrity multi-millionaire infused with their daily vitamin IV drip. In other words: invigorated.IN TODAY'S EPISODE, we'll answer these questions:* What qualifies as content and what qualifies as art?* What is the function of content for indie artists?* What are the different quality levels of content that artists should focus on?* How do you make boring “content marketing” into something more dynamic and easier to produce?* What are some examples of artists who are using this strategy and how does it work across industries?* Can content be part of your body of work without selling out or copying everyone else?* Will your art suffer if you focus on content?AND DON'T MISS:More Lore Less Bore, from the Twelfth House+ Podcast (A good place to start if you've never written a manifesto.)Vulfpeck's website.
Let me start with this: this is a dream interview. If, like me, you spent a lot of time in the 2000s and 2010s reading about celebrity online, Go Fug Yourself was an essential part of your online diet. Heather and Jessica were simply unrivaled when it came to celebrity fashion in general and red carpet fashion in particular. I idolized them the same way I idolized Lainey Gossip — both of whom I read alongside all of my graduate texts in star studies. The problem with those star studies is that they were always rooted in the past. But The Fug Girls and Lainey, they were doing the analysis now, on celebs who were desperately (and often unsuccessfully) attempting to navigate the new, digital gossip landscape — and that's how they became part of my dissertation, on the history of celebrity gossip, themselves. That's why it's such an absolute f-ing treat to talk to Heather and Jessica about the present and future of celebrity gossip: they have the context. They know the history. We talk about Deuxmoi, sourcing, blinds, accounting for past shittiness, so much. Melody had to jump in like 17 times to make us explain various peak 2000s gossip terms here, so if you were part of that universe (HELLO, TOOTHY TILE) you will love this episode — but if you weren't, and you just appreciate an introspective look at how celebrity discourse works, you'll love this, too (in part because Melody made us explain stuff, she's the best). Note: This episode was recorded just before the Blake Lively/New York Times bombshell so don't get mad that we don't mention it!! For more than 70 years, South Korea has woven the threat of North Korea into daily life. But now that threat has become mundane, and South Korean national security addresses family, public health, and national unity. Banal Security: Queer Korea in the Time of Viruses (Helsinki University Press, 2023) illustrates how as a result, queer Koreans are seen to represent a viral threat to national security. Taking readers from police stations and the Constitutional Court to queer activist offices and pride festivals, Timothy Gitzen shows how security weaves through daily life and diffuses the queer threat, in a context where queer Koreans are treated as viral carriers, disruptions to public order, and threats to family and culture. For more than 70 years, South Korea has woven the threat of North Korea into daily life. But now that threat has become mundane, and South Korean national security addresses family, public health, and national unity.

After a couple weeks off due to illnesses running through our houses, we're back and better than ever. Youth sports, politics, and home maintenance are on the agenda this week. We also discuss our new nemesis, Shakira. Murder Party: Some loser knob shows up at a "Murder Party" that he knows nothing about with people he's never met, but the guy is a lonely sad-sack who just wants a friend. Turns out, the party is put on by a bunch of artist douchebags who are actually looking to murder someone in an "artistic" manner. Who dies? Unfortunately not the entire cast, only most of them. CarousHell final grade: Steve This one is on the bottom end of meh. I could watch it again. I won't, but I could. There is humor there, if you're paying attention. Costume effects were good. A very average movie, exceeding the below average budget. 2.17/5.0 Brandon To quote the movie, "Banal. Jejune. The artistic representation of a dial tone." Not enough humor or action in the first 85% of the movie to make it worth working through to get to the end bit. Steve says there is some humor there, but I don't want to pay close enough attention to get it. 1.47/5.0 1.5/5.0 Cocktail of the Week: Skeleton Key 1 1/4 oz Bourbon 3/4 oz Elderflower Liqueur 1/2 oz Fresh-Squeezed Lemon Juice 1 TBSP Angostura Bitters Ginger Beer Angostura Bitters Comebine all non-ginger beer ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake to chill and combine. Serve over rocks in a Collins glass. Drizzle bitters over the top to create dripping blood effect. Cocktail Grade: Not a bad cocktail, but nothing to write home about. Adding a little more lemon juice to subsequent rounds and stirring the bitters in before drinking made it more palatable. Overall, a straight sour or Mule cocktail is probably preferable to combining the two. 3.5/5 ------------------ Contact us with feedback or cocktail/movie recommendations to: boozeandbmovies@gmail.com X: @boozeandbmovies Instagram: @boozeandbmovies Threads: @boozeandbmovies www.facebook.com/boozeandbmovies --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/boozeandbmovies/support

It's pretty hard to believe that podcasters who once talked at length about getting to try a new apple could be described as "banal!"

Publication Instant Noodles published my 50-word story "CYBERTRUCK DENTAL, S. DE R.L." The link to the stuff that is published, along with what's upcoming is on the Publications page of my author site jwh.whatsthematterwithme.org The sinking feeling you have after publication is the same one you have after you have an art opening. Everything returns to normal. Banal, mundane, normal. But in fact, I did accomplish something. What I set out to do: become a published writer. The thing rolls on, even: a second 50-word story will be published in a different publication next week. I recorded myself reading it in a video at the request of the editor. Surgery Update Looking at the calendar, it's been about 4 weeks since I had surgery. I've reduced my medication down to the pointt where I'm almost completely titrated off of the pain medications I've been taking for months. New New Cat We've got a new cat at the house. It's a two-month-old kitten that's part-lynx. It's in quarantine for the next 10 days, maybe more. Barbecue I lit the barbecue for the first time this year. Now that my meds are reduced, I feel like not as scary to grill. For the first go-around, I made skirt steak and eggplantLast night, I grilled a pork tenderloin with whole grain mustard, brown sugar and Shaoxing wine. We ate it with steamed new potatoes and boiled carrots. Hollywood We ordered a new juniper tree, a 'Hollywood Juniper' juniperus chinensis var. kaizuka. Remodeling After launching my writer's website, I'm remaking the whatsthematterwithme.org website with the same theme. If it all goes well, I could see myself redoing HoppinHotSauce.com the same way. In recent months, we've witnessed the rise of chatbots that can pass law and business school exams, artificial companions who've become best friends and lovers and music generators that produce remarkably humanlike songs. It's hard to know how to process it all. But if there's one thing that's certain, it's this: The future — shaped by technologies like artificial intelligence — is going to be profoundly weird. It's going to look, feel and function differently from the world we have grown to recognize. How do we learn to navigate — even embrace — the weirdness of the world we're entering into?Erik Davis is the author of the books “High Weirdness: Drugs, Esoterica and Visionary Experience in the Seventies” and “TechGnosis: Myth, Magic and Mysticism in the Age of Information” and writes the newsletter “Burning Shore.” For Davis, “weirdness” isn't just a quality of things that don't make sense to us, it's an interpretive framework that helps us better understand the cultures and technologies that will shape our wondrous, wild future. We discuss how Silicon Valley's particularly weird culture has altered the trajectory of A.I. development, why programs like ChatGPT can profoundly unsettle our sense of reality and our own humanity, how the behaviors of A.I. systems reveal far more about humanity than we like to admit, why we might be in a “sorcerer's apprentice moment” for artificial intelligence, why we often turn to myth and science fiction to explain technologies whose implications we don't yet grasp, why A.I. developers are willing to keep designing technologies that they think may destroy humanity and more. This episode contains strong language.Mentioned:Pharmako-AI by K Allado-McDowell“AI EEEEEEE!!!” by Erik Davis“The Merge” by Sam Altman“The Weird and the Banal” by Erik Davis“There Is No A.I.” by Jaron LanierBook Recommendations:God, Human, Animal, Machine by Meghan O'GieblynPsychonauts by Mike JayWeird Studies (podcast)Thoughts?
