The PurposeGirl Podcast: Empowering women to live their purpose with courage, joy, and fierce self-love is an incredible podcast that has completely changed my life. Carin, the host, has a wonderful style of speaking that is easy and interesting to listen to. I am super engaged whenever I listen to this podcast. The content is amazing in such a way that I can learn and be entertained at the same time. One episode that stands out to me is "Taking Control of Our Relationship With Money." As a financial coach, I have listened to a lot of people talk about money stories and narratives, but this episode has some of the best commentary on the subject I have ever heard.

What sets this podcast apart is how relatable Carin is. She speaks out for all women while still honoring our differences. Her episodes pierce the heart and elevate the soul. Practically any woman can find episodes here that resonate with them on a deep level.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the diverse range of guests Carin brings on. They provide valuable insights and perspectives that help me in both my personal and professional life. After listening to each episode, I am always so inspired and motivated. Carin does an amazing job as an interviewer and thought leader when it comes to purpose, pleasure, and joy.

However, there are no worst aspects that come to mind when thinking about this podcast. Carin consistently delivers high-quality content that leaves me feeling uplifted and empowered.

In conclusion, The PurposeGirl Podcast is truly exceptional. Carin's authenticity, vulnerability, and passion shine through in every episode. This podcast has helped me find my purpose and tap into my strength as a woman. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for inspiration, guidance, or simply a positive start to their day. Give it a listen - you won't regret it!

In honor of Pride month here in the US, I wanted to bring you a genuine conversation with a number of dear friends of mine about our own discoveries about our places in the LGBTQIA+ universe. We're having a frank, open discussion about our experiences, our joys, our struggles, and so much more. Regardless of how you (or those in your lives) identify, these issues touch all of us, and I want to help bring greater understanding to my community and to all those whose lives you touch. I'm joined by three amazing guests – not “experts” per se, simply real people: Kelly Mahalak, Cassandra Coghill, and Chivas Sandage – as we dive into: Our own journeys to self-discovery The terms we use to describe ourselves, and the challenges in using these terms Compulsory heterosexuality Coming out is not a one-time thing The privilege and curse of “passing” The many joys in our lives related to our queerness Laughter. Tears. Deep truths. This conversation has it all!!! About Cassandra A. Coghill I am Cassandra A. Coghill, a Relationship Alchemist and Intimacy Guide. I am a healer, a priestess, and a witch. I have a Bachelor's degree in Women and Gender Studies, with a minor in Human Development and Family Science, from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. (Go Bison!)  While attending college, I became a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and gave birth to my first child. While pregnant with my second child, I was initiated onto the path of priestesshood at the Goddess Temple of Ashland, Oregon. I am also an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. A powerful inner call to understand the mysteries of life lead me into the study of metaphysics and the occult from a young age. I have been a practicing solitary white witch for the past 11 years. I have studied the Tarot since 2014 and consult it and other oracles for myself and my clients regularly. I work with the so-called “classical” or “Western” elements of Air, Water, Fire and Earth in nearly everything I do. My love for the so-called “Eastern” traditions runs deep (I've studied yoga, tantra, ayurveda, traditional chinese medicine, feng shui and Buddhist philosophy informally but extensively); but, as a person of predominantly British ancestry, the deepest and most powerful magick I bring forth tends to be drawn from ancient, indigenous European traditions, rituals, symbologies and myths. I commune with angels, dance with faeries and sing the songs of my ancestors regularly.” To learn more about and follow Cassandra: infinitegenesis.com/bio-links Facebook.com/Cassandra.coghill.37 Instagram.com/Cassandra.coghill About Chivas Sandage Chivas Sandage teaches women's writing workshops on Zoom and also works privately as a coach, editor, and consultant. You ever have that feeling that you should be happier than you are? Maybe you think that in general, things are going pretty OK in your life, and for sure a lot of people have it worse than you do, and yet you feel like you should be happier? You wonder what's wrong with you? I'll out myself and say that yes, I've been there many times in my life. If this at all resonates for you, then I've got the best guest for you! Today I'm sitting down with Dominique Velasquez to talk about: The guilt that comes from feeling that you have no good reason to be anxious or unhappy The search for external validation Her struggles with opioids Her amazing recovery (and how my podcast helped!!! – I am so grateful to know this!!!) Her key understanding that the problem is not the circumstance in which we find ourselves, it's… (you'll have to listen to hear the rest!) The devastating effect of shame How the tools that Dominique has developed help other women to feel fulfilled and whole inside Dominique's PIVOTT program About Dominique Velasquez I spent my life trying to prove my worth by achieving things. However, there was no achievement big enough to fill the hole I had in my heart. I kept feeling empty like something was missing, and I just could not figure out why. I'd smile and put on a happy face to the world, but internally I was dying. In 2010 I got diagnosed with endometriosis, & quickly found myself fully addicted to opiates in desperation to numb the pain. At that time in my life, I looked to have it all, but I felt empty & unfulfilled! Constantly thinking “What is wrong with me?” I was dripping in shame from living a double life, pretending to be fine. The shame of being found out stopped me from seeking the treatment that I desperately wanted. I truly believed that my worth came from outside of me. Then I discovered self-development, and my life took a 180-degree pivot. I quickly learned that everything I needed was inside me and that I am the creator of my life. My purpose is to guide women in discovering that everything they need is inside them. I didn't build my business on social media - I built it by speaking on stages. My big dream was to be impactful like Oprah, and though I had no mentor, I figured it out. I spoke at AVON and for Victoria's Secret execs. For Capital One and at Women's conferences.  I LOVED IT! I made an impact, I made money, AND, nearly every time I spoke, I got clients! But then… I kept seeing all of these other coaches making $1 Million in 6 months! I felt so inadequate. Ads started screaming at me on Facebook: Get 10,000 followers! Get my cash coach system! My brain start obsessing about social media posts and (ugh -) Likes. I felt like a loser and even though my business did “well” I felt rotten. When companies shut down during the pandemic, speaking was off the table - So I hired an expensive coach who got me to raise my prices. It was fun and I was successful, but I was still anxious. My mind dreaded the social media hustle. I felt bored of all the coaching. And empty. I got into this to teach Happiness, but I was unhappy. So I hit the RESET button. I looked deep within and remembered: Carin - you're here to move the masses. I did not get into this to coach a few. I did not get into this to obsessively feel defeated against algorithms.  I did not get into this to SELL! SELL! SELL! I'm here for massive impact. I'm here to start a Revolution. Can you relate? Does this resonate? If so, then stick around, because this episode is the audio from my VISIONARY MasterClass, in which I spilled the beans on: How I created a REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT. At the end of every year, I always spend time going through a particular ritual that helps me celebrate what was really good in the past year, look back at what I learned, and ask myself what do I want to carry forward? Doing this ritual helps me look at what I want in the coming year. I want to share this ritual with all of you so you can reflect on 2022 and look at what you want for 2023. Before I get to this very powerful ritual, I talk about: Taking time to pause and enjoy the moments in life. This helps you to create more of that in the future. Why it is so important to have closure for the things you don't want to carry with you into the new year. When you really suck the marrow out of the good that happened in the past year, it creates the building blocks for the next year. Thanks for listening, love! Let's change the world. Leadership in the feminine is desperately needed, now more than ever. With the chaos engulfing our world in so many ways, we need more women rising in their power and leading from the feminine, instead of the toxic masculinity that is far too common in positions of power. In today's episode I'm talking about what it means to be a priestess, and I'm publicly announcing a new program in which I'm bringing together years of my own training and work with ancient feminine wisdom: PRIESTESS. A PRIESTESS is here to raise the vibration of the planet. Living at such a high frequency of ecstasy – joy, love, peace, fire, freedom – a PRIESTESS leads with her radiance. She remembers the ancient wisdom within to embody her full power. PRIESTESS is a journey to the deeply divine, mystical, spiritual truth. To the underworld, the dark magic, and the light. To your sacred work in the world. To your authentic, beautiful, wise, compassionate, passionate, self. To your divinity. Your unique magic and skills. PRIESTESS is not a program… It's an initiation. A remembrance. A calling. A one-year journey to your highest self. PRIESTESS is not for everyone, but if you think it might be for you, email my team (team@purposegirl.com) ASAP and let's set up a quick time to chat, because we start soon! I paid for the entire trip by leading a Goddess VIP day, and then leading my S*nsual Goddess Tuscany retreat. Honestly, I have never cried in gratitude so much. This is my life: leading women through the fire so they can be the WOMEN they were meant to be! I share all of this because I want you to know that whatever you are dreaming of, it's all possible. To see the world through Shay's eyes and to make even the hard moments fun. Leading a VIP day where we celebrated how special my client is and I helped her reclaim her voice in the city she wanted to go to, but compromised on almost 10 years ago. How we were so into our bodies with joy and aliveness on the VIP day that we were able to create the next 6 months of my client's business in one hour. Being in pleasure makes the creative juices flow easily. The magic from the S*nsual Goddess Tuscany retreat. We started with a sacred ceremony to help the Goddesses remember who they were meant to be. Letting go of all the things that hold us back. Ever compare yourself to other women? Feel less than or like you don't measure up? Oh sister, you know how strongly I feel that women coming together are magical! When we get together in sisterhood, it's a profound experience! And yet, so many of us have been hurt by women, and we carry deep sisterhood wounds. Well, I grew up believing that I needed to be perfect to be loved, and a lot of this had stemmed from my experiences with other girls when I was little. I was basing my sense of self-worth on the approval of others, and this has caused me so much grief over the years. These beliefs, “I'm only lovable if…” or “I'm only worthy if…”, are so harmful and yet so common among women. For me, it's an ongoing effort of using my tools to keep these harmful beliefs at bay, and fortunately I have a toolkit of strategies that I use for this. In today's episode I'm talking about The childhood origins of some of my own sh*t – a story about cheerleading you need to hear The ups and downs of social media – how it impacts our worth My struggles in high school with shame and feeling like a loser The origins of our women wounds and how to move through them Why I create safe, sacred sisterhoods The surprising core nature of women in times of stress Specific steps for healing sisterhood wounds: 4 Purpose Power Tools to change your life with worth, women, and friendships And as of early June, 2022, the doors are now open for my life-changing retreat, Goddess Getaway: Italy! 203 The Anxiety Episode

We've been dealing with a pandemic for several years now (we recently passed 1 million COVID-related deaths here in the US alone) and we've been feeling the impacts of the health and safety risks as well as the isolation. Add to that the continuing incidents of gun violence, race-based attacks, attacks on women's rights, and so much more, and we have a lot of very real reasons to feel anxiety. So, the question becomes: What do we do about it? I have years of expertise in women's happiness and an Ivy League degree in Positive Psychology (the scientific study of human flourishing). And I also struggle with anxiety. I always have. If you're looking for that one thing you can do to alleviate your anxiety, you're going to be disappointed, because there isn't one thing that works for everyone. We're just too complex for that. However, I have a toolkit of strategies that I use to manage my own anxiety on a regular basis, and in today's episode I'm going to share my tools with you: I get support. I surround myself with sisterhood. I allow myself to feel and express my emotions instead of suppressing them. I reframe how I think about my own anxiety. I practice acceptance. I ground in and meditate. I move my body. I use my journal (you'll have to listen to find out how). One of my favortie ways to reframe: “What else is true?” Self-touch Taking a bath I also get very personal in talking about how my own anxiety manifests itself, and what it feels like.
