On Friday's Mark Levin Show, in Chapter 1 of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto it emphasizes that the conservative commitment to ordered liberty is rooted in the Founders' principles, such as the social contract and civil society, which foster harmony of interests through accumulated human experience and reasoning for the betterment of individuals and society. There are so-called podcasters on the right who reject this. We can't allow the Tucker Carlson's or Megyn Kelly's to hand America to the left. We need to hold firm to our principles, understanding of the American founding, and decades of discussed values, without falling into traps set by these detractors. Also, a federal judge in Alexandria, Virginia suggested she might dismiss charges against James Comey for lying to Congress and Letitia James for bank fraud, citing skepticism over the legitimacy of interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan's appointment by AG Pam Bondi. Bondi has full authority to appoint anyone who meets the U.S. attorney qualifications. This is pathetic, the left has destroyed our judicial system. Later, the Democrats are potentially poised for another government shutdown opportunity in January, targeting airline services, TSA, FAA, and military funding to inflict pain on Americans again. These routine continuing resolutions might become quarterly battles because of the Democrats. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Number One— The funeral—the official public funeral will be next Sunday in the Arizona Cardinals stadium—it holds about 70,000 people—I guess the other million or so will need to have jumbotrons to watch— Number Two— Church attendance is surging in America—and accelerated over the weekend we are told—its what I am calling the Charlie effect—and believe me—its real— Number Three— The assassination of Charlie Kirk was an attack on the most basic of American principles – the freedom to your opinion and the freedom to engage in a society with people who believe differently than you—without fear that you will be gunned down in front of 3,000 college kids and murdered for your opinion—
In this episode of Good Morning Liberty, Nate and Charlie discuss a variety of topics, starting with Charlie's recent experience with local government overreach in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where city ordinances are affecting beachgoers. They dive into the broader implications of local government power and its impact on personal freedoms. The conversation then shifts to a critical examination of a recent U.S. military strike on an alleged drug boat in Venezuela, questioning the legality and motives behind such actions. They challenge the notion that rights come from the government, referencing the ideological foundations of the United States and the perspectives of historical figures like Thomas Jefferson. The episode concludes with reflections on the dangers of government overreach at all levels and the importance of protecting inherent human rights. 00:00 Intro 00:51 Beach Ordinance Controversy 05:08 Local Government and Personal Rights 08:21 Discussion on Rights and Government 14:31 The Declaration of Independence and Natural Rights 15:11 Ted Cruz's Response on Rights and Government 16:58 Discussion on American Principles and Government 18:48 Venezuela and U.S. Military Actions 20:34 Debate on Drug Cartels and U.S. Policy 25:45 Concerns Over Government Overreach and Slippery Slopes 33:33 Concluding Thoughts and Episode Wrap-Up

In this special Fourth of July episode, we're talking about The Big Beautiful Bill—yes, it passed, and yes, it's time to get on board. While I normally support smaller, single-issue legislation (so we can actually see what's in these bills), there's still a lot to be excited about here. From major investments in border security to a strong push toward deporting illegal immigrants, this bill takes some long-overdue steps in the right direction.Sure, there are parts that could've been better—and no surprise, Elon Musk isn't thrilled because it didn't personally benefit him as much as he hoped—but overall, I agree with the majority of what's in it.Tune in as we break down the good and the bad inside The Big Beautiful Bill—and what it means for the future of our country.Happy Fourth of July, and let's keep America strong.
Praying for America - Guest: Terry Schilling, President of American Principles Project - 6/30/25 by Priests for Life
My conversation with a politically diverse group of folks around a kitchen table in the western suburbs of Chicago continues. We try to answer two questions: Do most Americans still believe in certain common American principles? And do you believe your kids and your grandkids will have it better than you've had it? Some surprising answers. Also, we're disappearing people into countries that aren't their countries of origin. Evil. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The speed and seriousness with which Donald Trump is shaking up Washington has everyone's head spinning. If the president called me and asked my advice how he should explain to the American people what he is doing, I would say he should tell every American to read our Declaration of Independence. Donald Trump is working to restore the principles and foundations that the nation's founders clearly laid out there that define the American republic. The serious problems we are confronting today stem from our departure from those principles, that the nation's founders signed, with “a firm reliance on the protection...Article Link

Send us a Text Message. In this interview, Will Wright and Pastor Josh Burtram speak with Mike Ter Maat, the Libertarian Party's 2024 vice-presidential nominee running alongside Chase Oliver. Ter Maat discusses his transition from the Republican Party to the Libertarian Party, citing his disillusionment with both major parties' departures from their core principles. He emphasizes the Libertarian philosophy of minimal government intervention, personal liberty, and fiscal conservatism, arguing that the Libertarian Party aligns more closely with American values than either the Republican or Democratic parties.Ter Maat critiques U.S. foreign policy, particularly the ethical and practical failures of military interventions and foreign aid. He argues that these efforts have not made America safer or advanced its strategic interests. He also discusses the nation's unsustainable fiscal policies, warning of potential financial collapse if current trends continue. When asked about balancing national security with fiscal responsibility, Ter Maat is firm in his stance that the U.S. should not give away any money to other countries, arguing that it does not buy influence or benefit American interests. He also challenges the notion of what constitutes an ally, particularly in the context of U.S.-Israel relations.Learn more about their campaign: https://votechaseoliver.com/Guest Bio:Mike campaigned in 2021-22 as the Libertarian Party candidate in the January special Congressional election in Florida's District 20. On today's edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer concludes his compelling discussion with Terry Schilling, president of American Principles Project. Terry shares what they are doing to defend the American family and urges us to wake up and heed the warnings foretold in the Bible. If we take God out of the equation, chaos ensues. Romans 1:28-29 says, Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. Anderlik Fellow, The Heritage Foundation(Moderator)The demographic crisis in the United States is real and a threat to society as we know it. The U.S. and almost all developed countries are failing to replace their populations. In 2022, the total fertility rate (TFR) in the U.S. was 1.665 births per woman aged 15-44. This is well below the necessary replacement level of 2.1 births per woman. Among the 38 countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), fertility was even lower. This trend is a threat to the future of every developed country, including our own, especially because it reflects a decline in stable married families headed by a father and a mother. To solve this growing crisis, we need a genuinely pro-family policy agenda. To do that, however, we first need to understand the problem and identify what caused it in the first place.Join Heritage experts, Senator Ted Budd, and Amy Kate Budd for an explanation of this issue and discussion of a policy path forward.
