Five deep tonight — Grant, Tim Parker, David Bloom, Mykell Mathieu and E Lamb — and the Clippers news is grim. Baxter Holmes of ESPN reports the Aspiration investigation could bleed into 2027, and Grant has had it: as he puts it, it's the year 2085, Bronny James Jr. the Second is in the league, and the investigation still isn't concluded. He torches the recycled reporting cycle — everyone re-breaking that the Raptors don't want the penalties, which the show covered three weeks ago — while E Lamb plays the adult in the room and lays out the actual endgame nobody else is explaining: findings, the Clippers' right to push back, then arbitration or court. His warning from July 4 stands — the longer this lingers, the worse it gets — and if it isn't concluded by the trade deadline, there is no trade. Mykell just feels bad for Toronto, where Kawhi was supposed to retire, and for Brandon Ingram, stuck on a team that already tried to ship him out. Before the doom: Luka Doncic is flying the ENTIRE Lakers roster to Slovenia on his own dime for a four-day August mini-camp, and the panel splits on what it means — Mykell calls it everything the last era never gave the fans, E Lamb contrasts it with a certain someone working out in another team's facility, Tim (crediting the "vanilla Lakers") says team bonding doesn't move a seed, and the crew fights over what year one of solo Luka has to look like: Western Conference Finals or bust? Plus Deebo Samuel returns to the Niners with Ricky Pearsall likely out long-term, Tim declares the Niners cooked while Grant — the self-described biggest Niners hater alive — explains why the cockroach always survives, and E Lamb announces the TST Fantasy Football League. Tim Parker is back from Philadelphia and the crew — Grant, Tim and David Bloom — has a night full of receipts. The Miami Heat accidentally published, then scrambled to delete, a scheduled video dated July 27 — and Grant, who lives inside YouTube Studio, explains exactly how a slip like that happens and why this one doesn't look like an accident. Is that LeBron's date? Tim reads the tea leaves the only way that's ever made sense: through the family — Zhuri's volleyball life in LA, Savannah's history with Miami, and why Golden State is a 45-minute flight that keeps everyone happy. Plus the Markieff Morris "sources" tweet that had the panel asking: per WHO? Before all that, Tim files a report from Philly: Schwarber one homer short at the Derby, the All-Star Game leading the local news, and a Phillies team that fell apart on the little things against a Dodgers club that never misses them — including the JT Realmuto baserunning decision nobody can explain. The guys make the case for Max Muncy's No. 13 in the rafters, debate Kyle Tucker as a $60M "add-on," and Tim shares a story from Dodger Stadium that confirms the worst-kept secret in baseball: the Phantom IL is real. The post-show goes NFL: Tim (a lifelong Eagles fan) says his own team isn't built to hang with the Rams, declares this the Year of Jalen Hurts, and drops a hot take — the defending-champion Seahawks miss the playoffs entirely. The full crew is back — Grant, John Browner, David Bloom and Josh Tariff — and the biggest story finally has legs: Aaron Donald is coming back to the Rams. It's not official, but between the grainy footage at the Woodland Hills facility, Davante Adams' posts and Myles Garrett unpacking a signed jersey, the guys treat it as done and start dreaming on a Greatest Show on Turf defense — third-down packages, double-digit sack predictions, and a message for the smug defending-champion Seahawks they don't play until Christmas. Before that: the LeBron sweepstakes drags on with nobody actually knowing anything, and the panel torches the fake-sources economy — Kendrick Perkins, Pat Beverley, DraftKings odds, and how the ESPN insider machine really works. Plus final summer league verdicts: the Warriors win it all behind MVP Yaxel Lendeborg, Caleb Wilson looks like the best of the whole class, Aday Mara gets exposed, and the crew renders a split decision on Keaton Wagler's Vegas — Grant sees a second-half burst scorer the Clippers will let take his lumps, John sees a project who never passed the eye test. It ends with an 0-17 Cardinals prediction and a plea to Jacoby Brissett: take the money. New episodes drop nightly. Follow the crew and catch the post-show on X. It's a Clippers summer league postgame reaction show with the perfect crew for it — Grant, Beav and David Bloom, three guys who love the Clippers and hate them a little bit sometimes. Keaton Wagler sits out against the Wizards and the panel splits: Grant wanted him on the floor building confidence against lower competition, David says resting a top-five pick on a back-to-back is just what summer league is, and Beav is frustrated the Clippers won't let a struggling 19-year-old develop. Meanwhile the guys who did play looked good — Kobe Sanders drops 26 and gets caught mic'd up leading the huddle, Nick "The Juice" Martinelli keeps earning his roster card, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser tells Joey Lynn he's up from 238 to 265 pounds. Then it gets uncomfortable: is Cam Christie's time with the Clippers over? The crew debates the fan-favorite pipeline, why the franchise hits on second-rounders but can't find a homegrown star, whether this era matches the 2018–19 transition team, and Beav demands Adam Silver stop lying and let the Kawhi trade through. Grant's back from Summer League in Vegas and the crew — John Browner, Beav and David Bloom — has thoughts. Three games in on Keaton Wagler and the panel is not having it: John calls it a red flag, Beav just says trash, David sees a passive, tentative player afraid to ruin his percentages. Grant is the lone defender, pointing to 19.5 points and 41.6% from three over the last two games and arguing the real issue is a 19-year-old frame, not the jumper. Meanwhile Darius Acuff drops 26 in 26 minutes and John hands out an A+. The guys run the last five No. 5 picks, debate whether Lawrence Frank is on the clock, and then get into the Kawhi Leonard mess: a second NBA investigation tied to the Aspiration probe, AI images of Kawhi as a Marvel Groot offshoot, and an Adam Silver quote that flatly contradicts the Raptors' own statement. Who actually paused that trade? Plus Gary Trent Jr., circumvention that everyone pretends isn't happening, and a StubHub story that ties it all together. New episodes drop nightly. Last Night at School Committee - November 19th, 2025:  Here's what happened Last Night at the Boston School Committee meeting. Superintendent's Report: The Superintendent began with updates on transportation and enrollment, noting that the district has seen record-high transportation performance this fall. Morning on-time performance has reached 95% or higher on nine separate days, a remarkable increase given that in past years BPS only hit that mark twice during the first 45 days of school. Member Cardet-Hernandez, however, inquired about the headline the Superintendent avoided mentioning: the recent bribery and kickback scheme involving a Transdev employee, and the long-standing oversight failures that allowed uncertified drivers and other safety lapses to occur. The Superintendent stated that the latest transportation contract includes stronger accountability provisions, but did not elaborate on what those measures look like.  The Superintendent then shifted to enrollment, reporting that the district currently serves 46,824 students, an astonishing drop of 1,700 students from this time last year. She attributed the decline to reduced international immigration, fewer children being born in Boston, and smaller cohorts moving through the system. Vice Chair O'Neill followed with questions about how this compares to projections, how much revenue depends on enrollment, and what the district expects for next year. In response, CFO David Bloom explained that Boston's budget is largely insulated from enrollment declines because city appropriations are not tied to student count. Instead, the budget is tied to local taxes. Moreover, supplemental state and federal grants are based on prior-year enrollment, so the shifts will not have any impact on this coming year. The Long-Term Facilities Plan:  The main report of the evening was the long-term facilities plan. Superintendent Skipper framed the work as an effort to align buildings with a shared definition of a high-quality student experience. She asserted the vision is one informed by thousands of surveys, listening sessions, and community engagements. Superintendent Skipper also emphasized that decades of deferred maintenance and sharply declining enrollment have made this planning unavoidable.  Chief of Capital Planning Delavern Stanislaus then presented an in-depth review of the district's proposed school closures, mergers, and reconfigurations. The plan includes closing Lee Academy Pilot School, Another Course to College (ACC), and the Community Academy of Science and Health (CASH); restructuring the Henderson School into a unified PreK–8 program; and reconfiguring both Tobin and Russell into PreK–6 schools. Stanislaus also previewed a broader arc of closures, noting that by 2030, the district anticipates approximately eight additional elementary schools and six high schools will ultimately close Learn more about your ad choices. Are you confident when increasing the vertical dimension? How do you plan, stage, and sequence a full-mouth case safely? What's the right deprogramming method—leaf gauge, Kois appliance, or something else? Dr. David Bloom joins Jaz in this powerhouse episode to demystify the real-world process of increasing vertical dimension. With decades of experience in comprehensive dentistry, David shares how he approaches diagnosis, bite records, temporization, and final restorations—with predictability and confidence. https://youtu.be/gAaP0VYP84s Watch PDP232 on YouTube Protrusive Dental Pearl: Pick one occlusal philosophy and stick with it until you understand it well through real cases. Once you're confident, stay open to other approaches—hearing different views will make you smarter, more flexible, and a better dentist. However, with proper planning and understanding of occlusion, the human body can adapt remarkably well. Occlusal Philosophy: It's important to learn one occlusal philosophy well, whether it's Kois, Dawson, or another. Understanding different approaches can make you a more rounded clinician, as different patients may benefit from different methods. Equilibration and Deprogramming: Equilibration is crucial for idealizing occlusion by eliminating interferences. Deprogramming helps in achieving centric relation, a stable and repeatable position for the condyles, which is essential for successful equilibration. Orthodontics vs. Vertical Dimension: Deciding between orthodontics and opening the vertical dimension depends on the specific case. For example, pre-aligning patients with orthodontics might be necessary to address a restricted envelope of function. Testing and Adaptation: Testing the vertical dimension with transitional materials like composite can help patients adapt before moving to definitive restorations. Experienced clinicians may sometimes proceed directly to final restorations based on their judgment and diagnostic steps. Get CE/CPD for this episode only on the Protrusive Guidance App.

With unprecedented access to the investigation, "Once Upon a Con" gives listeners a front-row seat to the dramatic takedown of one of Hollywood's most cunning predators, who now sits in a Los Angeles County prison waiting for trial. Episodes available here:Https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-once-upon-a-con-260747492/   Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

Sharyl Attkisson is a 5-time Emmy award winning investigative journalist. Today she joins me to discuss the deterioration of media outlets, everything happening in Los Angeles and the Trump administration moving forward the MAHA agenda. As Los Angeles collapsed into chaos media outlets refused to acknowledge the dangerous and troubling scenario as it unfolded. According to ABC, burning down cars and destroying your own neighborhood is "fun." Sharyl notes that modern day legacy reporters are rewarded for holding a viewpoint, oftentimes an untruthful one. These lies have so fully permeated the information we're told that Sharyl holds the position that whatever it is they are telling you, the opposite is most likely the truth. Sharyl learned this years ago when her colleague died after receiving the smallpox vaccine when on assignment overseas. The cover-up after David Bloom's passing was shocking and furthered her commitment to delivering the truth. Sharyl has full faith in RFK Jr. and his efforts leading the MAHA movement. After all, it was the CDC vaccine board that Bobby fired that lied to the public about vaccine efficacy. Bobby is equipped with a wealth of knowledge and as a former litigator, the perfect person to take on big pharma. This weekend I will be proudly celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States Army as President Trump holds a parade in honor of all those that have served. Are “contact lens veneers” just fake news? Why is the traditional 0.7mm prep approach outdated? Are you truly preserving enamel in your veneer preparations? Should you ever bond veneers to root dentin or cementum after crown lengthening? Why is the Galip Gürel technique the gold standard for minimal prep veneers? https://youtu.be/5BEFD1XaZtE Watch PDP219 on Youtube Dr. David Bloom joins Jaz for an insightful episode, sharing his 36 years of experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. With over two decades in the same practice, he's seen what works—and what leads to failure—when it comes to veneers. We also cover the key steps in mock-ups, planning, and veneer preparation. Protrusive Dental Pearl:  Always Wax Up for 10: When planning veneers, start with a 10-unit wax-up (even if the patient initially wants 4 or 6). This allows them to visualize their full smile with a mock-up, compare different options, and make an informed decision. It's not about upselling - most patients will appreciate the fuller look. Key Take-aways: Health and diagnosis are foundational in cosmetic dentistry. Visual try-ins are crucial for patient engagement and satisfaction. Minimally invasive techniques are preferred for cosmetic procedures. Communication with patients about their options is essential. Bonding to enamel is more reliable than bonding to dentin. Permission statements help in guiding patient expectations. The transition from veneers to crowns should be carefully considered. Staining is not the primary concern when bonding to dentin. A change in surface texture is key in modern dental preparations. Visual aids are crucial in helping patients understand their treatment options. The Gurel technique emphasizes minimal preparation for veneers. Effective communication with patients can enhance their treatment experience. Understanding occlusion is fundamental in aesthetic dentistry. Veneer thickness should be as minimal as possible for aesthetic results. Patient involvement in the design process is essential. Cementation techniques can vary based on gingival health. Maintaining a facial path of insertion is important for aesthetic outcomes. Building a good relationship with lab technicians is key to successful restorations. Need to Read it? Check out the Full Episode Transcript below! SEASON 3 EPISODE 116: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: I want polling on a special, emergency, extra-constitutional Presidential Recall Vote. I know there isn't going to BE a Presidential Recall Vote. I know we're not going extra-constitutional, we're not REPUBLICANS dammit. But they are always making up laws (inside the Supreme Court and outside of it) on the premise that the people really want it, so after this week of unprecedented insane unnecessary failure on the part of Trump and his Team of Imbecilic Rivals, I want to know where we stand. Because the moment we get 10 Republicans in the House and 14 in the Senate to believe that if Trump stays in office, their careers are over, he's gone. Half of them think he's nuts already and a quarter have had doubts. They need to be pushed and I don't want to wait until the mid-terms for them to get the damned message I want SOME pollster - independent, news-related, hired by the Democrats, SOMEBODY - to ask these questions: 1) if the election were re-run today would you vote for Trump or a Democrat. Or another Republican. Or a fairly intelligent farm animal. 2) would you support a special recall vote to potentially reverse the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. 3) would you describe the current financial panic and the upcoming tsunami of inflation and unemployment as a national emergency. 4) do you think Donald Trump has lost his mind. 5) do you think Donald Trump is mentally fit to run the country. 6) do you think Donald Trump is acting to destroy the United States on behalf of a foreign country. 7) do you think it is necessary to act outside the constitution if necessary to save the United States of America FROM Donald Trump. 8) if the midterm elections for the Senate and the House were tomorrow would you vote Republican or Democratic? WHATEVER the percentages are they could easily scare the crap out of 10 House Republicans and 14 Senate Republicans and the day they do, Trump vanishes. You doubt me? Ask Richard Nixon. Ask Abraham Lincoln, whom they were ready to get rid of seven months before Lee surrendered at Appomattox because they thought he wasn't going to be re-elected. Also is it possible the Democrats are listening to me? Obama emerges to spout sense, as I've asked. The DNC Chair founds "The People's Cabinet." All we need now is POLLING ON A PRESIDENTIAL RECALL VOTE. B-Block (31:28) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Pittsburgh Pirates rip a Roberto Clemente memorial off their outfield wall to make room for an ad for seltzer, a Republican influencer insists there are no tariffs on Russia because we don't import anything from Russia (we import $2.5 Billion a year from Russia), and the Secretary of the Treasury wants YOU to buy American while he buys British. (41:28) SPORTSBALLCENTER: Alexander Ovechkin DOES have more goals than Wayne Gretzky now, but no, that's still not the big league hockey record (and Gretzky managed to throw himself out another window during the celebrations) and the date of the first American, maybe the first human, to be photographed giving the finger to the cameraman has to be pushed back from 1886 to 1882 after a discovery this weekend about baseball Hall of Famer Old Hoss Radbourn. C-Block (55:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: I have been asked by a listener to expand on last week's news that Chuck Todd not only does not realize that his news career is over but he thinks investors are going to give him $2,000,000,000 to go buy a news organization now. The answer to the question "Chuck Todd: Why?"See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

David portrayed Kevin in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, Stanley Zielinski in Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street, Josh in American Born Chinese, and Teenage Al in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. He also appeared in CSI: NY, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, and Arrow. Sloane and David first met on the set of The Goldbergs years ago and have known each other since they were 13. On today's episode, I talk to musician and composer Rob Mazurek. Originally from Jersey City, Rob started playing trumpet and cornet in high school after his family moved to Naperville, Illinois. He first learned the foundations of improvised music while studying jazz theory and practice with David Bloom at the Bloom School of Jazz in Chicago, and then became a mainstay of Chicago jazz in the 1980s. In 1994, Rob formed the Chicago Underground Collective with guitarist Jeff Parker and a cast of revolving players, which in turn birthed Isotope 217, both groups releasing albums on the seminal label Thrill Jockey. In the decades since then, Rob founded the Exploding Star Orchestra, has earned numerous commissions and awards, and in general has created more music and art than a short bio can properly elucidate. Earlier this spring, Rob's most recent work for Exploding Star Orchestra, Lightning Dreamers, was released on International Anthem, and like everything else Rob creates, it's wonderful! Jeffrey Shaw - job title and Author of The Self-Employed Life: Business and Personal Development Strategies That Create Sustainable Success  This quote will be added soon, sorry! Jeffrey Shaw became one of the most preeminent portrait photographers in the United States. His on-location style and fine craftsmanship made him the go-to photographer for families of C-suite executives of Anheuser-Busch, Twitter, and many others, Supermodel Stephanie Seymour, news anchors Jim Nantz and David Bloom, sports icons Tom Seaver, Pat Riley, and Wall Street executives too many to mention. His portraits appeared on The Oprah Show, CBS News, in People and O Magazine and hang at Harvard University and The Norman Vincent Peale Center. After 35 years of exceptional service to his exclusive clientele, Jeffrey decided to share his knowledge of business, branding, and marketing to support self-employed and small business owners as well as progressive-minded companies. He's an in-demand keynote speaker at conferences such as HOW Design, Growth Marketing, corporations the likes of Verizon and BMW, and institutions such as Florida Atlantic University and the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship. Jeffrey is also the author of two books, LINGO and The Self-Employed Life, a LinkedIn Learning instructor, and a regular contributor to various publications. In 2014, Jeffrey started a podcast, Creative Warriors, later rebranded as The Self-Employed Life which is amongst the top 15% of all podcasts.  Peruquois - Recording Artist and Healer      This quote will be added soon, sorry! Around the world, she fills huge stadiums, arenas and concert halls bigger than Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall—often averaging 6,000 a night! But in North America, she is still a mystery to be discovered! Peruquois (pronounced Peru-Kua)—she is called by one name only—is a phenomenon in herself. Bringing forth an extraordinary healing sound that is part singing in a range never heard before on the planet, part multidimensional healing, part evoking the feminine goddess within all women—Peruquois stands alone. There is no one else like her. She is the world leader in applied spirituality for women. International recording star, renowned wisdom teacher, accomplished female shaman, master of multicultural music from jazz to Indian Classic to a sound uniquely her own, Peruquois opens women to a part of themselves often long buried, or maybe never even discovered. She is committed to helping women experience a true deep love of themselves. Using an ultra-high/low overtone form of singing she developed, Peruquois can produce up to four voices at a time! A unique sound that has been scientifically-tested to heal in many concerts conducted with her. But it's her remarkable story of how this voice unfolded that is so compelling! Losing her father to a fishing accident at three only began the first of her travails. At 11, she had both legs detached above the knee and then reattached in a botched surgery designed to cure genetic hip rotation, nearly disabling her. Her suffering committed her to rising above pain to focus on living fully and finding the love within. She left home at 15 to find her own way and despite parental disapproval, she turned to her passion to sing as a career. In just one year, she covered 10 years of music education –and, at 19, passed the exams to enter the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts as a jazz vocalist.

All references to this stem from this terrible journalism, and none carry Sernoffsky's retraction (9:15) And then came the Elon Musk tweet spreading a nonsensical conspiracy theory from a pretend news outlet around the world (10:30) The GOP's effort to work the refs has produced results, especially in convincing media to pretend the party's use of the threat of violence is something new (11:00) Just my own experience, as a victim of four fake anthrax mailings in 2006 because I criticized Bush, and being on the second wave list of the "MAGA-Bomber" in 2018 for criticizing Trump, underscores how widespread this tactic has been. How can the Marjorie Taylor Greenes of this world be sure that everybody they encourage to use violence is a Republican, and every one of the victims will be a Democrat - and not the other way around?
