I will sit still in deep contemplation, Looking back on all I've done. Forgiving myself and forgiving the other, As in the end we all are one.  ☉The whole issue of right and wrong that I discuss in this week's report goes very deep and can trigger a lot of judgment. A person may think they have done nothing "wrong," and maybe they didn't, but maybe they are lying to themselves and/or are blind to or denying the effects of their actions (Neptune). Restorative justice speaks to any harm being done to another person. We may not have done anything "wrong" but our actions could still have caused harm to another person (and vice versa) and we are therefore accountable to that person to do our best to help heal their wound. I like the approach of Nonviolent Communication that speaks to people creating "bad strategies" to get their needs met that end up hurting other people. In this paradigm the person is not "bad," but has used "bad" means to attain their end. No matter how we look at it, everyone is responsible for what they've put out in the world and Saturn never forgets. It may take him 28 years (or more) to bring things back round but he's in no hurry. Look how long the Middle East has been at war! So, it's not a matter of "hurry up and fix it." It's a matter of uncovering layer after layer of our psyche to see down into the root of ourselves and our motivations. My feeling is that most everything nasty that people do is based upon a sense of lack. We're not enough, don't have enough, are missing or got ripped off of this, that, or the other thing/person/experience. We need more money, sex, power, recognition, you name it... This sense of lack comes at the moment of birth when they cut the umbilical cord. It is profound. There is an empty void created that can really only be filled with "Spirit." However, Spirit is in all that is! So go figure! Besides "spirits," (alcohol), their are nature spirits, daimons, angelic spirits, dark spirits, "dead" spirits, there's spirits all over, in and through this place. It's simply that there are some spirits that are more healthy for us than others. If we don't fill our emptiness with healthy spirits, we can stay hungry, greedy, lustful, depraved, etc. and take actions that harm other people. So this time/year of reckoning that we are in is an excellent time to review our strategies with an aim to fill our life experience with healthy spirits thereby letting go of old bad habit patterns that filled the emptiness in the past. However, this is experience is so different from what we are used to that we may feel a bit overwhelmed. We may also get a little too much in the head with all these ideas and/or be too detailed about them. That may then make us feel confused about which ideas to pursue and how to pursue them.It may also make us feel a bit stuck and unable to move forward.That is because we need more time to really get used to this new experience, integrate it into our identity, and enjoy it.As a result, I think we start to realize more intuitively that we need to slow down on some of the new ideas that are just now starting to enter our awareness before jumping head first into them. In episode 496 astrologer Chris Brennan talks about the transit of Uranus in Gemini, and how astrologers came to associate it with major wars in United States history. The first part of the episode discusses how the astrologer Luke Broughton (1828-1899) seems to have been the first astrologer to have observed the correlation between Uranus in Gemini and major wars in US history, and he used this in order to make predictions in the early 1860s about the start of the Civil War. Later I discuss the astrologer Evangeline Adams (1868-1932), who used the Uranus in Gemini transit to predict the start of US involvement in World War II, in a book that she published in 1931. Later I reflect on one of the earliest episodes of The Astrology Podcast, episode 11 titled The Astrology of Uranus and the United States, where I discussed this transit with Nick Dagan Best and the implication that it predicted another major war after Uranus enters Gemini again in 2025. This is also a followup to episode 376, titled The Uranus Return of the United States, which delves more into what Uranus in Gemini has coincided with in the past in US history. This episode was recorded late in the night of July 6, 2025, just hours before Uranus went into Gemini on July 7, and then released shortly after the ingress took place, with early Gemini rising. My goal was to reflect on the history of astrologers studying this transit and using it for predictions, and to mark the occasion as we head into what is clearly shaping up to be another very important turning point in US history. Astrology forecast for July 6-12Chris and Almie talk about the planet Uranus entering the sign of Gemini on Monday, July 7th. This will be the first time Uranus has been in Gemini since 1949. Historically speaking, Uranus in Gemini has a connection to U.S-involved wars, including World War II, the American Civil War, and the American Revolutionary War. Uranus in Gemini also suggests even more use of Artificial Intelligence, and big expansion in that world.They also talk about the Full Moon in Capricorn, which will be exact at 1:37pm pacific time on Thursday, July 10th. The Capricorn Full Moon could have us feeling ambitious, focusing on our career, and wanting to make improvements in those areas. And they touch on the Saturn Retrograde that starts on Saturday, July 12th, and they talk about how, believe it or not, “Saturn Retrograde” was once in consideration to be the title of the movie that everyone knows as “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” In “Ask a Scorpio,” Chris plays a trivia game with Almie where she needs to guess the names of famous people who were born when Uranus was in Gemini.
