President Donald Trump addressed questions about a visible bruise on his left hand after photographs taken during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, circulated widely on social media. That's one of the side effects of taking aspirin," Trump said on the return flight to the United States. I would say take aspirin if you like your heart, but don't take aspirin if you don't want to have a little... pic.twitter.com/4VXNtxe7qh Trump, 79, became the oldest person to take office as president in January 2024, and questions have periodically surfaced about his health and age. "Trump's left hand -- not the one that is usually disfigured -- now has a large bruise and is discolored," journalist Aaron Rupar wrote. "So now a bruise on BOTH of Trump's hands ... from aspirin ... and hand shaking," commentator Keith Olbermann wrote.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Blessed Are — Bruises to Blessings Description: In this message from the Blessed Are series, Pastor Eric addresses a bruised and grieving moment in our nation and calls the church to see suffering through the lens of Jesus' words: “Blessed are you…” Drawing from the Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount, he explains that blessing is not the absence of pain but the presence of God's redeeming purpose within it. Pastor Eric reflects on persecution, reviling, and being maligned for righteousness' sake, showing how cultural hostility toward biblical convictions is not new—and should not surprise believers. He emphasizes that following Christ means obedience to God over approval from men, even when that obedience leads to suffering, misunderstanding, or loss. The message presses the church to resist fear, self-censorship, and compromise, and instead walk faithfully as ambassadors of Christ. At the heart of the sermon is Isaiah 52–53, where the first and greatest bruise to blessing is revealed. Jesus Christ was wounded, bruised, rejected, and slain for our transgressions so that peace with God could be offered freely to sinners. Pastor Eric shows that Christ's suffering was purposeful, voluntary, and victorious—and that all who trust Him receive forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope. From Acts, 1 Peter, 2 Timothy, 2 Corinthians, and Hebrews 11, the message broadens to include both persecution and everyday hardship. Whether suffering comes through public hostility, personal loss, disability, sickness, or injustice, God redeems it for His glory when we keep an eternal perspective. Bruises do not have the final word—blessings do. Key Scriptures (NKJV): Matthew 5:3–12; Isaiah 52:13–53:12; Acts 5:29–42; 1 Peter 4:12–16; 2 Timothy 3:12; 2 Corinthians 4:16–18; Hebrews 11:35–40. Highlights: Why Jesus calls the persecuted blessed, not defeated. Biblical conviction vs. political labeling: living as a biblicist. Christ's bruising as the ultimate path to blessing (Isaiah 53). Peace with God purchased through the suffering of Jesus. Obeying God rather than men when faith is costly. Persecution in many forms: slander, exclusion, loss, hardship. Keeping an eternal perspective when life wounds deeply. The call to leave a legacy of faithfulness, not fear. Next Steps: Ask God to help you see your current bruises through an eternal lens. Thank Him for the suffering of Christ that secured your salvation. Pray for courage to live faithfully without compromise, and for grace to respond to opposition with truth, love, and endurance. Choose this week to rejoice—not in the pain—but in the promise that God is turning bruises into blessings for His glory.

Most people don't find out they have kidney damage until it's too late. Discover 18 early signs of kidney problems that often occur before the damage is too severe. When it comes to chronic kidney disease, prevention is key.0:00 Introduction: Kidney function explained 2:11 Early kidney damage signs 3:00 Stages of kidney disease 3:48 What destroys kidney health?7:07 18 visible kidney damage signs 10:08 How to prevent kidney diseaseHealthy kidneys are imperative to your overall health. The kidneys are situated deep within the rib cage, and have your adrenal glands on top. Each filtering unit of the kidney, called a nephron, contains a highly concentrated network of capillaries. There are 1 million nephrons in each kidney! This number often decreases with age, although it typically does not cause many symptoms. Kidneys are very good at compensating, even if they're 50% damaged. One of the earliest kidney health warning signs is protein in the urine. At-home urine tests detect the albumin-creatinine ratio, which you want to keep below 30 mg/g. The stages of chronic kidney disease are associated with specific percentages of nephron loss:Stage 2: 20% loss Stage 3: 60% lossStage 4: 85% lossStage 6: 95% lossThe good news is that if you catch kidney disease in time, it can be reversed. The following factors often cause kidney disease: •Ultra-processed foods •PFAS•Insulin resistance •Medications•Low vitamin D •Low magnesium •Low omega-3s •Poor sleep Here are 18 early signs of kidney disease:1. Puffy eyes 2. Swollen feet3. Swollen hands 4. Sudden weight gain5. Foamy urine6. Itchy skin 7. Pale skin 8. Dark circles under the eyes9. Bruise easily10. Dark urine11. Blood in the urine12. In this episode, I'm talking about the part of growth nobody glamorises online. Not the breakthroughs. Not the wins. The bruise pokes. The moments where stretching into something new lights up the oldest, rawest stories you thought you'd already healed. In this episode I discuss: Why growth often reactivates old abandonment and rejection wounds. How your body confuses present-day expansion with past danger. Why tenderness doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. The myth of "if I were confident enough, this wouldn't bother me." How to meet the bruise without shrinking, spiralling, or fixing. Simple ways to soothe the younger parts of you that panic when things get bigger. This is a grounded, real conversation about the messy emotional underbelly of transformation. If you've ever wondered why getting what you want can still feel wobbly, raw, or "too much," this one's for you. Come tell me in The Done Era where is growth poking your old bruise right now?

In 2002 Speedstar released their debut, Bruises You Can Touch, and unless you were in Australia, you probably never heard it. The Australian band's first album is a quietly affecting collection of melancholic indie pop that trades in mood and atmosphere over flash. Restrained production gives the band's delicate melodies and wistful vocals room to breathe, creating an intimate and emotionally resonant experience. The album blends acoustic warmth and subtle distorted textures that recalls early Coldplay, Keane, Starsailor, and other 2000s post-Britpop bands, and stands as an overlooked gem of early-2000s indie. The Bruise Of Rejection
Will Anyone Ever Be Charged in the Death of Ellen Greenberg? 20 stab wounds. A knife in her chest. Bruises in various stages of healing. The official ruling? Suicide. Now, 14 years later, with a new Hulu documentary (Death in Apartment 603) and a court-ordered review underway, the question that refuses to go away is this: Will anyone ever be held accountable for Ellen Greenberg's death? In this special longform commentary, we cut through the noise and walk through the most disturbing, undeniable facts of this case—the forensic findings, investigative failures, and shifting stories that have led many to believe there's been a cover-up from the very beginning. Why did the medical examiner reverse a homicide ruling under police pressure? Why was the crime scene released for cleaning before a full forensic sweep? And why does Ellen's death certificate still say suicide, when even the original pathologist now says it shouldn't? We also ask the harder question: What's stopping prosecutors from filing charges, or even opening a formal investigation? From chain-of-custody issues with Ellen's electronics to conflicting elevator surveillance and 911 call timelines, this case isn't lacking in evidence—it's been drowning in it. What it's lacked is the institutional will to follow it. With the public demanding answers, Ellen's parents fighting through the courts, and the Hulu series putting the spotlight back where it belongs, we're at a pivotal moment. Will this be the turning point? Or will the system once again find a way to look away? Justice delayed doesn't have to be justice denied. But it will be—if no one acts.

Abuse doesn't always leave physical scars, but it always leaves an impact. In this episode of the Journey Beyond Divorce Podcast, I sit down with Annette Oltmans — survivor, author, and founder of The M3ND Project — to shine a light on the realities of emotional and covert abuse, and the all-too-common retraumatization that happens when victims seek help but are met with disbelief or dismissal. Annette's groundbreaking work on Double Abuse® gives language to what so many survivors have experienced but struggled to name. Together, we explore what emotional and covert abuse really look like, the risks of misusing terms like “gaslighting” or “narcissism” in legal contexts, and how to safeguard your credibility when telling your story in court or to professionals. We talk about why so many therapists, clergy, and attorneys still miss the signs of abuse and how you can begin finding the ones who truly understand. Most importantly, we discuss how to take those first healing steps with support that validates your experience and helps you move forward. We also highlight valuable resources from The M3ND Project, including free guides, training, and tools designed to help both survivors and professionals respond with clarity and compassion. If you've been struggling to put words to your experience or to find the right help, you are not alone. This conversation will give you insight, hope, and practical direction as you take steps to heal and rebuild your life. Concerns started with large dark bruises on President Trump‘s hands. Then comments were made about how large his ankles appeared. He'd been spotted wandering back-and-forth along the red carpet when he met Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Add to that, Trump's nonsensical ramblings, inability to focus or remember things, and there are serious worries about whether Trump is okay. Vice President JD Vance spoke to the media and said he was ready to step in if needed but to him, the president seemed healthy. Over the weekend, some pictures were posted of the President leaving to play golf, but people quickly realized the photos were a year old. Now, the rumors and memes are running wild as the White House announces a statement by Trump today. Tech Tuesday brings Jefferson Graham to the show.
